Wonderful times and beautiful memories. I always stopped in and felt at home when Aunt Rose and Uncle Jake would host holiday dinners for all Gaetani family members. I attended many of these dinners and always felt at home From the time I left home at the age of 18 I never sat in a barbershop chair unless it was Joe or Charlie’s. Loved the family. Cheers to you and yours, Craig. Have a great day. Chuck

Larry happy holidays to you and Cindy. You are welcome here any time you can get here. Getting cold here. I should be down south rather than freezing in Pittsfield. Maybe I will see you after the holidays. I sold the big boat but am redoing the seaswirl as a winter project. This will be the 45th summer I’ve had it. Have a nice Xmas. See you soon either there or here. Nice to hear from you and cindy

Happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful for the last FREE SPEECH blog in the Berkshires. The Holidays Season is a WONDERFUL time of year. God bless America. Thank you, blogger Dan Valenti, for being a voice for the little guy. We will never stop fighting the good fights in Pittsfield politics and beyond. 2024 is going to be a big year in politics!

Heard it on the news today radio WGOB: “Black Friday shoppers should take note. Christmas shoppers will have trouble getting their gifts this season as supplies are projected to be lower this fall. Economists are recommending that you get your shoplifting done early. Happy Thanksgiving, listerners. Please drink responsibly, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”

Before you crawl into your hibernation, well deserved, please release MJC’s Thanksgiving Advisory. I live alone on the third island on Pontoosuc Pond. Winter is coming upon me and I do hope I will soon be able to walk to the donut maker. It’s been 218 days since I was forced by my docs to abandon my home and find suitable shelter from the clouds of radiation. I be sharing mirth with Tenessey Sauer de Maashe who is writing a novel tracing his humble destination back to a Dutch marine Admiral Tenessey S.M. who set out to seize Thames Bridge but got blown Southwards and wound up in a vinyard in Provence. Therein he settled down, having lost his ship and crew to the Frankish mob that stripped it to kindling.
Wishing you and Lisa a wonderful happy thackerian Thanksgiving!

I can’t believe that I’m finding thumbs down on posts that are wishing a Happy Thanks Giving to one another. This is exactly what is wrong with society today. Some can’t allow themselves to allow others a time of thoughtfulness and togetherness, even for a moment on days much needed with all going on in our daily lives.

AN interview with 4year old Sarah. Sarah, where do you get your turkey.? We buy it at the auto parts store. We catch it in the cellar and bring it home in a pillow case. When we get it home my daddy beats it with a chain. He pulls the feathers off with pliers and cuts the head off. We cook it in the clothes dryer for a few days and then carve it up with a chain saw.
We eat about 5 pounds each. Our dog Rex eats the rest about 20 pound. after we eat we sleep for about30 hours then go to my grama’s house for desert. We like to eat turkey this way as it is nice and moist. A real interview as told to Johnny Carson on the tonight show some 40 years ago.

I took another of those large orange pills for my EHS. It needs a 1 inch pvc pipe rammed down the gullet and then propelled south with a pump. Can’t break it up into small pieces like the others. It’s painful, and I thank neighbor Tennesseey S. Maash for his services. But is it worth it, asks you? Certainly it is. My foot has now turned a prettier color green like the stone and my hair has flattened out. Lingering effects linger on though. Hair floats up when I walk near the flouressent lamperoos at the Hall of the City.

Maybe, as a nice Thanksgiving gesture, one of you good souls will petition for me a conversion, just the payment desk is all I’m asking, to good old fashion incandescent or gas lamps like we have still in the bayous on our side of the muddy.

Excuse me but who in the holy hell do you expect to pay for this self aggrandizing upgrade? Might I remind you that this is the time of year for Giving and not for personal grifting from the private sector.

Please leave that to the Petes and the special interests who will now be controlling public pocketbooks. While this may be a time of very high inflation and made worse for a city of mostly low income folk on public assistance and elderly on fixed incomes and a burgeoning immigrant and homeless population, there is still that pressing need to bleed every possible dime from the middle income class. In fact rumor has it that Sky Boxes are now being considered for the grandstand for the new upscale stadium for the celebrities that are sure to be coming in droves. The new Marchetti Stadium is expected to be finished in 2027 and may be paid off as soon as 2097.

They probably had not thought of that but now that you have put the idea forward I can see it being put into the blueprints.
One thing is for sure and that is that baseball is just the lure they are selling this with, but once ground is broken you will be hearing about all kinds of stuff it will really being built for. First Friday events, Third Thursday events, pride events, immigrant induction center, bike track races, pickle ball tournaments, food truck jamborees and canoe races.
Mark my words people. Baseball will not be one tenth of the use and they might have to schedule games around random events. This whole thing was never hatched with baseball as the end game.

You do realize that your useful idiot role to trump has a shelf life? Once you help him to become dictator king he will have zero use for you and you will become fodder like the rest of us. How many people who were very close to him at one time , who he said were “wonderful people” has he since shit upon? A lot my friend. Actually he did a silent insurrection while Pelosi ran the Jan 6th tour of the capital. Amazing how now in court the counting machines are being shown how they can be hacked, how the counts were off and in GA they are looking for 150,000 missing paper ballots, These voting”issues” have been popping up in Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, Texas, Pennsylvania and Minn. Young people across our country in colleges and high schools are racists. A high school called Hillcrest in Queens New York began rioting in the halls of the school when they found out one of their teachers attended a pro-Israel event. The teacher had to hide in a closet for two hours while the students rampaged against her and against Israel. These young people have been indoctrinated by the schools and by Tik-Tok to hate the Jewish people.

The broader picture seems to suggest that EVERYONE hates EVERYONE. Now that statement may be slightly exaggerated but probably not by much. What the hell is going on in Ireland?

And now that it is except-able to recklessly kill woman and children when at war we can look at a world population drop which quite frankly may be a good thing. Hopefully though, all the thousands of thugs in prison will still have 65 inch televisions to watch. But why does the grim reaper seem to pass by so many who really need to die early deaths and target innocents in incubators? George Orwell did not address this and so that mystery goes on.

“Proposed Pittsfield Tax Rate Would Hike Bills 8.75%”

The tax rate does not boost tax Bill’s. Tax Rates are driven by budgets. While budgets are drafted by the Mayor, it is the People’s body, the City Council, that chooses how much to approve. You, the People, chose to accept the entire proposal.

Flat Tyer wants to give everyone in Picklefield one last departing gift. How about your property taxes going up 8.75%.

A $270,000 house will now cost Picklefield taxpayers approximately $5000 a year.

Proposed Pittsfield Tax Rate Would Hike Bills 8.75% / iBerkshires.com – The Berkshires online guide to events, news and Berkshire County community information.

How about using some of that “grant money” Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (D-illegal aliens) always “finds” for Picklefield in exchange for a few dozen low-lifes and bums to add to the collection we already have, to lower the tax rate? Is that possible? Or is another Ricky Rumpus roundabout/kickbacks already in the works?
