LUMPY, KUFFLINKS USING A LIE CALLED “TRUTH” IN INITIAL BUDGET SOFTENING-UP

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTR$ESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION FEB. 21-3, 2025) — When Mayor Lumpy and city treasurer Kufflinks Kerwood soft-shoed their preliminary remarks on Bitchfield’s finances, they claimed that during the most recent five years, the city tax rate had DECREASED 6.8%. The hilarious part of the joke is that they were telling a (not “the”) “truth.”

Cue the dancing girls! Bring on John Kiley on the Hammond organ to play “The Night They Invented Champagne.”

Their statements actually revealed the budget scam that’s been going on now for all that time (and before). THE PLANET refers to assessed values. Yeah, the tax rate “decreased” but in that same time period, tax bills for the “average single-family home” (they’re talking The Kapanskis) leaped 40.8% (rise in a rage from FY21 $3,925 to FY25 $5,298). That’s because valuations increased nearly 50%.

The valuation scam has made homes unaffordable, burdened home owners and small business owners with devastating tax bills, and perpetuated a lie pertaining to civic health (i.e., life in the community must be great or else property values wouldn’t be rising). It even has Kufflinks proposing an override of Prop 2 1/2, as if officials haven’t been routinely jacking up taxes well in excess of 2.5.

——————————-

Lumpy and Kufflinks tout 6.8% fake “drop” in taxes … Actually, taxes are up 44.8%

——————————

Lumpy and Kufflinks spoke every word of their presentation to THE PLANET‘s Right Honorable Good Friends on the City Council in code. Councilors have their secret decoder rings, and when they got done with the transcribing, the message to them was clear. They will be expected to approve without question the Administration’s FY26 budget “request.”

You can be sure the council president clearly understood his orders. Consequently, in a few short sunsets, the actual budget farce will be played, a moth-eaten production that promises only one thing for the Kapanskis: More financial pain.

Councilor Earl Persip III tipped the council’s hand. At the presentation, Dumpster Earl said there was no place in the entire budget that could be cut.

Yes, he actually said that. Remember come November.

Welcome to Easy Street, everybody!

THE PLANET invites you to offer feedback to Lumpy, Kufflinks, Dumpster, and all the others who will be sticking it to you once more this year. They and/or their bobos read this blog.

Have a great weekend, everybody.

Pittsfield is one of the municipalities in Massachusetts that has NOT spent a majority of its opioid settlement funds.

Did you click on Pittsfield, Massachusetts, on the map of Massachusetts on the wcvb.com web-page?

It states that Pittsfield received $1,100,815 in the opioid settlement funds, but spent zero-percent of the money. It says that in 2023, Pittsfield had 24 fatal overdoses.

I hope that blogger Dan Valenti publishes a blog post about Pittsfield’s over $1.1 million in unspent opioid settlement funds.

Letter: Pittsfield should announce trash-pickup delays earlier
The Berkshire Eagle, February 21, 2025

To the editor: Pittsfield and Casella Waste Management should be ashamed of themselves, and I expected better from the two organizations.

On Jan. 16, [2025], The Eagle reported about ”early successes” of the rollout of the new collection system (“Pittsfield’s new trash toter program is seeing early success, but challenges remain“). On Feb. 11, The Eagle reported numerous problems with the rollout during a City Council meeting. I have another issue that needs to be addressed (“Casella, Pittsfield public works chief outline plans to improve the city’s new trash collection program“).

Before this present storm began, the emergency phone message stated that trash collection would not be delayed and the normal schedule would be adhered to. When the new rollout began, as stated in Pittsfield’s online how-to guide, we were instructed to have our toters roadside by 7 a.m. Batting the snow in my driveway on Monday morning, I had my toters out by 7:15. At 8:16, an emergency telephone message stated that trash collection would be canceled today and delayed by one day. (“Pittsfield trash, recycling collection delayed due to storm,” Eagle, Feb. 17.)

Why was the telephone message issued after the 7 a.m. deadline? This needs to be added to the public works chief’s plan to improve the city’s new trash collection program.

I think the taxpayers of Bitchfield should prepare for the shock factor of progressive democRAT policies are going to hurt them in a huge way financially in the next year or two.

The next time you see the MA illegal aliens rep, Tricia Farley-Country Buffet and/or former failed-mayor Linda “Flat” Tyer-Clairmont, you can thank them for dumping 100+ illegal Haitians in Bitchfield, because it “added to our diversity and inclusion,” Tyer. I included a link of Flat gleefully talking to the media about the illegals.

https://www.berkshireeagle.com/news/local/great-barrington-pittsfield-migrants-immigrants-haiti-emergency-right-to-shelter-families-hotels/article_7efa0840-7a74-11ee-b969-6337e1e074eb.html

President Trump is ending all deportation protections for illegal Haitians on 8/3/25. What does that mean if they stay beyond that date? We, the taxpayers, will pay for them until they get deported. No more federal money, state grants, nothing.

The ER becomes their primary care doctors, so they wait times go up. The “houseless” population will increase, as WILL CRIME.

https://x.com/AntiWuCoalition/status/1892781894468558928

If MA Gov Maura Healey and Mayor Lumpy think President Trump will back down from their defiance of his EO’s, they can take a peek up north to Maine.

President Trump just let the state of ME know that they are losing federal funding, because they allow boys in females sports.

https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1892747488638955979

Weren’t democRATS the ones screaming about Trump “taking away women’s rights?”

TSC? Marxist-Melle? You both made numerous posts during election season stating that exact point. Care to comment.

Taxpayers can’t believe a word out of the two useless Pete’s mouths. It’s bad enough they keep “reassessing” our homes to raise taxes, but, we can’t see ONE thing we are getting from these tax increases. Crime out of control, businesses leaving, pothole filled streets, under staffed police department, lack of learning in schools, panhandlers on every corner, could go on and on.

The latest out of Mayor Lumpy’s office made me almost barf my breakfast! In the upcoming City Council meeting it states he is naming Linda Clairmont (alias ex Mayor Linda Do Nothing Tyer) to the Economic Development Authority Board. EXCUSE ME!! She did absolutely NOTHING in 8 years to help the economics of this failing city. Just another butt kissing appointment that will get us no where.

For a member of the city council to come out and say there was no way to cut City budget is an absolute falsehood. There is always ways to cut. They just don’t wanna do it. They much rather just put a stamp of approval on it and pass the expense off to the taxpayer yet again that’s why these members of the city Council all should be removed ASAP.

One of the biggest investments any defense department can make is in improving its air capabilities. The F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter program has the dubious accolade of being the most expensive fighter jet project in history, with an estimated lifetime cost of over $1.7 trillion.
But the cost of the defense project doesn’t always equate to the most expensive fighter jets in terms of sticker price. In fact, according to our research, the F-35 is only the fifth most expensive fighter jet on the market, surpassed by several others in terms of what nations are paying to acquire them.
The cost of fighter jets fluctuates between tranches and can be influenced by external pressures. For example, Defense One reported in July 2024 that Lockheed would be ‘challenged’ to keep the costs of the F-35 down amid rising prices for raw materials. The most expensive, the F-35B vertical takeoff and landing variant, currently costs around $109 million, slightly less than it has been in the past, although that could change in future production tranches.

If Mayor Lumpy and the City Clowncil won’t cut Bitchfield’s budget, what’s the next logical step?

Increase taxes for your constituents, but mask it under “public safety,” such as traffic enforcement cameras.

In the latest, Kenny Warren wants to bring speed cameras to Bitchfield to help slow down drivers. This appears to be a decent proposal, until you look into it further.

Does it bring in unaccounted for revenue? Initially it does. But after a while when people get smart and quit paying the fines; or better yet, unless the ticket arrives in the mail as a certified letter, just simply ignore it and never pay for it. “I never got it,” should be the response if asked. It’s the states burden of proof to prove you actually received the citation, not the violator.

This now creates an added burden and/or expense on the Bitchfield Police, because they will either have to take someone off patrol to serve the tickets in-hand to the violator or they will have to hire process servers to find the violators and serve them the ticket.

PPD will now have to store the additional video they accumulate, plus they will have to dedicate an officer or three to review all of the “violations” and get those tickets ready to be mailed out.

I have been reflecting on Luciforo’s upcoming 61st birthday on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, and my thoughts are on my writings, posts, and blogs about his mean-spirited, unusual, conspiratorial, and harmful actions against my family, especially my dad, Bob, and myself.

I want Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior to know that his persecution of me since I was 20 years old in the Spring 1996 through present time; I will turn 50 years old this upcoming Summer 2025; will be read online for generations to come, including by his children.

I want Pittsfield’s Pot King (of lawsuits) to know that his legacy of hurting the Have NOT named Jon Melle will be remembered by my writings, postings, and blogs about his cruelty towards me.

Nuciforo may have won a few battles, but I will be the one to win this banal war between us. Nuciforo may be a millionaire who lives in his $950,000 mansion in Pittsfield’s elitist Gated Community west of Berkshire Community College, but I am the one who people respect.

In around 24 years from now, Nuciforo will become a memory – a BAD memory!

South Street and Crane Ave. should be closed due to the terrible deep potholes. Also noticed that sidewalks by city owned bridges are yet to be shoveled. Porkchop Pete White post to enter these issues into PITTSmart. Why do we have to report city owned streets and sidewalks that need to be cleared? Is this administration that blind to what their job is?

Also, why is it every time I attend any sort of meeting or speech given by Mayor Lumpy he has to remind us he is gay. Key Facts

The fiscal year 2025 spending plan would likely lead to about $800 billion in cuts from Medicaid over the next decade, part of about $2 trillion in overall spending cuts to help pay for $4.5 trillion in tax cuts plus boosts in defense and border spending.

The federal government’s Medicaid program provides health care coverage to more than 72 million Americans.

While the resolution doesn’t explicitly call for cuts to Medicaid, skeptical lawmakers have warned there’s virtually no other way to achieve the $880 billion in cuts the resolution tasks the Energy and Commerce Committee with finding without slashing Medicaid spending.

Moderate Republicans in vulnerable districts and those where significant portions of their constituents are on Medicaid have expressed resistance to any Medicaid spending cuts.

“Moderate Republicans in”

Possible those moderates, a suspicious term for any true believer, are in for a hit in their wallet.

CMS is administration. Management. It is overhead in the delivery and billing for health care. Business management and direction wants overhead to be low in proportion to production.

The first place to save money, which no one talks about, is getting rid of the multi-lingo. No one ‘needs’ them. Humans are good at finding someone to explain shit to them. Second, government writing is a separate language anyway which is completely incomprehensible to a non gov person.

Why write what is incomprehensible in other alphabets???

Bingo. EO English as Official language for the Federal Government. Medicare literature will likely be published in english only, meaning great savings in paper, copying expenses, translators, lawyers needed to verify the legality of translations, and editors.

I have paid taxes in the city for over 50 years. Never had a kid in schools which are major portion of taxes. Now on fixed income.

Why is it that wealthy business owners can get tax breaks for years and years along with taxpayer subsidized utility upgrades when they build something?

City has all these taxpayer funded grants for special interests. Runaway spending for massive projects that benefit a small percentage of the population. Residents in most cities and towns get to vote or voice their opinions on large expenditures. Pittsfield may have a phony poll done by a complicit media outlet saying that most people really do want to pay 30 million dollars for a refurbished ball park. And that is not true at all. Pittsfield no longer does referendums because they know the backlash would be huge. Pittsfield also refuses to do a forensic audit by an independent out of area firm to see if there are better ways to spend and manage taxpayer funds. Ask yourself why.

Just a few years ago the city seemed to have a bundle of money floating around from the Covid situation. Is there a detailed list somewhere where all that money disappeared to? But now the city seems even more broke than ever but lo and behold not one area seems to be able to be cut. We are in a bizzaro world where everything is the opposite of the way it is suppose to be.

Pittsfield’s foremost agenda seems to be to take care of the already well off and sadly, many elderly, who have paid their taxes dutifully all their lives, are deemed unworthy of a break when they need it most. Instead they are actually subsidizing the well off by paying their share of taxes for them. The wealthy folks reduced share has to be made up from somewhere doesn’t it? Can you spell “corporate welfare”?

If you love your children or grand children you might want to discourage them from staying in Pittsfield any longer than they have to. While some of us grampas and grandmas may be unable to leave, it is a sad destiny that our children do not have to endure. Start planning their escape now.

The way Dorchester Ave was plowed and left this past storm was an incredible liability. it wasn’t widened and the edges were two feet off the curb on one side with a slope angled towards the center. If two cars at the same time were passing in opposite directions there was approximately 2 feet between their mirrors.(cased upon street dimensions and width of an average pickup truck including mirrors) When you move over all the way to the edge of the road it kicked you back towards the center and almost caused a head on collision three days after the storm. I witnessed this from the car behind the two trucks. This morning the conditions still exist.

I wanted to share a post with Marxist-Melle about Trump’s team doing REAL work with our nation’s veterans and not just press releases and photo-ops, like MA Gov Maura Healey.

*Trump’s VA has processed over 1,000,000 VA Claims, for FY25 on February 20th.

Hello Governor Maura Healey,

As a Veteran, I strongly support you in politics. You have done a lot of good work on behalf of Veterans in Massachusetts.

My enemy #1 named Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior turns 61 on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025. Luciforo has persecuted me since I was 20 years old when I unfortunately first met the millionaire political brat during the Spring 1996; I will turn the BIG 5-0 this upcoming Summer 2025.

Down with Donald Trump, MAGA, J.D. Vance, and the extremist movement in the Republican Party in the Swamp (& beyond). I love that you stand up to Trump in politics. I hope that you will run for and are elected U.S. President in 2028.

Best wishes,

The last three City Clownsil meetings have had an empty house. No one in the audience. Evidently taxpayers have thrown in the towel with these useless meetings. Wonder if any of these so called elected brainiacs have even noticed.

Before we know it election season will be upon us. Hope everyone notices that not one of these current elected councilors has done one damn thing to help taxpayers. We need to dump all of them.

Wonder when was the last time these councilors have gotten off their pompous butts and have driven through the Wards they represent and took note of the complete disaster the last snow clearing, or lack of and also encountered the horrendous potholes.

Tonight’s meeting was over in 25 minutes, amazing, especially when taxpayers have to endure the complete mess the City is in.

It looks like democRATS in MA continue to create positions for unqualified DEI hires, to try and circumvent President Trump’s mandate to end racist (D)idn’t (E)arn (I)t programs.

In the latest, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu-Han-Flu, created a new job for DEI Specialist, Corean Reynolds, making over $100,000 a year, plus benefits.

What is Corean Reynolds new job you ask? She is the “Director of Nightlife Economy.”

https://x.com/AntiWuCoalition/status/1894511046259343508

It makes you wonder how long it will be, before these useless former-DEI jobs are “created” here in Bitchfield.

**I did hear that the Bitchfield Pubic Scohol has a Dean of Students, Lavante Wiggins (aka-Lady’Z Man), who specializes in dancing, and also narcotics sales. He would be the perfect fit for the “new” Director of Nightlife position in Bitchfield, if I say so myself.

Re: Luciforo’s 61st birthday today

61 years ago today, my enemy #1 named Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior was born. I first met Luciforo when I was 20 years old during the Spring 1996; I will turn 50 years old this upcoming Summer 2025. I wish I never met, nor knew about Pittsfield’s millionaire political brat, who is also known as Pittsfield’s Pot King (of lawsuits).

I am a Have Not who was born and grew up in the distressed small City of Pittsfield (Massachusetts). My dad, Bob, who will turn 81 years old this upcoming Summer 2025, was a Pittsfield politician decades ago. Nuciforo had a vindictive vendetta against my father. Nuciforo conspiratorially bullied and persecuted me over the past a little under 29 years of my adult life to use me as bait to hurt my father, who Nuciforo filed multiple state “ethics” reports against from the Fall 1997 – Spring 1998, but my dad ended up being O.K.

The irony of Nuciforo’s actions is that it was he who disgraced himself by allegedly illegally double dipping as the State Senate Chair of the Finance Committee while at the same time serving as an Attorney for Boston’s big banks and insurance companies from 1999 – 2006, according to a news story published by the Boston Globe in January 2007. Nuciforo was the fox guarding the hen house, but it led to him stepping down as Pittsfield’s State Senator in Boston, Massachusetts.

On the blog named Planet Valenti, several posters wished Nuciforo a Happy Birthday to spite me because I support Governor Maura Healey instead of Donald Trump’s extremism. Although I am being provoked, I am happy that people know about Nuciforo’s mean-spirited and unusual actions against me.

The average human being lives into their mid-80’s, which means that in around 24 years from now, Nuciforo will become a bad memory. I hope that my blog Luciforo and my story of Nuciforo’s abuses against me will be his legacy.

TIF Proposed for Unistress ExpansionBy Brittany PolitoiBerkshires Staff
05:17AM / Tuesday, February 25, 2025Print Story | Email Story
PITTSFIELD, Mass.— Additional support for a longtime local concrete business is on Tuesday’s City Council Agenda.

Mayor Peter Marchetti has proposed a ten-year tax increment financing agreement for Unistress Corporation’s $4 million expansion, which is expected to create 50 new jobs.

With a TIE, the company would pay about $653,000 in property taxes over the next decade, starting at 100 percent forgiveness in the first year (about $24,000) and ending at 10 percent forgiveness (about $2,750) in 2035.

The property’s base value in fiscal year 2025 is $1,294,700, and the completed market value is $1,920,100. The $625,400 increment will see ten percent less forgiveness each year.

TO OMG – earlier in this this comments section you asked the following questions (in italics). I answer them for you, below:
Why is it that wealthy business owners can get tax breaks for years and years along with taxpayer subsidized utility upgrades when they build something?
Because they are either GOBSIGS or connected to them. See how they are now spending over 1.5 mill for an alley improvement to benefit the GOBSIGs.

Because they don’t want the truth. Look what happened in Oklahoma.

Preservation act Money, 10 years of Tax discounts, Millions in State grants plus Federal money. On top of that they’re using their own construction company to do the work. I don’t blame them, they’re smart and are playing by the rules. Time for a change.

The meeting that took place with all of the Washington insiders before Zelensky met with Trump was really chummy by the look of the pictures. Then Zelensky acts with disrespect toward Trump and Vance before the cameras. Zelensky knew he wouldn’t be getting any more cash from Trump and I don’t believe he ever intended to sign that minerals deal so he felt free to act the way he did. Zelensky will take his chances with Europe now and play them for money and “security guarantees”. England hailed him as a hero yesterday so his plan may be working, but Ukraine is done with America if no more billions are coming from us. Zelensky showed who he really is at his meeting with Trump.
