Stay in “better” communication? How about staying in some communication?
Yes, and that’s why Harrington has run the most closed operation in the history of that office. What can’t be said by propaganda is taken up by puff, pandering, politics, and PR. Her flack, Andy McKeever, has become the Ron Ziegler of local press relations. You’ll recall that long before McK joined the D.A.’s office, he was posing as a reporter for iBerkshires, providing fawning coverage that the shameless editors allowed.
And look at the professionalism of this piece of drivel. Take the penultimate sentence, please: ” … hosted by the Westside Legands [sic] the the [sic] Memorial Day Ceremony …” This is what happens when you have an office that doesn’t care about communication, accessibility, or transparency.

I was watching the national news yesterday (1-June-2021) afternoon, and the news reporters explained that while President Joe Biden has said lofty words about helping the black community, nothing has been done as of yet. That frustrated me because that is what career politicians always do. They always promise everything and say lofty words, but in the end, little to nothing ever gets done in government. I must say that it is not Biden’s fault that nothing has gotten done because the U.S. Congress in nearly evenly divided on partisan lines.
On Andrea Harrington, she ran for Massachusetts State Senate in 2016, but she lost to Chrome Dome (Adam Hinds) in the Democratic Party Primary. Two years later, she ran against Paul Caccaviello for Berkshire County District Attorney and won the 2018 election. She has had minor mistakes over the past three-plus-years in her first term, but she has held true to her progressive positions on criminal justice reform. From what I understand from far away from Berkshire County from my perch in Southern New Hampshire, the local police in Berkshire County often butt heads with her office. From my near 3 decades of living in Berkshire County, I saw that it is usually the same poverty-stricken neighborhoods and recidivist residents that make up a majority of criminal offenses in Berkshire County. Similar to poverty, crime is often multigenerational. Pittsfield’s social services downtown and Cheshire Road jail has attracted more troubled people and families to live in Berkshire County, while driving away the diminishing middle class families to more affordable and safer localities in other parts of the country.
Lastly, I received an email letter from my pen pal Patrick Fennell of Great Barrington to Chrome Dome (Adam Hinds), who sent him an email letter that he (Chrome Dome/Adam Hinds) voted for the Massachusetts State Senate’s fiscal year 2022 state budget. I agree with Patrick Fennell that Chrome Dome/State Senator Adam Hinds is yet another do nothing political hack on Beacon Hill who only does disservices to the people who live in his Western Massachusetts legislative district. Beacon Hill received billions of dollars in Biden Buck$, but it is unclear why so much of the stimulus money from Capitol Hill to Beacon Hill is still largely unspent. Where do all of the billions of dollars actually go to? Chrome Dome/Adam Hinds’ first vote on Beacon Hill was for his own huge 40% legislative pay raise, along with all of his other legislative colleagues. Like Trippy Country Buffet/Tricia Farley Bouvier, Chrome Dome/Adam Hinds openly supports raising state taxes, especially on the wealthy, but never offers to cut his own public pay and perks, too. Career politicians are only in it for their own public pay and perks that the taxpayers have to pay for!

Kerwood conceding to an alleged $190,000 over budgeted “mistake” in the police budget looks more like tyer, wynn and kerwood conspired to put this “alleged error” into the police budget so the schitty clowncilors could “find” it, and correct it. Thus reducing the police budget by $190,000, which was intentionally over budgeted by $190,000. Adding this $190,000 intentional error, and then correcting it, resulted in a zero reduction to the bloated police budget. So while directing the schitty clowncilors to this $190,000 red herring rock, wynn, tyer, and kerwood ensured that no other rocks would be turned over. Cops are NOT underpaid. I offer this example of a cop in the PPD who went from a $120,000? house in another town to a $312,000 Pittsfield house in 2 1/2 years time. If it was even whole 2 1/2 years in the PPD.
Imagine what might turn up if there were FORENSIC AUDIT. Come on Matt. Give something back to the community. Give the taxpayers some peace of mind. If you know everything is clean then what is the hold up here?

If I were a Jew today, my sensibilities would be tormented. The local regressi, er, I mean, progressive group Greylock Together, last month banned a Jewish member who was with them since the beginning, because that member shared a national campaign asking eBay to remove a photo of the bodies stacked up outside the Zyklon-B chamber at Dachau that was being sold in a tasteful frame to be hung above your fireplace as wall art. It was truly an horrific use of an horrific image.
They claimed some members were “triggered”.
The person who shared this campaign did include an appropriate trigger warning with the post.
Apparently these members were not triggered into outrage enough to join the campaign asking eBay to remove the person selling that item.
No, they were triggered into removing the Jewish member of the group who asked them to take action.
Meanwhile, even though they have been asked several times to remove them, they insist on keeping on their Facebook page the articles about the Williamstown Police Department that contain images of Adolf Hitler.
Yet they are promoting their “brand” as being anti-racist and all-inclusive.

The Berkshire delegation to Beacon Hill does NOT represent the people who live in their respective Western Massachusetts’ legislative districts. Even nearly 2-decade-long career politician Lenox State Representative Smitty Pignatelli published an op-ed in the Berkshire Eagle explaining that Berkshire County has lost huge numbers of population and living wage jobs over the decades, while state, local and public school districts costs have all increased (without Smitty looking at himself in the proverbial mirror). We live in an age of great economic inequality, and the mostly rural Western Massachusetts region is falling behind the Boston area. Also, let us not forget about PAC Man Richie Neal, who has been in U.S. Congress for over 3 decades now, who only represents K Street corporate lobbyist firms who donate millions of special interest dollars into his campaign coffers each and every year. PAC Man Richie Neal is one of the top corporate Democrats in the Swamp who drowns out the voices of the grassroots Democrats on Capitol Hill.
The Berkshire delegation – Chrome Dome: Adam Hinds, Trippy Country Buffet: Tricia Farley Bouvier, Paul Marx: Paul Mark, Smitty Pignatelli, and the Mayor: John Barrett III – are all useless backbenchers in Boston. The Eastern Massachusetts Country Club career politicians in Boston only show up on payday. I was watching the Boston news a while back, and a Beacon Hill State Representative lady said that there are the Starbucks versus the Dunkin coffee drinking state lawmakers. The Starbucks state lawmakers live in the Boston area elite and wealthy suburbs where the median income is between $200,000 to $300,000 per year. The Dunkin state lawmakers live in the rest of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where median incomes are below $100,000 per year.
It is all a game to the Boston area dominated career politicians instead of a state government democracy for most to all of the people who live in all of Massachusetts. Beacon Hill lawmakers vote themselves 40 percent pay raises, receive up to 3 legislative pay raises every 2 years, pad their taxpayer-funded retirement accounts with committee assignments, vote in near unanimous blocs to please the very powerful House Speaker or Senate President, and shut out the public from most of their state legislative business negotiations.
Lastly, while Beacon Hill lawmakers took months off at a time in 2020, 76 Veterans in the Holyoke Soldiers Home tragically died from Covid-19. Governor Charlie Baker has taken zero responsibility for the WORST debacle in the over 400 year history of Massachusetts government. Over one million Massachusetts workers lost their jobs and health insurance over the past year, while Beacon Hill lawmakers went missing in action. In closing, Beacon Hill only does disservices to the people they only screw over instead of supposedly represent in Massachusetts state government.
