GUEST COLUMNIST: IN SUPPORT OF IMPEACHMENT

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY DEC. 23, 2019) — One of the lessons imparted to THE PLANET years ago by the redoubtable Peter Arlos of Pittsfield and the indomitable Mary Flynn of Stockbridge was always listen to your critics. They both knew that in public life, one would find them in droves, particularly a journalist always daring to ask “why?” and often not satisfied with the official answer. In that vein, when we ran a recent guest column knocking the impeachment of President Trump, critics howled (others appreciated it). They said we had an obligation to “present the other side.”

Let’s get this straight right now. THE PLANET has no “obligation” to any one or any cause. We present issues as we see fit. Period.

Nonetheless, people like Truthsayer, Mr. G., and others presented an idea that since our point here at THE PLANET is to provoke debate, discussion, and deliberation, the cause would be better served by publishing the “other side” on so singular an issue. Point taken. We do that here, with an article by George T. Conway first published in The Atlantic insupport of the impeachment. We present it with the same invitation as we did with our previous guest column. Give us your views.

With that, here is Conway’s column:

———- ooo ———-

As rare as impeachments may be, today’s impeachment of Donald Trump, president of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors was pretty much inevitable.

It was inevitable because of Trump himself, his very character, whose essential nature many who now support him have long understood. As Senator Ted Cruz put it in May 2016, Trump is a “narcissist at a level I don’t think this country has ever seen.” Just this year, Senator Lindsey Graham tried to excuse Trump’s racist, vitriolic attacks on congresswomen of color as “more narcissism than anything else.” “That’s just the way he is,” Graham said.

Indeed, that is the way he is. As I’ve explained at length in this magazine, Trump’s exceptional narcissism defines him, and it’s what makes him wholly unfit for his job. “The fundamental life goal” of an extreme narcissist, as one psychologist has put it, “is to promote the greatness of the self, for all to see.” And that’s Trump, to the point of absurdity, mendacity, even delusion: Calling reporters pretending to be “John Barron,” a fake PR man, to bragabout his wealth and sexual exploits; lying about the size of his inauguration crowd; asserting that Robert Mueller’s report provided him with “complete and total exoneration” and found “no obstruction”; claiming that his July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was “pitch perfect” and that the whistle-blower “got the conversation almost completely wrong”—not to mention the thousands of other lies that have been cataloged over the course of his presidency. So narcissistic is Trump that he attempts not merely to con others, but to con himself, to assure himself of his greatness. Cruz againnailed it in 2016: Trump is a “pathological liar” who “doesn’t know the difference between truth and lies.”

[George Conway: Trump is unfit for office]

In essence, Trump thinks everything should be about him, for him, for his benefit and glorification—and he can’t comprehend, and doesn’t care about, anything that isn’t. The American diplomat David Holmes testified that Ambassador Gordon Sondland explainedto him that “the president only cares about ‘big stuff’”—clarifying, according to Holmes, that this meant “big stuff that benefits the president.”

And that’s why Trump can’t comply with his duties to the nation, and why he now stands as the third president ever to have been impeached. His own stated view of his constitutional authority can only be described as narcissistic: “I have an Article II, where I have to the right to do whatever I want as president.” But as the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment report rightly explains, “Impeachment is aimed at Presidents who believe they are above the law, and who believe their own interests transcend those of the country and Constitution.” Or, as then-Representative Mike Pence put it in 2008: “This business of high crimes and misdemeanors goes to the question of whether the person serving as President of the United States put their own interests, their personal interests, ahead of public service.” It was inevitable that, given his boundlessly self-centered bent, this president would do precisely that.

Which he did when he repeatedly and criminally obstructed the Mueller investigation, because he feared it would undercut his electoral triumph. He could have been, and should have been, impeached for that alone. And which he did once more when he put his own interests first—again subordinating the nation’s security—by trying to shake down Ukraine to obtain an electoral advantage over a political rival. That, too, violated his oath of office—an oath the Framers of the Constitution viewed as sacrosanct—and thus constituted, as the House rightly found, an impeachable offense.

And ever the narcissist, Trump can admit no wrong. Not only that; the man who clumsily Sharpied a weather map to cover up a mistake in a tweet continues to insist that he acted perfectly in all respects. Trump’s desperate, unhinged letter yesterday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi demonstrates that he doesn’t understand what his constitutional duties require, and should cement the case for his removal: “You know that I had a totally innocent conversation with the President of Ukraine.” The “transcript” of that conversation shows “that the paragraph in question”—the “do us a favor, though” paragraph—“was perfect.” “I have been deprived of basic Constitutional Due Process.” “You view democracy as your enemy!” With virtually every word of that letter, Trump showed that he has no idea how he violated his oath of office—and will never be made to comprehend it. Trump would surely do it all again, and violate his oath again, if given the chance.

But the presidential oath isn’t the only oath at issue now. House members also swear an oathto bear true faith” to the Constitution, and to faithfully execute their duties. Yet too many of them—in particular, 197 Republicans—violated that oath today by voting against impeachment. Worse yet, many have shamelessly mimicked Trump’s mendacity and nihilism, making dishonest and absurd claims in his defense: among many others, that Trump didn’t ask Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden; that Trump was truly concerned about corruption in Ukraine; that Ukraine interfered with our 2016 presidential election; that Republican members of the House were prevented from asking questions of witnesses, and were excluded from investigative proceedings.

Senators swear the same oath as members of the House, and that oath, along with the Senate’s constitutional obligation to “try all Impeachments,” should require them to hold a real trial on the charges against Trump, with live witnesses—including John Bolton and Mick Mulvaney, whose testimony Trump has ordered to be blocked. Equally important, senators acting as jurors in an impeachment trial must take a second oath as well, required by the Constitution: to “do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws, so help me God.”

[Read: Trump won’t just violate the rules again—he’s already doing i]t

And so senators—especially the Republicans—will face a choice that they should understand goes far beyond politics. They must choose whether to follow the facts, or to follow their fears; to uphold propriety, or to perpetuate partisanship; to champion the truth, or to legitimate lies; to defend the interests of the nation and its Constitution, or the personal interests of one vainglorious man. In short, whether to comply with their solemn oaths, or not.

Should they choose to violate their oaths, history will long remember them for having done so—not simply because of the insurmountable evidence of what Trump has already done, but also because Trump, by his nature, will assuredly do it all again.

———- ooo ———-

Thanks to Dan’s prior column on the mayor’s abode at 3 Pheasant Way, dropping in value from fy 18 t fy 19, coupled with the fy 2020 assessments, here’s how it shakes out.

FY 2018 595,700
FY 2019 586,700
FY 2020 601,700

So this year my valuation goes up 6.3 percent, and over 8 percent in 2 years, while Tyer-Clairmonts goes up 1 percent over two years.

Mr Conway,

Why is Mr Biden not being prosecuted for his actions in the Ukraine? He’s on tape bragging about his strong handed quid pro quid. Would it have been better if Trump just had AG Barr prosecute him? Clearly Biden admitted to being a crook!!!

Schiff has done many things in his clandestine “investigation”, among them, violations of the 1st 4th and 6th amendments.

Because nothing illegal happened, conspiracy theories on Faux News or Infowars are BS that you’re too smart to believe if you weren’t wearing blinders, AG Barr is a puppet/criminal extension of Trump. Don’t give me the line Trump is great. Go and research all the court cases he’s lost. He’s lied in depositions. Screwed small-time contractors from carpenters to plumbers to painters to drapery makers to furniture companies to casino employees to chauffers to cooks et al out of their rightful paychecks. His casinos went bust. His charity was labeled a fraud by both the state of NY and the IRS. His Trump University was declared a fraud and he had to pay settlements to all students. His airline failed. His winery failed. His Trump steaks failed. This isn’t fake media stuff. This is right from court filings across the country.

Defending Trump is like saying no Catholic priest ever sexually assaulted anyone. I have read your posts and you sir, are far better and far smarter than that.

Trump has declared his innocence! So, let it be!

Okay. Then why is it every person who has accused him was willing to and has testified under oath under the pains and penalties of perjury?

They why has Trump sued to block all of his defenders from testifying, blocked the release of documents that prove his innocence, or his defenders have refused themselves from testifying?

Wasn’t it Trump who said only the mob and guilty people plead the Fifth? Isn’t that what he’s doing?

So, by Trump’s own campaign words and actions, are you not defending a man who is really guilty or as dirty as a mobster. That’s just applying Trumpian words and logic from the King of Twitter.

It is always the worst hypocrites who love to point their self-righteous proverbial finger at people with mental health issues. Donald Trump has an alternative personality that portrays him as a strong leader. It is unfair to call him a narcissist. I believe it is wrong to stigmatize people with mental health issues. I also believe Donald Trump should be kind and thoughtful when responding to his critics.

Everyone already knows he will not be convicted by the U.S. Senate next month. There are 53 Republicans, 45 Democrats, and 2 Independents in the U.S. Senate. They need 67 votes to convict the U.S. President to remove Donald Trump from the Oval Office. The math doesn’t add up in the Democratic Party’s favor.

Impeachment is a serious matter that should not be undertaken because you don’t like the personality of the president. I completely disagree with this article because it is now being investigated that the idea of Trump/Russian collusion was set into motion by bad people high up in the FBI who wanted to take down a president even before he was elected. It was one of many insurance policies that we have become aware of thanks to phone calls between FBI agents Struczk and Page. It’s a lot of nerve to suggest by the Atlantic writer of this article that President Trump should have been impeached for obstructing the Mueller investigation. There was never any obstruction and the investigation was completed and nothing was found.
President Trump was frustrated by the investigation casting a shadow over his presidency which is very understandable and was also part of the intention of the people who caught up President Trump into the Russian interference in our elections which had NOTHING to do with President Trump, but everything to do with the previous administration who DID allow Russia to get out of control. We don’t know what else happened because when Obama was promising to “have more flexibility with Putin after the elections”, the media just let it go and we ended up with Russia attempting to interfere in our elections. The Mueller investigation was intentionally looking into the wrong administration to find the reason why Russia was so bold as to attempt to interfere.

I think you might have chosen a better article. The narcissistic character of the Wharton Grad was well known before the 2016 election. (we compete with Wharton and they need to take credit for the quality of their education on display in every tweet..). In spite of this, 63 million Americans voted for him. The question of impeachment is not whether the Wharton Grad is generally a self-obsessed person, but whether he specifically decided to delay vital military aid to Ukraine to force them to investigate Biden. The military aide was delayed but was it delayed because the Wharton Grad wanted to see progress on Ukrainian anti-corruption or was the delay tied to a legal attack on Biden? So far, the Democrats have not been able to answer this question. It is striking that the 22 Republicans who are not running for office in 2020, many of who have opposed the administration, voted no on impeachment. They are not partisan, they are not afraid of any “base”, nor are they trying to raise money to run. They are simply not convinced by the evidence. Nor am I. The Democrats have uncovered a gold mine of evidence that will help them win. The Wharton Grad has no real “foreign policy” and just careens from issue to issue dismissing the expertise of people with long experience and knowledge. There are a long list of talented, dedicated people who think this administration is grossly incompetent. The Democrats have shown why the world is laughing at us–but this is not a reason to impeach. In eleven months the voters can again decide whether this pathetic narcissist should be re-elected. The evidence is not strong enough to remove him from office.

This week, Presiding Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) Judge Rosemary Collyer, released two stern Orders taking the FBI to task for its repeated failures, omissions, and misrepresentations in its application and subsequent renewals to surveil Carter Page.

And while one FBI employee has received a criminal referral for doctoring evidence in the scheme to defraud the court, key players with oversight responsibilities — under penalty of perjury — have been given a pass.

Judge Collyer’s December 17, 2019 Order, written after the publication of Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s long-awaited report on FISA abuse, emphasized the role the FBI plays when it makes its assessment on whether probable cause exists to a warrant. In particular, FISC requires the FBI agent swearing to the application fully and accurately provide “information in its possession that is material to whether probable cause exists.”

She noted that the IG Report revealed “troubling instances in which FBI personnel provided information to NSD which was unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession.” Judge Collyer also expressed concerns about the FBI Office of General Counsel attorney, reported to have been Kevin Clinesmith, who altered evidence to mislead about Carter Page acting as a source for the CIA.

That Order required:

(1) The government to inform the Court in a sworn written submission of what it has done, and plans to do, to ensure that the statement of facts in each FBI application accurately and completely reflects information possessed by the FBI that is material to any issue presented by the application. (A January 10, 2020 deadline was given for this submission and left the government with room to maneuver if it needed more time.)

On December 20, FISC released Judge Collyer’s mostly unredacted December 5, 2019 Order to the United States. This was apparently prepared in response to letters filed with FISC by the government relating to the issues found with the Carter Page application and renewals during the course of the Inspector General’s investigation. She ordered the United States inform FISC by writing of the following:
1) Identify all other matters currently or previously before this Court that involved the participation of the FBI OGC [Clinesmith] attorney whose conduct was described in the Preliminary Letter and Supplemental Letter;

(2) Describe any steps taken or to be taken by the Department of Justice or FBI to verify that the United States’ submissions in those matters completely and fully described the material facts and circumstances; and

(3) Advise whether the conduct of the FBI OGC [Clinesmith] attorney who has been referred to the appropriate bar association(s) for investigation or possible disciplinary action.

This is a serious Court that deals with serious matters of national security and counterintelligence. The secret nature of FISC requires the United States to be in strict compliance with all certification and verification requirements. It’s a matter of trust. As Judge Collyer observed: “FISC expects the government to comply with its heightened duty of candor in ex parte proceedings at all times. Candor is fundamental to the Court’s effective operation.”
This trust was broken by the FBI agents and officials whose factual assertions to FISC were inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, and unsupported by the evidence. The duty of candor was breached in the continued reliance on Christopher Steele via DOJ official Bruce Ohr (after they represented to FISC that he had been terminated as a source) and the omission of material facts and exculpatory evidence that undercut their now-debunked representation that Carter Page was operating as a Russian agent.

From above link

“On Tuesday Rosemary Collyer, the presiding judge on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), rebuked the FBI under Director James Comey for the abuse of the FISA Court.

“The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the [Office of Inspector General] report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above,” Collyer wrote.

“The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable,” she added.”

Hunter Biden is being investigated. In fact he was the subject of a multiple modified FISA warrants under the Obama administration. Originally his name appeared in 7 warrants, his name was removed during the actual filing.

He is currently under investigation for money laundering (over $6.5 million via Morgan Stanley) counterfeiting (of bond papers and EUC documents), Tax Fraud, and for trying to circumvent ITAR regulations for the export of highly controlled computer parts/chips to the Ukraine.

Biden’s business dealings with Galanis, Cooney and Archer are going to be big news again.
Hunter dodged the first round when they were found guilty, he won’t be so lucky this time.

1. “Trump’s exceptional narcissism defines him, and it’s what makes him wholly unfit for his job.”

As opposed to every other man who has held the office–or any elected office. This is major fallacy committed by the Left from the beginning. What qualifies one for the presidency is natural-born citizen and at least 35 years of age. That and 270 electoral votes.

LBJ was quite the piece of work. Did that disqualify him? Did JFK with two hookers in the shower off the White House pool disqualify him?

2. “I have an Article II, where I have to the right to do whatever I want as president.”

Can someone come up with the audio or video where Trump says this? Until then, it is just another bold-faced lie of the Left.

OK, that’s enough, this guy’s playing the same goddamn tune: WE HATE TRUMP.

Perhaps the Planet can find someone to give better arguments for this impeachment–if there’s anyone out there who can.

MAGA!!! Make Liberals cry again!

https://www.judicialwatch.org/press-releases/judicial-watch-statement-on-the-impeachment-of-president-donald-trump/

There has been nothing in American history that compares to the coup attack that targeted President Trump. It was an abuse of the Constitution. Frankly, the word impeachment should have been replaced with the word coup, because the president was targeted for removal from office for doing his job in asking questions about Ukraine corruption and its ties to Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden and Burisma. To be clear, the president was also attacked for objecting to the House Democrats’ abuse of his office.

The U.S. Senate should reject this act of tyranny by the House of Representatives. In the meantime, you can be sure that Judicial Watch will investigate the Biden-Ukraine scandal, as well as the Deep State scandals and the illegal spying on the president of the United States. Our republic is at stake.

More on the Coup

Pelosi Coup Update

https://www.judicialwatch.org/tom-fittons-weekly-update/pelosi-coup-update/

“And Pelosi’s game of withholding the articles of impeachment in order to deny President Trump’s justice in the Senate is another unconstitutional violation of his God-given due process rights! Incredibly, Pelosi has expanded her coup from the presidency to include the United States Senate.”

“Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), in potential violation of law, abused his power to secretly subpoena and then publish the private phone records of innocent Americans.

In response, we have filed a lawsuit against Schiff and the House Intelligence Committee for the controversial subpoenas issued for phone records, including those of Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer. The phone records led to the publication of the private phone records of Giuliani, Congressman Devon Nunes, journalist John Solomon, Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, attorney Victoria Toensing, and other American citizens.”

“Judicial Watch Back in Court on Clinton Emails and Benghazi

U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth is considering whether to allow us to question Hillary Clinton and her top aide in person and under oath about her scandalous misuse of personal email and her despicable behavior during the Benghazi slaughter. ”

“The judge told us to “shake this tree.” And we are. Just imagine if we had not been so relentless!

Merry Christmas!”

Court Tells FBI It Can’t Hide Records about FBI-Clinton Lawyer Meeting on Russia

Did Obama-Appointed Ukraine Ambassador Intervene to Help Anti-Trump Ukraine Group?

As the coup abuse against President Trump accelerates, Judicial Watch focuses on the real Ukraine collusion scandal. We just sued the State Department for documents related to a reported “untouchables list” given by former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch to Ukraine Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko in late 2016 (Judicial Watch vs. U.S. Department of State) (No. 1:19-cv-03563).

Lutsenko recently told The New York Times that Yovanovitch “pressed him not to prosecute anti-corruption activists.” Lutsenko previously reportedly said the do-not-prosecute list included a founder of the Ukraine group Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC), which was funded by George Soros foundations and the U.S. federal government, and two members of the Ukrainian Parliament who vocally supported the Soros group’s agenda:

The implied message to Ukraine’s prosecutors was clear: Don’t target AntAC in the middle of an American presidential election in which Soros was backing Hillary Clinton to succeed another Soros favorite, Barack Obama, Ukrainian officials said.

Recently, Rudy Giuliani stated that AntAC “was co-funded by the Obama administration and far-left billionaire financier George Soros,” and “was ironically under investigation for or alleged corruption, namely a ‘misplaced’ $4.4 million in U.S. funds designated to ‘fight corruption inside the former Soviet republic,’ during the 2016 presidential election in America.”

Rick Perry is Donald Trumps Secretary of Energy. He is from Texas which brags about their over 10,000 wind turbines. Curiously however, Donald Trump is against wind power. One more mind boggling policy in 2019. Please do not ask me to explain it to you because I can’t.

Nancy Pelosi cannot delay handing over the impeachment articles to the Senate in order to try to get some actual crime against President Trump and to prevent him from defending himself. This is not the America I know and this abuse of power has to be stopped. If President Trump is such a threat to the country, why isn’t she speeding up the process and why is she being allowed to continue a fishing expedition against the president because she knows her articles of impeachment are so weak?

The Democrats didn’t allow Republicans to call witnesses during their impeachment hearings. Why should the Republicans be generous and allow them their witnesses? The Democrats could have called those people you mentioned as witnesses when they had their trial if they thought they would have helped their case. Why now?

They may be 100% for Trump. If they weren’t, they certainly don’t need a trial to express their opinions. I’m sure the far left news media would be only too willing to air any dirt or bad comments they had on President Trump. The Republicans do not want witnesses picked by the Dems. That is the point. Not because they may or may not be for President Trump, but because it’s the Republicans turn to choose the witnesses. The media and many here are spinning this as “What is President Trump trying to hide by not calling these witnesses”. Sorry, but we are on to the tricks of the far left.

https://www.wnd.com/2019/12/trump-pelosi-now-caught-quid-pro-quo/

“Trump: Pelosi now caught in ‘quid pro quo’ of her own”

“For House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, much of the past year has been spent pushing a whirlwind of accusations against President Donald Trump, chiefly the executive’s alleged quid pro quo with Ukraine.

Now that the Democrats’ push to impeach Trump has backfired, it looks like their leader in the House may have her own brush with a quid pro quo accusation.”

“Nancy Pelosi is looking for a Quid Pro Quo with the Senate,” the president wrote on Twitter. “Why aren’t we Impeaching her?”

“A set of rules voted in by the Democratic-majority House gave Rep. Adam Schiff sweeping powers during his part in the process. He was able to pick and choose witnesses, effectively silencing Republicans.

What followed was a string of witnesses, most without any firsthand or personal knowledge of the phone call with Ukraine at the center of the impeachment question, that only proved how desperate Democrats are to oust Trump.”

“Even with a twisted set of rules, Democrats missed their goal of bipartisan impeachment by a country mile. Those leading the impeachment inquiry were not even able to convince all representatives in their own party to vote for it.”

“Democrats’ attempt to get rid of Trump has backfired in an ugly fashion. Now, it appears that not even Pelosi’s own “quid pro quo” can save it.”

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2019/12/23/nancy-pelosi-gives-an-update-on-withholding-a-trial-and-president-trump-fires-right-back-n2558418

“When the House passed Articles of Impeachment against former President Bill Clinton, they passed the articles to the Senate that same day, with the already announced “impeachment manager” or prosecutor in place, House Judiciary Chair Henry Hyde.

Democrats seem to be spreading the talking point that the House waited until January with the Clinton Articles, which is false, as the Washington Examiner’s Byron York points out.

There seems to be a Democratic talking point that when GOP House impeached Clinton on 12/19/98, they waited until 1/6/99 to present articles to Senate. No, they did it on same day as impeachment vote. From Donna Brazile, on Fox yesterday, and from 12/19/98 CNN report: pic.twitter.com/SbExaYRclS

— Byron York (@ByronYork) December 23, 2019”

“The Constitution says the Senate has complete control/power over the trial, so Pelosi has absolutely no standing to dictate anything. Indeed, it was the Democrats who refused to allow the Republicans to call witnesses on behalf of the president and who scrupulously ignored/glossed over exculpatory evidence that arose during the process. It was the Democrats who termed resorting to the Courts to fight the witch hunt “obstruction,” thus denying the president his basic rights. It was the Democrats who didn’t want to wait for an adjudication from the courts. Now, they’re sitting on it when before it was “urgent.”

“Given how the House denied a fair process, it’s sort of the height of gall to now pretend like they’re concerned about a fair process. What they’re concerned about if they actually transmitted the articles is that their machinations would get exposed and witnesses they couldn’t control might potentially be called. They’re concerned that Trump would actually be acquitted because the case is so ridiculous. ”

Even the Democrats’ own expert who they called during the impeachment hearings, Noah Feldman, blasted sitting on the Articles as a tactic beyond a short delay, arguing that until they were officially passed to the Senate, Trump had not been impeached. Also that if there was a continued failure to transmit them, that was not in keeping with the constitutional process and would deny Trump a fair trial. “

Didn’t Pelousey swear an oath on the bible? Something about our Constitution?

The Sixth Amendment (Amendment VI) to the United States Constitution sets forth rights related to criminal prosecutions. It was ratified in 1791 as part of the United States Bill of Rights. The Supreme Court has applied most of the protections of this amendment to the states through the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Sixth Amendment grants criminal defendants the right to a SPEEDY and PUBLIC trial.

Seems the POTUS is being denied due process……..

But the democrats regularly trample our Constitution, “It’s an outdated document written by bigoted old WHITE MEN” (James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, George Mason, George Washington, John Adams, Ben Franklin……), then hide behind it when it suits them.

Hypocrites them ALL!!!!

“Catherine Herridge Highlights More Info in the IG Report That Doesn’t Look Good For Comey and Others”

“When investigative reporter Catherine Herridge moved from Fox News to CBS, many were concerned that her great reporting and incisive investigative efforts might be stifled.

Fortunately, that doesn’t appear to be the case. …………”

“Herridge points out how Comey told President Donald Trump the “FBI didn’t know if Steele allegations true,” and “FBI not investigating them.”

“But in fact the FBI had been investigating the allegations and they had good reason to know they likely weren’t true by January 2017. So basically, if this is true, James Comey wasn’t telling the truth to the President of the United States. ”

“Who was behind the push to include it?

Herridge points to the section about Andrew McCabe asking that the dossier be included in their January 2017 ICA on Russia. Why? Because Barack Obama asked for “everything relevant” to be included. Again McCabe tried to argue for its inclusion despite it being unverified, the unreliability and the fact they had reason by then to doubt it. ”

The FBI may have shared this salacious and debunked report with a foreign government.

So they may have smeared the President of the United States to another government with false information, thus undercutting him in the world’s eyes, while at the same time not telling him the truth? And isn’t that leaking classified information? But Strzok “doesn’t recall?” Is he kidding? How many people did they share it with? Seems that’s something one should remember and/or have notes about. ”

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/12/24/report-hunter-biden-being-investigated-for-burisma-linked-money-laundering/

“The New York Post reported on Monday that a private investigator hired by Lunden Roberts, a woman suing Biden for child support in Arkansas circuit court, has declared he is the subject of multiple criminal investigations.

“One of those purported investigations relates to Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company with which Biden held a lucrative board post while his father, Joe, was vice president — drawing allegations of impropriety from Republicans including President Trump,” the Post noted.

The private investigator claims the younger Biden “established bank and financial accounts with Morgan Stanley” for a “money laundering scheme” involving Burisma Holdings Limited. According to documents filed in court, nearly $6.8 million was transferred from Burisma to the account between March 2014, when the younger Biden joined Burisma’s board of directors, and December 2015……………….”

“A Ukrainian official with strong ties to Zlochevsky admitted in October the only reason that Hunter Biden secured the appointment was to “protect” the company from foreign scrutiny. The claim has credence given that at the time, Joe Biden was tasked with leading the Obama administration’s policy towards Ukraine in response to Russia’s invasion of Crimea.

It is in the context of Burisma and Zlochevsky’s legal troubles that Joe Biden’s political influence has raised the most red flags. The former vice president has particularly drawn questions over his conduct in demanding the Ukrainian government fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, in 2016.

Joe Biden, who has publicly bragged about the firing, reportedly threatened to withhold more than one billion dollars in U.S. aid if the Ukrainian government did not remove Shokin. He has claimed the demand came from then-President Barack Obama, who had allegedly lost faith in the prosecutor’s ability to tackle corruption……………..”

Meanwhile, as the Democrats plot their next move in the coup, a pork and graft laden 1.4 TRILLION DOLLAR spending bill slips through.

It’s > 1000 pages thick, and NO ONE in Congress read it before voting on it, just like Obamacare. “we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it” – N. Pelousey.
