MAYOR MAYPO’s “OPENLY GAY” FY25 BUDGET WILL STEAL THE KAPANSKIS BLIND … or … “DON’T DO THAT; YOU’LL GO BLIND”

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY APRIL 8, 2024) — It used to be that citizens “enjoyed” (if that is the proper term) a reasonable separation of tripartite government levels. The Feds did their thing, the states did theirs, and the locals were more or less left alone.  No more, of course. With states dependent on Fed assistance and locals junkies to state aid, when Top gets a sneeze, the states catch cold, and the locals contract the flu.

Spending provides the most obvious example.

Government “budgets” the opposite of the Kapanskis. Mary Jane and Joe sit down and produce a realistic guess at their yearly income and produce a spending plan accordingly. Lately, that means more belt tightening. Government, however, decides first on how much it wants to spend, then taxes the crap out of the Kapanskis to pay for it. Whatever Mary Jane and Joe can’t cover, government borrows. Government L-O-V-E-S debt.

———- ooo ———-

Three weeks ago, the Biden Administration unveiled its FY25 budget. Joe’s disastrous spending plan:

  • Raises taxes.
  • Increases spending past pre-pandemic levels.
  • Funds a federal public sector that consumes more than a quarter of the budget.
  • Costs $7.3 trillion.
  • Adds $16.3 trillion in red ink over the next decade.

Joe calls this a “prudent” budget.

———- ooo ———-

Like Joe, so goes Markey Maypo. For those not into local government (and who can blame them), THE PLANET refers to beer-belly mayor Peter Marchetti, part of the lame-dick Two-Pete Form of Government (T-P FOG) driving Bitchfield into the toxic wastes.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your esteemed City Council Vice President.

Maypo thinks Bitchfield’s taxes are too low, not hesitating to lie about it to the recent joint meeting between the council and sochol committee. Of course, Maypo’s trying to prepare the Kapanskis for sticker shock when he reveals his “openly gay” FY25 budget. It will be more bloated than Porkchop Pete, Maypo, and Costa-Plenty combined.

Here’s what the mayor said, as reported by Britt Polito of iBerkshires: “When we continue to hear about how we’re comparing to other communities, and we’ve heard it several times that jeez, we’re the highest tax bills in Berkshire County, I think using the data from [the state Department of Revenue] and [Division of Local Services] we can prove that is not necessarily the case.”

Jeez.

———- ooo ———-

Join THE PLANET in looking at this gem of insight:

  • Point 1, The LIE: When the mayor compares Bitchfield’s taxes with other communities, he never factors in average household income, expenses, and most important, discretionary cash. When you do this, Bitchfield is the MOST EXPENSIVE of the 351 Bay State cities and towns. Dead last. Stop lying your arse off, Mr. Mayor.
  • Point 2, “Data”: As Nelson Rockefeller said, “Give me the right data and the right analyst, and I can prove anything.”
  • Point 3, The Hedge: Notice how Maypo says that Bitchfield’s exorbitance when it comes to taxes “is not necessarily the case.” Not necessarily.

The mayor then went through the dire scenarios if, Bog forbid, Bitchfield keeps the BLOATED budget level at $182,000,000. Every department would collapse, hordes of Mongols would invade from the East, and Porkchop Pete would have to pay for his dining out.

Don’t be fooled, ladies and gentlemen.

The T-P FOG is out to steal you blind.

For the record, THE PLANET shall gladly publish any rebuttal T-P FOG wishes to send. We shall also agree to ANY public debate on this budget with ANY city official, no notes, no conditions. C’mon, office holders. Take us on. Show us where we’re wrong! We can charge admission and split the $$ for charity.

What does the data say about how much taxpayer money is lost due to the enormous tax breaks given to so many well to do business owners? And if Pete White thinks all those tax breaks to the more wealthy crowd are deserved, why does he not address the public from his exalted position as city Council Vice President, and explain it to them so they do not feel so shit upon?

MR White are you out there? Are you even allowed to speak on your own? Did you take the position of city council president to represent the people or are you one more in a long line of sycophants feathering his own nest at the expense of the hard working public?

Marchetti, the mayor, is a reflection of what he was as council president. a bump on a log. White looks like a reflection of Marchetti in the mirror so get out the doggie bags cuz this guy is going to make real big mess on your lawn by the looks of things.

Great idea. The city should list all places that are receiving tax breaks as well as all the properties that are tax free. I believe the taxpayers would be shocked at who owns these favored properties or are connected to them.

You really might be shocked. By the way, can a golf course get a tax break if it reseeds it ‘s greens? And just what are the rules these days and have they EVER been abided by? I mean, even once? And if so can we see a detailed print out of every business and what it’s expectations were and how they met them? Pete? Peters? Got ya some lockjaw right there huh?

Just handing them out if you gots the proper lineage.

I just wish any form of our government would be transparent! How can anyone make an informed decision without correct information. Will the “Petes” publish the notes and decisions of the ARPA charade? How much time did the “coordinators” work to get their $50,000? How about the $50,000 missing pay off that just happened? Where are those greenhouses and has anyother city employee received free construction work from the kids at Taconic? Why won’t the city close schools? Why won’t they eliminate committees and why don’t they ask people to apply to be on committees instead of appointed out of the blue???? Juast a few questions for the cities “leaders”. if they haven’t blasted off already

Pittsfield’s budget plan: Tax fixed income Senior Citizens around $5,000 per fiscal year. Rely on state & federal funding. Spend 5 to 10 percent more each fiscal year. Borrow hundreds of millions of dollars, including the OPEB unfunded liabilities. Lastly, Pittsfield’s only economic growth: the large underclass population.

Biden et al have been laundering BILLIONS of US tax dollars in the Ukraine with no accountability via his crook in arms Zelensky. It seems the newest version of House Speaker may be a RINO and approve Quid Pro Joe’s request for more dollars funneled into that black cesspool of corruption.

He has also imported ~20 MILLION CRIMINAL ALIENS in just 3 years, who get better treatment and FREE services than US Citizens and Veterans. Along with the unscreened/unvetted/unvacinated illegals came diseases; there is a current TB outbreak in Chicago “migrant” shelters and measles is making a comeback too.

Bible? Biden replaced Easter with Tranny Awareness day. Christians be scorned and dammed, Joe wants them all to go to Hell to keep him company.

Trump don’t need to sell bibles, he just shattered campaign donation records and more than doubled what the DNC took in.

This was the week when he attended the murdered NYC police officer’s services and paid off his widow’s mortgage. Joe instead, had a NYC fund raiser with Slick Willie and Barry Sotero, no mention of the slain officer.

The weapons GIVEN to Ukraine, are already showing up all over the world.

Some of the $$$ most likely is directly shipped back to the swamp creatures infesting Wash DC. Indirectly for sure as the traitors have stock in the weapons manufacturers.

Weapons Joe GAVE to the Taliban, while getting servicemen killed in the process, showed up in Gaza and are being used against Israel. This was broadcast on MSM BEFORE the Oct 7th attack (May 2004)

Islamic Jihad missiles falling on their own peoples’ heads. Best to ignore Snark’s rubbish. He is on his personal anti-Jewish rant as directly stated earlier with his remark that US Israel policy is result of ‘Jewish Interest Group’ controlling the federal gov.,

We found $240,000 for a social services “advisory committee” and the school district still has their $100k a year “cultural competency coach”

What a sham

I ask again, how many on that committee are just political donors getting their favors returned? At least a few on there look grossly under qualified for any kind of advisory capacity

Speaking of Social Services. Read in a recent (Apr 3rd) local newspaper that the number of special education referrals doubled from about 50 in 2022-23 to more than 100 for the current school year. And that is just preschool? If it was explained why I did not get it. But it does coincided with an influx of immigrants so maybe that is it. And special needs means more taxpayer money needed right? And is there any reason this number won’t increases exponentially like our taxes? What is happening in Pittsfield to bring this scenario on us all of a sudden? Hopefully someone is just jacking the numbers up to grab more money.

If you count up all the people in Pittsfield living in poverty, add in the homeless and then the drug addled and those suffering from mental breakdowns and those with special needs, what is left? Kinda looks like a rather dysfunctional population and not one I would rush to open a business in. Or go to to see the sights. The canary in this coal mine is warning you of your future. Pay attention to it.

It is amazing that the scohol department refuses to close schools, lay off some asst supes and get back to the basics of teaching. Get rid of all the added accessories that were added years ago that are not needed. Especially with the student population half of what it was at one time. Would love to know the actual count for students in each school and class daily. They should post it on their website after attendance is taken

This morning, I was reading the first of many “think of the students,” propaganda stories in the Eagle, talking about all the staff positions that will be lost in Mayor Maypole has to cut the budget.

I did some quick math and took a look at the number of teachers, bus drivers, and superintendents, who’s positions will be cut. I only did “local cuts,” not ESSER (federal money) cuts.

Here are the cuts: 34 Teachers, 2 bus drivers, 1 deputy superintendent.

Remember this when Mayor Maypole talks about not knowing where to cut from in the budget.

Here’s a look at the staff positions each Pittsfield Public school will have to cut for next school year’s budget proposal | Central Berkshires | berkshireeagle.com

How about Herberg requiring TWO dean of students? Most schools manage with a principal/asst principal

How many of these teachers were “co-teachers” ? How many principals of “teaching and learning” do we need.

The ones whining on The Eagle’s social media are clueless. Most districts get by with WAY less and are in better shape. The Eagle put that article out to cause chaos because as soon as people hear “cut” they scream “Think of the children!!”

IF these staff/teachers were smart they’d go to outside districts and be paid/treated better

Does the schools even have after-school detention for the miscreants? and/or suspend the worst ones?

Sticking with the Picklefield Public Scohol (PPS) system today, another part of this story stuck out to me also.

For those who can’t read the article, I cut and pasted the sentence for you.

It talks about the absenteeism in Conte Community School hovering around 50%. This is an elementary school we are talking about. 50% of elementary aged students at Conte are repeatedly absent every day.

This is just mind blowing to me. The kids who skip or are allowed to skip elementary school, have ZERO chance of success in life.

“Conte’s chronic absenteeism rate dropped by 4 percentage points, from 52 percent in the 2021-22 school year to 48 percent last year…”

Here’s a look at the staff positions each Pittsfield Public school will have to cut for next school year’s budget proposal | Central Berkshires | berkshireeagle.com

It brings me to my next point. Why hasn’t OB and the DEI (Didn’t Earn It) office begun to address this problem?

According to Mass Public Schools website, the demographic of Conte is a majority of people of color:

Black 22.7
Hispanic 28.7
Multi-Race 12.9
Total (63.3% minority)

White 34.7

Not to mention, 88.5% of the school is low-income.

Wouldn’t the DEI office serve a better mission trying to get minority students into schools, so they can better educate themselves and prepare for their successes in the future?

Then again, that would be holding low-income, people of color, accountable. I don’t believe that’s allowed anymore.

Probably much easier pushing out the “white privilege” narrative, huh OB?

Maybe the absenteeism is a defense against the anti-parental programming at these schools. Send your children to a school at your own risk. In a year you will be battling cell phones, social media first. then gender ideology follows fast. Calculus, literature are not on the menu.

Most of the parents who cared about their children but lived in the Conte district opted them out a long time ago because they wanted to give their child hope.. Some of the others probably do not care one way or the other. but there used to be some parental accountability for your kid being in school. Is that a thing gone by? I mean in Pittsfield.

Two observations as a parent run down. 1) all schools are in it together. You cannot “opt out”. The Marxist ideology is the Law.

Leads me to 2. Parents are persona non grata at schools. You play defense. That’s it. The teach the child to disrespect and hate the parent. Hence, you as a parent play defense.

The School Admin plays one game and its it’s hardball and brass knuckles.

Those numbers don’t in themselves provide much for conclusions though. I am not clear why POC is a demographic fact or at least how one could derive conclusions from it. Euro ancestry Americans are not a supermajority? Neither is anyone else. Black, hisp, Euro roughly the same with Black being the smallest group.

The ‘multi-race’ group is completely undefined and it reminds of the 19th century racist origins of these demographic groups.

I would say that the 88.5% low income is the number to focus on. Poverty & income is ‘race’ (whatever that is) neutral.

Why are the career politicians a lot better off than the fictional Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski working-class family who lives and pays taxes and fees in Pittsfield, Massachusetts?

Why do some lobbyists in Boston, the Swamp and beyond make 7-figure per fiscal year salaries legally bribing the fictional Massachusetts State Representative Sellout Shakedown and/or PAC Man Richie Neal?

How come so many Pot Kings in Massachusetts – including Pittsfield’s Pot King Luciforo – are suing municipalities over the HCAs fees they paid their host communities for their marijuana permits many years ago now?

Why is Governor Maura Healey cutting state funding for Social Services, while adding state funding for gambling, which is really regressive taxation?

Why is both Pittsfield’s municipal government and the Massachusetts state government alike so much more expensive than similar municipalities and state governments?

I recently read a news article that way back in 1997, Beacon Hill lawmakers were working on passing an $18 billion state budget. 27 years later in present day 2024, they are working on passing a $58 billion state budget. I did the math, and $18 billion adjusted for inflation is $35 billion rounded up in 2024. That means that the Massachusetts state budget’s net increase adjusted for inflation is $23 billion.

The government is growing larger, the career politicians are getting richer, the greedy lobbyists are making up to 7-figure per year salaries, while the rest of us are pounding sand.

There is a reason statists despise the religious.

“But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”

10Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. 11He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. 12Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. 13He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. 15He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. 16Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle c and donkeys he will take for his own use. 17He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”

19But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. 20Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”

21When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the Lord. 22The Lord answered, “Listen to them and give them a king.”

Hello Gov. Maura Healey,

I saw the headline, but I am unable to read the news article:

SUBSCRIBER ONLY: “Republicans slam Maura Healey, saying she’s ‘determined to infiltrate New Hampshire with her failed policy ideas’” – “Former Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire isn’t running against Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, but you might think she is, considering party messaging.”, By Matthew Medsger, Boston Herald, April 8, 2024: Gov. Maura Healey’s name has frequently been on the lips of former U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte as she runs to replace outgoing Gov. Chris Sununu.

Please keep in mind that while Kelly Ayotte is using you as her scapegoat in her 2024 campaign for Governor of New Hampshire:

* Kelly Ayotte is endorsing Donald Trump for U.S. President in 2024, but she refused to endorse Trump 8 years prior after Trump’s hot mic: “Grab women by their [genitals]”.

* In 2013, after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in New Town, Connecticut, Kelly Ayotte was the ONLY U.S. Senator in the entire Northeastern Region of our country to vote against keeping school children safe from school shootings, which through present day in 2024 still leaves children vulnerable to school shootings.

* Kelly Ayotte went along with the Republican U.S. Senators in not allowing Merrick Garland to receive a confirmation vote as a nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.

* As I live near Nashua, NH, people told me that Kelly Ayotte works for a defense contractor named BAE Systems in Nashua, NH, whereby she makes over $500,000 per year and she uses her political connections in the Swamp to get defense contracts for BAE Systems.

* Kelly Ayotte is pro-life. Kelly Ayotte supports the Republican Party’s anti-reproductive rights agenda.

When Kelly Ayotte attacks you, Maura Healey, please know that I am on your side. I believe that you are a great Governor of Massachusetts.

Best wishes,

Jon Melle

MARCHETTI needs to consolidate schools and abolish all new positions for the last 8 years. No new projects for 5 years and no subsidizing developers for 5 years.Tell the public what we would save by getting rid of just the new positions.Stop digging PETE

On the Federal Budget a more startling analysis (but less colorful) can be found at https://www.concordcoalition.org/ The Concord Coalition uses data from the Congressional Budget Office (www.cbo.gov) which is almost as stunning. In short, we are borrowing so much that we could not enter the European Union with our finances. Both Biden and Trump are using the budget to buy votes, Biden probably more than Trump.

Why does anyone think this will be different at the local level? In Indiana we have a budget surplus but balanced budgets are required by law and the R’s control the state. In Massachusetts, the D’s control the state and spending is as the Planet describes– like a drunken sailor.
