Just saw that the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of the Berkshires is trying to raise money for a new zamboni. Too bad they don’t the money that Terry Hughes wasted during his tenure at the Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Pittsfield. Let’s see. The renovation of the cabin which he spent a fortune on without getting any permits. The cabin is in danger of falling into Richmond Pond. Thousands of dollars wasted there on materials and manpower. Who did the work? Terry Hughes’ son and his daughter’s boyfriend. How about the $2000 wasted at the 2014 Chili and Chowder on renting a video machine with Tom Hamel’s stamp of approval? Terry Hughes spent $1000 on walkie talkies for the staff to use at the Club. Not in use at all. How much money was wasted on buying winter Under Armour vests for every staff person? How much did Terry Hughes spend with the Club’s gas cards going back and forth to Connecticut? How about the trip to Puerto Rico for Tina Wixsom? The trip to Atlanta for Terry Hughes? The trip for both of them to Washington, D.C. for both of them? Moving forward, how much money is being spent on renovating the cabin Peter Bell used to use for the so called security measures of having Tina Wixsom out at Camp Russell? The fence she had put up last year without permission from Chris Jacoby was not paid for by Ms. Wixsom as her daughter implied in a previous blog. How about the thousands of dollars being paid to a “volunteer” to run the basketball program? The Club doesn’t have money for a zamboni? I wonder why.
