(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY AUG. 12, 2019) — THE PLANET‘s not buying the “suicide” of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, he of the billionaire lifestyle and friends among the crème de la creeps. Officials found Epstein “unresponsive” in his cell at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Facility. The shocker occurred one day after the courts unsealed thousands of documents on a global sex-trafficking operation allegedly run by the former financier. Mere coincidence, of course. Epstein’s death ends the criminal case against him and robs victims at their chance at justice.

Epstein had the goods on Too Many Important People, and after having seen his life slammed to rock bottom, he was going to take some Mighty Big Names with him. He was ready to chirp. And then …

He was silenced. Rubbed out. Jack Ruby-ed. Dead Men Tell No Tales. That’s the only logical explanation of how someone under intense security, deemed an acute suicide risk who had attempted same two weeks ago, could have pulled off a self-snuff worthy of Houdini and David Copperfield. The mainstream media was quick to counter, saying there was “no evidence” of a hit. Yeah, but isn’t that the point? When it’s done right, there never is.

You want a bipartisan issue? AG William Barr and Rep. Alex Ocascio Cortez agree. Barr wasted no time launching a probe; AOC tweeted that “We need answers. Lot’s of them.” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said Epstein “reportedly tried to kill himself two weeks ago and is allowed to finish the job now?”

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) wrote to Barr: “Every single person in the Justice Department — from your Main Justice headquarters staff all the way to the night-shift jailer — knew that this man was a suicide risk, and that his dark secrets couldn’t be allowed to die with him. Given Epstein’s previous attempted suicide, he should have been locked in a padded room under unbroken, 24/7, constant surveillance. Obviously, heads must roll.”

Both sides of the aisle have found accord, but will The Dark Powers running the show allow the truth to emerge?

———- ooo ———-

Suicide watch is an intensive monitoring of a person designed to make not only suicide but even a suicide attempt impossible:

  • The cell has no furniture except a mattress on the floor.
  • The person is given an extra-thick blanket that cannot be cut or torn into strips for hanging.
  • The cell has no fixtures or protrusions (shower heads, bunks) that can be used to tie off one end of a rope or strip.
  • Inmates wear a paper gown that easily tears under pressure.
  • Video cameras monitor the cell 24/7.

Since Epstein tried to “take the pipe” recently, he should have been deemed an “acute risk.” Under normal suicide watch, staff physically check on the inmate every 10 to 15 minutes, keeping a log. Under acute risk, staff monitors the person, physically, 24/7. However, magically and mysteriously, someone ordered Epstein off suicide watch one week after his failed attempt. He was left alone in his cell the night before he died. News reports cite short staffing. From an anonymous source.

Even without an inside job, it’s hard to imagine a scenario under which Epstein would have had the opportunity, tools, or time to do this. Pathologists say it takes about five minutes for a person to hang himself — if all goes well. As Epstein’s first botched attempt shows, it’s not that easy to off oneself. In the most intensely monitored wing of a highly secured facility such as the Metro Correctional Center, suicide by hanging is virtually impossible, unless this was hit. If there was ever The Man Who Knew Too Much, it was Epstein. He had too many friends in high places — royalty, presidents, and too many high-profile billionaires, celebrities, academics, athletes, scientists, and others on the A List to count.

Question is: How many will buy their way out of the mess? How many will the courts find “too big to fail?”

Just so we’re clear. Some of us are able to get over ourselves, and the past. Barry C. and I have been buds a long time now; we just went in a different direction when Andrea Harrington was the chosen one to challenge Caccaviello.

And if you feel so strongly about his place on my facebook friends list, please unfriend at-will. I don’t take marching orders from you or anyone else – including my wife.

If you think I’m “poison” – Why broadcast this idiotic issue? It doesn’t deserve any real time notoriety, from you or anyone else hiding behind a silly pseudonym.

I friended a couple of Russians too; when would you like to proclaim me a Russian asset?

      Get over yourself!!

Barry Clairmont a better person than you’ll ever be.

That’s really juvenile to jeopardize an outstanding mayor’s chances of re-election because of someone’s facebook connection.

There’s no there there, Blare. And you’re right I did what I did during the DA contest. I admit to being Betsy (John Citi) Capeless’s patsy. That was then, this is now.

It takes a big character to set aside politics in favor of mutual collegiality. If that irks you, so be it.

I’m kinda perplexed why this silly stuff has resurfaced? If anyone should be angered it’s Barry C., not you, What is your stake in this? Do you have a personal interest or just determined to create issues when there are none?

Once again, Barry Clairmont has more character and stability than anyone in or around Bianchi’s, Bowler’s, and Mazzeo’s political machines. I worked intimately with each of those folks and I can tell you this: they are the most vindictive, petty, and childish group of never was, fighting to hold onto power, than I ever met. I’m embarrassed to have been associated with them.

Come clean to your real identity. Stand tall and reveal yourself so you can be held accountable like Barry Clairmont and myself are – on this site.

My thought as to your true identity. You read like Cicero. And most of us believe Cicero to John Krol. So, if you are Mr. Krol, get over yourself. You created your earlier problems with the network, not me. You fell outta favor because of your overzealousness and lack of foresight. That’s your problem, not mine.

I agree that this was a professional murder orchestrated by and paid for through high levels of government. Any number of possibilities could now be true.
Epstein may not be dead at all and may be back on his island.
He may have already been cremated and any purported autopsy make be fake.

We may see other people/witnesses close to this case disappear in the coming days. And this may include any jail personnel who aided and abetted access to him.

The List of Clinton Associates Who Allegedly Died Mysteriously. Check It Out.
    August 10, 2016

This is a message that began being forwarded via email in the mid-1990s of various Bill and Hillary Clinton associates alleged to have died under mysterious circumstances. This conspiracy theory continued to resurrect itself during Hillary Clinton’s 2008 and 2016 presidential bids.

And yet, the one photo with Epstein of a man with his arm around a woman too young for him was published yesterday.

Epstein’s bud? Donald Trump. The woman? Melania Trump

How much did Don the Con have to lose if Epstein barked? It is SO easy to peddle this conspiracy crap. Bill Clinton’s life is like an old open Penthouse magazine with the pages flapping in the wind.

Donald Trump uses the courts to keep his life sealed in a bank vault protected by lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit.

Both Clinton and Trump are scumbags. Period.

As for Epstein, federal prison cells lack the fixtures for suicide by hanging. Unless Epstein tied something around this neck, then to the upper metal bunk, and then just slid his feet down the floor as the bunk is about 5 feet high.

It’s likely he was offed. Give Alan Dershowitz a call. Maybe he knows something.

    From today’s Eagle:

Mayor Linda Tyer and Superintendent Jason Mc-Candless plan to use the additional funds to move the district’s alternative middle school program from Herberg Middle School to space on Eagle Street, as well as hire additional staff to support it. The plans also include the addition of a restorative justice intervention center in each middle school, common planning time for the city’s elementary schools, adding grade level sections at Egremont and Crosby elementary schools, and hiring an autism consultant that could help the schools better serve that segment of the population and avoid costly placements outside the district.

And Tyer and McCandless also aim to set aside $273,600 of the additional state funds for health insurance costs associated with the additional school employees.

The School Committee will review the plans 6 p.m. Monday in council chambers, while the City Council will dive into them 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Pointing the finger at Trump is the real diversion from the REAL killers. A classic CLINTON manuver. They should’nt hire a better principle for Taconic, they should give the money back to the people where it belonged in the first place.

Agree that he may have already been creamated and be back on his island. No doubt we will see others disappear soon with the 4 men killed in Bengazi. The dark powers are more likely the racists. Clinton has the most to lose. Pointing the finger at Trump is the real diversion from the REAL killers. A classic CLINTON manuver. Doubt we’ll ever find out the whole truth about Epstein’s death and other activities–too many powerful people involved.

The extra money we received from the State for our school budget this year is a one time payment. Can’t expect to get that every year. However, all the new hires because of this will be employed from now on.

You will never see any layoffs. Just keep increasing the school budget. It never ends for the taxpayers.

AG Barr’s father as headmaster of exclusive school in NYC hired
Epstein to teach young boy’s and girls math. Epstein had no college degree or experience teaching math…but he did have
experience working with young girls….So why is AG Barr on the case ? ( his father was later fired for poor performance in job )

In answer to your question about why you should write about the parking debacle again – yes you sliced it and diced it pretty good a while back – the answer is:

    A. It’s still a mess
    B. There’s still too much smoke and mirrors about revenue and expenses.
    C. The Summer St/Columbus lot issues brought it back to forefront.
    D. Tyer wants to hire the same consultant as before for more consulting.
    E. It’s an election year, and should be an issue, though as i’ve Been sayin – it’s Landside Linda cuz no one’s campaigning.
    F. Neither I Berkshires or The Boaring Broadsheet can roast a marshmallow as well as you. Too afraid of getting toasted.

What fuels the conspiracy theories is the constant lies that we are told on a daily basis. Debate and discussion are replaced with intimidation and threats. Let’s face it two weeks ago Epstein said there were threats on his life and he was placed on suicide watch his lawyer put pressure on to get him off suicide watch. The guards were suppose to check on him every 15 minutes but they were overworked, understaffed and underpaid. Someone should be held accountable. Let’s not search for the truth though that might put the blame where it belongs.

      Ron –
He was murdered. Guys like that don’t have it in them to kill themselves. He was a billionaire who was accustomed to buying his way out of anything. In his world everything had a price tag.

    • Truthsayer

Lack of familiarity with the BOP and Special Housing leads to conspiracy theories based on speculation that has no basis in fact.

From the Bureau of Prisons: There are no cameras in the cells in the hole, aka Special Housing. Each cell can hold 2 prisoners, but for someone like Epstein, he was likely alone. There are cameras for the hall, each cell is locked 23/7 with 1 hour per day for outside “rec” but prisoners are contained in chainlinked outdoor cubes. There is a guard desk at the beginning of the hall in the Special Housing unit. Each cell has an emergency call button should an inmate be in distress or a medical issue ensues.

So, if someone offed Epstein, there is a recording of every person who entered his cell. It is 99.9999999999% unlikely that another prisoner offed him. If anyone did take him out, it would have had to have been a guard, the warden, or prison staff with access to him. Check out the recordings. Match against the approximate time of death. You have the killer (if there was one). Then, follow the money.

        August 13, 2019 at 11:03 am #

        Really, Sayer?
        Protocols were not followed.
Epstein’s lawyers pulled his 24/7 suicide watch. Why? His lawyers are now hiring lawyers.
If he died in prison – why the photos of his head, uncovered on the gurney being wheeled into the hospital?
His roommate moved the night before his death – why?
Probably the most famous inmate in the place – and no one checked on him for hours before his death? Despite a “suicide attempt” weeks before?
        Lots of unanswered questions.

Outside of the connected special interests who in this city is better off after her horrendous four years as mayor? Certainly not the senior citizens that make up a huge portion of the taxpayers.

If reelected. Pittsfield will likely be the setting for two horror paperbacks; The Tax Man Cometh, and The Axe Man Cometh; (for those not in her political cult. After all she brags that Jimmy Ruberto is her political icon and mentor).

I support the lovely Linda Tyer for reelection for Mayor of Pittsfield in 2019. However, I opposed Jimmy Ruberto’s failed policies and Good Old Boys club. I understand that the lovely Linda is part of Jimmy’s political network. I don’t hold that against her. I believe the lovely Linda is her own person. She cares about Pittsfield, and she listens to everyone, including the poor residents and distressed neighborhoods. I believe the lovely Linda stands for everything that I believe in when it comes to politics and government. She is progressive, fair, and an effective public manager.

In watching the Pittsfield School Committee meeting last night did anyone else pick up on how McCanass laughed and giggled every time he mentioned the money in his budget? I found it to be very insulting. He is doing absolutely nothing for our school system. He and the whole school committee are full of hot air! Our school system is failing more and more each year. Also, more and more students are electing to leave the Pittsfield School system and no one on the City Council or in the present Administration are asking why! He seems to be creating more and more made up titles with a high salary. What happened to reading, writing and arithmetic? I agree with you DV, he should be fired.

Our one party local political system gives money to the schools to buy votes and enforce the status quo. Goon family payoffs are school jobs and schools will circle the drain until the money runs out. Educating the kids is very far down the list of priority.

I wonder what would happen if a non democrat ran for mayor? Or State senator? Would they just crash and burn? Blame the State for this mess, starting voting out at a state level to help fix it.
