GARBAGE IN, GARBAGE OUT: AN ANOMALY OF CERTAINTIES IN TRASHY BITCHFIELD

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION AUG. 30-SEPT. 1, 2024) — The comforting thing about Two-Pete Bitchfield is the security provided by the anomaly of certainties.

  • It is certain that the riff-raff and scum who stagger into and out of Pancho’s in the 150 block of North Street will draw the attention of the licensing board. Even in this forlorn city, there’s a limit to how much projectile vomiting and gun play will be tolerated.
  • It is certain that when a person scratches the ground at PEDAville they’ll release a plume of PCBs. You’ll recall how Gerry Doyle’s barroom politics let GE off the hook when it decided to pack up, leaving polluted air, soil, and water.
  • It is certain that Bitchfield government will keep raising your taxes and cutting your services.
  • It is certain that those same Fatsos will gorge themselves to excess at the public trough like the pigs they are.
  • It is certain the city will mess with garbage collection and screw it up, because … $$$.

Of course, we all know the appeal the trash game has for organized crime. It’s been that way since cities began jobbing out trash pickup to private, outside companies. The Mob loves trash for several reasons.

Let THE PLANET count the ways.

Garbage–um, “trash management”:

  • Is an easy business to infiltrate.
  • Provides a necessary service.
  • Is legal.
  • Offers control.
  • Is hugely profitable.
  • Allows easy skimming off the top before dollars enter the books.
  • Gives Players an easy way to launder money obtained from other sources (drugs, stolen goods, protection rackets, counterfeiting, prostitution, gambling).

———- ooo ———-

Bitchfield has entered into a new agreement with Casella Waste Management. THE PLANET can’t know and therefore can’t comment on how Casella does business. We do know that if one bothers to research it, the company has a history of legal problems. Charges have included polluting water, leaking dumps, drivers suing to get paid.

Of course, one must assume Casella’s work with Bitchfield will be above board. The Revamped Accumulative System of Harvesting (TRASH) will be square from the books to the barrels.

The easiest way to understand TRASH is to

(1) Enroll as an engineering major at Union College

(2) Get your master’s at the Rochester Institute of Technology

(3) Onto MIT for a Ph.D and post doc work receptacle placement. The next best option is to consult the city’s website for info.

———- ooo ———-

Here’s how TRASH works in a discarded nut shell:

  • Residents get two 48-gallon containers, one for regular trash and one for recyclables. Extras containers will set you back $160/yr.
  • Trash will be collected every week.
  • Recyclables work on alternating weeks. The city website has a color-coded calendar for allowed recyclables.
  • Not accepted for recycle: Plastic bags, bagged recyclables, clothing/textiles, food waste/liquids, tanglers such as rope or hoses, scrap metal, batteries of any kind, electronics, wood, medical waste, hazardous materials, explosives, toys, hangers, shoes, waxy cups or plates, food bags or wrappers, plastic wrap or film, shrink wrap, tarps, diapers, human/pet or yard waste, tires or rubber, Styrofoam™, napkins, paper towels, tissues, plastic utensils, register tape, condiment packets, straws, stirrers, coffee pods, ceramics, aerosol cans, shredded paper. Got all that?
  • Placement of the receptacles will need surveying equipment, micrometers, and plumb lines for the mechanical arms to automatically lift and dump. What happens to containers that aren’t placed properly? Who knows? Bitchfield being Bitchfield, lots of them will be off the mark. City directions say the containers must be placed on flat ground, even with snow. Can you imagine how “streamlined” that’s going to be, with so many curbsides unshoveled, not to mention the mountains of snow washing over curbside by the race drivers Bitchfield hires to drive snow plows.

Got large items that the city will no longer collect such as yard waste or large items? No problem. All you have to do is pay $120 for a sticker that allows access to the Hubbard Avenue collection site.

———- ooo ———-

You can be sure that Pittsfield politicians love the multimillion TRASH system for which the Kapanskis will foot the bill.

There’s gold in them thar’ containers!

Have the Petey twins explained just how an elderly person is supposed to “position” his trash receptacles on trash day during or after a snow storm when the snowbanks are two or three feet high and hard packed and immovable? So what if you “position” it properly and along comes a snow plow and “repositions” it by plowing snow into it and maybe tipping it over? Do you need to position it right in your driveway blocking ingress egress?

Went to Home Depot yesterday to see exactly how big a 48 gallon toter was. Not very big and I see bags getting wedged inside especially if they freeze in the winter. This looks to be a not at all fun chore for the elderly. Going to put mine out once as close to where it is suppose to be as I can get it and they can figure it out from there.

If you fill a trash bag full in your house it may be too wide to fit into these toters so you may have to use more, not cheap, bags and fill them less.

Probably will be putting recyclables out once a month as I do not have that much. And I recycle pretty much everything eligible.

Maybe split costs with a neighbor or family member on a second toter.

Not fun trying to razor slice up bigger cardboard boxes to fit in toter if you have arthritis.

Does Casella have a radio channel I can monitor on the scanner cuz this is going to be entertaining?

I was on a site that visitors to the berkshires ask what places they should see suggested by locals .After weeks of suggestions not once did anyone say Wahconah park baseball field. We locals pretend people are interested as a tourist site. Not one penny never mind 25 million dollars should be spent in this floodplain.Fix your grand stand and move on.

Still have not heard a good reason (I have gotten a lot of “garbage responses”) of why the city put $500,000.00 to upgrade the incinerator only to dismantle it 2 years later. The incinerator was making energy out of garbage and cutting out an enormous amount of trash out of landfills. This facility never had complaints in the 30 years it operated, except from politicians, which leads one to suspect some sort of kick back. I was recently in a large city and guess what they were still using garbage personnel picking up the garbage bags by hand

How about the reconstruction years ago around Pontoosic Lake or the Bossidy bucks qualmbash or an idea to throw tens of millions for a Stadium under water and no attendance regardless for the last forty years when it was open. This nonsense continually happens here.

Re-posting as the robot got this one in wee hours of last night:

Independence is the cure!

https://x.com/NicoleShanahan/status/1829291690277966165?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s VP pick, Nicole Shanahan, has launched a direct assault on the epidemic plaguing the political landscape: Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

The ad opens with a stark question: “Are you or your loved ones suffering from illnesses such as TDS?”

It paints a vivid picture of individuals who have become so consumed by their hatred for Trump that they are willing to overlook critical issues facing the country, including skyrocketing inflation, rampant illegal immigration, and corporate corruption.

The message is clear: this obsession with Trump has turned rational discourse into an echo chamber of anger and denial. The ad suggests that many Americans are more focused on vilifying Trump than on engaging with the real challenges that affect their daily lives.”

The ad introduces the concept of “Independence,” presenting it as a remedy for those afflicted by TDS. It encourages viewers to break free from the chains of mainstream media narratives and embrace critical thinking.

Throughout the ad, two narrators, described as former TDS sufferers, share their stories of awakening.

The first admits to having once believed that “Donald Trump and the movement he has encouraged are a threat to democracy,” but now, with the help of “Independence,” recognizes that the mainstream media is controlled by a “corrupt oligarchy” that censors free speech and undermines democracy.
The second former sufferer confesses to having “blindly hated” whoever their party opposed, without regard for facts or policy. Thanks to “Independence,” they claim to have rediscovered a commitment to democratic principles and the well-being of the country.

The ad concludes with a sharp warning that “Independence may not be for everyone,” especially those who enjoy being “lied to about your president’s cognitive abilities,” support “Orwellian totalitarianism,” or are excited about “communist fiscal policy.”

It lists the “side effects” of Independence, which include “an awakening of rational thought,” the ability to “successfully identify propaganda,” and a newfound “love of democracy.”

We can all thank Bathhouse Barry Obama, and his repealing the Smith-Mundt Act (1948), in 2012, allowing the US Government to use propaganda against THEIR OWN CITIZENS.

You see how effective it’s been.

Many left-leaning posters on here, Chelsea, Snark, Larry, Ox, JM, and TSC, have been asked to provide us with Kamala’s platform.

They are so consumed by TDS, they HAVE NOT provided us anything except the usual, “Project 2025,” “it’s not Trump,” and on and on.

Connecting POTUS Trump to project 2025 is another invention of the Leftist controlled MSM. And the TDS sufferers have swallowed it hook line and sinker.

The brainwashed, who formerly extolled and championed “coherent” Traitor Joe, now stump for the magically installed “Democratic” duo of Commieala and Tampon Timmy (boys/men need tampons in their restrooms according to Tim). They were quickly are thoroughly conditioned on repeating that 2025 mantra connecting Trump.

Funny thing is, none of them can come up with ONE, good thing the Leftists have done for, rather than done to, Americans/America the last 4 years?

Well, Trap, as long as you’re asking, I feel her ticket has the right approach for the future of the country. Harris has returned positive affect to government. Harris is more forward-thinking than Trump, and focuses more on the positive than Trump, whose main strategy is to humiliate and bully.

I sympathize with Trump supporters because of the price of gas, groceries and housing. But I believe that those prices will come down and that the alternative to Harris is just too terrible to contemplate.

The prices of gas food and housing is a direct result of 3 1/2 years of failed “Bidenomics”.

“Forward thinking ” is importing unchecked 22+ MILLION CRIMINAL ALIENS, and getting them illegally registered to vote. F.orward thinking of ensuring their own relelection/Selection

All the while giving them unearned housing, food ,medical, drivers licenses, and education. All this is both paid for by American taxpayers and withheld from American citizens.
Even the poorest Americans and homeless US Veterans of war.

This includes free housing in luxury hotels, thousands in free cash and food/month, and medical treatments which overwhelm hospital ERs. The result is sick and injured Americans not receiving needed medical treatments.

You know who is the Pot King in Pittsfield. His last name rhymes with Luciforo. In 2023, he gave Peter Marchetti’s mayoral campaign $1,000, and in return, he received a city FREE CASH pot settlement of $341,000. His net profit: $340,000.

The only business in Pittsfield are SCAMS by spoiled brats who would be nobodies if they lived anywhere else. But Peter Marchetti & Andrea F. Nuciforo, Jr. are both in their 60’s, which means that in around 2 decades, they will become nothing more than bad memories.

In Bitchfield town, where troubles brew,
Lived Marky Maypo, spoiled through and through.
With Voltron Pork Chop Pete by his side,
They ruled the council with arrogance and pride.

Cutting services, they took great delight,
Leaving the residents to face the blight.
Trash piled high, streets filled with grime,
Yet they found new ways to tax every dime.

“Too much trash?” they’d sneer and decree,
“Pay an extra fee, it’s our policy.”
The poor residents groaned, burdened with care,
While Marky and Pete lived without a care.

No trash pickup, the city in decay,
But the duo’s greed grew day by day.
In their lavish homes, they laughed and dined,
Ignoring the plight of those left behind.

But whispers of change began to rise,
In the hearts of the people, fire in their eyes.
They rallied together, voices strong,
Determined to right every wrong.

For in unity, they found their might,
To challenge the spoiled brat and his knight.
And in the end, justice would prevail,
As the people of Bitchfield told their tale.

When I was a kid there were flocks of pigeons on North street. Some peeps did not like them so much and they were eventually dispatched. You are not suppose to use poison as owls eat pigeons and can also die if they eat poisoned pigeons. So no one is owning up to this and if you take note, no pigeons on North street even now huh?

No trees, no owls.

What is a tree plantation consisting of one single tree species called?
Most monoculture crop species plantations consist of a single particular variety representing the same genotype with almost no variation. Similar in forestry, clonal plantations consist of trees that are genetically identical to each other because of originating from the same parent material.

SNOWY OWLS ARRIVAL
Although a rare winter visitor, the snowy owl does occasionally visit Western Massachusetts, occurring in Pittsfield, for instance, almost always in the center of the city. Arriving early this month and leaving by mid-March, it most often perched on rooftops. I always thought it was for the easy meals — the many pigeons downtown.

Scott Weidensaul, one of the directors of National Audubon Society’s Project SNOWstorm, says the clues point to a big irruption [of snowy owls], but the group also fully admits there’s no way to definitively know how big it could be or if it will even happen at all.

Letter: “I question Pittsfield leaders’ spending priorities”
The Berkshire Eagle, August 29, 2024

To the editor: When it comes to making decisions about how tax revenues are allocated in Pittsfield, there are “nice to haves” and then there are “need to haves.”

Clearly, the city and its economic development partners are working hard to attract new businesses and employment opportunities. One of the first questions prospective businesses and investors ask during their discernment process is “what is the quality of the schools?” and not “does the city have a baseball park suitable for the Futures League?” After all, many employees make a decision to join a company and/or relocate based on quality of life, with the quality of the school system at the top of the list.

As I understand from the Aug. 27 Berkshire Eagle article “Green light to design park,” after $3 million in federal funds are considered, there will be a $10 million funding gap for Wahconah Park’s restoration. And that gap could continue to grow, based on a number of unknowns. Guess who might bear much of the burden of that $10 million or more? The taxpayers of Pittsfield.

Yet this spring, the city could not find $200,000 to fund Chromebooks for our students. (“Pittsfield Public Schools shave $200,000 for computer replacements to offset cuts made by City Council,” Eagle, June 27.) Educators and paraprofessionals hold their breath each budget cycle, wondering if their jobs are secure. Pittsfield paid $1.9 million in school choice fees to the Lenox school district in 2022-23 alone.

Where are our priorities?

Our city leadership needs to take a strategic look at what is really important when it comes to attracting new businesses. Hint: It’s not a ballpark.

Good point MT. Another good indicator, that shows how far we have devolved down the knowledge pole due to the lowered standards/expectations in our schools today, are the questions asked in that childhood classic game “ Go to the head of the class” Get a hold of that game and read the questions which will give you a glimpse of the learning level expected of young people back in the 50’s/60’s. It is a real eyeopener, as most college students/graduates could not answer correctly the bulk if the questions asked in that game.

Compare the TV show Jeporady’s topics in the 1960s with host Art Flemming, with that of today.

Toy’s that taught children how to build things or make basic electrical circuits.

Agree about the textbooks. We’ve been educating literate generations with chalk and boards for hundreds possibly of generations. My primer’s desks had inkwells from prior days.

The cost of education is horribly overblown.

Listen ~

Hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She’s comin’ in, 12:30 flight
Her moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hopin’ to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say
“Hurry, boy, it’s waiting there for you”
It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There’s nothin’ that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had, ooh-hoo
The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what’s right
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what’s deep inside
Frightened of this thing that I’ve become
It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There’s nothin’ that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had, ooh-hoo
Hurry, boy, she’s waiting there for you
It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There’s nothin’ that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa (I bless the rains)
I bless the rains down in Africa (I bless the rains)
I bless the rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa (ooh, I’m gonna take the time)
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had, ooh-hoo

Illegals get drivers Licences no vetting? How the hell does the R M V know if they haven’t had major violations from their own country? Drivers in Massachusetts are getting info from out of state for violations occurred in that state, decades ago and R M V will suspend your License, clean record or not since? S C A M. It’s a con game for hiring a lawyer to fight it.

The Petey twins are spending so much time on toters, just wondering if either one of them have taken notice to the many posts on local Facebook websites showing the pure filth in restaurants especially the restrooms. Where is our health department? Are the days gone when it was the City Health departments job to check out public businesses? What do we need to “create” another six-figure position to accomplish this? This city is getting filthier by the day. Do we need to remind the Petey twins that the city is larger than just North Street?

Agree. Some are disgusting and if the restrooms are filthy you can pretty much be assured the kitchen is as well. If local health dept. workers regularly visited eating establishments and actually did their job half the local eateries would be shut down.

Health departments and restaurants operate under their own budgets EVERYWHERE. It is as though their purpose is to enforce compliance via a cash exchange.

U.S. inflation and the job market are trending downward.

The billion-dollar hedge funds won’t lose 2 percent of their holdings, but the working-class is losing jobs.

That is the U.S. economy in a nutshell, folks!

They remain as barbaric today as before, so there is more work to do.

“Hamas on Monday taunted kin of the six hostages found slain in a Gaza tunnel by releasing haunting new footage of the victims — and warning that the gut-wrenching clips were only a teaser to their “last messages.”

The hostages, looking gaunt and exhausted, identify themselves for the camera before the footage transitions to still frames — including one threatening to release the captives’ full statements in a matter of hours, according to the terrorist propaganda video posted on Telegram.

Images of six of the hostages lined up next to each other on a gray background. The red text underneath reads “Hours & we released their last messages.”

ramping up their offensive”

Wordplay. When the US Army seized the Vosge Mountains in France, that was also ramping up their offensive. That enabled them to blunt the German’s ramping up their offensive known as the Battle of the Bulge. Wars often feature offensives, and they are are generally experienced as culminations and diminishments.

The City Council is tailored to have no more than two members representing a minority faction on the dias. (They are not ‘minority in popular representation.) The objective is to make sure that minority cannot invoke council procedures without at least one member of the majority’s consent.

If Trump wins and Project 2025 is passed into federal law, the VA would be abolished, along with the Dept. of Education, the gutting of social insurance federal programs such as Medicare and Social Security, and the stripping away of women’s rights, especially a woman’s right to privacy from the government’s moral hypocrisies.

If Trump wins, and the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent conservative rulings on federal agencies oversight authority is expanded in the future, the VA would be privatized.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/political-commentary/trump-end-veterans-affairs-department-supreme-court-1235093343/

In U.S. economic news, consumer spending is outpacing consumer spending, the federal government’s deficit spending is increasing U.S. inflation, and over the next few months, the Stock Market is going to be volatile with large swings of gains and losses. Household savings rates are low for the common family and individual.

In political news, the U.S. election is going to be a coin toss between Trump and Kamala. Overseas, in Germany, the far right is winning elections, while the extreme left is gaining ground in elections.

My thoughts on these matters are that the VA is a lifeline for me and millions of other Veterans, privatizing the VA would put hundreds of billions of dollars in the hands of greedy insurance companies (PAC Man Richie Neal’s favorite K Street lobbyist firms in the Swamp), the government’s deficit spending is caused by the wealthy paying less than they should in taxes, and massive trade deficits with foreign nations, the U.S. economy is inequitable and only benefits the billion-dollar Hedge Funds on Wall Street, the close presidential election will see well over $1 billion in campaign spending, and the distressed areas of Germany are going back in time to the 1930’s Adolf Hitler Nazi regime’s fascism and hate.

Even the I’ve proved to you a couple times now that Project 2025 is not Trump’s policy, I’m beginning to wish it was.

If current Veterans are getting kicked out of housing by Gov Healey and other democRATS, why should you keep your VA benefits JM?

Did you earn the VA benefits in combat? Or did you save a soldiers life? How about the always important, capturing the enemies flag?

I await your response.

I noticed you failed to mention Kamala’s proposed 25 Trillion in new taxes.
Question: Does the government raise more tax money by taxing a rich person 1 million dollars or taxing 100 million people 1 dollar each?
Every politician knows the answer to that question and if you don’t, there is no help for you.
So, “Millionaire’s and Billionaires must pay their fair share!” Just always remember there are more “little people” than there are millionaires and billionaires.

Did you know that corporate decision making for health insurance (compensation to providers for procedures, defining what procedures shall be compensated (eg: standard cataract lenses are fine, new vaariable lenses are not compensated)) is not determined by private corps.

Those decisions are largely guided and approved by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Maybe we would get better service if the gov did not call the shots (yeah shots – that’s something else entirely.)

Article in NYPost about elections in Germany. Background:after reunification, the wealthy Western Germany used the newly acquired East as though they were a conquered people. Western factories outsourced to the east to exploit cheap labor. Reference, suppliers German stuff joke with me how the western German reps routinely insult their eastern counterparts.

So, with the pressure of unscheduled immigration, money flying out the window to Ukrainian gangsters, the elections see eastern blocks of Germany ditching mainstream parties for the AFD and communists. It should be a warning for us.

If you had a choice, would you want Matt “Kufflinks” Kerwood managing your money?

If you had a choice, would you want Peter “Openly Gay” Marchetti spending your money?

If you had a choice, would you pay Tricia Farley Bouvier to do nothing in Boston for over 12 years?

If you had a choice, would you approve of a city FREE CASH pot settlement of $341,000 to Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior’s multi-million-dollar Berkshire Roots marijuana business?

If you had a choice, would you want Richard Neal going to the Swamp to only represent K Street corporate lobbyist firms that have nothing to do with the people who live in Western Massachusetts?

What is wrong with this picture of Pittsfield politics in 2024?

Answer: There is NOBODY representing you in the government that you pay your hard-earned taxes to in return for Kufflinks, Openly Gay, Country Buffet, Luciforo: Pittsfield’s Pot King (of lawsuits), and PAC Man.

My answer: NO! I would tell Kufflinks, Openly Gay, Country Buffet, Luciforo, and PAC Man to all GO TO HELL!
