D.A. SOURCE: ALLEGED BARD RACIAL ATTACK NEVER HAPPENED

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY OCT. 21, 2019) — Sources connected to the District Attorney’s office tell THE PLANET that extensive testing of physical evidence taken from the scene of the alleged racial attack at Bard’s College (Simon’s Rock) show no indication the incident ever occurred. A D.A. source says the alleged attack never happened. The source also says the “victim” was more a perpetrator.

Tawana Brawley anyone? Jason Smollett?

Supposedly, a white male or males dragged an 18-year-old black female student 75 yards in the woods, then attacked and stabbed her. Great Barrington police found no evidence of the attack. That didn’t appease the troublemakers on campus, and, with the school as dupe, the story — rather, the non-story — has been allowed to infect the county.

Berkshire County Andrea Harrington has released details saying the woman faked the story. THE PLANET commends her, because that will help calm the waters. We call upon Bard to bring the full weight of academic discipline on this faker. For whatever kicks she got out of being a flashpoint Brawley, she has helped to ruin an academic year for an entire student body. Education ought to mean more than that.

———- ooo ———-

The D.A.’s office tells THE PLANET the alleged incidents of swastikas and other racially offensive graffiti found on campus were done to stir up racial turmoil. The D.A. says the girl [alleged victim] was part of a group that put up the graffiti. If this is true, these “students of color” invented an explosive incident. Again, Bard administrators must do their job and hand out consequences.

This aligns with a report from Police Report, a Veddy Connected PLANET source, who also says the alleged victim of the attack had a hand in the other racial markings: “She was actually the person on tape, along with at least two other ‘students of color’ who carved the swastika in the partitions and who scribbled “Nigger” all over campus bulletin boards.” [EDITORIAL NOTE: Police Report did not use the word “nigger.” PR used ‘the ‘N’ word.’ It is THE PLANET‘s style not to empower the word by euphemism. Editorially, we use the word in all its ugliness.]

The D.A. says the Barrington police got it right. According to the D.A., the victim’s cuts did not align with holes in her clothing. There was no evidence of the girl having been dragged through the woods. There was no sign of “defensive” injuries such as those that would be consistent fighting an attack. There were no evidence of assailants. Lab analysis of evidence taken from the girl and the scene all pointed to a fake story.

If this information is correct, we have another fake hoax.

Scared administrators at Bard, in their epic mishandling of the incident, over-reacted. They shut down classes for a week, deciding, in effect, to punish the entire innocent student body. We wonder how many students and parents of students feel ripped off when the school refuses to deliver its basic services, costly ones at that.

———- ooo ———-

Social media poured lighter fluid on a narrative that, not long ago, would have been dismissed without a public trace with the perpetrator(s) kicked out of school. Today’s troublemakers, however, realize that when there’s a cry of “racism,” authority will rush to judgment, ignore the evidence, and bend in Joaquin Phillips’-like contortions in response. They do this to avoid further protests, cash-grab lawsuits, and additional claims of “victimization.” In doing so, they make victims of us all.

Bard administrators must realize these “students of color” have put the school’s credibility, to say nothing of their own personal accountability, on the line. What will these campus authorities do in response? Will they lose control of the campus, or will they act for justice?

One can only hope the young woman and her friends learns from their mistake. THE PLANET also hopes the same for the Bard administration. It will take a while before their lost credibility with and in the community finds restoration.

I’m going to have strongly disagree, Dan. The DA’s statement never came close to saying the incident didn’t happen. It ended by saying they were still investigating the motive of the attack. This perpetuates the idea that it did happen. It’s a situation that was allowed to explode due to the DA’s two weeks of foot dragging when these inconsistencies were apparent from the beginning of the investigation. Regardless, we should not be looking to Bard to find justice. That’s the DA’s job. The entire community was put in an uproar over this and it caused damage to efforts to combat racism. Everyone involved should be prosecuted.

No, Dan. This was a statement from her PR person on behalf of her office. She has not made a statement herself, to the best of my knowledge. She does not have the courage or integrity to stand up for justice. AH makes a point of pandering to the black community. To wit: traveling to Selma to march across the bridge – pure pandering. Who can blame her? All the white people of GB and Williamstown feel holier because of it, despite the fact they are rarely in harm’s way, unlike the residents of the west side of Pittsfield. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Dan, as Police Report can attest to, filing a false report is a crime unto itself and if the DA does what’s right she will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, not only the alleged victim but any and all who aided and abetted with the racist language – by the way, writing the racist language may rise to the level of a hate crime unto itself as well regardless of the perps own race. So, will the GB Cops be filing charges, or the Mass State Police, or is the DA gone treat the perp like a disenfranchised minority who needs help???

Dan, the key words in your statement are “social media.” It’s hard to tell the truth from fiction these days as a result, and it’s a tool for both sides to give legs to false narratives. From #metoo to race relations, to white power, social media has really allowed radicals to turn fictions into “facts.”

All the enslaved have been dead for years. Alive blacks have been given preference for government jobs and college admissions for years, and often still are, at the expense of whites who have done nothing wrong. Past sins are no reason for fake racism, and that you are willing to let the Brawleys and Smolletts of the world slide shows your true colors – a liberal progressive outta touch person who ain’t living in the real world that elected a black governor and president

At some point we have to recognize that there is a part of human nature that is very dark. And that darkness has been recorded as far back as the Roman Colosseum and even to the days when Jesus was put on the cross.

Life is not fair, never has been and never will be. To compensate people living today for what happened to their ancestors seem ludicrous to me, as it would involve every person and animal living on earth.

State troopers systematically steal from the the state in fake overtime, Embezzling movie theater owners walk off never being investigated, politically connected friends get away with all kinds of perversions of justice because they are on the in … Museum boards rip off the art they are meant to protect …

We have state D.A. who has an ‘agenda’ and non of it means enforcing laws against her friends. Same as last local DA, same as current DA.

Debate notes…

I wish Pete White wasn’t a Tyer robot. I think he genuinely cares about Pittsfield. He’s easily swayed though, so under a Mazzeo administration his rubber stamp might be okay…

Pete Marchetti basically morphed into Linda Tyer. Almost verbatim, he regurgitated her platform like it was his own thoughts. Completely weird. I think he’s out of touch and I think replacing him wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Orrin Stark – I think that’s his name. Means well but he hasn’t a chance.

Blumin – I loved every moment of him. His funny sayings, his Russian mafia speaking voice, it was great. I think he would be a breath of fresh air on the council. He had me 100 percent until his take on cannabis taxes which was pretty naive but overall he gets my vote.

Yuki Cohen – I like her personality and apparent business acumen. She really seems to love Pittsfield. I don’t think it was smart to say she is running because someone asked her to and then refer to or look at the mayor a couple times during the debate. Was it Tyer?

Earl Persip – I don’t think he offers anything to the table. My favorite line was his argument that the state is making Western Mass take the brunt of solar power initiatives by building solar arrays only on the western end of the state. “They’re not building these solar arrays in the middle of Boston.” Correct, is an explanation needed as to why not…?

Jay Hamling – I like him too. Well spoken, well thought out, and smart. Out of all the people on the panel, he seems closest to a true representation of the majority of tax payers.

It was obvious from the start this was a hoax.
It followed a similar escalation pattern to the Jessie Smollett hoax.
Scrawlings and mostly passive “threats” to a faked attack.
Some of the lowlights of this racially motivated hoax

The victim was one of the people that “found” some of the original racists carvings and scrawlings.

Her finding the scrawlings somehow made her a target of an attack.

The swastika and use of the N-word don’t match traditional hate based crimes with a directed attack. Although it’s true that white supremacists tend to hate everyone that’s not white, they tend not to overlap when doing directed attacks.
What was done was done by someone who thinks they know how to act like a white supremacist. Hundreds of profiles of how white supremacists indicate that someone scrawling carving swastikas would more likely write other anti-Semitic words like Jew not use the N-word. It is understood she wrote the n-word, reported it and since that gained no traction (many thought it was just a form of graffiti and not racially motivated) so she escalated the imagery.
What the woman of color didn’t understand at the time, there was already suspicion with documentation that she or someone else in one of the “of color” groups was doing this.
Demands for more staff of color had been an ongoing demand of the students of color groups.

The escalation of violence made no sense in relation to simple carving and the use of the n-word.

Her being the self described target of the attack because she was one of the people that found some of the graffiti again makes zero sense. That level of escalation never happens, there’s a few steps in between that normally happen with escalating racial attacks.

The motive and opportunity of the assault made no sense. The person knocked her out, carrying or dragging her 75-100 yards then stabs her and cuts her but doesn’t kill her? Again makes no sense in an escalation of violence.
The perp would have killed her or sexually assaulted her with objects if it followed the most common profiles of racially motivated attacks.

The physics of the attack make no sense. She was allegedly knocked unconscious for 45 minutes, that type of attack would be debilitating and have long term consequences.
If they used drugs it would have shown up in a tox screen, if they used an object, there would have been evidence, bleeding on the brain, a hematoma, a concussion.
If they used they hands or rope and denied oxygen to the brain, the impacts would have been much more long term, there would be ligature marks, there would have been micro hemorrhaging in the blood vessels in the eyes.
You can’t “knock someone unconscious” for 45 minutes and not have severe secondary consequences that would not of allowed her to walk out of the hospital a few hours later.
It’s important to note that the medical professionals knew this immediately.

Cut marks were extremely superficial, cut makes didn’t align with any on her clothes. If someone is going to use enough force to knock you unconscious for 45 minutes, drag you into the woods, you are not going to come out of that alive or alive but without severe mutilation. It again just doesn’t fit the profile.

There was no description of the attacker. There were symbology (the swastika and use of the n-word) to point clearly in one direction.

White supremacists at Bard make zero sense. A white supremacist that is so motivated to violence wouldn’t attend that college in the first place, wouldn’t work there, wouldn’t be anywhere near Bard.

The demands kept going back to hiring more staff of color. It was actually one of the primary demands. That and that the administration take the racially motivated attacks and hate language and symbology more seriously. This is where it gets interesting. The school already knew much of the hate speech and writings on campus for a hoax. They didn’t take it “seriously” because they would then have to go after their own students of color who were clearly perpetrating they hoaxes.

The school hired a private investigative firm to put distance between themselves and the message they knew was going to come out. The crimes were all hoaxes.

The DA put out an extremely detailed press release about the victim. She did this to quash those gearing up to use this as a political and economic grab.
The level of detail forever taints a jury pool in the area, the case made international news.
She has telegraphed that restitution will be part of any future negotiation.

Understand also that the GB police, MSP, and DA knew almost immediately this and the other racist imagery was all part of a hoax and most likely perpetrated by those making the claims. It was very clear to all parties including the medial personal that none of this added up.

The worst part of this, the initial news of a racially motivated attack made headlines and newsfeeds all over the world, the beginnings of the retractions didn’t and they won’t.

It’s unfortunate that the most racist individuals at the college are the students of color that perpetrated this hoax and continue to perpetuate their imaginary attacks.

I could see some serious violence erupting in Great Barrington over the use of plastic water bottles or plastic bags or insufficiently organic food. I bet the anti horse racing crowd has some punches in them too. ( I do wonder if they have ever been to Saratoga and seen how nice it is. But they prefer the pot. )
‘Woman of color’ is a wide net too that is getting wider. Could that be anyone with Southern European lineage. My guess is it’s not a black girl or they would have said that.
Taking racism seriously is important despite this.

PR-with your statement, “It’s unfortunate that the most racist individuals at the college are the students of color that perpetrated this hoax and continue to perpetuate their imaginary attacks,” does this really surprise you?

Our past president pretty much started the war on cops, by people of color. Remember the BLM protests after some of these “bad police shootings,” Obama claimed? . Looting and stealing TV’s and liquor, really helped me take their cause seriously.

If I were a non-student/parent of color, and no punitive action was taken against these students of color, I would consider a class action lawsuit against the college. At the very least, the college owes the parents a weeks worth of tuition, etc, back. The college is going to owe somebody. It’s what happens when you pander to liars.

The man, whose name police have not released, had filed a complaint saying when he got off an MBTA bus near Broadway Square in Malden at 10 p.m. Tuesday, at least two white men approached him.

The men used a racial slur, made a reference to lynching and warned him this is Donald “Trump country now,” according to the report he gave police. He was able to get away from the men and hid before calling police, officials said.

Will all swearing be banned next? Give the far left more power as in the Green New Deal and even more big government and we will be prisoners in this country. How about if someone doesn’t like how you look at them? Will that be a crime? Certain people can shoplift and destroy property, sell drugs, and steal under $250.00 and get away with it, but swearing deserves 6 months in prison?!?

The -dRATS in bASStun have already removed the Citizens of mASSchusetts 2nd amendment rights, so why be surprised they are now talking away out 1st amendment rights?

Too bad the brave men of 1776, now rolling in their graves, could not pay a visit to the Socialists infesting Beacon Hill.

No,White is to Marchetti as Yon is to McCandless. Guranteed they’ll hand pick the next replacement for Superintendent and give him-her marching orders as well. Jake doesn’t know it but he has more power than the mayor or d a.

Can you see reformative justice prosecutors prosecuting someone for calling someone a bitch. So if Brady throws an errant pass and Edelman comes back to the huddle and says’ why did you do that bitch’? Edelman goes to jail?

And a lawyer could poke holes in court, like….Your Honor, he said itch not bitch, or, ‘all I said was, your a witch’or, ‘you told on me,you snitch’,and the most common one sumbitch, which is slang in Georgia meaning son of a bitch, but in a good way,or’that sumbitch can throw a football,or,’man that was some fastball he has..I’ll be a sumbitch.

I also just received Tyer’s latest mailing of lies. What a big bunch of clowns. Ruberto is standing in front of Lovely Linda which proves he has been running Pittsfield. From the way Lovely Linda is standing and the look on her face she either farted or crapped her pants. From the looks on Mary O’Briens, Helen Moons, Kathy Amusos, Tricia Bouvier Kennedy Onassis’s, Kevin Sherman and Earl Persips faces I would say she crapped them. The two Jerry’s are too sh*t faced to even know where they are. Lady Boots must have forgotten her teeth maybe at McCandass’s house. Both PeePee Petie and Bare Bare look like they are 8 months pregnant. Then on the other side you see the three stooges who have not done anything between the three of them to help us taxpayers. You could not pay me to vote for any of them. The Tyer trolls keep saying that Melissa was on the council for tens years and did nothing, what about PeePee Petie. At least he and Lovely Linda have something in common because his photo on the front of City Hall steps looked like he was peeing on the steps.

Dan,the vacuum chamber EMA the picture showed at Silly Council, looks peculiarly like a Tyler Street garbage can. Could it be? I know I could operate that iron lung. Remember the Iron. Lung? When this thing fails E M A will look to get some more cash to move its Computer Based Operation to move here.

This EMA sound like carpetbaggers with an idea, we have no clue they will succeed. The only way I would vote for accepting the money required is that they put their own money up,which they did.

Hope I’m dead wrong and good luck. It’s better than nothing at this point. Pittsfields real problems into next year are crime infrastructure and school funding, again, the holy triumvirate all three that had bad results.

My gut feeling is Mazzeo is ready, can do better, and any jobs that will create revenues will help. She will Dot the I.
