(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, TUESDAY SEPT. 13, 2016) — Cars radiators overheat. Electronics with blocked cooling vents overheat. People do not “overheat.” The medically useless terms stands as another evasive euphemism coming out of Mrs. Bill Clinton’s dishonest campaign staff.

Mrs. Clinton “overheated” during Sunday ceremonies in New York City to mark the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. She secretly left the ceremony at about 9:30 a.m. Traveling press described her departure as “abrupt” and unannounced. Reporters didn’t even know she had left the event.  They were not told what happened, where she was, where she was taken, of why she vamoosed. Actually, she was whisked to her daughter’s NYC penthouse. Staff made the decision not to bring the sick woman to the ER in a futile attempt to keep her collapse out of the press.

Will they ever learn?

Amateur footage of Secret Service agents an aides escorting Mrs. Clinton shows the bloated former First Lady stumbling, bobbing, and staggering as she tries to get into a waiting van. The film shows that she has to be propped up to get her safely inside the vehicle.

This latest incident adds to the legitimate inquiries into Mrs. Clinton’s health. She has had numerous coughing fits and what look like mini-seizures on the campaign trail.

Ironically, GOP nominee Donald Trump stood near Mrs. Clinton during the 9/11 ceremonies. The two rivals had stopped campaigning Sunday to honor victims of the attacks. Trump stayed for an additional hour after Mrs. Clinton’s emergency exit. Just last week, Trump said his opponent “lacks the mental and physical stamina to take on ISIS and all the adversaries we face.”

Indeed, Mrs. Clinton has looked anything but presidential. She looks weak and sickly. Clearly, she’s a sick woman. Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani has suggested that all of the miles Mrs. Clinton logged as secretary of state have taken their toll on a woman who appears to be breaking down in front of our eyes.

Mrs. Clinton has not hesitated to use “the woman card” for political purposes. Nonetheless, evaluating candidates for any office should be gender neutral. But the press must report when one candidate is clearly weaker and less robust than the other. Being President doesn’t mean you have to be invulnerable, but it does require sufficient endurance, staying power, tirelessness, and fortitude.

Trump has it. Mrs. Clinton does not. She’s like that former star running back who makes the turn past 30. All of a sudden, the years of pounding become evident. Tell THE PLANET: When it’s 4th-and-1 and you need that tough yard, which of the two presidential candidates do you want getting the ball?

Speaking of Jason “Jake” JIV McCandless, superintendent of the Pittsfield School Department …

… uh, actually, we weren’t.

We were talking about breaking down. That’s the opposite of building up, which is what you missed when you weren’t paying attention to the Pittsfield School Committee (PSC) during the primary election.

Welcome to the the PSC’s evaluative “build up” of Pittsfield’s “super” super. The Ship of Fools went ogasmic, touching themselves in their gushing praise of  JIV. He walked on water, multiplied the loaves and fishes, turned water into oxycontin, and padded the salaries, benefits, and budgets of his department while the city side of the budget continued to starve and taxpayers were further gouged.

Kathy “Lady Boots” Yon, chairwoman, said JIV has made the failing Pittsfield public schools “more culturally literate and culturally competent” — whatever that means. Notice how she left out smarts. In their evaluation, Yon and the committee ignored academic performance. There’s a reason why parents continue to flee the Pittsfield school system in record numbers for other schools and districts to the tune of more than $5 million a year lost in school choice.

THE PLANET’s favorite quote came from committee house mouse Cynthia Taylor. She lauded JIV for being “an inexhaustible change agent” — whatever that means. Committee court jester Tony “Aiello” Riello rhapsodized about JIV’s god-like status: “I feel like I’m sitting next to a rock star,” he said. Which one, he didn’t say. We’re guessing Milli Vanilli.

And rather than curse the darkness, The Lovely Linda Tyer lit a McCandless. The mayor told JIV that “we are so fortunate to have you at the helm of our [failing] district.
