WE’RE BAAAAAAAAACK: THE BRIDEGROOM YET COMETH

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, SATURDAY JUNE 3, 2017) — Like a thief in the night, THE PLANET has returned. As J said, if the master of the house knew when the thief was coming, he would have prepared. You didn’t know, we realize, unless you, as the faithful reader, kept checking. Consequently, if you discover that we are back up and prepared to fly Mach III with our head on fire, you are in the know. And if you discover this bit of news, you may keep it to yourself or tell another.
Two then tells four, four eight, and — as the grains of rice double into infinity on each of the chess board’s 64 squares, inundation begins again, and nervous politicians, bumbling bureaucrats, and anyone in a public and official position with something to hide begins to sweat just a little bit more. Why? Oh, that’s easy — because the hammer, once lifted, can come down again, and they never know when it is above their dome.
Thus we say “welcome,” though not “welcome back,” for we were never away. You only didn’t know where to look. As ever, you remain dear to us here at the Fortress. Stay tuned. Keep alert. The bridegroom yet cometh.
