Putin warned the West that he is prepared to use nuclear weapons. Putin says that is not bluffing. That is scary! Billions of people around the world would die in a nuclear weapons war. Thanks for the link Free Bird. The booklet said that the ballot reflected the questions certified by July 6 when it went to print. Question 4 wasn’t certified until early September. Will be interesting to see how it will be worded on the ballot.

Here is what I found on Galvin’s website refering to question 4. It doesn’t contain words like “illegal” or “undocumented”, it uses phrases like “Massachusetts residents who cannot provide proof of lawful presence in the United States”. So getting a drivers license makes them a “lawful presence”? Sounds more and more to me like a pardon for the people who broke the law coming across our borders illegally.

Can someone who gives a shit about Pittsfield please try to get a handle on why there seems to be an epidemic of motor vehicle accidents in the city? There must have been a dozen telephone poles knocked down just this year plus a few traffic lights. Plus a bunch of rollovers. Is everyone stoned, on their phones or just being roadway assholes or all three? Whatever it is someone needs to address it immediately. It is a huge safety issue and you don’t want to show up at this emergency room if you do not absolutely have to these days.
The mayor is not going to talk about it because it adds to all other signs of incompetency she is marked with. The police dept. has their officers tied up with these accidents all day long. Must be more important things they could do. Can’t the chief make some kind of statement or plea for sanity on the roadways? How about the health commissioner?
Keeping all this (including tragic bicycle accidents) out of the newspaper on purpose is a disservice to the community.

My guess is because the Police have been handcuffed by our current policies so they are not pulling people over for tickets that will be thrown out. Just yesterday I was driving south on 8 and a tan jeep was passing cars going north where it was only double yellow lines. I was in a procession of cars and all we could do to avoid the accident was pull over into the breakdown lane. Do you think that person was pulled over? Do you think that driver even cared about the danger he put everyone in? This world has blown a gasket as my dad would say…crazy times!! Try to stay safe and have a great weekend!

If you were in a fox hole, for a week, with a can of juicy peaches, would you rather have LOVE or a sharp serrated knife?
Yes, it is double-sided or doubled-edged, depending on the sum of your personal experiences with it, what you’ve observed of it, what’s you’ve learned from it, and what you’ve come across in books, media, hearsay, and the like. The latter is insignificant for those of intelligence. The first is the most determinant. There’s also the matter of choice and attitude. Huge. As for the foxhole, it all depends on a bunch of things: What other equipment do I have? What’s the strategic and tactical situation? Plus a 1,001 other circumstances and contingencies. You see, that’s the problem with using such hypotheticals in debate. They tend to be overgeneralized and unrealistic (black and/or white, whereas as know reality to be the seen and unseen spectrum of color and wavelengths.
My expectation would be to come out alive. It’s not that I’m indifferent to the personal experience aspect of love, but you can’t live on love. As to the rest of your hypothetical, it’s JUST YOU, YOUR CAN, or two of JUICY PEACHES, and a shiny sharp serrated knife. Oh, and a barrage of unfriendly bullets, but none with your name on them. LOVE, however, no matter what your personal experience, is MUCH MORE COMPLICATED.
Well, ultimately, no one comes out alive. Back to the foxhole. Two cans is much better than one. Give me the knife. I already have love.
I get it, DEATH and TAXES. 1000 times more crimes are committed in the name of LOVE than of Hate. Love and Hate are two sides of the same coin. But I was referring to surviving perchance for another walk among the fall leaves, another glimpse of snow sparkling as if it had been dusted by billions of diamonds and waking up to spring crocuses popping up through a bed of freshly fallen snow. But in reality, and having been in a foxhole, if I’m feeling a bit optimistic, I limit my planning only to the next 2 minuets.

The organization was once admired for their ethical embrace of rule and law but now they are just political pawns that are laughed at for being corrupt all the way to the Director’s chair. As I’m reading this I can’t help to correlate it to our government systems, how at one point they worked for the people/citizens of this great country but now it’s all about themselves. I just read the book the Return of the Gods by Jonathan Cahn. The author of the book believes that the problems in this country began as we turned away from God. As prayer was banned in the schools and secular beliefs took hold. Turning away from God, as so many of our institutions in this country have done, leaves a vacuum and that vacuum is being filled by pagan beliefs like the worship of the planet, the unimportance of human life, the indoctrination of children in gender confusion, and school teachers instructing them on their sexuality. We want to blame politicians for all of our problems, but these really bad politicians are in power because of a spiritual crisis in this country.
