PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY AUG. 7, 2017) — Here are a few left-over items from the Infamous case of “Dr.” Muraca and Mr. Hide. The case is far from over. In fact, its an infant. The best is yet to come.

  • The film rights to this incredible tale of alleged fraud, greed, and filth have been purchased by Nano Nanoo Bio-Productions. The company, founded by a 32-ounce steak with all the fat, has recruited the noted French actor  Jhabba le Hhutte, late of Star Wars Meets the Arc de Triumph fame, to play the part of “Dr.” Muraca.
  • THE PLANET would never say Polythene Pat is a milker, but the question has occurred: Why is Muraca the Moocher living in a tat records show is home owned by his girlfriend, Facebook idol Darleen Zradi? As far as home sweet home is concerned, the Feds allege Muraca used investor funds to pay for his, his mothers, and others.
  • Zradi’s latest example of neo-post-modern fiction on Facebook comes from this morning: “Day off spending it with my mom ..Hope everyone enjoys theres[.]” Yes. It’s spelled “theres”.
  • The “doctorate” Muraca long touted to agape Pittsfield officials (Bianchi, Ruffer, Thurston, et. al.) was a meaningless piece of paper purchased from a diploma mill, the Feds say. What are the odds, ladies and gentlemen, that in high school, Muraca based his book report of Moby Dick on the Clasic Comics version? Call me “Ishbionano.”
  • Kudos to the good investigative work by colleague Bob Dunn of The Boring Broadsheet. THE PLANET isn’t shy to serve as the paper’s ex officio ombudsman when it needs a wood shampoo administered in the shed out back, so when the daily gets it right, we serve the interests of fair play and happily acknowledge the same. It’s refreshing to see this journal serving in its role as Fourth Estate, guardian of the people’s right to know.
  • The most insightful comment about le Mess Muraca came from a respondent to this address, pointing out that this most recent trouble involved private equity. If it had been public money, he said, we wouldn’t have heard a word about misappropriation of funds, manipulation, malfeasance, wire fraud, or any drop of it.  A source close to the case, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the private investors started getting mighty suspicious. You see, private lenders don’t like when their funds disappear into the great Beyond. When public officials and politicians spend public money, however, no one gives a spit. That’s standard operating procedure in Pittsfield.
  • Speaking of which, what ever happened to the tax breaks for Muraca’s now-belly-up Nuclea Biotechnologies? Have you heard Mayor Linda Tyer weighing in on that from her massage chair at the help of the Goodship Lollipop?
  • There’s no truth to the rumor that Muraca hails from Grafton.
  • Word on the street has several investors that civil suits against Muraca won’t be long in coming.
  • Inquiring minds wonder: If the SEC and the FBI are correct in their allegations, and Muraca did loan Zradi investor funds to keep her two restaurants in business, can the one greasy spoon still operating continue untouched?

There are miles to go before the characters involved in this soap opera sleep.

Why didn’t anyone in the city do a background check before giving someone a $510,000.00 tax break?

What I find amazing is that it only took the Eagle reporters a couple of phone calls to totally dismantle Muacca’s resume as one big hunk of BS. Yet for years not one reporter, politician, PEDA, City Hall, investors, et all, did not even bother to do a less extensive background check that a potential employee of a fast food restaurant is subjected to. And who gives millions of dollars to a guy who went bankrupt just months before?

My guess would be yes, unless there is evidence she was in on the whole Madoff like thing.

Line 28c of the SEC complaint states Muraca used at $65,000 to fund his fiancée’s restaurant, and that on some corporate documents he was listed as a “general partner of the corporation”. She most likely had some knowledge of where the money came from, and didn’t care. I’m pretty sure that the investors or the SEC can seek to put business liens on the restaurant, to recover the misappropriation. I’m sure Zradi has a lawyer ready to say she was an innocent victim, because you can bet the Feds are looking at her. I would bet her little teeny weeny Panini business will not survive.

You can’t fix stupid…..Mr. Muracca has shown that he was spending funds directly from company accounts…and that’s
just stupid.

Sometimes politicians or their friends do things that appear “stupid”. But many of them know they are untouchable as far as being prosecuted so they sometimes get arrogant and careless. Things they would normally do behind closed doors are done right out in the open.

Murrcas case will probably drag on for a few years and then dissolve like the exhaust from a tailpipe.

He had a small building next to Family Practice, 48 Elm St., called Nuclea Genetics Center. I can’t believe such a small building would have that large a property tax though.

I’m not aware if a $510 incentive for property taxes. However, the Massachusetts Life Science Center provided a $510,000 incentive for jobs. That required the company create and maintain 25 new jobs over five years. There was a provision allowing the center to take that money back if the jobs weren’t maintained. I have no idea how much of that was paid out, if any was taken back, or what happens with the bancruptcy. It is something I should check into, but it worth noting that they were in line with that incentive agreement when Muraca left Nuclea. He is currently not being charged for anything related to his work at Nuclea.

And how much is owed in rent to the Pathetic Economic Development Authority (PETA) for the office space where Muracas Mirage housed the fake computers?

And does anyone have links to the stories where TES and the other politicians were the “doc’s” praises?

These articles show the rise and fall of Nuclea. Notice in the second article comments section in which a blogger states that the whole Nuclea deal smells of fraud. Isn’t that the truth.

Does anybody in Pittsfield actually have real degrees? Between Muraca, Gaetani, and Pat, it’s like we will just make up what people want to hear.

We know that Shakes doesn’t have a real degree. The difference is that the education of regular people is checked (easily I might add) and regular people are put through a battery of criminal and background checks. Even for working in a retail job the average person is very scrutinized. Shouldn’t people that receive very large tax breaks from our government receive at least as much scrutiny? Local government and others associated with Nuclea didn’t do a good job in that regard.

Maybe when Mocaca goes to the Pen, he can be as useful as the Former Convict Birdman Of Alcatraz. Maybe they could set up a couple of cell blocks and he could do his experiments while serving time, heck, he could mayb e find the cure for hemorrhoids or something.

I was listening to PCTV Krol replacement Show with Bill and Chris Connell, man he gave it to Turocy and a couple good jabs to the Mayor also. He said she’ll be on the show tommorow, that should be interesting. Connell seems to make good points with the handicap Parking, the problem is downtown wants those space for someone else.

When Nuclea went belly up the office staff ransacked the building. Computers, desks, etc were taken/given for free to friends and families. Wouldn’t those assets be liquidated due to bankruptcy? Theft?

In other news……..Massachusetts – Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Tuesday that corrupt state employees sold drivers’ licenses and state identification cards to illegal immigrants who bought Puerto Rican documents on the black market, according to the DOJ. The operation perpetuated voter fraud because some of the false identities and addresses were used to vote in Boston.

But the Democrats say that voter fraud is just a myth! Why? Because without illegal aliens and dead people voting, the Democrats would never win another election.

Judicial Watch reports:

The scheme was operated by four taxpayer-funded employees at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) along with two outside accomplices who sold Puerto Rican documents to illegal aliens. All six were recently arrested and charged with aggravated identity theft. They probably never would have been caught if not for an anonymous tip received by the Massachusetts State Police nearly two years ago and there’s no telling how long the illicit scheme operated.

The anonymous letter said that a corrupt RMV employee was providing stolen identifications and drivers’ licenses to individuals seeking false IDs, the DOJ announcement states. An investigation ensued and authorities discovered that the four clerks were working with a document vendor and document dealer to provide the licenses and official state ID cards to illegal immigrants in exchange for cash. “The scheme involved several steps,” the DOJ says. First, the document dealer sold a Puerto Rican birth certificate and U.S. Social Security card to the document vendor for approximately $900. The vendor would then sell the stolen identities for more than $2,000 to illegal aliens—some with criminal records—seeking legitimate identities in Massachusetts. After the first layer of illicit transactions occurred, the counterfeit documents and false identities and addresses were used to fraudulently register clients to vote in Boston.

Illegal aliens would then bring the stolen identities to the RMV where the corrupt clerks worked and they would accept cash to illegally issue authentic documents, including drivers’ licenses and ID cards. “The clerks also accepted cash to use the RMV’s system to run queries, including Social Security number audits, to confirm that the identities the clients were stealing actually belonged to verifiable individuals,” the DOJ announcement states. The unscrupulous state workers face up to two years in prison, according to the feds, who won’t reveal the magnitude of the operation and how many authentic state documents were issued fraudulently to illegal aliens.

Judicial Watch has been aggressively pursuing voter fraud which is plaguing our nation. In fact, Judicial Watch warned the state of California recently that if they don’t clean up their voters rolls, they will sue them in Federal Court.

Just how bad is California? As TGP previously reported, there are eleven counties in California with more registered voters than voting age adults in the county.
Ten of the Eleven counties voted for Hillary Clinton.

Judicial Watch lays out the specifics: “[T]here were more total registered voters than there were adults over the age of 18 living in each of the following eleven (11) counties: Imperial (102%), Lassen (102%), Los Angeles (112%), Monterey (104%), San Diego (138%), San Francisco (114%), San Mateo (111%), Santa Cruz (109%), Solano (111%), Stanislaus (102%), and Yolo (110%).” The letter notes that the percentage in L.A. Country may be as high as 144%.

In June California Secretary of State Alex Padilla told the Trump administration the state will not cooperate with the election integrity commission because it would “only serve to legitimize the false and already debunked claims of massive voter fraud.”
