I agree with what Laura GRoss said. The culture saturates young boys and men with images of women as objects. The pictures sent to the planet, as you call it, show us the results. Dreadful.
Well, if the picture here is any indication, I say, whats the problem-o? hoo hah. Why werent the girls doing that when I sent to PHS? Oh I forgot they didn’t invent the cell phone until later. missed out again.
Well, this sort of thing goes on almost daily. I teach at one of the city schools. I have tried to intervene but receive no support from my principle and less from parents. Let me ask to two women posters here, Lindsey and L:aura: what responsibility do these young girls have to shoulder for willingly sending such pictures. A boy I can understand. Males will love this behavior. The girls don’t get away scott free.
The teacher is right. These girls have learned that to get a guy’s attention, they have to “tart up” and show off their goods. My wife is a teacher at Taconic. This stuff is happening right under the noses of the adminstration, and nothing is being done. She gets no support and has stopped fighting it.
