CRITICAL RACE THEORY, IN PROMOTING RASICT GROUP-THINK, IS A BLACK PERSON’S WORST ENEMY

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION JUNE 25-7, 2021) — Today, THE PLANET presents part two from our abridged dictionary. On Monday, we took on Cancel Culture. Today, it Critical Race Theory.

What is Critical Race Theory?

Again, we begin from perhaps the most reliable objective source out there. From Britannica:

critical race theory (CRT), intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour. Critical race theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.

Got that?

“Inherently racist.”

———- ooo ———-

CRT is premised on eight propositions. It …

  • … believes racism is present in every aspect of life, every relationship, and every interaction and therefore has its advocates look for it everywhere.
  • … relies upon “interest convergence” (white people only give black people opportunities and freedoms when it is also in their own interests) and therefore doesn’t trust any attempt to make racism better.
  • … is against free societies and wants to dismantle them and replace them with something its advocates control.
  • … only treats race issues as “socially constructed groups.” There are no individuals in Critical Race Theory
  • … believes science, reason, and evidence are a “white” way of knowing and that storytelling and lived experience are a “black” alternative. For this reason, science, reason, and common sense — since they are “white — which hurt everyone, especially black people.
  • … rejects all potential alternatives (e.g., colorblindness) as forms of racism, making itself the only allowable game in town.
  • … acts like anyone who disagrees with it must being doing so for racist and white supremacist reasons, even if those people are black.
  • … cannot be satisfied, so it becomes a kind of activist black hole that threatens to destroy everything it is introduced into.

———- ooo ———-

As you can see, CRT takes as its major premise this unprovable and therefore unsupported assertion: Racism is ordinary, not aberrational. Since CRT “reasons” from this faulty premise, each of its conclusions, while they might be logically valid, are not true. Common sense tells us that if  you look for racism in everything, everywhere, by everyone, you will find it. Actually, “find” it, because what you’re actually doing is creating a self-fulfilling, tautological fantasy that to you will seem “true.”

Allow THE PLANET a few comments on the eight premises above.

  • No socio-cultural phenomenon, including racism, is in everything, everywhere, every aspect of life. Yes, racism exists, but not in the way identified by CRT.
  • CRT was introduced in the 1970s. It remained an obscure and insignificant part of academia not because of racism but because of the inconclusive and ridiculous the way it depicted the social, cultural, and psychological motivations of individuals. It would have died an unmourned death, except the internet and 24/7 cable TV news came along. Social media and a draconian “woke”ness on campus brought CRT into a polluted backwater, where eager social engineers (aka, “activists” … aka “zealots” … aks “gimme groups”) took it into the mainstream through their cheap but pervasive electronic pulpits.
  • CRT opposes a free, let along freed, society. It seeks to maintain and increase existing inequities, and where there are none or too few, to create new ones. Examples: identity politics, simplistic world and cultural views, “equity” programs that operate, admit, and hire on the basis of skin color (i.e., CRT is classically racist), affirmative action.
  • CRT is against individualism. It does not recognize individuals. Rather, it sees people as first belonging to categorical classifications of race and gender. It can only function by cattle prodding the herd.
  • CRT despises reason, common sense, facts, and data. In fact, the theory derides scientific method of inquiry as the product of racist white men and a product of evil Western civilization. Never mind the brilliant discoveries of Copernicus, Galileo, Da Vinci, and all the others.
  • CRT inflicts Cancel Culture on anyone who disagrees with its adherents, even if the person is black. A black person who disagrees with critical race theory is an “Uncle Tom.”
  • CRT sees everything — literally all the events happening — in racial terms. Its motto is “All race, all the time.” Do you see the supreme irony here? CRT claims to be progressive, but it goes directly against classic liberalism, the kind that drove the civil rights movement in the 1950s and 60s. Classic liberalism found race less important, diminished its role in society, and as a result opened doors for the first time in a serious way for blacks and women. Martin Luther Kind said it best in his remark about the content of character meaning much more than the color of one’s skin. As a result, the individuals in those groups made unprecedented leaps by almost every social measure. CRT is reversing all that, and deliberately. True liberals and progressives should be CT’s greatest enemies. If not, they are being duped.
  • CRT will never be appeased or satisfied. That’s not how blackmail works. Experience has shown, now that there is enough evidence, that workplaces, schools, and other institutions that practice CRT experience decline from rot on the inside. The method is roughly the same: (a) The institution, usually through HR, adopts CRT practices … (b) activists make demands. … (c) If the demands aren’t satisfied, the CRTists make trouble. If the demands are satisfied, they are followed by more demands. Example: the equity, diversion, and inclusion nonsense that will add three pricey jobs within the city of Pittsfield. You think it’s going to stop there?

As you can see, CRT is probably the worst social movement for black people since the BLM Movement.

All Lives Matter?

No.

THE PLANET says Decent Lives Matter.

Have a great weekend, everybody.

Critical Pittsfield politics Theory: Only a small group of Pittsfield voters participate in state and local governments because most people either don’t care or know all to well that they will face retribution, including losing their job, vicious rumors, false reports to the police, and the like. When there is a state and/or local election in Pittsfield, the fix is always in by the incestuous one political (Democratic) party group of insider political hacks. Wealthy Ward 4 voters in Pittsfield decide each and every election in Pittsfield. The other six Wards don’t matter or are insignificant in citywide elections. The politicians in Pittsfield do NOT live in the real Pittsfield of daily gunfire, Level 5 (or failing) inner city Pittsfield public schools, poverty, underclass, working poor, subsidized housing, homelessness, violent crime, and so on. The Mayor of Pittsfield – the Lovely Linda Tyer – lives in a wealthy gated community near the Pittsfield border with Hancock. Former Mayor Jimmy Ruberto lives in Naples, Florida full time, and upper class Lenox, Massachusetts part time. Pittsfield State Representative Trippy Country Buffet sent her children to Lenox Public Schools. Chrome Dome Adam Hinds recently purchased a $690,000 home in Amherst, Massachusetts, which is NOT in his legislative district. PAC Man Peter “Lobbyist” Larkin lives in a wealthy suburb outside of Worcester, Massachusetts. To be clear, Pittsfield’s politicians – past and present – are DISCONNECTED from the real Pittsfield, Massachusetts! On Boston news, Pittsfield is called Lenox’s “ugly sister”. The New York Times real estate news articles says the Berkshires are hot, but to avoid Pittsfield’s real estate market. North Street is called “Social Services Alley”. Artist Gregory Crewdson shows large photos of post industrial Pittsfield as “A City in Decay” in museums and upscale art galleries in London, England, L.A., and NYC. Pittsfield is one of the most economically unequal areas in the state and nation because there are little to no living wage jobs in Pittsfield for the average working class family. The Boston Federal Reserve Bank did a grant-funded study exploring why inner city Pittsfield neighborhoods are so poor generation after generation. Matt Kerwood is literally sitting on tens of millions in his slush funds and Biden Buck$, but he still raised city and public school spending by the always predictable 5 percent on Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski. Inner City Pittsfield residents fear for their lives because of daily shootings, gangs, drugs, violent crime, and the like, yet they are always paying City Hall higher municipal taxes and fees for ineffective and lousy public services. The Berkshire delegation to Boston’s Statehouse are all useless rubber stamp political hacks who do nothing but DISSERVICES to Pittsfield and Berkshire County. Pittsfield’s U.S. Representative in the U.S. House is called PAC Man Richie Neal because he only represents K Street corporate lobbyist firms that have nothing to do with the people who live in his Western Massachusetts legislative district. Pittsfield’s U.S. Senator Ed Markey really lives in an upscale suburb in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He ran for reelection last year of 2020 promising to save the world from global warming knowing that his $100 trillion Green New Deal was nothing but more hot air that will never pass into law in the Swamp. Pittsfield’s U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren says she wants to save Main Street from Wall Street, but look at who is winning that class war as Wall Street closed at record highs again today (24-June-2024)! Governor Charlie Baker has yet to take responsibility for the Holyoke Soldiers Home debacle where 76 Veterans died of Covid-19, and now he is promoting disingenuous gimmicks like his 2 month long sales tax holiday proposal to bolster his image for next year’s 2022 reelection to the state’s corner office. Joe Biden has spent $6 trillion federal dollars in his first 100 days, and now he is bragging that he will soon pass his $1 trillion infrastructure bill. How many trillions of federal dollars will Joe Biden spend in 2021? I hope that Hunter Biden isn’t managing the federal budget.

All true.I would suggest that it take woke wealthy and very enlightened rich folks to be part of the grassroot change. The Pittsfield I know had alcohol running in its veins.I will say off hand there were a hundred bars and wealthy controlled liquor licenses. The city made its living off the military contracts brought here by Conte…..We are a better city today than that polluted cesspool of East street and the poisoned Lakewood section of our city.Pittsfield has survived and is overall a nice place to live.Pittsfield lost 10,000 union jobs and survived.People are discovering its a beautiful urban environment.Pittsfields biggest problem is the elitist at large seats giving Ward 3 and 4 total control.Get rid of the at large seats and it changes the playing field. The second problem is a lack of leadership.A mayor who does not respond daily to shootings is insubordination. She learned this tactic from Rueberto.Denial is unwoke unenlightened and ignorant to the history of Extreme violent drug business based in Pittsfield that supply our drug addicted Berkshire residents….We need a council of just 7 wards who understand economic ability to pay its taxes. There are 5 wards in Pittsfield who are wasting their time voting…..Mayors through the 1980s had a cash cow in GE and now we need a mayor and council who can do arithmetic. We need leadership in the office of mayor……any FOOL can SPEND money. In many ways our councilors are math denying and Pittsfield needs to be math woke, math enlightened…..Tyer needs to get out in public….Pittsfield residents want street lines painted.Curbing fixed that plows destroy. That just maintenance not done.Pick up all park litter evefyday.Sweep mainstreets all the time……Pittsfield needs 1 high school.Taconic high qualifies by student population in division 3.The expense of running 2 high schools is off the charts an its now time to plan to close PHS building.Pick a date say withing 10 years or 7 years…..

I will put my commentary about Pittsfield politics in JON MELLE terms. Jon Melle grew up in Pittsfield during its decline, but in a nice neighborhood near Egremont Elementary School, while hearing stories about post World War 2 Pittsfield through the 1960s. Jon Melle knows that North Street is called “Social Services Alley” because the local underclass and working poor are dependent on welfare, social services, and disability programs; Jon Melle is a disabled Veteran with his dog who is an Emotional Support Animal. Jon Melle spent his young adult years in a state of mental illness with anxiety and depression because Jon Melle never had a chance to find gainful employment earning a living wage in Pittsfield/Berkshire County. To make matters worse, Jon Melle’s father was a Pittsfield (area) politician when Jon Melle was 20.5 – nearly 25 years of age over from the Spring of 1996 – July 1, 2000. Jon Melle experienced Pittsfield politics first hand, it was (and still is) ugly. In 2021, Jon Melle reads Dan Valenti’s blog and the Berkshire Eagle online about his native hometown of Pittsfield, Massachusetts from his new hometown of Amherst, New Hampshire. Jon Melle reads that inner city Pittsfield residents fear for their lives from daily shootings, violent crime, gangs, drugs, and the like. Jon Melle reads that Matt Kerwood has huge slush funds, along with tens of millions of dollars in Biden Buck$, but he (Matt Kerwood) still raises city spending and municipal taxes and fees by 5 percent per year. Jon Melle knows that the wealthy and politically-connected control Pittsfield politics, especially wealthy Ward 4 voters. Jon Melle knows that Mayor Linda Tyer lives in a wealthy gated community far away from the real economically distressed Pittsfield. Jon Melle understands that Jon Melle will never be able to afford to live in either wealthy Ward 4 or the Lovely Linda’s wealthy gated community neighborhood of millionaires that is close to the Hancock border. Jon Melle understands that Jon Melle would have better odds of winning the lottery jackpot than having gainful employment with a living wage job in Pittsfield; those are horrible odds. Jon Melle concludes that Jon Melle should live and stay in Amherst, New Hampshire along with his relocated family from Pittsfield, Massachusetts because otherwise Jon Melle would have to live in or near inner city Pittsfield and Jon Melle would be right back to square one with recurring mental illness episodes of anxiety and depression because Jon Melle would be unhappy and unsafe in the real Pittsfield.

I can walk fine. I am a disabled Veteran for my psychiatric condition. I don’t smoke. I am fortunate that I get to avoid North Street and other proverbial “Social Services Alleys”. While I would decline to ride and/or walk with Barry at 3 am around inner city Pittsfield, I would like to hear his (Barry’s) thoughts on Matt Kerwood’s creative Accounting schemes in Pittsfield politics that screws over the proverbial Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski family out of their hard earned money. But, I am sure he (Barry) would take his wife’s side on the issue because his wife is none other than the Lovely Linda Tyer – the best Mayor of Pittsfield EVER!

I couldn’t agree more. Well written and it’s nicely spelled out. In today’s day and age, the only thing holding a person back, is themselves.

And for TSC and Flogging Moll….I mean Barry, I’ll give you the Cliff Notes version:

Dan just pulled back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz. Low and behold, behind the curtain was Shirley Edgerton, spewing her racial hatred to the children of Pittsfield Public Schools. This is what she’s teaching. Unfortunately, this isn’t a nightmare. It’s true.

She conned the gullible Linda Tyer into a do nothing job at the tax payers expense. But at least Pittsfield is vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive.

Really sad the direction America has turned to.

Early 60s good progress on getting past hardcore discrimination. MLK had a policy of non-violence, that made people take notice and try to change for the better. Then later 60s turned to what is going on now, riots, that just stirs up more hatred.

We have one race, the human race, but many people refuse to be/can’t be good humans. Good and bad, in all races colors and creeds. Judge people by their actions and deeds, not what they look like.

CRT is just swatting a hornets nest and expecting a good outcome.

Thanks Dan. your explanation of Critical Race Theory is frighteningly true. They don’t want a free society. The far left activists behind CRT want us enslaved to their demands. They can twist everything into being about race and inevitably they make race the only thing that matters. Obama was just bragging that 90% of his administration is now in the Biden administration and will finish the Marxist/Communist agenda begun during his presidency. This is why Obama has been putting down Americans for worrying about CRT. He knows that the teaching of CRT is needed to finish the job of changing everything about our society and Obama and his acolytes do NOT want a free society and this is why CRT must be REMOVED from every aspect of our society which frighteningly even now includes our military.

Pat, Obama would never say, or believe, that his administration pursued a Marxist/Communist agenda.

Notice that the kltpzyxm doesn’t deat with the arguments by personalizing the argument. What exactly is the “truth that lies in the middle”? The CRT advocates never ever admit a “middle”, they believe that you are either “anti-racist” or “racist” and there is no middle ground. They think that if you argue there is a middle ground you are a “racist”. This is the argument of Ibim Kendi who Dan so clearly summarizes. Kendi says kltpzyxm is a “racist’ for seeking “truth in a middle ground”

Obama has a long association with radical groups. He shouldn’t have been elected as president with such a radical background and association with groups that want to overthrow governments. Content of character is more important than race. I wouldn’t vote for any woman just because she is a woman unless I felt she had a good character and wasn’t a member of some crazy organization that wants to take over the world. Character should matter far above race and gender. Look at how many women we have in political office today and the country continue to go downhill under their leadership because they are not good leaders. They were voted into office just because they are women and not because their ideas are any good.

Donald Trump who wants Americans to retain their freedoms vs. Barack Obama who wants to overthrow the current system for some Marxist/Communist experiment that has done nothing but cause misery to so many people throughout history? In one scenario millions will suffer and die and the entire world will eventually go totalitarian if America goes down. In the other scenario America is still the leader of the world and we avoid one world government. Yes, content of character matters not petty bickering about somebody tweeting too much or the news media destroying a person (Trump) because he isn’t radical enough for them.

If you were black, you’d understand that everything you do – no matter how small or insignificant: work, family, love, socialization, community, economic standing – is measured with a black ruler, no matter the color of the hand holding it.

There is not one aspect of a black person’s existence that is exclusive of being black.

John White is a good Dad. (Period)
Joe Black is a good Dad. (That’s nice knowing how black families are.)

John White is a lawyer. (Awesome)
Joe Black is a lawyer. (Wow, he must have really worked hard to succeed considering his circumstances (being black)).

John White has two girlfriends. (Wow, he must be quite the ladies man)
Joe Black has two girlfriends. (Damn shame, but you know black men are dogs).

John White will never be measured first by being white.

Joe Black will never NOT be measured first by being black.

It does not matter the time, place, community, gender, or wealth. A black person will always be considered in the light of being black before anything else.

You mean like your leader, Joe Biden, describing Obama as being “clean” which therefore means he is a good person. Joe Biden and his family sure act racist in so many things that they say and do especially Joe and Hunter with his recent name calling of his lawyer.

America is a society that voted in an African American president twice, has bi-racial couples throughout the country, and has people of all races in every profession. We are an example to the world of how people of all races can succeed in America. It’s the Democrat run cities in this country that are disaster areas for non-white people because they have been intentionally run that way.

Humans are humans. There will always be prejudices and bias s. Humanity has never been close to perfect and never will be. Some animals do not get along with each other all the time either. Believe it or not there are some whites who do not like some other whites. Also, there may be some black people who do not like other black people. In my life as a white/white American, people have often asked me where I came from. I’ve been asked about my ethnicity. I’ve been asked about my hair, my distinguishing features – I was never offended. Why would I be, I don’t know. It’s normal banter, imo. That is what life is for. If someone can’t be open to selfness, & “I am this person” – reality check – if you’re being treated differently it is because people are ASSHOLES. not because of “person”. “We can’t MAKE people be nice”, so just stop. You get the stink face, it’s not because of you, it’s because of them. Keep it moving. Simple, do not send children the to school, because you know, assholes.

Anyone who cares about their kid, wouldn’t send them off. Not in this day/age.

CRT can be traced back to Antonio Gramsci who was the inspiration of the Frankfurt Scholl. Critical theory came from the Frankfurt school. The mission of the Frankfurt school was cultural Marxism. The neo commies at the Frankfurt school figured out that the class struggle angle wasn’t working.. Capitalism was improving peoples lives. They need a new angle. Cultural Marxism was born. They pushed racial strife, sexual strife, In short anything that would tear at Western civilization and Christianity.. The latest incarnation of this insanity is CRT. It is Marxist. It is dangerous.

CRT despises reason? One need look no further than Planet Valenti in order to find a bunch of individuals who despise reason.

Who among the readers of “Planet Valenti” welcomes the challenge of proving that we live on a spinning wet ball, aka, a planet?

Can one imagine that such an individual as myself, espousing the claim that this world is not a spinning wet ball, would not be challenged over the matter, as easy as the “reasonable people” would claim it would be to send me packing?

Planet Valenti is where the so called reasonable people want to be. In fact, these individuals need to be on Planet Valenti, isn’t that right? If they weren’t on Planet Valenti, where would they be? Psychologically speaking, they’d be over the edge, in a state of absolute confusion, anger, resentment and ultimately find themselves completely withdrawn from the sick society which fomented this monumental lie, and of course, Planet Valenti would be a distant memory, for, who among us would look to it for a voice of reason?

The only thing that the reasonable people at The Planet can do, is, point their finger and laugh at individuals like me, because, they certainly don’t have the intelligence, reason and fortitude necessary to prove that we live on a spinning wet ball.

The Planet is a fraud, not wise, whatsoever

The lies that people call truths in order to feel better know no bounds.

I have an uncle who came to my house one day with his mask on. I told him that he didn’t need to be wearing that mask around me or my family. He insisted on wearing the mask because, in his words, “I believe in the science”. I pointed out to my uncle that he wasn’t a “scientist”. I had to inform him, because he apparently didn’t know, that what he meant was that he believed the politicians and the media who were telling him that it was science. He became agitated when I said these things to him. What else could he do? He certainly wasn’t going to dispute what I said, just like nobody on this forum will attempt to prove we live on a spinning wet ball, because, the mere idea is outlandish and doesn’t hold up under the least bit of scrutiny lol

Let’s be honest here. I just told you and everyone else who reads, that ad hominem is the go to tactic for avoiding the truth, which incidentally happens to amount to taking the low road, and you wasted no time in proving me correct.

You and most of your readers are really no different than my uncle. You convince yourself whatever you need to, in order to make your way through the duat.

Planet? No, sorry Dan, it’s a nice idea though. Your entire world hinges upon it, am I right? What would you do, where would you be without planet? I’ve already taken it from you, you know it, and I know it, and really, that’s all that matters, because, that’s what it’s all about, right? What we will, or, will not do in order to evolve. You stay where you’re at, ok? But in the end, don’t blame the nut, because, the nut is merely opportunity knocking at your door, and the fear is your issue, not mine.

Nut

Actually, I do believe your world hinges upon “planet”

Planet is of such significance to you that you use the word to identify your forum. It’s a knock off of the daily planet, which depicts a ball earth as it’s identifying symbol. You yourself believe that we live on a planet, or in other words, a supersonic spinning wet ball.

You’d defend this notion, if you could, but you can’t, and this fact is troubling to you, although you of course would never admit to that. And why wouldn’t you be troubled by this? Someone like you desires to be seen as intelligent and reasonable, and also to be seen as fairly credible. But how does the upholding of this image jive with “Planet Valenti”, when there’s no such thing as a supersonic spinning wet ball, except in your head?

I asked you to give everyone your number one proof that we live on a spinning wet ball and you said, “Copernicus”.

Copernicus is not here, so, I’m not challenging him on the matter, I’m challenging you. I’m asking you to put your best foot forward and walk with me, so that we can see what the Planet really is. It’s easy to manipulate little children by showing them a model ball earth and sayin, “look here children, this is where we live”. Children, for the most part, are not capable of challenging adults on an intellectual level, so, the adults get a free pass to run them over. It’s shameful, shallow

Spin, and curvature. It’s an uphill battle, Dan. Can we do this? What will we discuss first? The supersonic spin, along with the hurtling along at breakneck speeds as we are dragged along by the sun in a perpetual spiral? Or, the curvature? Maybe you know someone at the college who can give you the mathematical figures? We can figure out how many linear miles it would take for the earths curvature to swallow up a building that’s say, 200 feet tall.

Nut

But I’m not talking about pink teapots, am I? What you’re doing by throwing a pink tea pot into the mix is manipulative.
The pink tea pot has now been firmly planted into the minds of the readers here on your planet. They already know that you think I’m nuts, because you’ve said as much, and pink tea pots orbiting around Jupiter is exactly that, it’s nuts. And since my moniker is nut, and pink tea pots have been planted into the minds of your readers, you get to escape out the side door without making an attempt at proving me wrong. It’s a cheap magic trick, slight of hand, and it only works on dull individuals.

I’m more than prepared to listen to what YOU have to say about the million or so problems associated with spin and curvature. I’d have the same set of challenges for your boy Copernicus, but, he’s not here.

No more slight of hand magic tricks and ad hominem attacks, ok?

Why respond to the nut? Why insult the nut? Must be that there’s a deep psychological reason why. In fact, it’s all psychologically driven, right? What else would it be, except for spirit? And on that level, the stakes are much higher.

Do you have even the slightest notion of what an individual who’s been led so far astray goes through after coming face to face with such truths? Perhaps you don’t, and you don’t want to either. So, where does that really leave you? Where?

Give all your devoted followers the one absolute proof to demonstrate that spinning wet ball is true. Go for it Dan! That one big one

If you don’t know what Copernicus would have said about the helicopter scenario (spin), then perhaps you know what he had to say about the curvature aspect of the spinning wet ball.

If the airplane pilot levels out at thirty five thousand feet in altitude, and he aims to maintain that altitude, isn’t the pilot going to be in the constant act of “coming in for a landing”?

For if he was not in the constant act of coming in for a landing ( descending ), then he’d fly straight out into “space”, correct?

So, which scenario do you feel more comfortable with schooling me on, the supersonic spin, or, the curve?

The ball is in your court lol

Hey Nut, let’s give The Planet a little more credit than that.

It’s true that Planet bloggers are totally ad hominem, because, as you say, they evaluate arguments not by facts and logic, but by the identity of the person who made them.

But The Planet performs a very important function: if they weren’t venting on The Planet, they would be even angrier about getting less and less of a shrinking pie.

That’s why we need to make it to the next, red, spinning ball — Mars — to continue the advance of our civilization. My father recognized this problem, resulting in my arrival on this blue planet.

You will never prove that you live on a spinning wet ball by merely stating that you do

Dan Valenti is a gate keeper. His job is to provide a forum where people can discuss issues, which issues are provided by the sick establishment. He’s also in place as an information drag net. Information is a hot commodity, very valuable, and he reports to the front if need be. Dan is not what he seems.

Dan can’t afford to get neck deep in a truly philosophical discussion, because, this society which reared him is anti philosophy. Conformity, or, blind obedience is what makes it all tick, and blind obedience is dangerous and stupid. This is why I can expect ad hominem attacks on his site. Even Dan himself engages in that sort of practice.

Does Dan really believe that by providing the names of people who may or may not existed hundreds of years ago, he’s successfully made an argument? Yes, he does.

Dan believes that he lives on a spinning wet ball because that’s what he was told to believe by the anti philosophical society in which he lives. This society is unraveling now as a natural course, and anybody with half a brain can understand why.

I’m here writing these things down on this forum because I’m moved to do it. I’m the child that says, look, the emperor has no clothes. In Dan’s spinning wet ball world, he’s the emperor, and everyone can see he’s naked.

I’m also here because Dan has for whatever reason tolerated my presence. Only Dan knows why he wouldn’t block someone who makes him look silly. Perhaps he’s a bit conflicted, like most everyone, including myself. I want to do the right thing by people, but I often come up short, human nature.

When the spinning wet ball lie was first brought to my attention, I wouldn’t even consider it, because, I knew where I was, and I was on a supersonic spinning wet ball hurtling through space.
Some time later, for whatever reason, I decided to give it a chance, and that was the official end of my disillusionment.

It’s a cold hard slap in the face when you look at it with an open mind and you discover that you played like a sucker by the least among us. Eventually the anger dissipates, and your newfound perspective aids you in seeing right through all the rest of the filthy bullshit that’s been served up for you to consume. It’s still an awful feeling though, to look around at all the lost souls who are on the receiving end of a good old fashioned spiritual beat down at the hands of psychopathic fiends. When you see everyone wear a mask, and getting the jab, and the children, oh the children, still getting thrown into the proverbial nest grinder called public education, on the receiving end of a fear based society.

Sad, very sad

It is clear you may not be fond of Dan, his bloggers and what he’s doing, and you do seem cynical about our present existence, but I can’t figure out whether you actually don’t believe we are sitting on a wet spinning ball.

Where do you actually stand?

Nut
Nut
Reply to  Kal-el

Right, well, when I was 12, I possessed the knowledge that I lived on a spinning wet ball. I didn’t believe, I knew. But how did I know? I knew because that’s simply what I was told, and I accepted it as the truth, no questions asked. I suppose I didn’t ask any questions because I didn’t care, probably like most kids.

I became interested in digging for truth a short time after 9/11. Like most people, I believed the official narrative, for a short while anyway. I ultimately came across some information about 9/11 which I found a bit alarming, and so, I began to look into the matter further. Whatever happened on that day, who am I to say? What I can say is that we were sold a horrendous bill of goods, and too many people bought that bill, and that fact turns out to be most unfortunate. As far as I can tell, this phenomenon, whereby, most people accept what they are told by those who they perceive to be the authority, is the end result of systematic conditioning.

This 9/11 revelation caused me to delve deeply into many aspects of the world we live in, in which, deceptive practices are employed against the people. I discovered a long time ago that there exists a core group of powerful individuals who are largely in control of the manner in which the affairs of this world are conducted. At the time, I was unaware that it was possible for these individuals to pull off a psyop against the masses so large as the spinning wet ball.

When I first came across the idea that we didn’t live on a spinning wet ball, it was presented as, flat earth. I immediately discarded the idea because I thought it was ridiculous. I didn’t even give it a chance, thought it was just stupid. About six months passed, and it surfaced again, and, this time, just for fun, I decided to listen to this presentation. After approximately 30 minutes, I was no longer laughing. I actually felt a bit aggravated and confused. By the time the presentation was finished, I knew there was a problem, for sure. It also dawned on me, in light of this information, that I had never ever once questioned the spinning wet ball.

I’ve known now for a few years that we don’t live on a spinning wet ball. The scenario is likened unto 9/11. I don’t know exactly what happened on 9/11, but I know we were lied to. I don’t know what this place is where we live, but I know it’s not a spinning wet ball.

It’s not a surprise at all that nobody is gonna truly step up on this forum and provide indisputable proof that we live on a spinning wet ball, because, nobody can, nobody will, because it’s trash. It really speaks to the unconscious condition of humanity at this time.

Mentioning one word, such as, Copernicus, is just absolutely lame and anybody who attempts to take this simple minded approach is dead in the water before they even start. No way, no how, end of story.

There’s always been a core group of individuals who think of themselves as the rightful custodians of humanity. All things considered, they’ve done a good job of keeping the lid on knowledge, particularly knowledge of our true past. Humanity, in the past, lived in societies where deep knowledge of the nature of this world was known, by all. It afforded them to live in a way which was quite different than how humanity lives now. They harnessed electromagnetic energy from the sun, in essence, free energy. They built their world on a grand and exquisite scale. These people would have found the notion that they were hurtling through space on a supersonic wet ball absolutely mad. Their society came to an abrupt end by way of massive environmental upheavals. As to why or how those who emerged out of the ruins managed to conceal the truth, I’m still thinking on that, but, whatever, they decided to try things a different way this time around. These upheavals happen like clockwork, and we’re all gonna go through another one in short order. When humanity get close to the upheaval, humanity’s consciousness begins to change, some for the worse, some for the better. The cause of the upheaval, both in terms of our natural environment, and our conscious mind, is, electromagnetic in nature. It’s all tied together. This world of opposition in which we live, it provides us opportunity, as divine beings, flesh and blood souls. Everyone is now lining up into their prospective conscious mind, of their choosing. Some are shutting down, choosing ignorance and death, and others are lighting up, in preparation for the new world. My role is to reveal, my choice. My boys will survive, they have good strong and brave hearts, even in spite of me.

Supersonic spinning wet ball is ridiculous, ignorant and does not hold up under the least bit of genuine inquiry. Just take a look and see for yourself. Once you know, you can never go back, that’s a fact. Anyone who dares to look best be prepared to have your ass upended, for a while anyway. And if you have kids, if the mask nonsense was not enough for you to pull em out of school, you’ll think hard and consider drawing the line at supersonic spinning wet ball.

Remarkable. Thank you for the long detailed response. Now we know where you stand.

And how do you know that you are not the star of ‘The Truman Show’?

It is not the case that it is impossible to provide proof that we are on a spinning wet ball. In the non-distant future, I could hitch a ride on one of the the planned Bezos/Branson/Musk space shots and return with pictures of what we observe. But you would then probably claim that I am part of the conspiracy.

It is possible to interview folks involved with the US moon landings including pictures like ‘earthrise’ and present all of that as evidence. But you would probably then claim that all of that evidence is contrived.

So in one sense you are correct: no one can provide YOU with convincing evidence that we are on a supersonic spinning wet ball.

But you are incorrect in the sense that most others would consider it sufficient evidence.

I like the way you think and write, and hope that your cynicism does not place you in peril. And it is true that there are those in positions of power who are able to perform analysis on brain waves from a distance and figure out more that we can imagine about what our cognitive propensities are.

But turnabout is fair play: can you provide evidence that 9/11 is not what most of us believe it is?

Ok, now we’re talking!

Dan, first of all, when one sets out to travel west or east, either by air, sea or land, they do so by constantly referencing their direction against the attractor, or, what you call north. The needle only points in one direction at all times, towards the attractor. This is useful as far as navigation goes, but the presence of an attractor does not indicate a sphere, not at all.

On a flat surface, I can locate the direction of the attractor with a compass, obviously. With that heading known, I can travel directly due east or west while constantly referencing the attractor. At some point, depending upon how far away from the attractor I am, I WILL make a perfect 360 degree circle and end up right back where I started. This is an indisputable fact and one only needs to think it through.

You are wrong about what you claimed. You are correct, in that, you can travel around a ball while maintaining a perfect east or west heading and arrive right back where you started, but the same can be done on a flat surface, so, the idea that it can only be done on a ball is factually wrong.

You don’t know anything about a South Pole, you merely believe in that idea because that’s what was taught to you. The only thing you can know for sure is that the compass needle points to the attractor.

For the sake of argument, your 8000 mile journey, on the ball earth, doesn’t need to be 8000 miles. What if you were very close to the North Pole? Your distance traveled would depend upon your latitude at the onset.

Dan, what’s with the inundation of information? Did you do that that on purpose? To the unsuspecting individual, all that information is impressive on its face. To those in the know, it can be considered a manipulative tactical offense used for the purpose of convolution, muddying the water. If you wanted to keep the water clean and clear, you’d respond to my calling out your misinformed claim , namely, the claim that it’s only possible to travel east or west and end up where you started if you were on a ball.

I think a good starting point is a simple concept that can be easily understood by most people, which is, you don’t need to be on a ball in order to travel east or west and end up where you started from. Can you at least admit that you were wrong about that claim you made? I think your readers need to understand that you are just a man, like any other, and you can be wrong, even when you think you’re so right.

Just so I understand what you’re saying, you’re claiming, again, that the only way you can travel east or west and end up back where you started is on a ball?
And this same scenario can’t be done on a flat plane?

If this is your final position, I’ll again state that you are not seeing the scenario clearly, or, perhaps you have neglected to actually think it through.

Place a fairly strong magnet on your table, or, on your floor. Get your compass out, and place the compass close enough to that magnet, so that, the magnet is the influence on the compass, as opposed to the “North Pole” being the influence on the compass. Once you confirm that you have accomplished this first step, with the needle pointing to the magnet (the attractor), move the compass slightly “east”. Continue doing this in small increments, insuring that you are continually confirming that your compass needle is always pointing towards the magnet. When you’ve made a complete 360 degree circle around that magnet, on your make shift flat plane, can you honestly tell me that this does not constitute as science? And after you accomplish this very simple experiment, are you gonna want to call that magnet the North Pole? And will you still refuse to acknowledge that your claim is false?

And why would I want to start jumping through the many hoops you provided for me? You made a solid claim with regards to the ball earth being the only possible explanation for a traveler to go east or west and ultimately end up back where they started. You appear to be attempting to ignore the fact that you made that claim, and it’s obviously false. Other people are noticing what you’re doing here as well, and not just me. You do realize this, don’t you?

The Truman show and The Matrix serve their purpose. There are those behind the scenes that so want us to know the nature of our reality. But do they want to cast pearls before swine? The truth is not for everyone. It’s only for those who seek it out. And the truth isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be either. Early on, while seeking truth, I figured the truth would set me free, because, that’s what I had heard, and that sounded nice, feeling as though I was lost, or, being held down by some immovable force hell bent against me. At some point along the way, I began noticing that along with some hard truths came much stress, despair, isolation, regret and the feeling of being trapped. Having said that though, there’s big truths that only arrive after coming through the shit storm, and those are the prized truths that make it all worth it. Coming out on the other side, I can say I’m blessed that I’ve walked the path that I’ve walked. So, did the truth set me free? Yes, it has. I wouldn’t want to be anyone else, in fact, that idea to me is scary.

As far as 9/11, I let that go a decade ago. It’s really small time stuff. There’s more important things to discuss when it comes to pulling humanity up out of the gutter. Philosophy is cornerstone. Human psychology is important as well as history. Topics like Critical race theory serve as low lying bait for the suckers who want to run around in circles, unless it can be turned on it’s head and examined with a psychological eye. If not, tomorrow they’ll throw out another meaty bone for them to chew, and they’ll snatch it up too, with the quickness. This forum is the place to be if you want to feed into the madness, as far as I’m concerned. But I’m here, right? I do and say what I’m prompted to do and say, and it’s as simple as that. I’m the Krist, if you understand me here, which I’m certain that you don’t. I can make this claim, and what it means to me is not how such a claim would be received by most to mean. No matter though, my truth is for me and me alone, and likewise for you I’m sure. But I’m still in the flesh, so, I’d be naive to think that I couldn’t fall down and go boom. Keeping this in mind, I got to stay focused, and prepare myself as best I can, so that, when the storm comes, I can sit and be still, in the eye. If one can do such a thing, one can look back at a life that was worth living. It’s the push and pull of the flesh that is the most trying for a soul who serves notice upon the devil, if you understand me here. If you don’t understand, listen to Alan Watts, the theme of the Joker. The Joker is the trick player, who plays the great trick, upon himself, for, what else to do?

As far as Dan goes, I find it difficult to respect him. Dan makes an ad hominem attack upon me by stating that my moniker suits me, but I choose my moniker without the least bit of care or concern as to what people think of me, especially those people who would use it against me, a psychological attack. My moniker makes it easy for ignorant people to make ad hominem attacks upon me, so, I’ll keep it, for them. But that’s what this forum revolves around, mindless garble, good for nothing, except, venting. You’re correct about me being cynical about our present existence. I do however find some measure of joy in life.

I’m no angel either. I can be a real asshole and sometimes it’s fun to be an asshole. If I do something stupid, I’ll curse at myself, call myself a stupid piece of shit, good for nothing retard. I’ll say to myself, why don’t you just go choke yourself and punch yourself in the face, super manic nonsense is what it is. Then ten minutes later I might see a dirty homeless man scrounging through the dumpster, and I feel nothing but compassion for him, so I’ll give him $60, cause it’s all I had in my wallet at the time. I once knocked a guy out cold on the side of the mass pike at 1:30 in the morning, just me and him. I was driving tractor trailer, talking shit on the radio. Another truck driver didn’t like what I was saying so he tried to run me off the road, I had a full load of gasoline, tanker. After that, I told him to pull over so I could kick his ass, (CB radio) and like a dummy, he did. Straight beast mode is where I went, knocked him directly in his left eye socket with a hard overhand right and he was out. But I’m not a violent type of person. That guy had to pay a price for what he did. You can’t get away with trying to run a tanker off the road, sometimes mountain justice needs to happen, and it just so happened that the lot fell on me that night to dole it out. Maybe next time it’ll be me on the receiving end, probably not though cause I’m fifty years old now, and I don’t believe in messing with people, at all, unless it’s warranted. I guess that makes me the judge as to wether it’s warranted or not, right? And maybe I’m not so good a judge all the time lol

Anyway, good luck with the supersonic spinning wet ball. Just don’t be the last to find out, that would be extremely embarrassing lol

Amherst, the dumbest City/Town in the state.
https://www.gazettenet.com/Amherst-Town-Council-establishes-reparations-fund-41095651

AMHERST — Amherst is establishing a reparations fund that will be used for making restitution to Black residents for past harms against them and leading to a process of reconciliation.

The Town Council Monday voted 12-1 in favor of setting up a special purpose stabilization fund for reparations. No money is yet in the account, though a plan was recently presented by town finance officials that would put $210,000 into the account later this year when free cash is certified.

This is a very good summary of the writings of Ibrim Kendi (“How to be an Anti Racist”) and Robin DeAngelo (“White Fragility”). There is no need to waste your money and time on their books. What is surprising is how a illogical theory that is clearly rejected by the facts has taken root in many places. The best explanation is that it empowers a small group of people who are “diversity, inclusion and equity” specialist. These priviliged people have learned how to embarass and possibly fire those who disagree. Corporate America and Universities are full of cowards who rather give in to this crackpot theory than to point out the illogic and the facts. We should be ashamed of them.

The good news is that people are starting to fight back. The “Lexington-Concord” of the fight back may be the 259 parents in Louden County Virginia who are fighting for their children. Let the battle spread!

Will Berkshire County people fight against Critical Race Theory turning their children into Marxists who believe that everything is about race? Or are most Berkshire County people part of the problem by accepting all they are told by the far left? The fight against CRT is heating up across the country because people care about their children and what they are being indoctrinated to believe by these government run schools.

Just like in 60 with Kennedy. Nixon had the proof but didn’t want to tear the country apart, to bad Gore opened that Pandora’s box. Now we have Trump and the Republicans digging out all the dirty election deeds, making the US look like a 3rd world country. That is why they need to have voter ID and make Election Day a national holiday so everyone can make it to the polls to vote. They should also make it earlier in the year, maybe Labor Day and make it a 3 day weekend event

I think the 2000 election and the Florida situation was legit, at least in the sense that Gore proclaimed it as such, realizing he had no chance of overriding the supreme court.

Whether there was unethical hanky-panky going on in Florida leading to the ‘hanging chad’ etc. problems, as you note above there was probably some, but it was probably, in my view, miniscule, and it would not have overturned the result.

That is one reason Trump is a sickening example of a human being. He would not acknowledge the result of the election even though it clearly was decided against him. Gore was a class act. Trump is not.

So the Berkshire Eagle has been told to get rid of this whiny vindictive D.A. That’s what they are doing and it’s about darn time!!!!

“The Berkshire Eagle repeatedly asked Ms. Harrington if she listened to the recordings of the proceedings that gave rise to her letter, but she refused to answer the question. We take her refusal to answer this simple inquiry as a denial, as no other interpretation makes sense.”

“It was shameful and lazy for the district attorney to challenge a judge’s integrity without taking the time to hear exactly what the judge said in the cases that the DA’s screed addressed.”

“ The only matter that Ms. Harrington’s letter spells out is the case involving Lemond Grady and Edward Jennings. Her description ends with the bold-faced italicized statement that “… the victim [Mr. Jennings] murdered Mr. Grady.”
Mr. Jennings has not been found guilty nor admitted his guilt of murder.”

“ Ms. Harrington’s misuse of the term “murdered” betrays a sloppiness that pervades her letter.”

“ More importantly, an examination of the details of the handling of the Lemond Grady case by the DA’s Office displays a similar sloppiness. Ms. Harrington’s letter raises the scandalous inference that the local judge’s failure to grant her office’s request to revoke Mr. Grady’s bail somehow led to his being killed a month later.”

“ It is fair to infer that Ms. Harrington’s office either lost sight of the complaining witness in a case alleging a violent attack or they did not care enough to do the ordinary due diligence of maintaining contact.”

“ Prior to her election, The Eagle editorial board questioned Ms. Harrington’s ability to effectively administer the District Attorney’s Office if she were elected. Ignoring the well-defined avenues of redress and attacking Judge Tyne’s integrity with no evidence to support the attack reinforces the perception of an office that is dominated by a focus on politics over professionalism.”

Did the New Hampshire State Legislature and Governor Chris Sununu’s new state budget turn away federal funds for public education with its budget rider school voucher program? Did they violate the U.S. Constitution’s right to free speech and turn away federal funds with its budget rider ban on student discussions on racism and sexism? Did they violate the U.S. Constitution’s case law for limited abortion rights for women with its budget rider, including making no exemption for rape, incest, and the medical condition of the fetus? Why do state lawmakers use budget riders instead of holding public hearings and public input on legislation? What happened to democracy? Did budget riders take it away?

Hello Patrick Fennell,

On the Governor of New Hampshire – Chris Sununu – signing the new state budget with controversial budget riders, I totally disagree with you today. I still respect you, and I enjoy reading your email letters about politics, but New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu should not pass controversial laws via budget riders. Instead, the Governor should be telling the State Legislature in Concord, New Hampshire to hold public hearings and seek public input from their constituents. Also, as New Hampshire’s Governor, Chris Sununu should be ensuring that the state government is in legal compliance with the state and federal Constitutions, as well as remaining eligible to receive federal funding for public education.

In Massachusetts, Governor Charlie Baker and the Boston-based state lawmakers purposefully underfund public education by one billion dollars per year. In your hometown of Great Barrington, your public middle school is named after a registered Communist who was friends and ally with Stalin, who killed millions of more innocent people than Hitler. I don’t understand how any town could honor someone who openly supported a mass murderer of at least 20 million innocent human beings!

In closing, politicians don’t give a damn about public education. It is all about the federal funds and their political ambitions. Governors Chris Sununu and Charlie Baker are no different.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Melle

The U.S. Government and state governments should protect free speech, including free speech that hates America. Personally, I love America, but I fear my government. If you go through U.S. History, the government has had many injustices, including the genocide of 50 million native American Indigenous Peoples. Hitler killed between 12 to 15 million innocent or persecuted Peoples, especially the Jewish People, in the Holocaust. The U.S. colonial and federal government and colonial and state governments killed between 3 to 4 times the number of Peoples in U.S. genocides than Hitler’s horrible Holocaust genocides. The Founding Fathers were mostly Slave owners. How could they rationally fight a Revolutionary War against the British Empire and Crown in the name of Classical Liberty, but they themselves owned Slaves? President Abraham Lincoln freed the Slaves, but if he was not assassinated, Abe Lincoln wanted to remove black people from the U.S.A. and relocated them to Africa. Abe Lincoln said that he did not see the U.S.A. being able to stay united if black people stayed here with white people. Abe Lincoln was really a racist against black people and just 4 days before he was assassinated, he spoke of removing black people from the country he led through the U.S. Civil War. In the 1920s, the U.S. Government passed racist immigration laws that openly discriminated against the Jewish People and Italian People from immigrating to our country. Also during that time, the U.S. Government and state government had racist eugenic laws whose aim was to reduce or eliminate minorities and disabled people from society so that white people would ultimately live in white only communities. In the 1920s, Adolf Hitler openly praised the U.S. Government for its systemic racist laws, especially against the Jews. World War 2 was the U.S. Government and Allied Powers finest hours because we took down Hitler’s evil Nazi Germany regime. But post World War 2, the U.S. Government’s armed forces and other agencies fought endless wars where the U.S. Government killed millions upon millions of foreign Peoples. In 2003, the U.S. Government invaded Iraq and through present day controls 85 to 90 percent of Iraq’s second largest oil reserves in the world; Saudi Arabia – the U.S. Government’s close ally – has the largest oil reserves in the world. The U.S. Government’s number one non-farm export are military weapons. The U.S. Government makes its money off of its war machine or military industrial complex. So long as the U.S. Government sells arms to the world, it doesn’t matter how high the U.S. national debt gets. In 2021, the U.S.A. is at its most economically unequal status in 100 years. The U.S.A. is the land of class warfare where only the top 1 percent and underclass grow in the current K-shaped recovery for Wall Street and recession for Main Street. The U.S. middle class is shrinking, while economic inequality is growing. I don’t have children, but if I did, I would tell them that my grandparents and parents had better odd of living in the middle class from 1945 – 1975 than I had from 1975 – 2021 and they have from their birth year though their mid-60s. In 2008, Wall Street’s financial system collapsed because the wealthy gambled and lost trillions of dollars, and then the U.S. Government spent trillions of federal tax dollars bailing them out for causing the worse economic recession since the Great Depression in the 1930s, which was when Hitler rose to power in Germany. Ever since the U.S. Government bailed out Wall Street, the U.S. Government has been mortgaging our country’s future for the benefit of Wall Street. Guess who is paying for the Wall Street’s bailouts and the U.S. Government’s huge national debt? The people at the bottom of the K-shaped recovery/recession. Politicians always say that only a percentage of American people, along with businesses, pay federal taxes, but what politicians don’t say is that we all pay one way or another for the U.S. Government’s huge national debt that benefits Wall Street. In closing, let us put it all together. So-called religious fundamentalists who were of course white and came from Europe arrived in the U.S. over 400 years ago, committed the worst genocide in world history, and wiped out native cultures; our country was founded by white men who mostly owned slaves but did so in the name of classical liberty; we celebrate Abe Lincoln freeing the slaves while not saying the he wanted to deport the black population but was assassinated before he could do it; we passed racist immigration laws against Jews and others and practiced racist eugenic programs that Hitler openly praised; thankfully, we fought and defeated Hitler in World War 2, but then built our own war machine or military industrial complex that killed millions upon millions of foreign Peoples; we invaded Iraq for its second largest oil reserves in the world; we sell arms to the world for billions of dollars in business profits and tax revenues every year; and we exploit the masses by practicing class warfare for the benefit of Wall Street. I love my country, but I fear my government.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Melle

Shirl,
I also believe the administration and bureaucracy side of educational institutions is where monies are funneled and wasted. Those monies taken away from the real process of classroom education is also part of the problem. Shirl you nailed it with self dedication!

Nice try.

It is either ‘waiting for approval’ or ‘awaiting approval’, so your examples and cited rules don’t take into account the difference caused by the prefix a- on ‘awaiting’.

The prefix a- carries the function of the preposition ‘for’. So in the strictest sense, ‘awaiting for approval’ is ungrammatical.

Tell the truth, would you tell your freshman English class that ‘awaiting for approval’ is acceptable?

The stupidity of the left is never ending.

Kid who is valedictorian was giving a graduation speech. He had an approved speech, went off script and they cut him off.
He kept going. He wore a pride flag over his gown, against the dress code rules.

These rules are in place, students do not have first amendment protections while in school. These rules exist for a reason.
They celebrated him not following the rules because they agree with his political philosophy and his sexual preference/identity. Would they be so encouraging if they didn’t?
If the person spoke about their Christian faith and their personal growth as a Christian (even if that violated the rules)? If the person wore a maga flag wore a simple MAGA hat?
No.

The reason the rules exist is because they protect everyone equally, don’t like the rules? Petition to change them. Don’t violate them and celebrate it. Not at graduation and not because it’s just sadly about you.

How would that kid feel if everyone there were to remain stone cold quiet while he did his retarded little skit, and then when he was finished, they still sat there stone cold, silent, as he made his way off the stage and everyone just watched him, moving about, while he began to feel uncomfortable with the silence, wondering about all the stone cold expressionless faces, and the deafening silence, the silence. He could have his free speech, and everybody could let him, and he’d never think about pulling a stunt like that again.

And there’s something a bit off about when people feel the need to always be controlling, micromanaging. I say, let the free speech be, and sit and be still, and watch lol

Hello Dirty Bird (Berkshire Eagle) Editors:

I read your editorial criticizing Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington’s letter to the Administrative Judge against Judge Jennifer Tyne. The editorial made many valid points, especially that Andrea Harrington is more interested in politics than doing her job as Berkshire County’s chief law enforcement officer. I was surprised, however, that the editorial’s focus on Andrea Harrington’s heavily criticized letter and subsequent actions overlooks that a man was shot dead in cold blood and in broad daylight on North Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. If I was in Andrea Harrington’s shoes as Berkshire D.A., I would be in disbelief, too. She lashed out in a letter at the Judge in this tragic case instead of looking at her failures as Berkshire D.A. I understand her emotional state here, but I do think that her letter and actions are still wrong and unprofessional. I am concerned that inner city Pittsfield is so distressed with daily shootings, a gun murder in broad daylight, violent crime, drugs, gangs, and the like. Andrea Harrington became emotional and wrote an unprofessional and misguided letter, but I believe her heart is in the right place here because inner city Pittsfield is at rock bottom of society’s ills, inequities and injustices.

Personally, I spent many years of my then young adult life fearing that I would end up on North Street or another proverbial “Social Services Alley” rundown slum similar to North Street and the ring of poverty that surrounds North Street. I am very fortunate and grateful that our country honors me as a disabled Veteran. I may not have much in my life, but my wish has came true that I didn’t end up in the ditch that my native hometown’s inner city Pittsfield is in and probably always will be in. But, I still care about Pittsfield and Pittsfield politics all of these years later because I like to root for the underdogs of the world.

In Truth!

Hasn’t done a darn thing for the tax-payers of Pittsfield. But, like a good pawn to the ruling masters of Boston, she will make sure all illegals have DL’s. To drive? Heck no. It’s so they can vote.

What good is a DL for the driver who is driving with no car insurance and the car isn’t even registered?

Just pray they don’t crash into you. If so, thank Tricia Farley-Country-Buffet (D).

Also there are still tens of thousands of people in this state who do to post- carceral consequences, were left out of the restoration of driver’s licenses when Boston changed the laws around that a few years ago.
I think we need to prioritize current American citizens before we start handing out licenses to illegals.
And I don’t know how one would go about finding every registered voter who has lost their license due to an incarceration( and remember incarceration includes probation even if you never set foot in a prison or jail), but these are the people who will be able to help effectively disrupt the give driver’s licenses to illegals movement

“How” Injun, you made me laugh, I haven’t heard that one since I was a kid!
The how is first to locate the people, and that would have to start with word of mouth but I I would bet every single one of us knows at least two or three people who don’t have their driver’s license right now, have paid the fines ( for which they will now have to be reimbursed of course), but still do not have their license back.
And we would have to look to the DA’s offices in the state to share the data on people who lost their license and weren’t included in the reinstatement.
Someone would have to cross reference and verify that info, and right here is where we potentially lose the fight, because right here is where we llose the interest of the men and women who want their licenses restored before illegal aliens get theirs because you know how this goes:
someone’s going to suggest forming a committee, the committee is going to suggest bringing in outside consultants and two, three years later those consultants *might* recommend that the state prioritize restoring licenses to the registered voters who lost them through incarceration over licenses for illegals.
Committees and consultants are the SCUD missiles of wars of attrition, but they’re effective in silencing marginalized people who have begun to organize around an issue.
BUT, in a perfect world, etc.etc.

Hello Editor of the NH Union Leader, et al,

New Hampshire doesn’t have a sales tax like Massachusetts does, but it is a known fact that New Hampshire has the highest property taxes in the nation. New Hampshire should be known as the state of regressive taxation. Talk about screwing over the peasants, New Hampshire takes the cake!

Governor Charlie Baker is the WORST Governor in the over 400 year history of Massachusetts because 76 of our nation’s heroes – our Veterans – died of Covid-19 in the Holyoke Soldiers Home under his watch, including Veterans from New Hampshire. Governor Charlie Baker should have taken full responsibility for this tragedy, and then apologized to all of the families of all of the dead Veterans, but he has no decency to do so.

Talking about having no decency, Governor Charlie Baker is sitting on billions of stimulus funds, along with state slush funds, while the peasants in Massachusetts are struggling to survive in the K-shaped economic recession for the hard hit working class families – while Wall Street is at record highs in the K-shaped economic recovery. It is disingenuous of him to sit on all of the billions in state taxpayer dollars, and then propose a 2 month sales tax holiday to help the peasants save a few hundred dollars. I believe it is really a campaign strategy to boost his image for the 2022 gubernatorial election.

In Truth!

“Baker’s sale: It’s still not NH, Charlie”
The NH Sunday Union Leader, Opinion: Editorial, June 27, 2021

Gov. Charlie Baker proposes giving Massachusetts consumers two whole months of freedom from that state’s 6.5 percent sales tax. Atta boy, Charlie. Only 10 more months and you will be where New Hampshire is (and always has been): sales-tax free.

The liberals who run the Bay State legislature were aghast at the Republican governor’s modest proposal. Some fainted dead away at the thought of returning taxpayer revenue (of which the state has a surplus) to the taxpayers. They called it a “political gimmick” that merely extends the two-day tax-free holiday that Massachusetts has been granting its peasants for several years. Either option reminds those consumers that for a few gallons of highly-taxed gasoline, they can shop in tax-free New Hampshire the year round.

Baker may be hoping that spiking the tax for two whole months would give real relief to businesses that lose significant revenue from that border-hopping. It might. But consumers are unlikely to compress a year’s worth of shopping into just two months.

We hope Gov. Chris Sununu will follow former Gov. John Lynch’s example and promote the New Hampshire Advantage during these tax “holidays” whatever their length. We would suggest Sununu do so through some Massachusetts media advertising. This would have the added benefit of irritating his New Hampshire foes. Every time the governor makes an effective pitch for the Granite State, they cringe.

Right now, the whole CRT convo strikes me as performative.
Given how we are using the words “evidence-based” and “data driven” as the new gold standard for implementing new social programs, I’m wondering why we’re not hearing those words used around CRT.
Why aren’t all the woke helicopter parents asking for the long term independent evidence and data around the effectiveness of implementing CRT into our public schools?
Is it because they are too afraid that if they were to ask they will be painted with the broad brush of racism?
Or is it that because there is no data from the target population about how effective CRT is, or if it even is effective?
So instead of asking meaningful questions about the efficacy of CRT, and it may well be really effective; we don’t yet,
BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE LONG TERM DATA.
So we’re just going to avoid the whole thing because somebody might call us a racist?
We’re supposed to just rubber stamp a social experiment.
That’s a wicked bad policy to live by.
When will people understand that it is okay to hit pause and take a deeper dive into this before we say yes or no?

Don’t know if you recall but a few years back on this blog I recommended to you the sportswriter Dave Zirin. He frequently writes about race and professional sports. Whether or not your politics align with Zirin, his research is thorough, and he’s a damn good writer. Definitely worth reading his stuff!
Also, I can’t help but wonder what Howard Cosell would have to say about all of this.
I miss that guy!

Just to recap. With regards to the ball earth, Dan has claimed that if one were to travel directly east or west, one would ultimately end up right back where they started, which is true, but he claimed that this is only possible on a ball earth, and this particular claim is false.

Dan is talking about spinning ball and he’s talking about east and west, and of course, north and south. But instead of thinking about it in terms of north, we think of north as the attractor. You can call the attractor north, if you want to, and then you can make up words like, east, west, and south.

These terms are fine, very useful, and they work essentially the same wether you are on a ball, or, a flat plane.

On a flat plane, you can locate the attractor with your compass. With that information, you can can use your compass to travel due east or west. As you travel, you’ll constantly be locating the attractor so that you can maintain your east or west heading. By doing this, on a flat plane, YOU WILL ultimately get back to where you started. This is a fact.

There is no South Pole, because, we don’t live on a ball. South is just a term used to describe any direction which goes away from the attractor, again, useful wether you live on a ball, or, a flat plane.

If all habitable areas are located around the attractor, as in, the attractor is essentially in the middle, it’s easy to convert this situation into a spinning ball earth simply by fabricating a South Pole. But the compass only points to the attractor, so, South Pole is an act of faith.

Dan, please review your claim, and when you discover that you were mistaken, perhaps you could retract the claim.

Thank you so much for CRT explanation. I already made two Public Records requests about “new” Department of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Got a reply from Personnel Dep. Boss, Michael Tyler –” Scope of the job for DEI department employees is not determined yet.” So, Mayor Tyer “organized” a “study group” to get her needed conclusion for creation of DEI Department; City Council already approved $90K+ for 6 months DEI budget with 2 “Officers”( one will be Alisa Costa) and 1 secretary, but no actual description “yet” about specifics those “Officers’ will be doing!
When I asked in Personnel Department: ” Can I -Conservative Republican- apply for DEI job openings?” Secretary replied: “Yes, you can, but later–since it is not posted yet and we don’t know time for posting yet. We also don’t know education and experience qualification for those 2 Officers positions.” (!!??) Meanwhile-
city failed to give me exact copy (Public Records) of that group finding.
Instead, City Clerk Michell referred me to city’s web site about DEI, which was installed by IT programmers, not “study group”. By MGL, approved in 2016, new fines for failure to provide Public Records are from $1,000-to $5,000. I sincerely believe that Department of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is pure violation of the fiduciary duties of Municipality to run City as efficient as possible with min Departments and min employees, Violation of Federal and State Constitution since DEI advocates for hiring more black teachers and more black employees as Mayor’s “Information Officer” Roberta told me, which is pure RACISM in reverse. I am deeply aggravated why nobody else is concerned about those obvious violations of Constitution and Civil Rights. Hiring more people because they belong to any race is a Racism. Why do we need to tolerate that injustice? Why people became so afraid to oppose Dem/Liberal Fascist propaganda? I will file a Lawsuit as soon as I get all necessary replies from City. If you with me: blum037@yahoo.com
