QUIK HITZ & HOT LIX … plus … WEEKEND PREVIEW: MAYOR MOAX CONTINUES THE DESTRUCTION OF DOWNTOWN

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY MARCH 27, 2024) — Upcoming in The Weekend Edition, THE PLANET presents the latest folly of Bitchfield’s new Administration. It comes in the guise of the continual and continuous destruction of North Street via replacing for-profit private business with more tax-exempt social-service non-sequiturs.

Folks, you know, THE PLANET knows, but Mayor Maypo Moax hasn’t got the memo. More social-service agencies is the L-A-S-T thing the downtown needs. We explain on Friday.

———————————

HEALEY THE HEALOT

What an insult. Our failed governor has allowed the non-stop tsunami of illegals to overwhelm the Soldiers Home in Chelsea. So much for homeless veterans who served the country. Best to kick them to the curb and give it away to an unvetted, criminal horde who are costing the Kapanskis in this state more than $1 billion a year.

They get, all “free”, $150/day room, twice-a-week housekeeping, same-day laundry pickup and return, medical services, health and dental insurance, laptops, tablets, chargers, clothes, WIC assistance, EBT cards loaded to $800/month, Uber and Lyft rides, education, legal help, tax preparation, U-Haul and boxes for moving, furniture, $900 move-in package, dishes, and cutlery. We may have missed several items.

“We have said for months now that our system is at capacity, and we do not have the space,” said Scott Rice, state emergency assistance director. Then stop the influx of illegals, Numby! Healey’s brilliant decision is not to do that but to trample Bay State residents. Massachusetts is the only state in the union that has a “right to shelter” law.

That and the ponderous list of “freebies” (paid for by taxpayers) act as a magnet that has made the Commonwealth the #1 target of grifters from everywhere. The trickle-down effect will soon be hitting Bitchfield, and hard.

———————————

NETANYAHU’s SLAUGHTERHOUSE

Since when is a concern for Palestinian rights “antisemitic propaganda?” A: Since Israel responded to the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack with an unrelenting, unprecedented slaughter of helpless civilians in Gaza that grows more horrific each day.

When it’s over, Benjamin Netanyahu can report directly to his Hague trial for fomenting a genocidal slaughter. We might add it was Netanyahu’s laxity in the first place that allowed Hamas its opportunity on the fateful October day.

The Anti-Defamation League issued a report that essentially labels any attack on Netanyahu’s barbaric policies “hate speech.” THE PLANET rejects this conclusion, and we condemn Israel for its actions in Gaza and the West Bank, where the Jewish government recently seized thousands of acres. This is one case where Schumer and Blinken are correct. On Monday, the United Nations’ Security Council voted to demand a cease-fire in Gaza.

———————————-

TAKES A LICKING AND KEEPS ON TICKING

On Monday, a New York appeals court lowered a civil-trial judgment against ex-President Donald Trump from $454 million to $175 million. Trump had 10 days to pay, but THE PLANET isn’t concerned with the lowering numbers, which represent a victory for 45.

Instead, we wonder how many people in 1,000 could display the resilience Trump has shown between a non-stop campaign schedule and an endless legal attack launched by the opposition party to keep him off the ballot. How politics have weaponized the judiciary is part of a continuing domestic nightmare.

The LoonLibs who have hijacked the once honorable Democrat Party have borrowed from the tactics of Third World Strongmen. In terms of durability and stamina, Trump is up there with another unjustly persecuted man, Wikileaks found Julian Assange.

———————————-

BITCHFIELD ON ‘CRACK’

What might have “slipped through the cracks” on the recent plans announced for the Jim’s House of Shoes and Wright buildings is the Bitchfield Historical Commission’s need for an extension to tap Community Pickpocket Funds (CPA) for the project. Seems someone on the commission was asleep at the wheel.

Commission chair John Dickson said his group, you know, kinda-sorta missed the deadline.

Get this: Here’s what he said by way of an excuse: “With the change in staff at the city and with COVID, it fell through the cracks.”

“Fell through the cracks.” Same thing Mayor Moax said about the (near)$50K invoice screwup.

THE PLANET knew the city had a crack problem in the city, but we had no idea it is THIS bad.

Mayor Peter Marchetti will submit his fiscal year 2025 municipal budget to the City Council in early-May 2024. He said that he will file a level-services budget with an affordable spending increase. Let us do the math on the fiscal year 2024 $205.6 million municipal operating budget. Every one percent increase in city spending equals $2,056,000. Predictable Pittsfield politics has increased its annual spending by at least 5 percent since the early-1980’s after the misguided Proposition 2.5 state law went into effect. Ergo, a minimum municipal spending increase of 5 percent would be: $10,280,000, which would be lowest spending increase for Pittsfield politics. Can the city government and public school district get by on $10.3 million in new spending from July 1st, 2024 to June 30, 2025?

As for Pittsfield’s glut of social services agencies, level 5 inner-city public schools, large underclass population, and so on, the politicians, public pensioners and greedy lobbyists live in Gated Communities, Sunny Florida, Boston, and other upper class places. They love to support social services in Pittsfield, but they do not live among the city’s huge underclass population. I see the politicians, including Mayor Peter Marchetti, as disingenuous phonies. Pittsfield’s State Representative sent her children to Lenox Public Schools. She once worked for a then Pittsfield Mayor with a useless Rolodex who never owned a home, nor did he ever rent, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and then the full-time Florida resident purchased a Summertime condo in Lenox in his golden years.

I think Chucky Schumer is wrong about Israel. The terrorists want to kill the Jewish people regardless of any mistakes that Netanyahu makes. Eventually he would slip up and the terrorists would be able to kill the Jewish people. With or without Netanyahu in power, who will protect the Jewish people from the terrorists who used the Palestine people as their base for getting close to Israel to achieve their goal? I think there should be a ceasefire, but Hamas doesn’t want the ceasefire.

I have a serious question for JM. He writes many posts on here about being a veteran’s advocate and spending time with our Vets and at his local VA.

My question to you JM, after reading that Maura Healey (under China Joe Xiden’s direction) is kicking out US Veterans out of the Soldiers Home in Chelsea in favor of illegal aliens, how can you still support the democRAT party and its agenda?

Seems a bit hypocritical to me, don’t you think JM?

I knew Healey would be a disaster from day one. She said the most outrageous things in 2020 about the far left rioters, looters, and arsonists just trying to get the violence out of their systems and the crazy people in Massachusetts elected her as Governor. People are to blame for the horrible politicians we have now in Massachusetts.

From part of a post from JM about our MA. governor should tell everyone that wants to know why he will support anyone with a D in front of their name regardless of policies. Note: Kelly has an R in front of her name.

JM : Kelly Ayotte denounced your comments about a disabled teenage 15-year-old girl who was raped by a 26-year-old migrant housed by the state. Kelly Ayotte said that former Manchester (NH) Mayor and Democratic candidate for Governor of New Hampshire Joyce Craig should denounce your words about the situation.

Compared to Kelly Ayotte, I would support you any day, month, season, year, etc. Please take Kelly Ayotte’s criticisms of you with a grain of salt because all you have to do is look at the source.

Best wishes,

Jonathan A. Melle

Kelly Ayotte is a New Hampshire Republican who served one 6-year term in the U.S. Senate. She is running for Governor of New Hampshire in 2024. She is using Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey as her example of bad governance. Her campaign tagline is to not let New Hampshire become another version of Massachusetts.

What is the problem with Kelly Ayotte scapegoating Maura Healey? Answer: The problem is that Kelly Ayotte’s own public record is wrong. After the New Town, Connecticut’s Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, then U.S. Senator was the only U.S. Senator in the entire North-Eastern region of our country to vote against legislation to stop school shootings, which never passed because politicians chose to leave school children vulnerable to school shootings.

When Obama nominated Judge Merrick Garland to the U.S. Supreme Court, then U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte allowed his nomination to never be voted on in the U.S. Senate.

In 2024, Kelly Ayotte promises to endorse Donald Trump for U.S. President. Only 8 years earlier, Kelly Ayotte chose not to endorse Donald Trump for U.S. President after he was caught on a hot mic saying that he likes to grab women by their genitals – only he did not say genitals.

I support Governor Maura Healey. I do not support candidate for Governor Kelly Ayotte. It is not because one is a Democrat and the other is a Republican. It is because Maura Healey stands for good causes, while Kelly Ayotte has a bad public record and if she is elected to the Governor’s Office, she would be an extremist who supports Donald Trump, which is not what New Hampshire needs.

Thanks for sharing this OP.

I’m wondering what the Vets at his local VA would think of JM and his ultra-left leaning support for illegal aliens over American citizens?

I’m hoping a 1000 or so illegal aliens are shipped to his NH town.

Let the Melle’s welcome the illegal aliens with open arms.

Maybe JM will get lucky and when/if an illegal rapes a juvenile female in his hometown, his local democRAT leaders will use “soft language,” so apt to not offend JM and the other townies.

I’m mean harsh language and hurt feelings trump sexual assault……all you need to know where JM’s thought process is.
