BIDEN-PELOSI-HARRIS TAX HIKE WILL CRUSH BUSINESS, CRIPPLE THE MIDDLE CLASS, and REWARD THE ‘GIMME GROUPS’

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY SEPT. 20, 2021) — THE PLANET finds it curious that liberals enjoy it so much when government at any level raises taxes. Conservatives love it too, but at least they have the courtesy to say they don’t. Truth is, whatever party gets in, they’re going to keep the budget and the tax rate ballooning and buffooning.

The size of government is never truly reduced. Like a demented Energizer rabbit, it just keeps growing, and growing, and growing.

The Biden-Pelosi-Harris (BPH) Capitalism-Is-Evil Tax Hikes, however, stands out in the annals as the biggest in history. The BPH swindle, designed to pay for the President’s un-president-ed $3.5 trillion social services giveaway, will take the money out of YOUR pockets, Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski. The rich dudes will either find the loopholes or if not just pass the increases along to that thing they call “the consumer.”

Oh yeah, and that “$3.5 trillion?” Actually, the final cost will be between $5 and $5.5 trillion.

Used to be we tossed “billions” around like we were haying a field in Elmsville, New Brunswick, Canada. As the stentorian Sen. Everett Dirksen, Seanate minority leader for a million years, once observed, “A billion here, a billion there. Pretty soon we’re talking real money.” Now “T” has replaced “B.”

———- ooo ———-

From labnol dot org:

For people who can visualize one million dollars, the comparison made on CNN should give you an idea about a trillion – “if you start spending a million dollars every single day since Jesus was born, you still wouldn’t have spend a trillion dollars”.

Another mathematician puts it like this: “1 million seconds is about 11.5 days, 1 billion seconds is about 32 years while a trillion seconds is equal to 32,000 years“.

Now if the above comparisons weren’t really helpful, check another illustration that compares the built of an average human being against a stack of $100 currency notes bundles.

dollar currency notes

A bundle of $100 notes is equivalent to $10,000 and that can easily fit in your pocket. 1 million dollars will probably fit inside a standard shopping bag while a billion dollars would occupy a small room of your house.

With this background in mind, 1 trillion (1,000,000,000,000) is 1000 times bigger than 1 billion and would therefore take up an entire football field – the man is still standing in the bottom-left corner.

trillion dollars

———- ooo ———-

The BPH proposal is nothing less than a raid on business and a slaughter of investors — you know, the very people who generate the most wealth for the economy. This will irreparably harm the vanishing middle class. Once again, while the Democrats buy votes among the bottom feeders, the Kapanskis get killed.

In turn, it represents a specious assault on good-ol’ greedy American capitalism — in favor of good ol’ even-greedier “cradle-to-grave/womb-to-tomb” U.S. socialism. In addition to crippling business, the economy, and the GDP, the Biden-Pelosi tax hike will penalize entrepreneurship, act as a disincentive for “gimme groups” to get off their lazy butts, and place the national debt in orbit lock box at a time when we’re already perilously close to the debt ceiling. Of course, even that’s no problem. Washington will simply raise the ceiling again.

Not only does the tax hike penalize the cost of striving for prosperity, it rewards economic infantilization. Why bother to try getting ahead when Big Government will feed, shelter, and clothe you for the rest of your life?

———- ooo ———-

Syracuse Joe called the tax proposal “an inflection point,” whatever the heck that means.

Under the plan, the corporate tax rate jumps to 26.5%, up from 21%. Similar crushing hikes will also hit capital gains, what investors make from taking a risk with their own money, and other investment income. This further penalizes those who try to secure their own economic futures rather than holding out their cup for a ladle of Big Government gruel.

THE PLANET can’t even get into the incalculable costs to human self-worth and self-respect caused by this unprecedented expansion of the “social services safety net,” history’s greatest disincentive to try to improve one’s lot by one’s own wits and work.

The marginal tax rate will rise to almost 40%, but most sobering of all, it’s not as much as Nancy Pelosi and VP Kamala Harris wanted. THE PLANET‘s not saying Biden was nagged into his actions, but a man will sometimes do anything to avoid those shrill trumpets of badgering belligerence.

And wait till you see what effect this crippling measure will have on China. The globe’s best practitioner of refined capitalism will cement its standing as the new world superpower. Which reminds THE PLANET to begin brushing up on our Mandarin.

Ah, a trillion here, a trillion there …

“I’m a hard-working, bread-baking … delivery guy who happens to be immensely successful” — Jimmy John’s founder Jim Liautaud discussing plans to relocate his company after the tax hike because he is sick of being “pummeled” by government.

“OPEN THE WINDOW, AUNT MILLIE.”

LOVE TO ALL.

What is a reasonable tax rate? Zero inheritance tax, zero capital gain tax, 3 percent state tax, 5 percent fed tax, 2 percent for Medicare, and 12 percent social, security with a doubling of benefits, and double gas tax to pay for roads and bridges.

Eliminate all food stamp cards, free lunches at school, free heat, free or subsidized apartments, free cell phones, free internet, free cable, free cars, free cash, and free medical and dental for the free loaders. Did I forget any freebies?

The U.S. economy works for two main groups of people. The first are those who have a vested interest in Wall Street, or the billionaires and multimillionaires. The second is the underclass, who benefit from government social safety net programs. Both Wall Street and the Swamp play financial shell games that keep each other in power, while the rest of us try to survive with a few dollars and few morsels of food. President Joe Biden is on a federal government spending binge of many trillions of dollars printed out of thin air. I always wonder where the vast amount of government money really goes to because it never seems to help the people who need it the most. Lastly, I find it humorous that Ed Markey promised to save the world from global warming, while Elizabeth Warren promised to fight for Main Street because the Swamp is full of hot air and Wall Street is still getting all of the financial gains in 2021.

The dilemma Jon, is that those stuck in the social service net don’t want to work because if they do take a real job they risk losing all their free state/federal bennies. Most of the people begging for money at intersections know that cash under the table won’t affect their freebies. Supplemental income.

Should the top 50 money making companies in America pay ZERO taxes? Is the middle class carrying the country on their backs while billionaires taking advantage of loopholes snicker at them?

The rich already pay massive amounts of taxes. If Chucky, Biden, and Nance’s ridiculously high spending bills pass, the middle class, or what’s left of it, will end up paying for most of it. That means their way of life will be more like that of a third world country. The teachers will keep getting their massive raises to pay for the huge tax hikes because they are the enablers of these far left fanatics. The middle class will be told they are making their sacrifices in lifestyle all in the name of climate change.

When you tax a business they roll the cost of the taxes into the price of the product so it is the consumer who still pays the businesses tax bill. Every expense a business has is rolled into the price of their product, people need to start
understanding that.

This is the problem when simpletons try to figure things out. The large corporations are all international so they will base their profits out of the country that is cheapest. The tax for any corporation always come down to their product or service so the little guy will pay for it. The rich hire accountants and lawyers to hide their wealth so they will not pay higher taxes. Coming out of a pandemic you need to jumpstart the economy not tamper it. Commerce will just slow down so the taxes garnered will end up being the same or less and the economy will stay stuck with little growth.

I know people who own an eating establishment in the area. They do really well. They said this summer they made the most money in 20 years of owning their business. They travel to exotic locations every winter and own more than one home.

They have also taken every tax break that they can and scrounge ever Yuki dollar going from the democrats to the rich business owners who cry poor.

YET – they can’t keep any staff? Why so? Maybe they pay minimum wage, maybe they are rude? Maybe the job isn’t enough money to run a car or enough hours to get to it – they prob limit to under 20 hours so they don’t have to offer healthcare.

YET – they resent the federal unemployment benefits and use their influence to get Smitty to try and force workers back to work.

Good Democrats like we have in MA rip off workers and are the biggest beneficiaries off Biden dollars. (See every season the winers in south county.)

I also have a republican business owner friend in NYS – he has no staff issues and his guys have worked for him for years as he pays workers comp and health insurance. He never hits the Biden bucks pot. He doesn’t own a second house.

The businesses in Berkshire Co are the same as the hyperbole food stamp abusing welfare mama in a Caddy. Except maybe here they drive Lincolns.

Smitty, Fatso and Crome Dome are not down with the workers but they are for free money for themselves and their friends. They are for providing options to let their friends avoid paying for the health insurance mandates they wont let MA use.

Move to Berkshire Co and you don’t just pay for the DAs car, your pay for her barmaid’s car, the movie theater owner’s, and all the middlemen lawyer’s boats and second homes.

The far leftist mantra of…

“Businesses refuse to pay their workers enough to pay the bills?

Employees paying their bills should not be made a concern for any business. There are as many lifestyles and choices in managing money as there are employees. The business does not exist as a jobs program. Nor does it exist to provide a wage the employer can’t afford to pay. It exists to make a profit and stay in business.
Before many settled into a career, they usually held many different jobs, from stacking hay bales to working for a moving furniture etc.. The odd thing? Not one of those employers ever snatched anyone off the street and made them take their salary at gunpoint. They told them how much it paid and they had to decide if it was enough or not. The business isn’t responsible for an employee income level. The employees are.If they don’t like what they are being paid, there are lots of other jobs and lots of avenues for self improvement to
increase employee value.

Corporations have a multitude of ways of avoiding tax increases. And, they will use them And, of course one of those methods is to pass the additional costs on to the consumer. So, as usual who will actually PAY for these increases if passed? Why, of course WE consumers will. And, The Left KNOWS that. This is just another way for The Left to make it appear that they are taxing the wealthy, etc., in order to mollify we “common folk”. They think we don’t

If you remember towards the end of the last presidential debate, Trump looked into the camera and said, “Their coming for you, not me.”

From the immortal words of Keith Jackson, “Whoa Nellie.”

And on the local front, the CC will rubber stamp another waste of tax-payer money, in the Department of Equity and Inclusion (DEI). I still think the odds on favor is Helen Moon. From what I hear, her RN skills match her charming and endearing personality, plus, she has the goods on Wrong Way. That’s a black-eye for “Progressives,” like Healey and Farley-Country-Buffet (D). Easier to keep a simpleton like Helen quiet with a do-nothing job. Something she didn’t seem to do very well at originally? But this is Pittsfield after all.

How about this as a catch phrase, stealing a bit from Frank’s Red Hot sauce:

Pittsfield, it might look like sh*t, but it’s vibrant, dynamic and inclusive.

It’s too easy making money in Berkshire County with the current DA and her flunkies. Dohoney aka Doh Boy has basically paid off my boat with his lack of criminal law. He should have stayed in contracts and procurement.
The current state of the DA’s office makes being a defense lawyer a goldmine.
I liken it to going to the fair and spinning one of those prize wheels. Depending on the day you win or lose, but the best part is you get unlimited free spins.
My most recent example, Dohoney is going to be lead on a case, we go back and forth about a dozen times, all billable hours, he’s looking for 2-5 on an assault, drugs found, weapons found.
Finally they are starting to schedule cases.
I ask him if he REALLY wants to go to court on this, during a new Covid spike, does he really want to spend two weeks in court. BINGO, 6 months, CWOF, with drug treatment paid for by the state.
Client, clients parents, think I’m a genius, I made $23K, and Dohoney is just too afraid to go to court.
End of the day we are ALL making tons of money, it’s the easiest work in decades. If you’re even a half assed defense attorney, you can beat these buffoons, you can beat them on procedure, you can beat them in filings, you can beat them because not a one of them has the experience to really litigate. Best of all they have no one guiding them. These new ADAs are screwed because wrong way has no idea what she’s doing and Dahoney is really just a glorified purchasing agent.
Somebody like Judy would be stupid to step in because she’s making money, she’ll retire, and she’ll win every case.
When you’ve got a good thing going, you don’t mess it up. Harrington and her crew, best thing that’s happened to the criminal defense industry in probably the entire history of Berkshire County.

The Berkshire DA’s office is the smallest in the commonwealth. So it’s always been very important that the DA and top staff try cases. In other offices, there is the luxury of having dozens of experienced criminal trial attorneys to turn to. Harrington decimated the office of experienced prosecutors because they didn’t line up with her politics. That put those with experience on the other side. She let all the best people go free agency and replaced them with a group that it would be generous to call “journeymen.” A trade worthy of the old Red Sox? I’m sure Harrington would like to say this was part of a ruthless scorched earth policy aimed at making prosecution of crimes impossible in the name of “criminal justice.” But you know, she can’t even renew her license, read traffic signs or pay her taxes so…

Our economy is currently being managed into decline by the far left. They are purposely doing this to remove us from the world stage as major players to allow the communist totalitarian countries to take over and their globalist friends to create one world government. If you think they don’t care about you now, wait until their goal of one world government becomes reality. The are also managing our world image to make us look like buffoons so that nobody will look up to the United States for that dreaded word “freedom” ever again because the new world leaders will make sure NOBODY has freedom.

Speaking of communists. Which recent president invited a high level communist KGB agent into the Oval Office? Right again. It was the guy who avoided military service during wartime, does not pay taxes and fomented an insurrection in an attempt to over throw democracy in his own country. What was his name again?

He might want to open up a satellite shop on Tyler street. There is an ice cream cone place there that used to have long lines every time I went by. Last three years there is usually nobody at the window. Two or three people once in a while. There are probably a thousand kids in that extended neighborhood and all kids love ice cream but something is keeping them from venturing out and it ain’t murder hornets.
Any idea what it could be? Love to hear from the local residents.

Almost 700,000 covid deaths in America so far Madman. More than the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. And we are just getting started.
Personally, I think you did get the shot like many other Trumpsters and are too embarrassed to admit it. But, if not, the clock is ticking for you and you may find out you are as invincible as you think.

Ha Ha!!!! If you’ve got the jab you’ll get worse case of covid than the unjabbed, and get to be a “super spreader”, who sheds >10X more viral particles, usually variants.

I had a sinus/mild head cold 3/20, no sickness at all since. I suspect I have 13X more stronger/longer natural immunity than You. And I won’t have lifelong complications of the jab.

Vaccine deaths now approach covid deaths, 70/day for the jab (Aug 2021 – CDC).

Most of the people who died were murdered. As the CDC/FDA/Falsey prevented effective, readily available, and inexpensive treatments.

Cuomo should be hung for murdering thousands of elderly. Only people at risk, are elderly or those with co-morbidity, 99% of rest infected fully recover. Mario put the infected in nursing homes. SOB thought he could literally get away with murder by resigning for JUST BEING A D-PERVERT!

Cuomo should be hung for murdering thousands of elderly.

POTUS Trump was correct on chloroquin and ivermectrin in combination with vitamins and zinc. Results in India prove it with a outbreak in 200 million people stopped; 97% reduction. Meanwhile MOST jabbed states here, have MOST new cases (Sept 2021). ALL these medications have little to no side effects, and have been prescribed > 40 years.

Project Veritas has a series of daming exposes coming out this week , stay tuned, or just keep your noggin in the sand.

And Fizze, 1918 Spanish flu deaths are ~ equal to current covid deaths, but in 1918 USA had a MUCH smaller population.

Did ya think……about that?

There is evidence the jab causes dementia………that is induces prion formation. Peer reviewed published study.

The jab is still “emergency” approval. I’m glad you’re the guinea pig , not me…………

The Biden administration is up to no good with the monoclonal antibodies by trying to limit them in certain states by calling it “equity” which is a nonsense term for “we have enough antibodies, but Biden decides who lives and dies”. They are trying to make this about the vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated despite the fact that fully vaccinated people are in need of the antibodies. Just like they have Americans sniping at each other over the vaccines while the illegal immigrants wander the country with no mandate to be vaccinated, but that’s okay. Americans are being played for fools by the Biden administration.

Boston elected a DA who campaigned on a promise to not prosecute Drug possession and Drug possession with intent to distribute. Well, now you have the snowball effect of drug addicts seeking treatment, followed by drug dealers targeting addicts, and more drug addicts moving in to find the dealers. This is an elections have consequences situation. Boston elected Rollins, Boston made a choice, this is Boston’s problem. Guess who is next?

Why is mostly rural and economically distressed Western Massachusetts represented by K Street’s favorite PAC Man Richie Rich Neal? It boggles my mind how PAC Man Richie Neal gets away with writing tax laws in the U.S. House of Representative that are totally disconnected with the people and small businesses in his large geographical legislative district. PAC Man Richie Neal is a total Corporate Democrat who has been in the Swamp since 1989 – or for the past nearly 32 years and counting. He is the Chairman of the powerful U.S. House Ways and Means Committee. He does the bidding of K Street’s big money corporate lobbyists on Capitol Hill. The news article, below, shows his latest public financial tax hiking schemes that favor the richest Americans and biggest corporations. PAC Man Richie Neal sold his soul to the Devil!

Jonathan A. Melle

——

“House Democrats Are Too Chicken To Boost Billionaires’ Taxes, Says Robert Reich – Billionaires pretty much get a pass in the tax-hike proposal, even though their wealth has increased 62% in the pandemic, wrote the former U.S. labor secretary.”
By Mary Papenfuss, HuffPost.com – September 20, 2021

When House Democrats last week unveiled their tax-hike plan to pay for President Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending bill, a surprise group went largely unscathed: billionaires.

“You might have thought Democrats would be eager to tax America’s 660 billionaires whose fortunes have increased by $1.8 trillion since the start of the pandemic,” wrote Robert Reich, an author and columnist who was U.S. labor secretary in the Obama administration. That amount alone “could fund half of Biden’s plan — and still leave the billionaires as rich as they were before the pandemic began,” Reich wrote in The Guardian on Sunday.

Senior House Democrats instead decided to raise revenue the “traditional” way — taxing annual income, “rather than giant wealth,” Reich explained.

Democrats also could have targeted America’s biggest corporations — “awash in cash but paying a pittance in taxes,” Reich wrote. Among S&P 500 or Fortune 500 corporations, 39 paid absolutely “no federal income tax from 2018 to 2020. Yet they reported a combined $122 billion in profits to their shareholders,” Reich noted.

Yet “remarkably,” the Democrats decided to set corporate tax rates “below the level they were at when Barack Obama was in the White House,” wrote Reich.

So what gives?

Democrats don’t want to mess with wealth because they’re controlled by wealth, Reich wrote. Many of them rely on that wealth to finance their election, he explained. “They also dread becoming targets of well-financed ad campaigns accusing them of voting for ‘job-killing’ taxes.”

Republicans “sold their souls to the moneyed interests long ago, but the timidity of House Democrats shows just how loudly big money speaks these days even in the party of Franklin D Roosevelt,” Reich wrote.

“The looming debate over taxes is really a debate over the allocation of wealth and power,” and that issue is only going to become more pressing and more critical, warned Reich.

“Behind it will be this simple but important question: Which party represents average working people, and which shills for the rich?”

THIS is why politicians expend so much energy, creating false narratives, to keep us arguing over who has the taxpayers backs. As long as we are arguing amongst ourselves over what party is better, we can not stand in Unity against them. Choosing a candidate that has the same ideas that people have on the issues, rather than based n certain party might help.
