“Hey, somebody’s gotta say it.”

Vagina Monologues, Meet the Pussyhats

If Donald Trump had lost, how many “pussyhats” do you think the knitting moonbats would have made? Probably not a one, because the ladies wouldn’t have marched on Washington the day after the inauguration of the new president — had their gal won. Alas, she didn’t. The sorry Mrs. Bill Clinton got beat by one of most brilliantly run presidential bids in U.S. history. He spent way less money and campaigned a ton smarter.

Fact is, the extreme left is still choking on Trump’s dust. However, he has left the loons far behind, and through the road clouds, the extremists having no remainders but their self-pity, the fuel of all victims, their Wheaties.

Oh, and they have pussyhats.

The pussyhats are the brain-addled child of Krista Suh and Jayna Zweinman, who say their knitting project is designed to “create a sea of pink hat which is going to be a strong collective visual statement” — which means exactly what and convinces exactly whom? The line reads like it came from Linda Tyer‘s “state of the city” speech.

Suh and Zweinman aren’t sure what it means. In fact, few of the marchers know why they’re marching beyond the building bile from sore losing that has soured their complexions even more than usual. In reality, if you want to talk about statements that are “strong, collective, and visual,” the ladies will have been a day late and several skeins short. President Trump will have made history the day before on Jan. 20 by taking the oath.

Doth Protesting Too Much

The week of protests has already begun. On Saturday, small bands marched in various cities to protest against the rule of law. Another name for that might be anarchy, or treason, perhaps. “Cultural” events in Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Jose, and elsewhere carried banners saying, “Tu, Yo, Todos Somos America.” Irony, even in Spanish, is lost on these lawbreakers.

Fact is, the United States has a process with which to welcome immigrants. My ancestors and likely yours came to this country that way. They left families and native lands for the opportunity that is America. They did so legally, applying, being vetted, then vigorously working to learn the language and begin at the bottom. They assimilated.

Illegal immigrants lack permission to be in this country. They should be “entitled” to nothing, nada in a native tongue, other than a one-way trip back to their native lands. Massachusetts, land of the Native American Senator whose name can be found on the bumper sticker of every Bay State Prius, believes illegals should have priority over its own citizens. Free housing. Free EBT cards. Free education. Stop THE PLANET if you’ve heard this one before.

We reject mooching and moochers. Finally, we have a president of all the people, especially the vast majority who still believe in America.

According to Donald Trump’s propaganda blogger, Dan Valenti, Donald Trump is going to be a great Prez who will bring America back to its glory through his business acumen and conservative pragmatism. All those who “resist” Trump are “extremist Liberals” who support Elizabeth Warren’s Socialist politics that put illegal Immigrants before taxpaying citizens.

According to Dan Valenti, Donald Trump is a god-like man without any flaws. However, Trump’s detractors are all flawed and will stand in the way of Trump’s political agenda.

Never mind that Donald Trump compared our nation’s Intelligence Officials to “Nazi Germany”. Never mind that Donald Trump proposed to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.A. Never mind that Donald Trump disparaged Mexicans and says he will charge Mexico to build a wall along the U.S.A. and Mexican border. Never mind that Trump disparaged women, and he has been married 3 times over. Never mind that Trump declared 4 business bankruptcies. Never mind that Donald Trump won’t release his tax returns to the public.

Interprint, in today’s Eagle, says it is expanding and will create more jobs. Manufacturing jobs, BTW. They say they are almost always hiring.

And people say there are no jobs. It just isn’t true.

“always hiring” probably turns out to mean that there is lots of turnover in the lower positions because they don’t pay enough to live off, though maybe the experience is of some value; anyway a couple of hires per month doesn’t amount to much

The immigration process is far from perfect or easy for each situation. My grandparents were liberated at Dachau in April of 1945. they waited in that same concentration camp, no occupied by the Allies, for YEARS before they were herded onto ships for New Orleans.

If we are serious about pre-processing immigrants/refugees fleeing the warlands that these United States of America created, then we should establish a forward center, at our expense, to perform background checks and hold refugees.

Maybe we can even adaptively reuse some internment camps.

Or, the US can stop “nation building” through destabilization. If we didn’t blow up these peoples’ schools, homes, hospitals, weddings… they wouldn’t come here to hate us.

As of 2009, 0.4% of the people directly provided benefits for public housing in these United States were illegal non-citizens.

If anyone can provide actual data, actual numbers, not just mynah chirps of hyper sensual nationalist suppositions, that a statistically significant portion of our welfare programs go to illegal immigrants, then I am all ears. Bring your facts.

Until then, no, not true, there is no widespread “Free housing. Free EBT cards. Free education.” this is false and misleading.

And if you were ever curious as to why Massachusetts does not ask about immigration status for public housing assistance, well the state of Massachusetts was sued for discrimination and in 1977 signed a consent decree that they would not ask certain questions, including immigration status. By my math it would be the Nixon and Ford administrations that led up to that consent decree.

Currently there is a company in all kinds of hock, won’t mention where, and because of bad timing and other factors’ went down the toilet, a business like that is the kind the government should be supporting.

I completely agree with Dan V. that we Americans welcome immigrants as long as they follow the law and go through the process to become legal.

Elizabeth Warren is a disaster. Everything that she says is controversial, but the progressive media in this state lets it slide. Her comments that she is native American were never researched competently by anyone in the media because they don’t care. Her comment today that John Lewis raises legitimate questions about Trump’s presidency are not challenged by the media. No hard hitting questions about how she can justify saying such a horrible thing. She is a Democrat progressive and allowed to get away with anything.

Whereas with Trump the media will dig deep to find any outrageous story to make him look bad whether it’s true or not. They are going to be disrespectful and stir up trouble because he isn’t a progressive. Their hypocrisy is off the charts and the public is outraged except for the progressives who cheer on the deceptive practices of this liberal media.

U.S. Rep John Lewis will be the MCLA commencement speaker here in May. Of course he will. Will they make fun of Trump and the GOP at the commencement for wanting to find jobs for people to get them off government assistance or call them haters and bigots for wanting immigrants to come here legally? They can put Trump down for supposedly being too friendly with Russia even though Obama let Putin get away with everything which has turned Putin into a very powerful man, but the liberal media let that uncomfortable little detail slide.

Progressives in this area put down locals who don’t have a work ethic, but don’t get the connection between not having a work ethic and government handouts. The two are connected. Progressives want the votes so they make sure people get the handouts, but then put them down for what happens after they become dependent on the government programs. You heard the comments above about not staying on the job and showing up for work in pajamas which is supposedly why these same jobs keep appearing over and over in the paper. Not because there are more jobs in this area, but because people do not last long in these jobs.

There is definitely something fishy about the rapid demo of Dalton Ave fire. They were suppose to only take down the east half of the building. The gas co.was told to kill the gas to that half of the building for demo only to find out that the other half of the building had also come down with a live gas line attached. The contractor had no demo permit or digsafe to do the work to that half which was still in good condition. The demo of the whole building was definitely done totally illegally. I believe the demo contractor was also part owner of the building according to the Eagle. What were they trying to hide with this unlawful and unsafe fast act?

U.S. Rep Richard Neal visited MCLA yesterday and iberkshires reported the story with a headline reading, “The Democratic Party Needs a Reset”, while the Berkshire Eagle named their article, “Neal Vows to Fight for Access to Health Care.” It is the iberkshires article that is the most interesting.

The iberkshires article gives information on how Neal believes the Democratic party needs to change to answer the needs of workers across the country. I totally agree with Mr. Neal. Instead of worrying about social engineering and herding us in and out of bathrooms, and getting everyone fighting over race and sexual orientation, the Democratic party needs to come up with solutions for the very difficult issue of technology creating a completely different working environment across the country. They need to start using actual brain power to solve a host of problems related to jobs and job loss which is outlined very nicely in the iberkshires article. I think the Democratic party also needs to stop wanting to create big government. Big government is bad for both parties and especially bad for American citizens who will no longer have as much of a say in what happens in this country except for voting in all big government leaders every 4 years. Big government is all about taking power AWAY from the people which is why the politicians want it in the first place.

My problem with the Democrats are with the people who hijacked the party, that would be the progressives. The progressives are all about social engineering, sexual orientation and stirring up race relations. These are areas that government should stay away from in my opinion. If government created jobs and got the inner cities healthy with financial opportunities, that would be the best thing to happen and would solve so many of the other problems.

Financial opportunities are often created by government having fewer regulations on companies as Trump has said. The inner cities are in such turmoil because they are living in poverty with no hope in site. Michelle Obama talks about all of this hope that was created during her husband’s presidency. Unfortunately a lot of people in this country have lost hope for a better future for themselves and their families.

Actually, financial opportunities are often the result of innovation and research. Lack of government regulations led to years of lead, asbestos, and PCB contamination across America. Lack of government regulation, just like Trump wants, is why Pittsfield is a toxic wasteland.

And if you want an article that at least attempts to explain some statistics about what inner cities are, please:

These jobs pay under $14/hr. Brien center probably caps out under $20. So, yes, they are always hiring one odd position.

Did you see where a tractor-trailer jackknifed on Rte. 116 and took out an Adams school bus. Fortunately no youngsters injured, a blessing, but much to close for comfort. Thirty kids were in that school bus. Here’s the question: what in the world is a tractor-trailer truck doing on a narrow 2 lane road like Route 116? Come on power brokers – do the right thing and put an end to this threat to kids, and to all who use this road. Tractor-trailer trucks do not belong on this road.

Rt 116 is a state rd. If we ban tractor trailers ron 2 lane roads just where in Berk County can they travel?

On 3 and 4 lane roads . That’s where they belong. Two lane cross over mountain roads is not where they belong. Please stop and think. Thirty kids were at risk here. Tractor trailers can add a little more time to reach their destination and fulfill their contracts by staying on roads that have been designed for their train style attachments and always corporate type products.

Chuck, there are numerous 2 lane roads in Berk County, prime examples are Rt 7 and Rt 102. Both have plenty of school buses that use them. The list goes on and on. Please tell me where all these 4 lane highways are. If you are lucky you can find a few short sections that are wider.

MassDOT cannot prohibit trucks on state trunk lines. Period. Isnt worthy of an argument so will never happen.

Howie Carr reported today that our illustrious state lawmakers are voting on yet ANOTHER raise for themselves tomorrow. This vote will tie in their pay raises to the state median income – therefore, no more voting on pay raises will be necessary…..their raises will be automatic!! Great timing sneaking this in, with the upcoming inauguration festivities. And of course, Charlie Baker is out of town attending private inauguration ceremonies in Indiana, so he won’t be questioned by the media about this vote.

Are you following Reno Delgallo’s attempt to pass a local law, through the Human Rights Commission and City Council, which will tie the hands of “local officials” from questioning the immigration status of area persons? Thankfully Chief Wynn is questioning the legality of such a law, since our federal immigration laws are still on the books. To your point Dan, why should people who are here illegally be given any rights and special protections?? They are breaking the law by being in this country, and hopefully President-Elect Trump will see to it that our immigration laws are upheld and followed.
