MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, FROM THE PLANET

THE PLANET WISHES EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Not much in order for today, except to wish everyone in The Planet’s universe a Merry Christmas.

Since late September, this site has grown, and much faster than anticipated. That is a positive sign. We had to learn a lot of the technical backstage managing of a web site like this, and, since we are not techies or geeks, this came slowly.  The amazing thing has been the numbers, which have grown exponentially, this without any paid advertising or traditional marketing. That will come in 2011.

Our goal is to turn this into the preeminent media source for news, commentary, and opinion. We will hit hard and often. We will be unsparing in our hunt for the truth. We will give people a voice here that they will not get otherwise. We will become a force in the public life of Berkshire County. We will land on the side of justice and honesty. We shall make integrity a practiced art and phoniness a ridiculed practice. We shall give those who deserve it praise and awards, and those who deserve it a red rear. We shall do so impersonally, but it is NEVER about that: We are, all of us, “good guys and gals.” We take that as a given.

For the time being, we intend to keep PLANET VALENTI as a noncommercial site. We remain unbought and unbossed. We are beholden to no special interests but the master of us all, which is Truth.

Truth seems an appropriate matter to think of on Christmas day, when Christians honor the birth of Christ. You can boil his message down to love: Love god above all things and love everyone else as you do yourself. Those who don’t believe in god can love that above all things and still practice the golden rule. Atheism, anti-theism, and agnosticism are but other forms of expressing our relationship to the absolute.

It is that love we extend to all who read this and all who won’t. And on Christmas Day, 2010, we find our spirits

Soaring. A response of peace and silence. Be mindful of the definition: prayer is what you do when you are alone. Soaring into the sacred and the mundane, which are, anyway, one and the same. We are alive to ourselves in the sense that all we experience in this life is done so fully, consciously, self-aware.

We live tangential and limited lives except for the life that prospers within ourselves: self-directed, the unprecedented of the absolute escaping into our realm. To live fully, to decide, to conclude on the basis of limited knowledge and even less Knowing — It is to observe and reflect on that observation like an intelligent mirror. For the body, we have the mirror of relationship. For the mind, we have the mirror of reason and logic. For the spirit, we have the mirror of the kingdom within us. We each are localized tangents positioned with roots on the surface of the encompassing absolute.

I have over the years tasted of the strange brew of deprivation. It has come back in opposite form, bringing with me abundance. The thirst is being quenched. We find utter delight in the mundane. We find joy even in the boredom of the vinyl-groove day-to-day weariness. We are, beyond what we deserve, blessed and happy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

WE LOVE YOU ALL.

Really? There are businesses out there that want to pay advertising dollars to be associated with rumor-mongering disguised as news?

More power to you if you can pull it off, but it can’t be that effective to advertise on a non-credible ” news” site.

Hands up, who is going to advertise on this site?

Name companies or industries possibly interested.

Thank you. I always appreciative being lied to in such a brazen manner. It allows me to better gauge credibility, or rather lack thereof.

This website is not an experiment in capitalism, it’s fuel to feed your need to feel relevant,

How to prove your lies? Easy. Post the names of the companies and decision makers who have approached you. After all, in this cyber-world this is just the type of non-sourced news that should be displayed.

You are lying. No? Prove me wrong.

Why would any business owner post the names of the businesses they negotiate with and violate the confidentiality of negotiations? It would not be a bright business decision in the least bit, regardless of if he has a desire to prove skeptics wrong. If somebody was buying your real estate, would you want to announce the potential buyer and the price being negotiated to scare off potentially higher bidders? I don’t think so.

My bet is that I will be told Joe Nichols’ businesses (transnational?) want to advertise, thus “buying” the favor of positive (if irrelevant) opinion

Really,
You are a dumbass. It’s evident to me that you’re one of the privileged few who ruberto and Angeblow take care of, or took care of. Your type doesn’t like the truth, especially when it exposes your hero’s for what they really are, excuses for men. Why don’t you have the balls to put your real name on here instead of a pseudonym? Don’t want to stand behind your words with a real name?
