SOME DOTS, SOME QUESTIONS

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION DEC. 27-9, 2024) — (1) “Accountability”: The action of taking responsibility for decisions and accepting the consequences therefrom.

(2) “Accountability, lack of”: Failure to do that.

Which of these describes “Official” Bitchfield?

THE PLANET realizes the rhetorical nature of this question, but it is all Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski are left with after a series of shocking revelations involving Pittsfield High School and the Berkshire Family YMCA, two local institutions ironically assigned the education, care, and safety of children. With “Officials remaining tight-lipped on details, the Kapanskis must try to connect a series of dots.

  • PHS “Dean” Lavante Wiggins nabbed on federal drug distribution charges. His alleged mule, Theodore “Monty” Williams, joins him.
  • PHS vice principal Alison Shepherd, suspected of gross sexual improprieties involving students. Incidentally, “Monty” and Alison are related by marriage (he’s hitched to her sister). It’s a small world after all.
  • PHS “Dean 2” Molly West, on administrative leave for “unspecified reasons.” Use your imagination.
  • A former teacher, Taverick “Tank” Roberson, forcibly “resigned” from PHS in 2023, on the quiet and without explanation, hired soon after by the YMCA, now on administrative leave. One other “Y” staffer joins him on similar charges. Jizzery loves company.
  • A PHS English teacher being sued by a former student on charges of sexual harassment.
  • Numerous “connected” sources telling other disgraceful tales out of school. They won’t go public because they fear retaliation and worse.

Of course, no one in “Official” Bithfield knew anything:

  • Not one member of the PHS administration or staff knew
  • Not PHS principal Maggie Esko
  • Not school supt. Jumpin’ Joe Curtiss
  • Not one administrator at Mercer
  • Not one school committee member
  • Not Mayor Peter Marchetti
  • Not council president Pete White.
  • Not a single councilor.

Nobody knew nuttin’.

Two words: “Gross incompetence.”

———- ooo ———-

By now, the allegations have turned tawdry and tired, showing the perfect amount of stress fractures befitting a city as unaccountable and corrupt as Bitchfield.

The focus now is what happens from here.

  • Will the “independent” probe expose the full depth of the scandal?
  • What is the timetable? When will it begin? How long will it take?
  • How much will it cost? Who will pay?
  • Will heads roll?
  • Will taxpayers finally get traction with respect to an overfunded, underperforming, morally depraved school department?
  • Or will the whole rotten mess just disappear, as has happened in the past when sexual improprieties involving children have surfaced?

Some Other Questions, Observations

  • At least two qualified school staffers, both with master’s degrees in education, applied for the “Dean” position that went to Wiggins. They were turned down. Both were white. Why?
  • Who hired Wiggins and the rest? Taxpayers want names.
  • What were the criteria used in these hires?
  • How is man with a “degree” from an online diploma mill qualified to be superintendent of schools?
  • What are we to make of the holier-than-thou five women councilors led by politicizing, game-playing “Help Me” Rhonda Serre, leaving out the men in calling for this past Monday’s special hearing?
  • PLANET Thumbs Up: Earl Persip for comments forcefully uttered at the meeting. PLANET Thumbs Down: Kathy Amuso for violating rules of order in trying to edit a citizen speaker.
  • Quote of the evening: “You know sometimes, good people do bad things. But when good people do bad things, there are consequences to all of us who do bad things–Peter Marchetti (our emphasis). Was the mayor speaking in code?

BLAST FROM THE PAST: In this 2016 photo, Lavante Wiggins and friend give the camera the one-finger salute sign. Note wad of cash the-now-PHS “Dean of Students” holds. Oh, the car is not a Maserati.

  • * Why was Wiggins previously placed on administrative leave at least twice? It was never explained. A PSD source said it was “very mysterious and hushed up. It greatly bothered staff, but everyone was afraid to speak out for fear of being called a ‘racist.’ That feeling of fear still exists in the building.”
  • Why was it okay for Wiggins not to report for school on opening day, school year 2022-23? Why was he allowed to remain out, with pay, until October?
  • What else has occurred that remains hidden?

THE PLANET knows only too well of the fear that keeps people quiet. That fear permeates the entire Pittsfield School Department and all of “Official” Pittsfield.

A law firm has been called to investigate.

THE PLANET shall call in the priests for an exorcism and pest control for a fumigation.

They weaponized the schools to create voters not functioning adults. Notice what they did standardize across all schools? Not the math, reading and science curriculum. Instead they standardized transgendered studies, homosexual studies, passivity, compliance with
mandates…everything woke.

Trump’s making a list, he’s checking it twice.

Gonna make sure they’re deported by I.C.E.

Tom Homan is coming to town…………

He sees them where they’re stealing, and hiding in Section 8.

When Maura Healey harbors them she’ll be locked in jail, that’s great!!!

Too many mayors, governors and activists consider the illegals as citizens now! They even have the citizens privilege  of VOTING and DRIVERS LICENSES!
Guess Congress will have to form a committee to specify and codify what actually qualifies one as a “citizen”.

If you remember our esteemed MA Illegal Aliens Rep-Tricia Farley-Country Buffet, told us that giving illegal alien’s DL’s was so they could “safely commute to work, school, and doctors appointments, and not fear the police.”

”It’s not to vote,” stated TFCB, when asked about her critic’s bringing this up in opposition to her sponsored bill giving illegals DL’s.

TFCB even gave us the ASSurance in the bill because, “Chief Wynn said it’s safe.”

No studies, no opposing opinions, just Chief Wynn’s stamp of approval. Biz az uze-u-al in Bitchfield.

Much like Linda Flat Tyer, playing ball got the chief a pretty cushy gig upon retirement-great views and not having to deal with the mess Flat’s DEI hiring policies have created.

Not bad.

I believe the officials in Bitchfield hired the law firm Bulkley Richardson, to give the citizens the impression that “things will get done,” under the guise of “it’s a law firm.”

Let me ask you, would you hire a law firm that offers a “safe space” for their attorney’s, or would you want a law firm that has junkyard dogs for attorneys?

Home – Bulkley Richardson

Bulkley Richardson offers a “safe space” for their attorneys and employees. I’ve worked all of my life in many different types of jobs. I have never had a “safe space” at any former employer of mine.

What exactly is a “safe space” at work and what’s the function for it? What happened to taking a walk to cool down?

And as I posted a few days ago, for those like me hoping to eradicate the bullsh!t DEI hiring practices and programs in Bitchfield and Picklefield Public Scohols, it ain’t gonna happen. The officials at Bitchfield made sure of it, with hiring this firm to conduct the “investigation.”

Diversity – Bulkley Richardson

If you look at one of their top goals, it is to “make diversity and inclusion a core attribute…..”

Does this sound like this law firm will get to the bottom of the real problem(s) in Bitchfield to you?

No, me either.

I agree Dan. I’m not familiar with the city’s policy for placing this out to bid, but it seems as if the citizens weren’t offered an alternative to choose from.

I’d like to further add to your list of questions, *Is any paid employee within the law firm related to anyone in the city of Bitchfield? If yes, who and what’s the relationship. *Have any of your attorneys within the firm done any social justice activism work? If so, what? *If DEI is such a “needed program” in your law firm, explain to us why? *Doesn’t the federal government already have laws on the books regarding hiring practices and racial discrimination?

I thought about that, but for what, criminal or civil charges?

I believe it’d be a conflict of interest to do both. I certainly would want a different set of eyes on a potential criminal and/or a civil suit coming down the road.

You watch how fast these youngsters lawyer up, when word of cash payouts hits the streets.

The civil lawsuits will spread across Bitchfield, faster than certain school administrators spread their legs for juvenile students.

Mayor Maypo and Wimpy White better lawyer up and lawyer up FAST.

Linda Flat Tyer too. If I were them, I’d toss her under the sh!tpile faster than Wimpy White devours a triple-meat burger with cheese.

People might keep quiet on the low-key, but under the pains and penalties of perjury of a civil deposition or a criminal investigation, they tend to have moments of clarity IMO.

The idea of a law firm suggests a trick to secure legal representation and allow them to release a sanitized report that is protected from investigation by attorney privileges as pertains to individual’s risk. Does the parties represented by the attorney in this case enjoy attorney client privileges and can the public get full transparency via FOIA?

Independent Investigation Standards: For investigations requiring absolute impartiality, even a perception of bias could make her a less-than-ideal candidate. In such cases, selecting someone without ties to the local legal or judicial system might be preferable.

Ethical Considerations: Legal ethics require investigators to avoid not only actual conflicts but also the appearance of impropriety. Justice Rup’s extensive legal background could be both an asset and a liability depending on the specifics of her connections.

It would be prudent for an independent ethics committee or legal panel to review her connections and prior engagements before appointing her to investigate such a case.

The U.S.A’s homeless rate reached a record high in 2024. The underclass population keeps growing larger in size in the 21st Century. The career politicians keep raising taxes to pay for social services and public education, but at the rates we are heading, we will either be billionaires or on social services ourselves. The economic model since the mid-1970’s through 2025 omits the middle-class family unit and small businesses who are subsidizing the super-wealthy and paying for the large underclass population’s social services. Our country is headed in the wrong direction. We need a strong middle-class again.

I was searching my records for a pubic address to the city council after my charter objection to the 2024 budget, delivered June, 2023. It pertains to the sexual abuse of children in the public schools. It was framed around religious anti-semitism, which of course is hatred not strictly of religious jews but of those who hold sacred the Old Testament or otherwise properly known as Tanakh. It embarrassed some, but I was certain then and now of the truth in them. I thank Marlene who gave me the spiritual strength to endure two years of hopeless and grinding conflict with what I saw to be one against mental and spiritual rogues and dogs.

Actually, pushing pronoun training discriminates against Judaism and Christianity. We are told to lie about biological gender which violates of the 9th Commandment. We’re told to deny our beliefs that G-d created man and woman; to set our moral compass on mankind’s teachings and idols and not on G-d’s, violating the 2nd and 3rd Commandments. I recently witnessed teachers modeling gender identity language to 1st graders at Morningside. The faithful must teach their children to violate the 5th Commandment and instead listen to teachers and peers. No wonder I mentioned my religion in relation to pronoun training. The pain leaked out you see.

Ten Commandments, written in profanity. Note that murder is not distinguished in severity from honoring your Mother and Father, or bearing false witness (speaking falsehoods in defiance of the Real.)

I You shall have no other gods before Me.
II You shall make no idols.
III You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
IV Keep the Sabbath day holy.
V Honor your father and your mother.
VI You shall not murder.
VII You shall not commit adultery.
VIII You shall not steal
IX You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
X. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

Surely by now Marchetti and White have solved the Rubiks cube like puzzle of “who hired these good people who do bad things”.

And the fact that they have shoveled the “investigation” out of their hands would suggest they now have cover not to answer any more questions. But if they cannot even tell the taxpayers who hired a cocaine dealer and others with questionable backgrounds, then there is definitely a cover up in progress. Very simple basic information that no one should have to go hunting for.

If Marchetti and White are hiding these names then they are a HUGE part of the problem as hiding stuff is why we are where we are at now. They are waving a reg flag that they are a high level part of the problem. A very good area for a newspaper to report on if they were allowed to.

PPS needs to clean house of the current Administration. Hire 1/2 the number of qualified people that will do twice the work, for 1/2 the cost.

Sochol Committee needs to resign and Mayor/City Council recall votes.

Hello blogger Dan Valenti,

Please consider writing a book based on the 1843 classic “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens with the inspiration for Ebenezer Scrooge being John Elwes (1714 – 1789) of Berkshire (England) who was a Member of Parliament in Great Britain, and who inherited the estate Marcham Park in Berkshire (England) and a second more substantial estate from his wealthy uncle years later, as well as James “Jemmy” Wood (1756 – 1836) who was an ultra-wealthy banker in Gloucester, England.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AekyJfzTRhc

Instead of John Elwes and “Jemmy” Wood, you could use the Berkshire (Massachusetts) Scrooge-like men: big business greedy lobbyist Dan Bosley and greedy millionaire Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior, both of whom have second residences in Boston, as the modern inspiration for Ebenezer Scrooge. Instead of the contrasting characters who represented the good sides of human nature and human behavior, you could use me – Jon Melle – who is the former Berkshire political Have NOT that we all know and love.

Charles Dickens fought for the little guy in the 19th Century just like you do in the 21st Century.

Happy New Year!

Jonathan A. Melle

P.S. Please don’t forget to include and write about the fictional Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski hard-working-class family who lives in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who the one (Democratic) party machine treats as a doormat (on a good day), a toilet to shit on (on the bad days), and their ATM (everyday).

Bernie Baran says hi.
For the few of you who do not know his story he was a 17 year old gay kid here in Pittsfield who was given three life sentences for the pedophilia of local daycare children where he was a teacher’s aide that was committed by the drug addict baby mama boyfriend, who gave her child a venereal disease.
Because the baby mama and baby mama boyfriend were paid informants for the PPD, and because it is so corrupt here they knew they could get away with it, it was decided to blame the fag, to use the terminology of that era.
Even though we are seeing some transparency and what looks like the right moves from our city council, i want to caution everybody not to get our hopes up that any heads Will roll here and if they do will they be the right ones?
I am surprised at and disappointed by Mayor Marchetti’s comment. I know he is a politician and this was definitely poorly phrased politicking on his part and I have to say I one of the reasons ‘m disappointed with him is because while all the other gay men in Pittsfield fled for their lives, Pete stayed here and he not only stayed here, he went into local politics and I just love the thought of an openly gay man being on all these committees because f*** you Pittsfield you will have to look at a gay man every time you turn around in local politics I love that he did that and the fact that he did that shows to me that he has a set of balls bigger than any one of us, and that he parlayed that into a successful career in local politics? I’m not going to lie; in many ways he’s a hero of mine.
His good people do bad things comment is clearly politicking to the school committee when what we as a community need to hear from him is that the school committee is being sacked and we are going to start fresh.
You can make all the I love a parade gay men jokes you want but the reality of Marchetti putting on a small town local parade that makes the national news and draws 50,000 people to the sidewalks landing North Street year after year when are year-round population is less than that says so much about the connections and good working relationships he has across New England,
That is valuable political and social capital not just to him but to us as a community and let’s hold his feet to the fire here.
Mayor Marchetti please tap into that integrity and love of Pittsfield that you have shown us over the years get rid of the school committee and don’t let this turn into another Bernie Baran debacle.

Outfox: you write as a romantic, and a very talented one at that by your writing. I wanted to work well with him, and I respected him for the times he gave me good advice. He was generous when not sitting at that central seat. I would say, however, that there are very few living I would call a hero. You have to sacrifice both life and treasure and actually risk everything to own that honor.

Yes the mayor is ambitious. Good for him. But if you watch the entire city council special meeting you will be disappointed by the mayor’s words compared to others who spoke that night. Open mic randos did a better job. This was his moment to lead and it wasn’t great.

Marchetti, and D-stoops who voted that offal are the problem.

What has the fat queer done so far? Fixed PPS? Done ANYTHING to combat drugs , violence, and theft? ANY new jobs?

Balanced budget?/slash PPS funding might be a START.

The entire PPS Administration should be fired now, all of them, many prosecuted.

Sochol Committee resign, and Peety and friends on the City Clownncil have a recall vote.

I find it outrageous that if a taxpayer got out of control and open Mike they would be immediately removed yet. Had a city counselor got out of control and nothing is done.

2025 is your election year. With the Council and School Committee joining forces in this scandal, you could bring on a slaughter at the polling booth and sweep all of the critters out of office.

You now have your single issue race. Keep it consistent, simple, and hit it hard and win.

Just wish we could dump “clueless” Lumpy Marchetti in 2025. We are stuck with him; we will be lucky if we have a city left by the time he is up for re-election.

All you need is 15 honest men and women to stake out their turf, hit every door and say they are running to fix the mess. You will not have another opportunity like this. That it happens at the end of 2024, before the calendar page is turned is providential.

What did Kamaar know and when did he know it?

D E I explains a persons past shouldn’t affect their future? I believe that’s the foundation of Restorative Justice bullshit also in practical terms. The problem is twofold here. A past was forgiven but the future is not, that’s the trade off. What the powers to be will submit no harm no foul if the litigant is just removed. Problem, you have very serious charges here That can’t be swept under the rug.

Also someone, ones, have to be disciplined,( job firing) for this cluster of decisions. Help us Rhonda.

December 29, 2024

I read the Boston Globe. They report that state lawmakers in Boston giveaway billions of dollars per fiscal year in state tax breaks that correlate with the big dollar campaign donors, while some lobbyists on Beacon Hill report 7-figure salaries, and retired state lawmakers such as greedy lobbyist Dan Bosley never actually left Beacon Hill, while the retired state lawmakers such as greedy lobbyist Dan Bosley collect their state public pensions plus perks that is on top of their lucrative lobbyists earnings; there are a lot of landlords who serve in the Massachusetts State Legislature, while the commonwealth has an affordable housing crisis, as well as many state lawmakers working and/or investing their personal finances in lucrative side gigs; the so-called “full time” state lawmakers earn a base salary of $91,000 per fiscal year plus their lucrative committee leadership stipends, while some state committees rarely meet throughout the legislative calendar year(s); Governor Maura Healey is one of the highest paid governors in the 50 states, while she uses state credit cards to stay at 5-star hotels along with other fancy amenities for herself and her top staff members; the state legislative leaders are overly secretive, while there is a push to audit the Massachusetts State Legislature in 2025; the annual billion-dollar in net profits per fiscal year Massachusetts State Lottery is really regressive taxation and inequitable public policy that unfairly targets the underclass and working-class residents, along with the commonwealth’s 3 casino’s and sports betting, while many people, especially the youth, struggle with gambling addictions; the commonwealth’s lucrative relatively new marijuana (predatory) industry recently surpassed $7 billion in retail sales in late-2024; there are the wealthy-few suburban “Starbucks” towns outside of Boston, while the rest of the (Have Not) towns in Massachusetts are called the “Dunkin Donuts” towns; public education favors the wealthy-few “Starbucks” towns in Massachusetts, while the “Dunkin Donuts” towns are falling behind the so-called learning curve; population loss in Massachusetts is flowing to places such as Florida and New Hampshire, which have effective Sunshine Laws on their books; most of the career politicians in Massachusetts are Democrats (some of them are phonies, though), which makes the commonwealth a one party blue state; Massachusetts is known for its progressive politics, but the state and local government is excessively top-down and marginalizes the common citizens from participating in democracy, while state and local so-called elections in Massachusetts are mostly non-competitive; the news media (press) is often shut out of public information by the secrecy in Massachusetts state government; the state government is facing an always increasing cost of billions-of-dollars per fiscal year to pay for its costly social services, especially to care for the large influx of immigrants – some of whom are here illegally – with Donald Trump’s soon-to-be administration threatening to cut off federal aid dollars to cities such as Boston and states such as Massachusetts if Trump deems them sanctuary cities/states, while the state government is facing a pending state budget deficit that will lead to financial pain for the taxpayers of Massachusetts; and, Hell would freeze over if the Boston Globe to the Berkshire Eagle (Dirty Bird rag) would publish a letter like this by Jon Melle.

Curtis could destroy records then rehearse his story.Look for payoff associated with resignations for 15 years.Marchetti must tell Curtis hes suspended for the duration of the investigation
