CHAIN SAW FANTASY: AMERICA BOMBS IRAN

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE MONDAY MARCH 2, 2026) — Wouldn’t it be nice, THE PLANET fantasizes, to have a giant chain saw, one big enough to cut away the Middle East. We’d start hacking at Yemen, work out way up the peninsula to Saudi Arabia, Oman, U.A.E, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Sryria, Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus, Iran, and Afghanistan. Throw in a few of the other Stans (not Musial, though), especially Pakistan.

Our saw would slice the perimeters of that global chunk then hurl it at 26,000 mph, allowing it to achieve orbital velocity. There, the 1.2 million pieces of space junk in Earth’s orbit would collide with the land mass, and we would be rid of the bleeding ulcer of that region.

Reality, however, doesn’t allow for fantasies. So much for the chain saw. So much, also, for the wishful thinking that we, the United States, can bring stability through the imposition of “democracy” to backward countries still locked into the primitivism of tribal conflict and the mind-fuck of religious fundamentalism. Iran, a country of incredible beauty and sustenance, could have been an earthly paradise, but politics and religion decided otherwise, doing as ALL governments do. They foster corruption, accumulate and abuse power, and force ordinary people, good people, to suffer the consequences.

ALL governments do this.

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET has never bought into the “War on Terrorism,” brought to life by Geo. Bush II’s war-lord masters, led that late smirker, Dick Cheney. You can fight an idea, but you can never win. So why would America engage in this horrifically wasteful activity, you ask? Simple. To keep War itself, the greatest economic driver of all time, in business, which it has been, nonstop since World War II.

Look at the tragic list:

  • 1914 to 1945: Two Worlds Wars.
  • 1945 to 1990: The Cold War
  • 2001 to present: The War on Terrorism.
  • You might notice the 1990s not listed here. That’s when America lost its mind. As a consequence, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez become stars. That’s a type of domestic terrorism all its own.

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET hasn’t had the time to properly assess the recent action in Iran; events are happening too fast.  We will, however, gladly perform a dickey-do dance that we can now refer to the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, in the past tense. He’s now has a new prefix to his name: “the late.” The Very Late.

Of course, with this muscularity and display of macho, one cannot exactly say that “regional stability” has been enhanced. This is no celebration. There is nothing to praise. There is only War. And Death. We only wish “Allah Akbar” was a new type of candy bar, like the Zero bar, and not a call to mayhem. While we’re at it, can we please take the Great Gazoo Ilhan Omar and cannonball her back to Somalia? That would make THE PLANET very happy.

We invite your thoughts on the Iran situation, up, down, over, under, around, through, left, right, and in between. Meanwhile here are two recent dispatches, the first from Stars and Stripes and the second from AP.

STARS and STRIPES

Three U.S. service members were killed in action and five seriously wounded in Operation Epic Fury against Iran, U.S. Central Command said Sunday. Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and are in the process of returning to duty. Major combat operations continue, the command said. The Pentagon is withholding the names of those killed as officials work to notify next-of-kin. Identities will be released 24 hours after families have been notified, the command said. CENTCOM did not provide further details about the circumstances of the deaths or injuries. The U.S. and Israel launched extensive strikes against Iran on Saturday morning after months of stalling negotiations over the country’s nuclear program. President Donald Trump later that night announced the operation had resulted in the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader. Addressing the nation shortly after strikes began, Trump said the U.S. would never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon and vowed to raze Iran’s missile industry to the ground and annihilate its navy. He also acknowledged U.S. service members may die in the process.

AP

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said in a Sunday statement that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had become “an inspiring legend in the history of Iran and Islam” following his killing in the U.S.-Israeli attack on Tehran on Saturday.

Khamenei, the statement on X said, “lived a pious life, loved Iran, secured Iran’s independence, opposed foreign domination and worked tirelessly for our country’s resilience and fortitude.”

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a statement on Sunday morning saying that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was “martyred at the hands of the most wicked villains in the world.”

“The assassination of the highest political official of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the prominent leader and authority of the Shiite world by the sinister American-Zionist axis is considered a declaration of open war on Muslims, especially Shiites, in all corners of the world,” Pezeshkian said.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran considers bloodshed and revenge against the perpetrators and commanders of this historical crime as its legitimate duty and right, and will do its utmost to fulfil this great responsibility and duty,” Pezeshkian said.

———- ooo ———-

Again, THE PLANET invites your thoughts on the Iran situation.

I assume all you MAGA folk are taking your children and grandchildren down to the recruitment office today right? trump is trying to save America and you, as devoted disciples, need to do your part. You went to his rallies, you bought tens of millions of dollars worth of his merchandise, you ranted and raved on the various blogs and now he needs you to show whether you are a true patriot or just some carboard cutout. I understand he is going to allow all new recruits to wear their red trump hats into battle.

Dan, do you or do you not think trumps most ardent supporters should walk the walk and prove they are not just bloviating bullshitters caught up in a cult? This is trumps war and his soldiers need to be on the front lines. Unless of course they are like trump themselves and have multiple causes for deferments.

And of course they do. Barron has already stated he is not leaving the hot tub at mara largo.

trump fucked around and all Americans and all the world are going to find out.

If you are relying on the corporate controlled media, you are going to be completely in the dark on this. Things are far worse than what they are reporting. trump has opened pandoras box.

And Dan, as you do your further research, I hope you come across some real facts. This war actually has very little to do with Iran at all. It is more about China and throwing a hail mary at changing the subject away from trumps deep associating with Epstein.

This is not a drill. This is not tariffs. This is not Venezuela. This is not a 400-million-dollar ballroom. This is not trump getting a second hand peace prize.

So glad that you are not in charge of the military because you wouldn’t allow America to fight for anything. Iran with a nuke would be Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). Stop listening to Rachel Maddow. Rachel needs to finance her next African safari so she has to keep spreading lies. Iranians are so hopeful to take back their country. They left because they experienced the tyranny, but Democrats think the killed Iranian dictator was magnanimous. This is what the New York Times said of him today. President Trump is the enemy as far as the Democrats are concerned.

I assume then Pat that you approve of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and all the horrors that came with them? In hindsight would you have “allowed” them? 8 years of bloodletting and eternal sorrow for Iraq and another 20 for Afghanistan.

Will your answer be that it will be Ok because trump started this one and that makes it OK?

These people truly do not understand what facts are anymore.

When we were taught about the Holocaust, many of us had the same question: how did so many ordinary citizens go along with it? How did neighbors participate, stay silent, or convince themselves that cruelty was justified?

We assumed it required monsters.

It didn’t.

It required propaganda. It required repetition. It required convincing average people that loyalty mattered more than truth and that questioning the narrative made you the enemy.

That is the uncomfortable parallel.

No, this is not 1930s Germany. But the mechanism is familiar. Demonize. Dehumanize. Repeat. Normalize. Reward conformity. Punish dissent.

And suddenly neighbors who once valued evidence begin defending obvious falsehoods because the tribe demands it.

The most chilling lesson of the Holocaust was never that evil exists. Of course it does.

It was that ordinary people can be conditioned to accept it.

That is what we are watching now.

Spoken like a true AI-generated post. If you need convincing that VendettaChatGPT uses AI, just read this line sh…I mean, AI produced for her:

“And suddenly neighbors who once valued evidence begin defending obvious falsehoods because the tribe demands it.”

Unless you’re writing a textbook, nobody, I mean nobody, speaks like this.

Speaking of propaganda, remind us all Vendetta who Nina Jankowicz, was and what board she was appointed to under the Autopen Administration.

I’ll even quote your first sentence, “These people truly do not understand what facts are anymore.”

No, VendettaChatGPT, you and other democRATS really don’t know the facts anymore.

Poor Markus. For months now he’s been wandering the internet like a lost puppy, whining about me and hoping someone will finally pat him on the head.

What he still doesn’t seem to grasp is this: I spent decades in the legal and education fields, including writing textbooks. So when he runs to ChatGPT hoping for a “gotcha,” how exactly does he know the information it spits out didn’t come from my own work in the first place?

That’s the problem with pretend intellectuals. They think yelling louder counts as winning. Right, Sir Chaz?

And Markus, my friend, every time you open your mouth you prove the point. You can’t debate an issue without screaming “TDS” like it’s the only phrase in your vocabulary. No substance. No argument. Just the intellectual range of a outdated stripper pole.

The tough-guy routine is even funnier. Puffing out your chest online, pretending to be some kind of alpha while everyone else watches the performance. It’s a bit like Trump cosplay for middle-aged men who think bluster is a personality trait.

If you ever decide to show up with an actual argument instead of recycled slogans and chest-thumping, let me know. Until then, you’re just another guy yelling at the internet and hoping someone mistakes noise for intelligence.

You don’t wait until they have nukes. It’s too late by that time. Yes, if they had one now they would use it and that’s the problem. Iran wants nukes badly and that is why they continue their nuclear program even after much of it was destroyed months ago.

North Korea has nukes and has a reputation as a militant dictator. Didja know that? However…..

Trump repeatedly touts ‘great relationship’ with North Korean leader Kim Jong UnAt two White House events Monday — including during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung — President Donald Trump repeatedly praised North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, saying he knows him “better than anybody” and hopes to meet with him “this year.”

The Ayatollah was already 86 years old so likely others were already in charge in the country, but many top military commanders were killed. I agree that Iran is a country locked in tribal conflict and driven by a dangerous religious mission and that’s the problem if they ever had a nuclear bomb and they badly want a nuclear bomb. They were already rebuilding their nuclear program. We may not be able to change their way of thinking, but we do need to protect the world from their extremism combined with dangerous weapons of mass destruction. Look at how they don’t hesitate to target civilians and even other countries not even involved in this conflict. The Arab countries are now involved because Iran started targeting them with missiles. Other countries like Germany, France, and England are supporting Israel and the United States in keeping Iran violence contained. This has always been the danger of nuclear weapons that not all countries are evolved enough to handle such power.

Iran FA&FO

Trump stated it simply, “I got him, before he got me”.

Iran is now acting the petulant powerless child, Destroying modes of transportation (roads, bridges & airports) to trap hostages–typical practice of cowards.

While the head of the serpent is gone, the nerve center remains- much like the Kamikazes of Japan-the only way to change their mind- is kill enough , that the hopelessness is apparent ,even to fanatics ,idiots and primates. They wont quit till they are dead- the faster we make them room temperature, the better.
The enemy has now Decentralized Operations (Disaggregation): Troops avoid bunching up, as small groups (5 or more) are instantly targeted by artillery, forcing a shift from massed formations to dispersed, smaller unit maneuvers. Iraq & Afghanistan 2.0 – If Iran wants bombing to stop, give the allies the coordinates of the remaining terrorists. Then avoid the area….If the Iranian patriots want to learn tactics and tradecraft- they need to start using “First person view” to assist our efforts to precision bomb the remainder of the fanatics among them- they know the locations.

Dan
Your naivety, comes with education, hubris and lack of life experience.

I’ll expand – reasoning is useless for the unreasonable – Shiites believe in a divinely appointed Imam who is infallible, holds perfect knowledge of the Quran, and acts as a spiritual and political leader. Unlike Sunnis, who emphasize consensus.

Opinion fails any factual basis-When does America resolve the situation?
By your logic , America should of abstained from WW!& WW2?
Until The Axis of Evil killed how many?
9/11/2001 Shite terrorists murdered more Americans than June 7th pearl harbor attack. On our dime.

I pray you were not a history professor- as you fail to understand history.

Had Harry Truman , lacked the courage to Nuke Japan- we would have suffered unfathomable casualties.
Trump valuing our soldiers, unlike War criminals Johnson, Bush, Cheney, Clinton and Obama , will not be repeating Eisenhower’s mistake of sending advisors.
If the Iranian patriots want to learn tactics and tradecraft- they need to start using “First person view” to assist our efforts to precision bomb the remainder of the fanatics among them- they know the locations…

You seem to believe you can, intellect your way out of problems- Akin to learning to swim, without getting into the water.

I suggest you Leave the diplomacy and warfighting to those who know something about it.

America now has the best team of warfighters and leaders , who Trump listens to, and supports .
unlike his predecessors- Trump knows what he doesn’t know – but “The Devils in the Details.”
Trump is detail oriented.

Had Autopen not wasted effort, resources and time on DEI (didn’t earn it) , America would not be trailing on drone technology – both offensive and defensive – I’m certain Elon , is at the drawing board, as i write this…

Drones are the new Atomic bomb, changing the dynamics is war,
“The Golden Dome” going to be delayed a few months .

Trump has built a coalition in Mideast, with the egomaniacal clerics poor judgement – in his plan to decentralize upon being beheaded in mass- all in the neighborhood are hunting terrorists.

Fortunately the Demonrats are about to score, another Midterm defeating own goal with war powers vote, Its amazing how the dumbest liars get elected…
Their panic is driven, by the fact that America is now wide awake, Japan FA&FO – recovered and prospered – Iran will do the same and the middle east will be the better for it.

Only questions remaining are:
Where Trump builds first golf course?
How he grows turf in the desert?
And how badly the Demonrats , get routed in November?

Tom – this is very good. Thanks for this. Iran is to US as was Japan. The future is in the hands of the Iranians.

Nuclear strike on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was to destroy the military industrial backbone buried beneath those cities. The Japanese war policy intended to hide their military supply beneath their citizens, but the USA was bombed into war, and we were not going to vanish, and we were determined to preserve the will to fight.

It was the destruction of those two cities, and the military industrial significance hey held to the emperor’s goal of supremacy that broke their will to fight. It’s a dirty though maybe, but we had to fight to the death to prevail.

It’s always fascinating how brave people become when they believe a username is a cloak of invisibility.

Some of the loudest voices in the comment section aren’t anonymous teenagers. They’re established professionals. Community pillars. Men who have spent decades cultivating sterling reputations in Pittsfield while posting commentary that drips with contempt for the very community that supports their practices.

Here’s the thing about digital footprints.
They’re forever. It seems that a few local DOCTORS are unaware of that.
And while no one is suggesting anyone be “unmasked,” it would be an interesting public exercise to compile what has been said under the banner of righteous indignation and contrast it with the polished reputations displayed on office walls.

Patients assume professionalism.
Patients assume discretion.
Patients assume judgment.
Online behavior tells its own story.

Free speech cuts both ways. You are free to post. The public is free to read. And sometimes the most revealing biographies aren’t written by critics — they’re written in your own comment history.

Choose wisely.
Eventually you’ll be known as a participant in the Planet Valenti Files.

Rubio is a loser. He’s taking the victimless reasoning for War because he wants to escape his cowardess beating by Trump during the election. He wants to be President.

This is an adjacent ego trip for him because war especially a Dead Soldiers war where trump will try to distance himself from in case of failure. Failure.yes.

Israel has been dictating strikes? Has been killing innocent people this past year? We have no business over there. The Middle East cannot be controlled by any power.
