PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION MARCH 9-11, 2018) — While wondering why the airport runways have to be redone for the third time in a few years and why Clapp Park needs its third renovation, each time with work doled out to Favored contractors and consultants, THE PLANET revisited the mayor’s proposal to bring a stained-glass motif to Tyler Street. We decided to get into the spirit of the thing, and thus we propose a series of stained glass windows depicting various city events and personages, much the same way stained glass in churches were used to teach illiterate people about the Bible, the life of Christ, and the saints.

Here are the scenes and people we will commission (Favored, politically correct artists only, of course, with as little talent as possible — the any it’s usually done in Pittsfield):

— Charley Baker, Richie Neal, and their coat-holder Pittsfield mayor depicted multiplying the loaves and fishes then lunching on hummingbird tongues while Persip Park beggars linger near the BIC letting the dog lick their sores.

— Peter Marchetti aromaticly curing the pink-faced lepers stumbling around at Lach’s Lounge and the beer garden at Wahconah Park.

— Linda Tyer cutting ribbons and asparagus at garbage cans and lounge seats while she steps on the head of a taxpayer.

— Helen “Cookie” Moon pounding vanilla wafers from the city council dais.

— Nick Caccamo cashing a city pay check at Methuselah, stepping over an underage kid who’s just been shot.

— John Krol going back into the tomb after rising from the dead. In the tomb, we see equipment for a podcast and the Maytag repairman. He wonders where everyone has gone.

— Tony Simonelli in a tar-mottled baseball uniform, getting picked off first.

— Earl Persip tap dancing across his cell like Mr. Bojangles.

— Peter White transfigured on the top of Mt. Greylock. He has the countenance of a thin coat of finger paint drying on a desk blotter.

— Kathy Yon offloading makeup onto her face while looking into a cracked mirror.

— Jason “JIV” McCandless leading the tax collectors in robbing The Good Samaritan of the poor fellow’s every last cent.

— Kristen Behneke getting her nails done by nine members of her staff while a herd of swine jump off the roof at the Mercer Building.

— Matt Kerwood in a city hall men’s room stall doing strange things with his bow tie.

— The poor, huddled masses of the Pittsfield working class, bunched around a barrel fire outside while gang members, drug dealers, and welfare cheats buy lazy man’s lobster with EBT cards at the downtown Big Y. In the parking lot, a drug user dies of an overdose.

— The “clients” at the Merrill Road meth clinic buying heroin in the parking lot while Chief Wynn sips daquiris on a sunny beach, far away.

— DPW chief turning wine into polluted water at the wedding of a contractor and a consultant.

— The kickbacks and bribes infecting local government letting Joe Kapanski die on a cross on top of Hill 78.

— David Turocy walking on water at the Cleveland Reservoir.

Have a great weekend,  everybody.

I want Stockbridge and Great Barrington to do more to attract business as the locals in those towns must need jobs.Pittsfield hires to many people from outside its city limits.I want to build a jobs wall and make Dalton and Lenox and Stockbridge pay for it in a tariff system thst will be deducted from their check.Protect Jobs in Pittsfield…..Pat and 12 Gauge how much have your expenses gone down with deregulation and the extra 8 bucks per week .Social Security income should be doubled and Ryan and Trump want it cut

Why doesn’t the city of Pittsfield bring in Dan Guss, former VP Krofta as a consultant to give a 2nd opinion on the water plant issue? He’s legit, lives in Pa. I thought of that when reading his letter to the editor in Fri’s Berkshire Eagle.

Our local radio station 1420 has cancelled both afternoon conservative talk shows. First it was the Howie Carr show now they just got rid of USA today which normally started at noon and ran until 3 PM. The Glen Beck morning show is still hanging on but who knows how long before they get rid of that one. Talk about living in an area where our media is monitored. They are trying to totally control the radio programming in this area just as they do with the print media.

The Glen Beck show is very popular so hopefully that show survives but since we live in an increasingly Communist Berkshire County who knows? I know we can get these stations in other ways, but you need to purchase special devices and in a poor area not everyone can afford these devices which is what the politicians are counting on. This way they can totally control the messages and ideas received by locals.

Every local radio talk show here in Berkshire County is liberal Dusty. The talk shows I am referring to are not local stations, but were broadcast in this area until recently.

Pat, your priggish attitude permeates every part of your life.Everything is somebody else’s fault. Radio station’s are businesses. They exist to make a profit, not to make people like you happy. WBEC has to pay for Howie Carr’s loathsome show and since they weren’t making money on it they discontinued the show just as they did that fat fool Rush. You’ll just have to buy one of those special devices that you speak of or sit there and pout over the communists taking over our hills.

Priggish means self-righteous and morally superior. You are getting me confused with Progressives who are the ones who are truly priggish. Progressives refer to everyone as being racist and haters of women at every opportunity. Obviously it is Progressives who consider themselves to be morally superior or priggish as you call it.

I have to agree with the Gaetani proposal going forward, the seven dim wits that tried to railroad the taxpayers at the last Council meeting voting for 70 million went to far. Noconcern for the bedraggled taxpayers, Gaetani will eat this Gus’s up for din din, teller to stay home.

If it weren’t for trumps old man he would have never received the bailout from the investors, they used the trump brand name, that was his collateral. In Essence, he’s a failure as business man who owes big corp execs who was bailed out by big money.

Gaetani by the way, is a self made manmillionaire, big difference.

U, I agree with the frustration, but they all do it. Trump’s biggest disappointment will be whether the debt will reduce by way of money from overseas that he promised to reduce our debt. And will Corporation’s reinvest in Capital, or stuff it in their accounts.

Two hundred million dollars from the Mayor’s spending spree. Who ever heard of spending money from taxpayer’s you dont have, And who gives the authority to the School and City council to spend spend spend.

When twenty plus thousand d people do not vote, then there is something wrong, the system needs to be change,a town manager might work, that would eliminate the Council and School stipend and insurance.

Agree that Trump Voterms have been burned bythe Media, they just won’t let him work.

Why do you have such hate toward the Wiz, will you benefit from what he did at the last City Council Meeting- regarding you’re sewer and water bills.

You saw him demolish three engineering firms and Terrorosee. The Wiz is the Ultimate Professional, and I predict he will demolish the consultants when the Water Plant upgrades come about next year.

You should send the Wiz a thank you note for working on your behalf to kill that sewer project which would have raised our water and sewer bills four fold.

Some people are just mean, and you are mean and stupid Lenny, any questions.

Well that’s just it, there was hardly any rebuttle for the approval by the seven against the Fantastic Four as Planet calls them. Cookie did say something about Global Concerns and doing our part,I guess that is o k but in the grand scheme it looked like a water- boy carrying a bucket for the Mayor.

Peter Arlos would be proud of Citizen Gaetani, for one,he’s very professional, smart, and knows the Business, but most importantly is not ever complacent, until he sees that the
tax and rate player has a say in the outcome.
One of his items on his PCTV Show was dedicated to why the Citizens could not vote on the New School. It seems that the City Councilors, because elected and not by a mandate, think every Vote they make is the way All Citizens want that vote to go,because they think they know what’s best, and that they were voted in to make those decisions. I disagree, some decisions, especially projects back breaking the taxpayer, should be put to a referendum, two specifically which the Planet and G-Man have talked about extensively about the New School and fortunately this Water Deal, which got shot down.
