PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION MARCH 9-11, 2018) — While wondering why the airport runways have to be redone for the third time in a few years and why Clapp Park needs its third renovation, each time with work doled out to Favored contractors and consultants, THE PLANET revisited the mayor’s proposal to bring a stained-glass motif to Tyler Street. We decided to get into the spirit of the thing, and thus we propose a series of stained glass windows depicting various city events and personages, much the same way stained glass in churches were used to teach illiterate people about the Bible, the life of Christ, and the saints.

Here are the scenes and people we will commission (Favored, politically correct artists only, of course, with as little talent as possible — the any it’s usually done in Pittsfield):

— Charley Baker, Richie Neal, and their coat-holder Pittsfield mayor depicted multiplying the loaves and fishes then lunching on hummingbird tongues while Persip Park beggars linger near the BIC letting the dog lick their sores.

— Peter Marchetti aromaticly curing the pink-faced lepers stumbling around at Lach’s Lounge and the beer garden at Wahconah Park.

— Linda Tyer cutting ribbons and asparagus at garbage cans and lounge seats while she steps on the head of a taxpayer.

— Helen “Cookie” Moon pounding vanilla wafers from the city council dais.

— Nick Caccamo cashing a city pay check at Methuselah, stepping over an underage kid who’s just been shot.

— John Krol going back into the tomb after rising from the dead. In the tomb, we see equipment for a podcast and the Maytag repairman. He wonders where everyone has gone.

— Tony Simonelli in a tar-mottled baseball uniform, getting picked off first.

— Earl Persip tap dancing across his cell like Mr. Bojangles.

— Peter White transfigured on the top of Mt. Greylock. He has the countenance of a thin coat of finger paint drying on a desk blotter.

— Kathy Yon offloading makeup onto her face while looking into a cracked mirror.

— Jason “JIV” McCandless leading the tax collectors in robbing The Good Samaritan of the poor fellow’s every last cent.

— Kristen Behneke getting her nails done by nine members of her staff while a herd of swine jump off the roof at the Mercer Building.

— Matt Kerwood in a city hall men’s room stall doing strange things with his bow tie.

— The poor, huddled masses of the Pittsfield working class, bunched around a barrel fire outside while gang members, drug dealers, and welfare cheats buy lazy man’s lobster with EBT cards at the downtown Big Y. In the parking lot, a drug user dies of an overdose.

— The “clients” at the Merrill Road meth clinic buying heroin in the parking lot while Chief Wynn sips daquiris on a sunny beach, far away.

— DPW chief turning wine into polluted water at the wedding of a contractor and a consultant.

— The kickbacks and bribes infecting local government letting Joe Kapanski die on a cross on top of Hill 78.

— David Turocy walking on water at the Cleveland Reservoir.

Have a great weekend,  everybody.

Stormy Daniels would have nothing to do with me! I am not a billionaire orange-colored “Frito-Lay Cheetoh”.

If someone who is a have-not like me expressed interest in someone like Stormy Daniels, she would laugh at me. She likes the rich guys like Donald Trump. It is all about sex, money, power, and LIES!

So, to answer your question, I am NOT jealous of Donald Trump’s past relationship with Stormy Daniels! It would never happen for a have-not guy like me.

Sadly Jonathon it is exactly people like you that made Stormy ⛈ the tornado that may have sucked The Donald into the vortex. So it is all your fault you filthy bastard. Nucifaro probably has copies of private video chats between you and a Stormy lookalike and that’s why you hate him so much.

How did someone like me, who has more debts than assets, and is a have-not, make someone like Stormy Daniels, who is going to make millions off of a “Monica Lewinsky”?

No high-priced woman like Stormy or Monica would have anything to do with someone like me!

I subscribe to the old Catholic mantra: “Some for the rich man, Nun for the poor man”. Donald Trump and Bill Clinton got some, while guys like me got Nun.

The reasons why I hate Luciforo are:
* Nuciforo conspiratorially had people bully me since I was 20 years old during the Spring of 1996. In over 21-plus years, no one from Nuciforo’s network who has harmed me has apologized to me for bullying me on Nuciforo’s behalf without Nuciforo leaving behind his own fingerprints/DNA.
*Nuciforo filed multiple “ethics” complaints against my dad from the Fall of 1997 – Spring of 1998. During the Spring of 1998, Nuciforo set up secretive plans with the Pittsfield Police Department to have me arrested by falsely telling them that I made “veiled threats” against him. Nuciforo was upset that my dad, who was a Berkshire County Commissioner, and myself opposed his push to abolish Berkshire County Government, which was abolished on July 1, 2000.
* Nuciforo served as a corporate Attorney for a private Boston law firm serving big banks and insurance companies, while he chaired the state Senate Finance Committee from 1999 – 2006. In early-2007, Nuciforo lobbied then-Governor Deval Patrick to name him state Commissioner of Insurance.
* Nuciforo strong-armed two women candidates – Sara Hathaway and Sharon Henault – for a state government political office: Pittsfield Registrar of Deeds, in the Spring of 2006. He anointed himself to a sinecure to plot a failed run for U.S. Congress in 2012.
* From the Summer of 2005 to present, Nuciforo’s network spread vicious rumors against me to the people of the Pittsfield area. The specific rumor that I “stalked a Jewish woman from Otis” was actually part of Nuciforo having people associated with his political network conspiratorial bullying of me in 1996 when I was 20 then 21 years old that yesteryear.
* Nuciforo has invested hundreds of thousands of his own dollars into a not-for-profit marijuana dispensary in Pittsfield. I suspect he is using his political connections to sell marijuana.
* Nuciforo is the inbred, dark Prince of Pittsfield politics. His late-father was a state Senator and then a Judge. His late-aunt was Pittsfield’s first Mayor and a long-time Berkshire Community College Professor. His uncle was a Pittsfield state Representative. Nuciforo believes he owns Pittsfield politics and that people should either bend to his will or fear his reprisals. I long told Nuciforo that he doesn’t scare me. I long told Nuciforo that “I will always speak my good conscience as long as I live”!

Thank you President Trump for your soon to be historic meeting with the North Korean leader. Peace through STRENGTH!!!! Leaders such as the one in North Korea respect strength not weak leaders who throw money at them and watch as they use the money to create nuclear weapons.

When the North Korean leader told President Trump he was too old and deranged, President Trump said he doesn’t believe in name calling which is why he would never call Kim-Jong Un short and fat. President Trump left no doubt that Kim-Jong Un know that our country is more powerful and if North Korea wants to be a player on the world stage (which they now are thanks to Obama’s infusion of mega bucks to them), then they need to understand the balance of power and using nukes just because you have them ISN’T DONE by respectable countries. This is the only language understood by power mad individuals.

Yes, I also agree with President Trump that America’s factories have been allowed to rot for far too long when they used to be a source of good income for American workers. Go President Trump!!!

The Berkshire Eagle (BB) runs an article about how so many poor in this area are losing good teeth because dental care is so bad that procedures such as root canals and caps are not covered by Medicare. The article blames government for not covering those procedures, but there is no mention of the fact that when people had jobs in this area, they also had dental and medical care. With the loss of so many jobs here in Berkshire County, many people lost their dental insurance.

Pittsfield city workers and school employees get the best of the best when it comes to healthcare including top notch dental care. No worries for those groups thanks to the beaten down taxpayers paying for their excellent benefits, but it’s the poor who are suffering. No employment plans for this area because as we know our current mayor thinks that job creation isn’t a priority and not the reason why people would want to live here. This shows how out of touch these local politicians are with the poor in this city. People are herded on to the government programs to pay for basics and to keep them beholden to big government, but receiving excellent dental care ONLY comes from having a good paying job with benefits.

Gaetani has a petition according to the Gazette asking for an accounting of the projects, read that, doesn’t want a penny more spent by the Council until the consultants produce that documentation. Naysayers were even helped by his latest devouring of the no excuse seven that voted for funding, without hardly an argument or peep. Why does he even bother with people, who would in some cases lose their homes? If I were him I would tell people to kiss his ass, but he won’t, he’s the real deal, he wants to help. The four City Councilors did a fantastic job, and going forward have a lot of clout because(they are)four. Please help keep water rates affordable, the opposition to the four are,and we’re,totally negligent. Maybe it’s time to increase Council pay to attract a better City Councilor, but give it to the four who voted for Kapanski. Don’t worry about Gaetani, he’ll give advice for free, his fee is 1300 an hour.

I am checking with family and friends and they were able to get them some weeks ago.

This is a scam. The larger ones command more monthly fees than the digital ones.

Pat, you are 1000 percent right. They are coming for every dime they can squeeze out of anyone who stays with them. Seems like they have been laying the groundwork for a shafting of their customers and it is just starting to explode.

There are other options but so far they seem very complicated to me. Listening for any and all advice on a work around. It gets complicated when the needs of different people within a household vary.

Soon Berkshire County people will look like they come from Appalachia since the poor will not have teeth. Why doesn’t the left care? Why do they crack jokes about this situation? I thought the left cared so much for the poor? Is it because they don’t want to acknowledge the connection between the lack of good jobs and people not having dental insurance because this would makes the Progressives look bad? They need to read the article in the Berkshire Eagle and the connection between poor dental health and your general health. This is a serious crisis in this area right now.

I understand that there is a difference between taxes and grants blah blah blah. But why is there so much money for things like the Innovation Center, Shot Spotters, millions for the Common upgrade, parking kiosks, gyms, pay raises and on and on? And yet something as basic as decent roads apparently has no where near enough money.

Do not buy into this singsong about the roads are bad every spring. The roads in Pittsfield are horrible way beyond any normal spring in my lifetime. And the reason is because they have not been properly maintained for years. The longer they go without resurfacing the more cracks and holes evolve. And so now the choice is to continually fill in thousands of pot holes all across the city or resurface most of the roads.

I would love to know what the mayors plan is to fix this road mess. It seems like Pittsfield has several huge money pit problems and I can see HUGE tax increases every year for the next 20 years. This is no place to live and get ahead if you do not make big money. Smart families will consider options now.

We are at their mercy.

Terrible health insurance. More and more things are not being covered. More and more providers in this area not taking new patients. Terrible healthcare here in Berkshire County. Doctors will not come here because they won’t get enough money. Not enough dermatologists and the ones we do have not accepting new patients. NOT GOOD!!!

Since trump got in not Obama going out or Clinton going anywhere,no job ,higher gas, higher electric, tax refund lower, higher prices at all Stores, health co-pays higher, insurance paying less, roads deteriorating, check out out Hancock Rd, tony roads can’t even fix that one by the bridge, this is deplorable because this didn’t happen overnight, Commish Tearemupsee didn’t have a plan, and the Councilor in Ward seven has the nerve to say he’s doing an admirable job? Anyone can sit in an office, bet a call from one of the seven water votes for and fill in a pot-hole.

Interestingly Pat, Melania is not breathing that fresh air. She wants to move back to Europe and forget her whole American experience. But Trump is holding the kid hostage. See Breitbart or ask Hannity about that

After having seen a couple of items in the news, with the Planets coverage, the nonsense recently at the City Council concerning the seven that voted without any input on a mega project, as far as the consequences of not trying for alternative solutions, or even mention the killer price tag, and thanx for the former builder of the Water Plant and the four Fantastic Councilors that the Planet Calls them. I’d just call them the four most intelligent, the other seven were incredibly wrong using the Kick the Can down the road b s. Anyway, if those four continue as one, there should be some positive results for the taxpayer who simply cannot afford the continual spending by the Mayor,Schools and Seven City Councilors,Percept should wear a Dunce Cap at the next Meeting, the Gaetani fellow said he will bring forward proposals for some kind of accoutability going forward. That man is sharp, but will any of these vozo’s listen. Aside, Go Trump!

Didn’t the media have enough of the locker room audio against PrezPlayboy to suggest he was a creep before elected? Not that there is anything wrong with side dishes. Stormy is an actress by the way.

Locally, while thugs walk the streets and taxpayers can’t drive on crummy roads at night. We must wonder if Gaetani is doing us any favors, trying like hell to keep people in their homes, because seven useless City Council members were to lazy to think and understand, what a wipeout of a tax bill would have resulted in their haste to vote, without a Rate Figure, uncomprehensible. It blows the mind. Gaetani has lassoed them, now it’s just a matter of branding the flock of seven.

Thank Heavens Hancock Speedway has created any serious accidents lately, but speeding is a daily occurrence, nutz. And speaking of Hancock Rd. extension across from Peck’s Rd. don’t try going that way, probably the biggest potholes in the City by that Bridge. Tony should cash in on that Vote he made the other night, it was embarrassing?

I think Tony S needs to come out to his ward constituents and the rest of the cities taxpayers + explain how he has magically went over to the do whatever we say Tyer/Marchetti side. It was less than a year ago he was leading the charge against these progressive tax+spend dimwits(Krol-Caccamo-White) Don’t know if Tony S has been promised some project for his ward or Tyer/Marchetti are sliding him some of their Taconic $ kickbacks but his turnaround has been disturbing. Doesn’t pass the smell test.

I ran across a guy on Dalton Ave pushing a wheel barrow full of asphalt chunks. Asked him if he was giving back to the community by cleaning up the mess. He told me he used to picked up aluminum cans for extra cash but now he sees an opportunity to recycle road material as there is enough volume to turn a profit. Anyone else interested can take it to Lenoxdale where there is a recyclable collection site. Technically it is city property so you might need to register with the city as a private contractor and pull a permit and pay taxes on your profits. (you may be able to deduct the cost of safety equipment and your wheel barrow if you file schedule C)

And if you do this please BE SAFE. Be careful not to twist an ankle stepping into one of the deeper holes. Wear bright florescent yellow pants and vest especially during night collections. OH, and, watch out for cars and trucks which despite all the risks of damage still need to get from place to place.

Harvesting asphalt can be an exciting new career for both the entrepreneur as well as the bum on the street looking for recognition. Get your foot in the door now!
