HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL … plus … TOP OF ‘THE MOUNTAIN’ PROVES DANGEROUS … MOUNTAINONE ACCUSES EX-EMPLOYEES OF ‘THEFT’ TO SET UP RIVAL FIRM
BY DAN VALENTI
PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY
(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE WEDNESDAY NOV. 26, 2025) — First off, Happy Thanksgiving from THE PLANET to all of our readers and commentators.
You might have missed it, but here’s the holiday notice posted by Mountain One bank (italics are THE PLANET’s):
|
|
———- ooo ———-
It’s ironic that the notice mentions “scams” and “protecting the herd.” Perhaps in the future it will be more vigilant in protecting itself from its own “highly compensated” employees. That is if the assertions contained in a lawsuit are found to be true.
Mountain One has an excellent reputation bordering on extraordinary — service that is courteous, thoughtful, thorough, and reliable. That’s why THE PLANET was surprised by notice of a lawsuit filed by the company earlier this month against three of its “highly compensated employees” from the investment advisement division, MountainOne Investments.
In short, the bank accuses:
- Three of its investment advisors of “willfully breach[ing] their fiduciary duties, steal[ing] confidential information, and engag[ing] in other serious bad faith conduct. The suit names advisors
- Robert G. Abel
- Jason R. Dohaney
- James E. Durand
The suit says “Abel was the most highly compensated employee of Mountain One” with a 2024 haul of $1,129,501.88. A cool mill+. Dohaney and Durand, the document states, were also “highly compensated,” though not to Abel’s tune. In addition to their gaudy salaries, each “was entitled to participate” in the company benefits — health insurance, life insurance, 401K, and pension plan.
———- ooo ———-
MountainOne alleges that while still employed at the bank, the three hijacked company accounts, transferring them into a new start-up. It alleges that the three “secretly set up their own competing investment advisory firm, Green River Financial Services” based in Williamstown. “They did so,” the suit states, “while being paid by MountainOne, during work hours, and using MountainOne’s facilities, information technology, and subordinate employees.” Green River is also named in the suit.
The document says that Abel, Dohaney, and Durand resigned from MountainOne on Oct. 3. to start Green River. The suit claims the trio — both during and after their employment at MopuntainOne — “stole highly confidential information” without the company’s consent. “Then, after announcing that they were leaving to start Green River, [Abel, Dohaney, and Durand] used MountainOne’s confidential information to solicit nearly every MountainOne customer and facilitate the taking of accounts …”
The court filing further states that the three “conspired with their new affiliate Kestra to steal this information and make job offers to their subordinates at MountainOne to come to work for them at Green River. They instructed their subordinates to upload MountainOne’s proprietary information to a server they has set up to secretly collect this information. Most of this conduct occurred during their employment and was in direct violation of the terms of their employment with MountainOne.”
Kestra is also a defendant in the suit.
The court action says Green River “is currently operating using employees, customer, and confidential information” that was “raided in brazen fashion.”
It’s serious stuff, considering that TRUST forms both the foundation and corner stone of fiduciary banking and financial services.
You can read the full language of the suit here:

———- ooo ———-
The action by MountainOne to reclaim its good name should be enough to make any customer of Green River extremely nervous.
Maybe Black Friday will include deals on Pepto-Bismol, Tums, and other suitable peptides.

Sarcasm: I heard that that there will be Turkey dinners, Turkey lawsuits, and Turkey FORENSIC audits in the beautiful Berkshires and beyond during the Holidays Season.
Sarcasm: Those goddamned Turkey politicians and Turkey businessmen gobble, gobble, gobble up too many Turkey dollars and then fight their own lawsuits and FORENSIC audits that never happen in Pittsfield politics.
It seems like the Turkeys run the World on Thanksgiving. I hope that you enjoy the Turkey dinners and have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving to you Dan, and everyone else at The Planet.
Now, to address a post from yesterday’s Planet. Zohran “Marxist” Mammelle believes the Seditious 6 planting seeds of doubt amongst our US Military members.
Traitor Mark Kelly, is a retired US Naval Officer and Elissa Slotkin, is a trained CIA analyst. Neither of them, nor any of the Seditious 6, could name ANY ILLEGAL order President Trump issued, but yet they posted this video. Why? Because they hate Trump. All orders given by the US President are understood to be LEGALL, as set by law. They crossed a dangerous line and need to be criminally punished.
Open the X link Zohran Mammelle, it explains the seeds the Seditious 6 were planting for you to easily understand.

I would be lying if I didn’t expect to see Zohran Mammelle, The Planet’s communist cheerleader, to not think critically about their post and just agree with it, well because you know, Orange Man bad.
Not following orders is why Zohran Mammelle probably got booted from the US Army on a Bad Conduct Discharge or an Other than Honorable Discharge and had to have a “special hearing: years later to appeal this and get it artificially changed to “honorable.” I still want to see Zohran’s reenlistment code to see how “honorable” his discharge truly is.
Zohran Mammelle, in case you forgot, I reposted the US Army Oath of Enlistment, that YOU TOOK when you joined the Army.
***I highlighted a key portion of the enlistment. Using your critical thinking skills, see if you can locate the highlighted area of the oath and then think about the video the Seditious 6 put out.
US Army Oath of Enlistment:
I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I WILL OBEY THE ORDERS OF THE PRESIDENT of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So, help me God. (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).
Have a nice Holiday Dan and Lisa. And all the Planites !
ASIDE…Shootings near White House. Several shot.
Same to you and yours, I AM. We appreciate your presence here on THE PLANET.
Dan.Is Wayfair still around?

JON MELLE
Yes, Two Guard members who adhered to this Oath. We’re Shot Today.
According to the President is the safest City in the Country.
When you start shooting your military those liberal loons are the ones to blame.
I always get a kick out of this: the party stockpiling enough guns to outfit a small militia is somehow convinced the unarmed people are the ones doing all the shooting.
It’s political theater at its dumbest — blame the victims while clinging to the weapons that cause the problem.
It’s actually called facts. MSM doesn’t use that concept. I could go through all of the shootings, but I don’t want to be like Mele with a plethora of paragraphs.
“Facts,” Joe? You haven’t presented a single one. You keep waving the word around like it’s a permission slip for whatever you feel is true.
If you actually had data, you’d post it. But instead you’re hiding behind this “I could list them all, but I won’t” routine — which is what people say when they don’t have the receipts.
And please don’t pretend avoiding paragraphs is some noble choice. It’s not restraint. It’s inability.
If your entire argument collapses the moment you’re asked for specifics, then all you’ve got is a headline-sized opinion masquerading as truth.
The Democrats have allowed terrorists to enter our country for the past 4 years and they want to blame guns for the attack on the national guards. Terrorists will use vehicles and bombs to cause violence. Democrats know this and want to deflect from the serious issues they have caused. Terrorists also don’t want our cities to be protected because it interferes with the violence they want to create so they also have an interest in getting the national guard out of our major cities.
You’re tossing around the word “terrorist” like confetti at a parade, and it shows. If you had even a passing familiarity with national security policy in the last decade, you’d know that border security, counterterrorism, and domestic protection have been bipartisan for years — because reality doesn’t care about party talking points.
What does matter is accuracy.
The overwhelming majority of attacks on American soil in recent years were carried out by U.S. citizens, not migrants, not refugees, and not whatever vague “others” you’ve invented to justify your fear. And blaming Democrats for every global conflict since the dawn of time isn’t analysis — it’s emotional outbursts dressed up as policy.
As for your new theory that “terrorists want the National Guard out of cities,” congratulations on inventing a threat model based on vibes. Actual intelligence experts don’t build strategies around Facebook-level paranoia.
If you want to talk about weapons, violence, or national defense, then start with something grounded in fact. Otherwise, all you’re doing is broadcasting that you don’t understand terrorism, public safety, or the Constitution — but you really want people to think you do.
Glad I was not sitting around your Thanksgiving Day table. What a magafest of high level bullshit that must have been. Like a trump rally prolly. Try turning it off for one day dude. One damn day.
I’m glad you weren’t at my dinner table either. We had adults and children at my table.
No room at my table for you and your ilk. You know, Dragtime Story Hour for Kids. Men with mental health issues who like to act like they’re 3 years-old and wear mommies clothes and call themselves “women.”
Markus, every time you open your mouth you confirm the same thing:
your obsession with transgender people is not political — it’s personal, and it’s disturbing.
Normal men don’t think this much about other people’s gender, clothing, or bodies.
Normal men don’t drag LGBTQ folks into every random conversation.
Normal men don’t fixate on “drag” and “kids” with this level of graphic detail.
But you do. Constantly.
And the only people who talk about a group this obsessively are the ones wrestling with something inside themselves.
Your comments don’t read like “concern for children.”
They read like projection — from someone who can’t stop sexualizing what he claims to condemn.
If you’re this triggered by the existence of queer people, that’s not a public issue.
That’s a you issue.
Until you deal with whatever is going on in your own head, stop pretending you’re protecting anybody.
You’re just broadcasting your fixation to the entire thread — and it’s not a good look.

Thanksgiving 2025,
Dear Governor Maura Healey,
In 2024, Kelly Ayotte’s campaign tagline was “Don’t MASS Up NH”. Kelly Ayotte used you to associate you to Joyce Craig to bolster her cringe campaign for Governor of New Hampshire that she won by greatly outspending Joyce Craig to buy the state’s corner office.
I wanted you to see this web-page that shows that New Hampshire is last for wage growth.
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-wage-growth-by-state-2024-2025/
Governor Kelly Ayotte is only for the millionaires who live in New Hampshire. If you are a working-class family, then you actually lost money in New Hampshire.
Massachusetts is actually doing better with wage growth than New Hampshire. Both states are struggling in the “K-shaped” economy whereby the wealthy are happy with Wall Street record high indices, while the working-class is falling behind, especially with New Hampshire coming in last place on wage growth,
Happy Thanksgiving!
Jonathan A. Melle
Greedy mofos I’d say. Can’t be satisfied making a cool million and bennies. I hope they lose their shirts in court.
