The Berkshire Eagle is reporting that the owners of a Great Barrington home construction company were refusing to let ICE take several of their employees. The business owners demanded that the ICE agents remove their masks and show ID which they refused to do, but told them to call local police to verify their identity. It says “Police” on all of their vests so these business owners surely knew they were dealing with ICE. After the arrests the business owner said, “This has put a fire in me”. To do what exactly? Prevent more criminals from being arrested? The business owners were fine when the illegal immigrants were pouring into the country with many criminals among them. That didn’t upset them. They knew what the Biden administration was doing with pouring in millions without being vetted for votes for the Democrats and to change our national identity as the globalists are doing in Europe. They weren’t upset that social security was being used by the Democrats to pay for the illegals which was putting in jeopardy a program intended for the elderly. This was discovered by DOGE.
Until they start getting serious with the companies that are hiring them for cheap labor it will continue. All you hear from the politicians around election time is them blather about good jobs with good benefits for American citizens.
Any employers hiring illegals should be put out of business, plain and simple. South county has been a haven for them for years and it’s creeping north.
There will likely be a lot more arrests in Berkshire County because of our sanctuary status. The Berkshire Eagle isn’t helping the situation by running an article about what to do and not do if you see an ICE arrest. The article isn’t helpful because it encourages people to film the arrest using certain procedures so that ICE can’t take the video and that is what Berkshire County residents are now doing. The article encourages people to just stop short of interfering by interacting with the person being arrested by talking with them, but don’t answer questions from ICE or hold doors open for them. Berkshire County residents, however, are confronting ICE as we have seen with recent arrests because they are getting too close to the situation with the videotaping and other involvement. The Dems want to manipulate the emotions of the public by running these articles in the Berkshire Eagle.
And one of The Eagle’s ownder was knows as “Freeem Freddie” as judge. Nice guy, but didn’t want to put anyone in jail.
Tom Homan should pay a visit to the people employing the criminals, and charge them with a Federal felony.
Try on some shiny bracelets and let them visit the crowbar hotel while waiting on bail/court dates.
Same for those obstructing ICE, Federal felony.

How much money in local taxes and fees does your household pay City Hall per fiscal year, please. I estimated that the average Pittsfield tax and fee payer will pay City Hall close to $7,000 per fiscal year 2026. Is that close to what you will owe from July 01st, 2025 to June 30th, 2026?

FREE SPEECH Alert:
There is a New Hampshire state legislative proposal – HB 324 – that would remove public schools’ exemption from state obscenity laws, which would expose teachers and librarians to criminal charges for including literature that some might deem “obscene”.
It is a debate between “protecting children” versus censorship. If passed, the bill would face legal challenges in court by educators, librarians, parents, publishers, and civil rights organizations.
Should book bans be allowed in our FREE Country? Is public education about children learning for critical thinking, or is it about indoctrinating them to be against sex education and diversity and the like?
Many years ago now, when I experienced Pittsfield politics in Western Massachusetts’ beautiful Berkshires, when I exercised FREE SPEECH, it was often met with RETRIBUTION. The Berkshire Eagle has blacklisted me from publishing my letters for the past a little over 21 years now. The Eagle’s “Letters” recently emailed me: “unsubscribe”.

I believe that Neal wants a peace agreement(s). I agree with his support for Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization that must be destroyed.

Yes. PAC Man Richie Neal (D-K Street) is a corporate career politician in the Swamp. Yes. He does nothing for the majority of his constituents in his large and mostly rural mostly Western Massachusetts Congressional District.
Yes. When he recently went to Ireland, he was met with protests over his support for Israel against the terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza Strip where tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been tragically killed in the ongoing military conflict after the October 07th, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel by Hamas.
I understand that both of the two paragraphs are true and factual. I believe that Congressman Neal’s insider connections to K Street corporate lobbyist firms in the Swamp stands for everything that I stand against in politics (unlike greedy lobbyist Dan Bosley, who writes his kiss-up letters praising Richie Neal).
I believe that Congressman Neal is right to stand with Israel and against the terrorist group Hamas. The reason why I write this is because 100 years ago, if important people took Adolf Hitler seriously, like important people take Hamas seriously in 2025, then the tragic Holocaust would have never happened because Hitler would have been stopped before his rise to power back then.
Ireland is a beautiful country. I know many people personally who have visited there on vacations. They all say good things about their visits to the Emerald Isle.
