(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY MAY 20, 2019) — Progressives in Berkshire County have infected the criminal justice system with a notion euphemistically called “restorative justice.” It might better be called, “Give the minority criminal carte blanche.”

Today we reprint an item first published in The Hartford Courant over the weekend. We run it with commentary supplied by a free-speech website called Turtleboy. The article concerns the arrest of a Groton, CT middle school employee. THE PLANET shares this with our readers as an illustration of the type of activities that are going on in public middle schools such as Reid and Herberg in Pittsfield.

The article serves two other illustrative purposes. First, it shows graphically where “restorative justice” leads. Second, it can also serve as pushback to anyone who might believe our recent reporting on the middle schools was exaggerated. To satisfy all doubt, do a Google search for “Corriche Gaskin.” Better yet, research how public middle schools have become cesspools whose spawn will be passed along, with their doctored test scores, to the high schools. Then, if you have school-age children, get them the heck out of Pittsfield public school and into Catholic school.

The news item from the Hartford Courant is printed in bold face. Comments from Turtleboy appear in italics. We give fair warning that Turtleboy‘s comments are full-throated. If you don’t want it told with utter frankness, do not read. We think Turtleboy‘s comments reflect the inner disgust of good-hearted people, what many of us think about people like Gaskin but will not express because they are not politically correct. The commentary deals with the gravity of this intolerable situation with the most effective means: humor. They are scream-laughing funny precisely because the situation is so sad and infuriating.

Corriche Gaskin, suspect

“A former New London school employee who police say sexually assaulted a middle school student in his office and had consensual sex with two adult staff members — sometimes in school — has been fired, a school board member said Tuesday. Corriche Gaskin, 35, of Groton recorded the sexual acts and showed the cellphone videos to another middle school student, according to an arrest warrant. Gaskin, whose job was to prevent bullying and help students at Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School get along, was arrested last week for the second time in a month.”

Stop right there. Bennie Dover Middle School. Who in tarnation green lighted that one? Was Hugh Jass Middle already taken? If you hire this guy to work at Ben Dover Middle School. You best believe someone’s gonna get bent over. That’s just science.

“He was charged April 5 with risk of injury to a minor and May 7 with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree possession of child pornography, voyeurism with malice, dissemination of voyeuristic material and four counts of risk of injury to a minor, police said. Gaskin was placed on paid leave at the time of his April arrest, and now other school employees have been suspended, police said. The criminal investigation is still active, Capt. Brian Wright said Tuesday. Catala said he learned that three female staff members, including the school’s director, Alison Burdick, were placed on leave, as was the male administrator who supervised Gaskin, Lawrence Washington.”

You’ll never guess what Gaskin’s job title was….

“Gaskin’s job as a behavior, or “climate,” specialist was to prevent bullying and other problems between students in New London schools and oversee investigations into incidents of bullying, the school district said in April. Catala said it is an important role: “Climate coach is the first line of defense when there’s a problem with a student,” he said of the job done by Gaskin.”

Oh I see. He was just offering up his mutton dagger to teachers and students as part of his official duties as “climate specialist.” Nothing prevents bullying quite like a mouthful of Suge’s scrotum sugar. And how did schools ever survive without a “climate specialist?” If that isn’t an SJW buzzword position for “diversity hire” I don’t know what is. 

“According to the arrest warrant affidavit for Gaskin’s April 5 arrest, he “knowingly exposed [a student] to multiple pornographic videos.” The cellphone videos showed a student, a teacher and a paraprofessional performing a sex act on Gaskin in separate incidents during the 2016-2017 school year, the affidavit said.

“When police interviewed the student who appeared in the video, she told them she was in the 8th grade when Gaskin called her into his office for “no apparent reason” toward the end of the school year. He told her another student had told him the 8th grader thought he was cute, and he “pulled it out,” the affidavit said. The girl told police she “just did it,” and Gaskin told her not to tell anyone. She was unaware that Gaskin had recorded any part of the encounter, according to the affidavit.”

Imagine how much of a LOSER you have to be to pull an 8th grader into your classroom and tell her that you heard from ANOTHER 8th grader that she thinks you’re cute. Now imagine how sexually deranged you have to be to view this as a green light to whip out your porridge pumper and tell a child to go to town on it. THEN imagine how STUPID you have to be to secretly record this crime and then show it off to another 8th grader like she’s going to be impressed by it. I can understand an 8th grader giving in, since they’re victims who likely didn’t know any better. But the teachers too?

“A woman who taught at the middle school during the 2016-2017 school year told police she had been involved in a sexual relationship with Gaskin during which he “on multiple occasions … attempted to initiate sexual activity inside the school, specifically inside a lower-level supply closet and multiple times in her classroom,” the affidavit said. The woman, now 25, said she was not aware she was being taped and would not have consented to being recorded.”

Oh fuck off. You were getting stuffed by a kiddie diddler who kept trying to pound you in the broom closet. Yet you kept riding him anyway, and now you’re acting surprised that he taped your ass. At least the other teacher just came out and admitted she’s a two bit whore who likes to get drilled by Mr. Creepy:

“A woman who was a paraprofessional during the same school year said she was aware she was being taped and that Gaskin had “numerous” stored videos in his cellphone depicting such sex acts. That woman, now 21, told police “Gaskin did this often and it was ’his thing,’ ” the arrest warrant affidavit said.”

His thing was recording himself banging everything with a pulse in the middle school where his job was to prevent bullying. And she fucked him anyway. Good thing she’s pursuing a career in education.
Oh, and just to top this all off…..

“Officials knew Gaskin had a federal drug conviction when they hired him as a paraprofessional a few years ago but they hired him anyway.”

Yup, he was a drug dealer before getting a job in the schools. But they hired him anyway because these liberal school districts are obsessed with buzzwords like “criminal justice reform.” After all, selling drugs is a “non violent” crime. Why shouldn’t you be able to pick up the pieces and pursue life as a normal, law abiding citizen after being arrested for selling drugs? He didn’t exactly hide the fact that he was a complete douche canoe on social media either.

The fact of the matter is that this guy was hired to teach at this school to be a “climate specialist” because the powers that be wanted to feel good about themselves for giving an ex-con a second chance. Then he went and raped an 8th grader and made another 8th grader watch a video of it. Yay progress!!

Incident similar to this occur, and are occurring, in Pittsfield middle schools. You won’t find out about them because there is a cloak of silence in this city, a mighty piece of fabric that doesn’t have to worry about an investigative press or a criminal justice system that truly cares about justice or public safety for citizens.
