TRUMP TOOK ‘THEM’ TO THE CLEANERS, & TODAY THE WORLD WITNESSES THE STUNNING RESULT — CONGRATULATIONS, MR. PRESIDENT

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION, JAN. 20-22, 2017) — THE PLANET supported the bid of Donald Trump for president primarily because he wasn’t one of “Them.”

Film buffs may recall a film of that name from the early 1950s, with James Arness, James Whitmore, and a little known walk-on named Fess Parker. The first went on to clean up Dodge City. The last died defending Walt Disney at the studio Alamo.

Them of the film were giant ants mutated from atomic fallout, a common sci-fi theme of the time, barely a disguise for the world’s justified paranoia from the nuclear aspects of the Cold War. “Them” in THE PLANET‘s use refers to Establishment politicians, the slick bullshit artists of an oxymoronic “unpopular mandate” who make a fine living by burying ordinary Americans.

Trump began in a field of 17 seeking the GOP nod. It included flotsam with no chance and jetsam with a chance only if the other 16 died in a group hug.  Washington insiders and Mainstream Media loved Trump’s involvement. They thought it would be good for a few laughs until the Establishment’s coronated Big Three — Kasich, Rubio, Bush — clawed it out for the nomination. Everyone got the memo but Trump. One by one, like the murderer in an Agatha (not Chris) Christie mystery, he picked them off. Suddenly the GOP oligarchs weren’t laughing.

The Democrats, on the other hand, made sure to screw a resonant Bernie Sanders out of a nomination that was his to win, as the leaked Democratic National Committee e-mails revealed (thank you Julian Assange and Wikileaks). Hillary Clinton‘s goons paid Sanders a private visit. Next thing you know, Bernie, feeling the burn, dropped out, endorsed Hillary, and wound up with an expensive sports car and a $600,000 cabin on a Vermont Lake. Not that Bernie was bought off, mind you.

The jackasses on the left loved the matchup: Ma Barker versus a buffoon. Funny thing, though. Trump, spending a fraction of Clinton’s total, ran a brilliant campaign, one that vaporized the Establishment playbook. He was an IPhone 7+ cell. Hillary was rotary dial landline. He was Twitter. She was newsprint. He was time travel. She was a Currier & Ives wall calendar.

The Dems’ internal polling just before mid-October told them they were in trouble. Just about that time, coincidentally, state Democratic committees began organizing Plan B protests in the likely event that — ulp! — their female saint lost to a con man. State “Bosses” got on the blowers to local saps, as we saw in Pittsfield. They gave the word: Begin organizing protests for and around Inauguration Day. If we lose, we will do so sorely. “Eff” the orderly transition of power.

Come on down, Frank Farkas. Come on down Dennis Powell. On Oct. 12, Amos, Andy, on behalf of the local liberal loons (eternities such as Judy Williamson and Peter Marchetti) filled out the permit for the “Four Freedoms” rally. Good little Schicklgrubers. While the sourpusses were graping with their pink pussyhats askew, the con man rose to the occasion.

Donald Trump stayed true to himself. He didn’t lose his nerve, as Newt Gingrich feared. Rather, he poured it on stronger, taking on an overrated actress, a politically senile civil rights “icon,” the intelligence community, an outgoing president, and the rest of hidebound Washington, D.C.

Trump promised wonders and spit cucumbers pertaining to his first 100 days:

  • A constitutional amendment imposing congressional term limits
  • pulling out of bad trade deals
  • canceling Obamacare
  • Amping up border security
  • Rolling back restrictive energy regs that kill jobs and limit production
  • Passing an Infrastructure Act

Even The Flash couldn’t pull all that off in 100 days, but that’s not the point. The main takeaway is that President Trump will not be business as usual. He’s going to steamroll the status quo. It’s what America needs if it is to have a realistic chance of reclaiming its rightful place among nations.

THE PLANET congratulates President Trump with this verse:

——– 000 ——–

’tis strange The Donald should his talents employ

To win the office his riches can never enjoy.

It is less strange that a billionaire should waste

His wealth to eschew what he can never taste.

Not for himself he see or hears or eats.

Leaders choose their actions, measures, and meats.

——– 000 ——–

With that, we open The Comment Line. Also, be sure to check out the print version of PLANET VALENTI, now each week in the county’s best local weekly, The Berkshire Courier. Have a great weekend everybody.

Trump won on a fantasy that was repeated in his inaugural address. The “America carnage” will be eliminated by a wall and trade restrictions. He is about to discover the power of the 200 year old argument against this “populist” view. Eliminating NAFTA will destroy jobs in Detroit, tariffs will crush the American farmer and American innovation, and eliminating immigration will cut American competitiveness. We were a country that could compete with everyone in the world– the tower-dweller is trying to turn us into a third-rate economic power. He probably won’t succeed but will do plenty of damage trying to.

We are turning into a third rate economic power even before Trump came on the scene. Progressives had NO PLAN to help the people who have lost their jobs to technology. I believe they said that isn’t the job of government. We know what they think IS the job of government. That would be social engineering, getting people fighting over race, and of course climate change. They had no answers so they now try to bring down anyone who attempts to do something about problems in this country that have nothing to do with sexual orientation or green energy. They are financially well off so just like the Hollywood stars with too much money and nothing but time on their hands, they take up causes.

You need to look at the numbers. The US is the most powerful economy by any measure. We have the highest GDP, among the top in productivity, income and employment. We the envy of the world in terms of competitiveness. We lead the world in innovation (measured by patents), education (measured by universities) and science.

There is no way that anyone can conclude otherwise except to dupe millions of people into believing that they are so desperate that they need a “strong” leader.

I hate progressives and all things politically correct but I also know how to use data. NAFTA had a positive effect on the US. The Transpacific partnership would have. We are the leaders in free trade. If the tower-dweller tries to destroy this there will be hell to pay in Congress and the business community.

On inauguration day, one brave man who obviously wasn’t afraid of getting injured or killed approached a group of violent male protesters and asked how many of them were being paid by George Soros to provoke violence? At least 15 of them raised their hands. George Soros, a progressive billionaire, was behind a lot of the violence at the Trump rallies and now after Trump is elected. Why doesn’t anybody go after this man? How can it be legal for people to pay other people to commit violence? Also I know it’s okay to protest, but to threaten violence against the White House should also be a crime.

Speaking of the flick Them!, giant ants and worms are in our near future, if not on our dinner plates. Advanced societies collapse when demand outstrips water and soil resources. But, scientists are working on ways to head that fate off in ways we have only seen in movies. Ever wonder what those UFO really are? Odd flight patterns, strange lights, sentient behavior. Could they be escaped bugs from USDA laboratories?

Essentially Trump believers want to be lied to.The press secretary is involve with petty issues that nobody is arguing. The crowds of peaceful protesters out numbered the Trump crowd 3 to 1.Why would you argue about these numbers. The shut down parks estimates because the numbers for inauguration were embarrassing low and they were told no more estimates of crowds.

Ya gotta love Kellyanne Conway. An inauguration day is one of the great photo ops every 4 years. Movie stars, wanna-be movie stars, Gucci and Lauren gowns, beautiful Trump women, powerful and famous men and women, all looking to shine on television and computers. And guess who is receiving as much publicity as all theses famous folks? Kellyanne Conway, that’s who. Good for her.

Kellyanne didn’t wear a Lauren gown. She wore a red, white, and blue toy soldier outfit with a red bow tie. She looked fabulous. Even if you disagree one must admit it took courage and guts to do this and these are attributes this talented lady has in spades.

Is the City Council and or Mayqor axcutely aware of the current turmoil in the City of Pittsfield. Aren’t our hight taxes supposed to be for the goings on in the City. The number and a high number of reoccuring calls that go out to repeat offenders is out of control. Every single day, many many calls, the same players, there almost like who’who in the City. We need to correct that, the Police need to focus on speeding, jay walking, downtown safety, not domestic violence repetition. The Streets in the City are too dark, you can barely see in front of you on many, especially the side streets. Drunk Driving is pretty well taken care of by Police, but the driving enforcement needs to step up at the Citation level, speeding ring a bell? Red Light and Stop sign, many others.

There seems to be a high influx of homeless treading on Downtown, which is unfortunate, but it’s the Repeat Incidents and Ambulance runs that are needless and costly to everyone. Day after Day. People will never come downtown, unless you are satisfied with the status quo. Drain the Swamp Mayor and City Council.

Here are a few factoids that you Obama-lovin’, Globalist Trolls should know;
– on his LAST DAY IN OFFICE, Obama gave the Palestinian Authority $221 million taxpayer dollars
– on that same day, he turned over 4 million dollars to climate change programs
– AND $1.25 million for UN organizations
– AND he pardoned more drug-dealing, gun-carrying criminals that any other president in U.S. history

And you’re calling Trump insane??
