JUMPIN’ JOE FORCED OUT BY THE ‘PANICKY’ SUITS … THEY FEAR SCHOOL SEX, DRUG SCANDALS MIGHT REVEAL THE TRUE CORRUPTION

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION FEB. 14-6, 2025) —THE PLANET welcomes you to the weekend by wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Remember, you can’t spell “Valentine” without “Valenti.”

The happy news: Jumpin’ Joe Curtis has announced his resignation. Talk about rats leaving the sinking ship! Curtis, as is his won’t, sharing the inevitable with some whoppers. The biggest is Jumpin’s claim that he wasn’t asked to step down.

“This is a choice I am making independently because I firmly believe it is the right time, the right decision for me, for the district, and the community I deeply care about,” Jumpin’ said.

Right.

THE PLANET has seen hundreds of officials issue resignation statements. Trust us: When they go out of their way to tell you they’re hitting the road of their own free will, they’re quitting because they’ve been given an offer they can’t refuse. In Jumpin’s case, sources say, it was (paraphrasing): “Lovely pension you got there, Joe. Be a pity if something were to happen to it.”

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET isn’t clear on who was putting the pressure on Jumpin’ to make himself scarce, and we don’t care. The good news is that this coat holder won’t be in charge after the school year ends.

Conveniently, Jumpin’ made no mention of the egregious sex- and drug-scandals in his department, with Ground Zero being Pittsfield High School and the suspensions (with pay, of course) of key administrative personnel entrusted with the job of guiding young people through that perilous phase known as the teens.

THE PLANET shall not regurgitate the charges against the Dancin’ Dean and others. We leave that to the investigators and the courts. We merely ask how someone with an online degree and low-level employment in the school system could have been put in charge of a department that eats up three out of every four city dollars?

THE PLANET‘s theory is that the corruption in city political “leadership”–the mayor’s office, city council, and school committee, and various “civilian insiders”– has reached a level that requires protection from those placed in “leadership” roles, usually through rigged elections and fixed appointments. And if those “leaders” attract too much negative attention (such as federal charges and independent investigation), it’s time for them to go. The Suits want those whose abilities and characters are unsuited for their grand salary/benefit packages. This leaves them open to outside control and manipulation, reluctant to create waves or dare to be independent.

Jumpin’ Joe Curtis became an embarrassment by his historic incompetence resulting in the scandals now working their way through the investigatory routes. His ham-fisted ineptness ended up drawing too much attention, and it’s made certain “Players” mighty nervous. That’s why Jumpin’ “has decided” to resign.

———- ooo ———-

There’s little hope among Bitchfield’s Kapanskis that the current probes and court actions will lead to an honest, comprehensive expose’ of the dirty practices that reason tells us are infecting the city, well hidden from public view by the very officials “elected” to provide transparency in government. Even the slightest chance that investigations and legalities might take a deep dive into monumental scandals thought to involve child molestation, drug trafficking, bribes, and kickbacks has The Suits panicky (Suits defined as those making a windfall through lack of accountability with respect to public treasury and policy).

Do us a favor, Jumpin’: Just go. Forget about continuity that you promised to your successor (who has already been tapped, by the way). That’s the last thing the city needs with its schools. We don’t need continuity. We need a disrupter who will throw tables.

Have a great weekend, everybody.

Pittsfield politics is in an over 50-year downward spiral with the Group 11, Level 5 public school district being at rock bottom.

Instead of preparing children with skills to live a life of gainful employment, Pittsfield traumatizes them so that they end up in the underclass population, which is Pittsfield’s only real economic growth other than the excessive well over $200 million yearly municipal budget.

Then Mayor Sara Hathaway once said that Pittsfield is a JUNKIE for state aid. The biggest chunk of state aid that Pittsfield receives is for the Pittsfield Public School District. It is not really about public education, but rather, it is all about the tens of millions of dollars per fiscal year that the school district receives in state aid.

Would you want your children to go to school to be used as numbers on a city spreadsheet for state aid purposes? If not, then you don’t want your children to grow up to live in Pittsfield’s large underclass population.

Marxist-Melle, do you understand hypocrisy of this post above?

Let me help explain it to you in the simplest terms possible:

*Governor Maura Healey, is a democRAT
*Mayor Lumpy, is a democRAT
*CC President Wimpy White, is a democRAT
*Former Mayor Sara Hathaway, is a democRAT
*Former Mayor “the lovely” Linda “Flat” Tyer, is a democRAT
*Picklefield Vigilante, Dirty Barry Clairmont, is a democRAT
*Illegal Aliens Rep. Tricia Farley-Country Buffet, is a democRAT
*PPS Supt. Jumpin’ Joe Curtis, is a democRAT

*Jonathan “Marxist” Melle, is a democRAT

Now, I ask you to tell me what the common denominator is amongst the group I listed?

With that bit of information, I want you to reread your last paragraph, questioning why people would allow their children to grow up in Bitchfield, and ask yourself, if I, Jonathan “Marxist” Melle, were in charge of PPS, would I buck the democRAT system and their liberal indoctrination of children?

If you say yes, you are full of sh!t.

You would be in lockstep with the democRAT party and their failing educational policies, just like the group above.

Take a god look at the years of Sarah Hathaway’s elected time in public service. She was competent, courageous, honest.
In a nutshell, she was a very good public servant. Okay, she lost a run for mayor, but this lady had courage and brains enough to stay with it and remain involved in Pittsfield politics. Good for us. I am glad she is back in public service.

The Pittsfield Public School’s “Chapter 70 state aid to schools was expected to increase by more than $4 million, owed to its large percentage of students from lower-income households.”

Source: “As Pittsfield gears up for budgeting, it learns health insurance premiums are poised for a significant hike”, By Greg Sukiennik, The Berkshire Eagle Greg Sukiennik, February 7, 2025

The outcome: The Pittsfield Public School Administrators are receiving pay raises.

Did I just read that Marchetti and White are going to be giving Petrica Industries more beleagured taxpayer money while they struggle themselves to survive? Cuz obviously they need the money more than the tax payers right? Does he care at all about taxpayers? At all? Even a modicum?

How much does the city pay rent for the land the school buses sit on? And who owns that? Why has the city never just purchased it? Does Kerwood know?

Agree. Of course Petrica owns the garage and land, getting a pretty penny in rent. Pittsfield public Schools only needs a garage and small office space. The buses could be parked at the numerous properties the City owns.

You have to hand it to the Bitchfield Pubic Scohol System and their hiring of superintendents. Look at the last two we’ve had here in Bitchfield: Jason McCandless and Jumpin’ Joe Curtis. Two liberal, wimpy, beta-males, basically two card-carrying members of today’s democRAT party.

We all have come to accept (not agree with) in Bitchfield, if you are a black male or female, you will be handed the keys to the kingdom, no matter your qualifications. Shirley, the BBEC, and the Dancin’ Dean, all exemplify this.

But, if you are a white male looking for employment in Bitchfield Pubic Scohols, does one have to be (a) ultra-liberal, (b) beta-male, (c) apologetic for being a white male (see McCandless story below), (d) incompetent, are these the mandatory requirements?

*McCandless ushered in DEI and Shirley Edgerton into the young students lives.

*Jumpin’ Joe, took it a step further, by allowing those DEI hires to deal drugs and molest students.

The schools also want to make it look like they are actually doing something to solve all of the problems so having Curtis resign will look like a positive step. We are not fooled. There is no reason for teachers and students to contact each other by pager or cell phone unless it’s for nefarious reasons so it’s good they have stopped that, but the only reason for the contact would be if the teachers and students were getting too close in the classroom and the far left agenda is what is creating that problem.

Agree Dan, Pittsfield Public Schools need a disrupter. Eliminate open Campus at Pittsfield High, start cracking down on absentee students (63% miss 10 or more days-40% miss 16 or more days) enforce school dress codes, report Teachers getting to close to students. Also do not build a new school and do not have a 5-6 & 7-8 grade schools. Simply put 5-6-7 grades at the middle schools. 8-12 high schools. Kids will get to start their Vocational Training sooner at Taconic and also they could take College prep courses too. Close 2-3 Elementary Schools. It won’t happen, the whores don’t like giving up any Administration positions.

Joe I agree with most of your comments except eliminating open campus at PHS. Allowing the students to go outside at lunch whether just for fresh air or to pick up a quick meal is a positive thing, my kids really enjoyed it.
I think the Asst Supt and PHS principal should resign over the scandals at the high school.
I also think we need a Supt. with kahunas who can close some schools, ban cell phones (totally), ditch pre-school programs, administer discipline and cut costs. Unfortunately Elon is not available.
The schools are a mess!

It wasn’t Ukrainian refugees that VP Vance was talking about. It’s the Globalist George Soros inspired open borders that have been pushed on Europe and this country that Vance was talking about and the Europeans know that or they should. Joe Biden was doing the bidding of the Soros family and other globalists by allowing open borders and we see the results in this country. Vance is worried about the caliphate that the terrorists want to set up across the world and he views this as more dangerous than even Russia and China. Allowing unvetted people into your country in these dangerous times of terrorism is a really bad idea and these European countries could have closed their borders and vetted people they did allow to enter. Unchecked illegal immigration does change the culture of a country too especially when these people are not assimilating.

I am NOT the one who uses “Hitler”.

In fact, Elon Musk looked like he was saluting Adolf HItler on the night of 01/20/2025 (Trump’s inauguration ceremony).

In fact, JD Vance did call Donald Trump “America’s Hitler”.

In fact, many HATE groups support Donald Trump’s racist White Nationalist so-called Christian movement in the U.S.A. (& beyond).

Jesus Christ was a Jewish Rabbi. The Neo-Nazi’s hate the Jewish People and other minorities. The White Nationalist “Christian” political movement that is led by Donald Trump is NOT about religion, but rather, it is about HATE in the Government.

You – Charles Ivar Kronick – write about the U.S.A.’s Founding Fathers’ religious political movement that somehow correlates with Trump’s MAGA movement, but many of the Founding Fathers owned SLAVES.

As an aside, I was at the Market Basket grocery store in Nashua, NH, a few weeks ago, and a Catholic Priest was in line behind me. I was humbled by his presence. I feel the utmost honor when I think about the Founding Fathers.

Over the past 3 weeks, the Catholic Church was placed on MAGA’s Crucifix. Trump has issued questionable Executive Orders stripping away our U.S. Constitutional Rights. The Separation of Powers has been put into crises by the Trump administration.

There are many parallels between Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump and some of his supporters.

Sir CHAZ

There are absolutely no parallels between AH and DJT, who is a man who displays 1) common sense, 2) compassion for the distressed – think prison reform for victims of 3 strikes – 3) dignity and fairness in foreign policy regarding the State of Israel. All three make him unique for any president of the 20/21st century.

The Founding Fathers were mixed from horribly flawed individuals to gentlemen. All combined to produce a government based upon Common Sense, and all sacrificed everything for the vision. Angels with wings live in the clouds, those others with mustaches, slaves, were not angels.

Leftist Marxist like JM have managed to take the name of something unspeakably evil, and somehow make it so banal and colorless that nobody even pays attention to it anymore. If they had an ounce of respect for any of Hitler’s real victims, they wouldn’t trivialize the whole thing the way they do.

Yet, we have a billionaire (Soros)that collaborated with the NAZI, and he gets a Medal of Freedom and they don’t say sh!t about it as long as the money for the Marxist causes keep coming in for them.

Just one of the many things I despise them

The religious aspect of the FF pertains mostly to the epoch. The colonies were built for and around by those who settled here upon goals of religious expression. Religion is so important and integral to the Revolution that the ratification demanded religious expression be expressly protected from government prejudice.

Jonathan A. Melle
Jonathan A. Melle
Reply to  Sir CHAZ

The other religious aspect of 1776 was the moral hypocrisy of the cause of Classical Liberalism when Slavery was the exact opposite of Liberty.

In the mid-1770’s, the taxpayers in the American British Colonies paid a net of 2 weeks of their annual incomes to King George III. Fast forward to 2025, and the U.S. taxpayers pay months of their annual income to the career politicians in the government, which has tens of trillions in public debts that will paid off by Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

Taxation without representation centuries ago was actually a better deal than in 2025 whereby the government represents us, but it only does DISSERVICES to the common people and taxpayers on many levels.

We have a federal government ran by billionaires who each make millions of dollars in net income per day, while the common people on average make less than $100 in net income per day.

It was not like it is now in the 21st Century in the latter part of the 18th and most of the 19th Century. Furthermore, post-WW2, the U.S. middle-class actually did well for a little less than 30 years before losing ground for a little over the past 50 years.

In 2025, we live in a financial-postindustrial era that is fostering great economic inequality. Most people do not even comprehend financial management in the first place. The government has conditioned the common people to be financial fools for the benefit of the super wealthy and elites.

The Founding Fathers fought against financial tyranny, while in 2025, we are the victims of it. Donald Trump wants to sign into law a $4.5- to $5 trillion federal tax cut for the wealthy and elites, but both U.S. inflation and government deficit spending is increasing, which would be exacerbated by Trump’s proposed tariffs.

If we want to preserve democracy and liberty, then we have to change the financial tyranny by rebuilding the middle-class.

Sir CHAZ
Sir CHAZ
Reply to  Jonathan A. Melle

The art of the Founding Fathers forever surpassed their human flaws. Like the artists of the Late Renaissance and the Baroque, Rubens and his tier, we shall never see their match in persistence, intellect, and skill again as a movement. I
If you insist on picking at their humanity, which they admit in their own writing and declarations, is permanently flawed and the source of failed government, don’t complain when others do the same to you.
And stop imputing Hitler on decent people. Watch the Killing Fields, read up on the Hutu/French holocaust in Rwanda, the Serbian killing fields of Bosnia and get it straight.

did the city use any salt at all? if so, where? what mix? did we run out? if so, why? this is an absolute mess. Ricardo should be fired based on this one storm alone never mind the complete mess he has made the roads into.

I sort of recall warren, persip, etc… putting you on the hook for new trucks with brining abilities, plus fancy expensive salt, and more trucks. That was supposed to solve all your problems. Did it?

I believe climate change gave the city only 5 days to prepare.

No side streets are being plowed at all. Is this the price the working people will pay all week because schools are on vacation? Garbage pickup will be a disaster this week too because so many people (especially the elderly) will be unable to drag their garbage and recycle totes through the ice and snow.

Wouldn’t they have to drag their garbage cans in the snow under the old system and carry out their recycling bins?

You can toss a bag up on the snowbank, maybe even from your door. Recycling can be skipped temporarily or permanently if it’s a risk to your life when you don’t have Marchetti weighing every ounce. Meanwhile he said he’s not interested doing any more budgeting, everything else gets a blank check. Wouldn’t be surprising if there was a Prop 2 1/2 vote every year just to keep limited trash service

Not the garbage totes. Most elderly people just used garbage bags because you didn’t have to drag a container through the snow and ice. In really cold weather, I kept my garbage bags on the front porch to avoid a long walk down the driveway. As for the recycling bins, you could always wait a week if you had to since it’s just paper or plastic, but garbage is different. It should be picked up every week. The city says that Casella will retrieve garbage toters from the back of a long driveway in bad weather so let’s see how that goes.

My neighborhood has been well plowed and salted/cindered. Good job Ricardo & team.

It depends on the street you live on. Many streets, like mine, are in bad shape. Different plow trucks for different streets.

I think the plows on my street have done an excellent job. They haven’t pushed the shit like before into the driveway which helps. The Toters are a total disaster in snow. He should be fired for that. And Casella hasn’t live up to there contract. Also the toters are to small and have zero buoyancy.

Which street and what gosib lives on your street? Barely a plow in sight for three days in my area which has several hills. Are Marchetti and White in Bermuda with the school celebrities?

Or whooping it up in Hawaii with their big salaries from the new school budget. Marchetti is also getting a raise.

I respectfully disagree. I understand snow plowing can be challenging especially when you’re undermanned. Went out this morning, main roads are still terrible. I didn’t see one truck out, until I was on Dalton Divsion road. It was a City Plow and sander plowing the parking lot of Marchisio Park, the entire parking lot. Now that’s just a special kind of stupid. God help us all.

This should be interesting for Bitchfield Pubic Scohols. Trump’s DOE sent a letter to all 50 states advising them to remove all DEI programming from within the schools or lose all federal funding.

https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1890938936031142344

Add to it, the MA AG Andrea Campbell, is doubling down on MA taxpayers’ money, by pushing MY/YOUR CHIPS in the middle of the poker table, on DEI programs.

Maybe Jumpin’ Joe Curtis jumping off the PPS-sinking ship isn’t such a bad move? He might actually be smarter than we’re giving him credit for.

Picture on the front page of the Berkshire Eagle today shows “a pedestrian braves the snow” walking in the middle of Fenn Street by City Hall. Evidently City Hall doesn’t have to shovel their sidewalks. Guess Mayor Lumpy and his City Council don’t have to follow their own rules.
