Left, Right, Center, and Extremes of the political spectrum can agree such a sentence would have been inconceivable earlier this year. That’s when
- Democrats kept repeating the lie that Joe Biden was continent.
- Donald Trump was bogged down in the tar pits of various courtrooms on fake charges brought by radical-left black prosecutors and judges with known hatred for the 45th president. No conflict of interest there.
- The mainstream media fed us a diet of falsehoods and misinformation pro-Biden, anti-Trump.
Then came June 21 and the Trump-Biden debate.
All bets came off the pass line. The croupier stopped the game. The pit boss declared nolo contendere. Dems panicked. Or did they?
Which was it?
Either
- Biden’s debate performance came as a shock to Democrats, forcing them to the drawing board, their Big Lie having been exposed … or …
- This was the strategy all along, an “October Surprise” sprung in July. It would explain the odd scheduling of a presidential debate so early in the cycle. The Bosses would hang Biden out to dry after June 21 then have the excuse for the Restoration, installing KamaLite. She was black (sort of), female, younger than Trump, and easily controlled.

The election will not be held today. It will be Nov. 5. As we know, a lot can happen twixt here and there, now and then. As the poet T.S. Eliot put it, “Between the idea and the reality / between the motion and the act / falls the shadow.”
The unexamined elation bordering on hysteria following KamaLite’s Coronation gives Party Bosses one task: They must find a way to keep their candidate hidden for the next 75 days.

- Staged events before vetted, friendly audiences.
- Speeches read from teleprompters.
- No unscripted press conferences or interviews.
- No interviews with “hostile” media.
- The genuine possibility (probability if Trump leads heading into November) of ballot fraud.
Getting in the way:
- KamaLite’s record is Biden’s record.
- They welcomed an invading army of 12 million undocumented illegals, an array of whackos, rapists, murderers, cons thieves, drug dealers and users, terrorists, and “entitled” deadbeats wanting their free ride.
- Inflation killing pocketbooks, high interest rates, and two wars.
- Disastrous foreign policy.
- They allowed woke activists to brainwash our young people with a warped, “trans” agenda.
- Presidential debates. Trumps wants three. She has agreed to one.
- The voting public. Will enough of them be fooled?

We mentioned her flop at the border. How about:
- She’s the most liberal U.S. senator, out of touch with most of the population.
- High inflation, caused by the Administration’s printing trillions of dollars for deficit spending.
- KamaLite’s casting the Senate’s tie-breaking vote on Biden’s two biggest “free money” giveaways.
- Her call for price controls over private corporations. Roman Emperor Diocletian (284-305 A.D.) tried it first. It failed then and every time since.
- Her support of two needless wars.
- The Administration’s foreign policy failures with China, Russia, the Middle East and, most notably, Iran. The mullahs are now flush with money and close to nuclear weapons.

- Trump is a master at the podium. Harris can’t put a paragraph together without stringing together meaningless tautologies then exploding into her hideous hyena howl. Trump will mop the floor with her.
The Voting Public
Okay, her record’s miserable. Trump will top her in rhetoric. This leaves the electorate as the Wild Card. Will the euphoria for a black, female, empty pantsuit continue? Will the Shadow Government succeed in keeping their candidate in a “non-campaign” campaign?
Or will reason and common sense prevail? Will they re-elect a President who kept us out of war, stopped inflation, and gave this country one of the best economies of all time?

The issue with the election lies with the complicit nature of the media not vetting Commie Kamala and Wacko Nazi Walz. They are intending to create a communist country if elected. Kamal has already stated she wants to take legal patents away from companies and take them over, she wants to take every citizens gas products (stoves, dryers, cars, gas furnaces, etc). She has allowed an illegal army from Venezuala, Iran and China to come through the southern border and she wants to create price controls while defunding the police and letting criminals walk. She was the architect of the CA grab and take law where stores couldn’t stop shop lifters and she gave money to thigs who later killed honest hard working citizens. They have supported the terrorist organizations of BLM and Antifa against Americans and they are ok with babies being killed/aborted at 9 months. Their agenda is one of death and destruction. They have direct connection with China and Russia that the “news organizations” will not report on so they should be charged with misinforming the public with lies and be shut down.

Kamala would make a terrible president, but Biden was a terrible president and many people still wanted to keep him in office. He wasn’t running the show and Kamala will not be either. If people think that she will have lots of help to run the country, it might make it easier for them to vote for her. Yes, she is unqualified, but the “shadow government” will be running the country so we can breathe easy. The trouble is that this “shadow government” is made up of unsavory people like globalists, Communists, and Marxists. It was just a couple days ago it was revealed that a county in PA had more votes tabulated than there are voters during the 2022 elections after an investigation.

For the record, this claim is false. I support the State of Israel. They are the U.S.A.’s strongest ally in the Middle East. They are a democracy. What happened to Israel on October 07, 2023, was a crime against humanity. Israel has every right to defend itself against terrorism.
Instead of writing all that and getting in a tizzy Jonathan why don’t you just post that the longest relationship you’ve been in was 5 years. You and your old boyfriend Stewart Goldman dated for a long time that will set the record straight about your true feelings towards Israel and Jewish men.

Marchetti says that he is going to put the taxpayers another 35 million dollars in debt, not just for a ball park, but a venue that has all kinds of entertainment including a portable ice skating rink. Cuz sure as hell with all the high interest rates and inflation this HAS TO BE a good time to make ginormous spend outs. Thank god we have a mayor that has so much business and municipal finance experience huh?
I did not see the part where, while we apparently do not now have the money to paint the crosswalks on Tyler street, which runs through a half mile of the most densely populated area of the city, and has the most concentration of children, he has money for so many other things. Splash pads anyone?
In order to build and maintain a venue like the one he is envisioning at Waconah Park it will need a full time maintenance crew and a fairly large ongoing budget to mow, plow, paint, clean and police. Not to mention a hefty insurance cost. So add that annual cost to the 205 million he got last year in taxes.
And did I read he is going to be making another hefty tax abatement to one of the lucky local investment builders? And will the taxpayers be footing the utility set ups again?
Does Peter White care that the kids on Tyler street have no painted highly visible crosswalks like other kids in other towns do? And if so how does he explain their absence on Tyler street? Does Tyler street have a ward counselor by the way and if so has he ever wondered why his crosswalks are not painted going into September?

Because Pittsfield politicians get away with it. Citizens in other areas similar get to have a voice in their budgeting and spending process and they listen much better to them.

how many of our lives has changed for the worse? Who is it hurting to not rebuild this dinosaur in an awful Location? Why do we need to spend that much money to benefit so few of our community. Put it on the ballot. It’s too much money to spend to benefit too few. It has to do More with the egos of a few and the belief by the few that this is good for the are. Maybe it is but is it the best spend of that amount of money? Could we spend that amount of money and benefit a bigger percentage of the community ? How about a choice? Nope. The decision has been made. If our taxes go much higher as a percentage of the average income we will be driving more people out. So many cannot afford housing as it is. It’s not the landlords fault, expenses of maintenance, taxes, and increased purchase prices are all bigger contributors to the issue. All the power to

I wish the other few big players in the area had similar ethics instead of the, we cannot build this unless we get a deal on the backs of The taxpayers attitude that usually happens after they already purchased a building and then they hold the city hostage before they develop. It’s just padding their pockets. Call the bluff.

Personally I don’t believe anyone should be getting any taxpayers $ at all in any shape or form. Those you mention can afford to do their projects with out taxpayers $. Oh, Mill Town has received tax-incentive package(s) from the city on different projects.
Right on target, Pothole. Million spent on the Wahconah dinosaur for what? Pittsfield teams and Pittsfield school kids now have fields at Clapp Park and Berkshire Community College. We don’t need more. More parks for of all things a baseball field for out-of-town teams in a declining community is a complete waste of money and hastens our decline. Face the facts and deal with our reality. This is not the Pittsfield we grew up in. We understand the changes. Wish our now leaders did, too.

Today the residents of California Avenue should have planned a 1st Anniversary celebration. It was a year ago today that the City of Pits destroyed our street, yards and driveways with their brilliant idea to narrow our street to save money and stop speeding. Residents have met with councilors, Morales, Mayor Pete and President White many, many times. All ADMITTED that this brilliant idea was a complete failure and PROMISED a fix. Many residents have diligently sent pictures of the destruction and flooding to our “absent” city councilor and City Hall. Emails have been continually ignored and not responded to. Residents have even paid visits to City Hall, once again, ignored. The city hydro grass seeded our lawns in the spring, most residents’ lawn did not grow but if it did it was a variety of weeds and a few wildflowers. Several dogs in the neighborhood became very ill after this spraying. Why did the city not supply residents a MSDS sheet explaining the effects of this spraying? How much was the taxpayers taken for this failure? How many lies are the residents of this street going to have to endure from this malarkey speaking public officials?
Meanwhile, Mayor Pete and his City Administration has no problem spending millions on Wahconah Parks wetland. We have had a dry summer but yet the parking lot is still flooded. What happens if the new building is built, and the Wahconah Street dam finally breaks? He has no problem spending taxpayer’s money on another splash park. As you drive around Pittsfield the roads are still pothole ridden from last winter. Does anyone else notice almost every street in the Pits is torn up and the project is never finished? Come on, residents deserve better. Very fed up with all talk no action bull crap.

I believed that the 2 Pete form of Pittsfield politics would include everyone in their municipal agenda. I believed that Peter Marchetti’s 35 years in banking would lead to less city spending, such as lowering the cost of the Wahconah Park boondoggle. I believed that Pete White would call upon his imaginary friend Voltron to reduce city crime, as well as host buffets with Pork-Chops servings for all.

The action that I had submitted was passed in Council 2023. Then Councilor Marchetti wrote into it that the 2024 mayor would revisit Cali Ave to verify that the street be restored. That means, if not widened, at least the return to plane of driveways and street, drainage to curb be rectified.
