IN THE CROSSHAIRS OF WOKE PROSECUTION: REVERSE RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL IN AMERICA

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY MAY 15, 2023) — Daniel Penny found out the hard way that to be a hero in any woke city puts you in the crosshairs of prosecution.

Riding on the F Train in Manhattan recently, Penny subdued a career criminal threatening to kill everyone on board. The thug died from Penny’s chokehold, meaning he won’t be threatening or assaulting anyone soon.

However, the “victim” (Jordan Neely) is black and Penny is white.

Does THE PLANET have to draw you a map?

NYC’s racist district attorney, Alvin Bragg, has decided to prosecute Penny. To learn more of the nuance in this captivity story, read this from Andrew McCarthy of The National Review:

Daniel Penny is now attending college after serving our country as a Marine for five years. He was protecting himself and passengers on the F train when he subdued Jordan Neely. He was put in that position by Neely, a predatory, mentally unstable career criminal with over 40 arrests to his name, who was fresh off a stretch in Rikers Island for punching an old woman in the face, breaking her nose and eye socket, and who habitually harassed and threatened subway riders.

A reasonable prosecutor would conclude that, though Neely’s death (like his life) was tragic, a jury of Manhattan subway riders would probably not convict Penny of manslaughter. Such a jury would instead draw the rational conclusion that government prosecutors were trying to make Penny a scapegoat for the government’s own reckless failure to detain and treat Neely, and that things could have been even worse for innocent people had Penny not acted.

But Alvin Bragg is not a reasonable, law-enforcement-oriented prosecutor. He is an elected Democrat who was put in his position by race-obsessed progressives in order to put the DA’s powers in the service of their “social justice” delusions. In that context, the question of whether to charge Penny is a partisan political one, not a matter of balancing prosecution against other public interests, and not a matter of whether a prosecution in these circumstances would endanger New Yorkers rather than making them safer.

For the progressive-prosecutor project, the only fact that matters is racial disparity: Neely was black and Penny is white, so Penny must be charged. Whether there is a worthy case that would result in a jury’s reaching a guilty verdict is beside the point. As was the case in his unabashedly politicized prosecution of Donald Trump, Bragg will be lauded for putting his power in the service of the progressive agenda by charging Penny. Because the charges are purely political, the DA needn’t even worry about looking bad if there is an acquittal.

This is social justice, not real justice. This is also the governance that Manhattanites have chosen — at least the few who took the trouble to vote in a one-party town where self-destruction is the only choice on the ballot.

It’s the same government we have in Massachusetts and Pittsfield. Woke. Bespoke. Broke.

A Penny for your thoughts: What do you think Bragg would have done if Neely was white and Penny black? Maybe THE PLANET should ask Shirley Edgerton or the Dews.

The silver lining here is that fed up Americans have raised $1.5 million for Penny’s defense. The vet majority of good folks are fed up with the weaponization of “justice” by the Loon Left. Who knows? Maybe Daniel Penny will become the George Floyd of the sane.

———- ooo ———-

A Letter Day is Blumin

THE PLANET would like to share a letter Pittsfield citizen and landlord Alex Blumin sent to the Pittsfield mayor and council:

Thank you so much, Honorable Mayor Linda M. Tyer and leaders of City Council for giving $700,000.00 city’s money to Berkshire Black Economic Development, so only Black people can apply for business loans. I went there and asked for a business loan about 3 weeks ago. Executive Director, A.J. Enchill very politely asked me: ” What is your race and ethnicity?” I replied: ” All People Are Equal!” He asked: ” In that case, please leave my Office!”
If I asked a such question for any prospective tenant, a civil rights lawsuit would be filed against me immediately by community legal aid attorney Paul Schack. A landlord, shop owner, or manager cannot ask a such question for any customer in any business establishment as under the law, all people are equal. A municipality cannot fund organizations that engage in racial profiling, as it violates Federal Statute for Equality and the U.S. Constitution. The Berkshire Black Economic Development organization, nonetheless, is allowed to engage in racist policies.

What you discovered, Alex, is the true meaning of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE) with sham fronts such as the BBED.

Diversity = Sameness. Focus on skin color as the delimiter.

Inclusion = Exclusion. If you differ from our dogmas, we don’t want you.

Equity = Injustice. We will practice favoritism based on color and gender.

Call it what you will, but we aren’t in America any longer.

—————————————————————————–

“As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate, action: you liberate a city by destroying it. Words are to confuse, so that at election time people will solemnly vote against their own interests”Gore Vidal.

“OPEN THE WINDOW, AUNT MILLIE.”

LOVE TO ALL.

Here’s another one. BLM thug was aiming a rifle at Perry.

Daniel Perry reacts after being sentenced to 25 years for the murder of Garrett Foster at the Blackwell-Thurman Criminal Justice Center in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday May 10, 2023. Perry was convicted of murder in April for killing Foster during a Black Lives Matter protest in July 2020. (Jay Janner, Austin American-Statesman via AP, Pool)

Dan,you can’t excuse a 15 minute choke hold of a subdued threat by saying NY is woke.Trump followers have a tough time figuring this out.Would any fool want their son put in a 15 minute choke hold.I do know that saying woke excuses people on the right to do things unimaginable just a generation ago.Why don’t you try a choke hold for 1 minute and see that it is an eternity.

TSC as usual you miss the point due to your hatred of common sense. Personally the family failed this person and then the progressive city. This person unfortunately had decades of behaviors where no one stepped in until he was a threat to the community. No one on this board was on that train and witnessed what was happening that caused another human taking another humans life. I call this a tragic event that one would wish didn’t happen but was he saving anothers life? Did the person performing the choke hold have a PTSD moment from his military career? We don’t know. Hopefully society as a whole can learn from this and become a calmer less toxic place to live.

TSC, Durham report is out.

There should be over a dozen high level/ranking leftists charged with treason for their Russia hoax. But Merck Garland is AG, and Joe Biden Sotero and the H-Beast are implicated.

Link to full report:

More:

“The Durham Report has come out now and it’s confirmed what we’ve known for a long time: that the Russia collusion investigation was a massive hoax, based on nothing. It should be shocking that the FBI proceeded with this investigation when there was no evidence, for years, which then had the effect of smearing Donald Trump for years. Meanwhile, the Durham Report also showed that the Obama/Biden team was fully aware of the Clinton plan to smear Trump.”

Brandon Johnson will also be sworn in today as far left mayor of Chicago. Another George Soros backed politician who will let criminals run wild. These people are put in office to let crime get out of control for their political agenda. Johnson was largely put in office by school personnel because most people interviewed in Chicago don’t like him and said they don’t know anyone who voted for him. Alvin Bragg is using Penny to advance the political agenda in New York and this will discourage people from stepping in to help anyone in such a dangerous situation. I’ve seen plenty of crimes being committed on the news with men just standing there and watching it happen.

Alex Blumin for mayor!
He has more common sense and a better understanding of the law than our current mayor and the majority of city councilors (Kronick & Kalinowsky are the exceptions).
The Black Economic Council should be sued for blatant discriminatory policies and the $700,000 refunded to the city.

Daniel Penny is a hero and I hope with the nearly 2 million in Gofundme that he can successfully fight this injustice!

It is true that reverse discrimination exists, and that it is due to affirmative action and other policies – formal and informal – that are intended to make up for the racial injustice and deep-rooted racial enmity that exists in our country. But what else can we do? If white supremacy didn’t exist and there was no hiring and lending bias against people of color, then there would be no need to make up for the bias against people of color. What is a society to do?

As an old white male I’ve been swimming upstream against a stacked deck since my military discharge. It is quite frustrating, but I chalk it up to trying to move us forward as a civilized society.

Bias is a product of human nature combined with experience (some learned, some taught) – a flaw that cannot be abolished any more than any other dirty thought.

Laws and penalties have yet to eliminate corruption, theft, and other crimes. What is at root is that government be restricted in its ability to aggregate the people’s wealth which currently is depressing the equity of all people who are not directly connected to the flow of money (financial executives.) You will find, wannabe, plenty of diversity at the top of the financial food chain.

Martin Luther King Jr. His dream was of equal opportunity, not power.

DEI originates from Marxism* – a swapping of secular sophistry for religious theology – based upon the premise that civilizations grow from the internal conflict and demand for ‘transformation.’ What this premise really invokes is aggression and exertion of power.

When Americans collectively agree to accept this struggle as a real populist struggle that is inevitable, we will have become a Marxist state. Social Justice for all, classical justice for none.

Unfortunately, the educational institutions, public, charter, and private are now all converted to the Marxist theology and the colleges have become largely their finishing grounds.

*Marxism is strictly a brand mark. The self-proclaim Marxists never actually cite an authentic Marxist theory, but their theology alludes to a state of transformation and stress within an anthropomorphic concept of civilization, eg. a pupa transforming into a beetle. This is an authentic Marxist concept.

but there is also supremacy within white society. Categories include mobs, cartels, people of high society, political power types. Somewhere in the whole equation, Human Nature needs to be factored in. There is strong evidence that there is a DNA factor for the “asshole” gene and it seems to be in every ethnic grouping.

and humans have been treating each other like crap since man first walked the earth and will continue to do so till the last one does. And anyone who thinks they are going to make everyone a nice person is delusional.

Where to start!

It takes an average of 9 seconds to render an opponent unconscious with a chokehold, and if you’ve never seen it, trust me, you don’t want to.

Homeless and mentally ill Jordan Neely was on the “top 50” roster of homeless people considered to be most URGENTLY in need of help.

Jordan Neely’s mother was murdered by his stepfather, which allegedly triggered his severe depression, and PTSD, probably, but not society’s fault, or problem, yet. Then Jordan Neely bounced between homes, including his loving grandparents/Family, before ending up in the foster care system, again, not society’s fault. After failing every basic need of a damaged child, at age 21 Child Protective Services unleashed a deranged Neely into society. If you look at PTSD symptoms and diagnoses, you’ll see a rate in children in foster care that’s similar to combat veterans.

After Jordan Neely severely injured a 67-year-old woman, a judge released him in February, as part of a plea deal requiring him to stay at an intensive inpatient treatment center for 15 months, but he walked out 13 days later. So, I guess society can thank the lawyer responsible for the persuasive argument that keep Neely from being locked up in prison cage and the judge who went along with that plea deal for the homeless mentally deranged hungry and thirsty offender.

To be continued…

Up until the 80’s there were homes for the mentally ill, now they are released into society with the hope that they take their meds and don’t hurt someone. Society wouldn’t think of letting a dementia patient roam free without supervision yet people with equally debilitating and dangerous conditions are doing just that.

State run cesspools were not homes for the mentally ill. I think you can watch the documentary film Titicut Follies on the internet. And I would suggest that you watch it. State institutions for the mentally ill were far from humane. Filthy, barbaric, degrading and humiliating would more actually describe these institutions for the feeble minded.

But sending these people, who are profoundly ill, to aged parents or to no one at all to fend for them was less humane than institutional reform.

I am going to submit a petition to the CC that states that one hour of time be set aside at the beginning of each CC meeting for people who speak in the public session. Example: if 10 people sign up to speak each will get to speak for 6 minutes if need be
Example 2: If 5 people sign up to speak, each will be given 12 minutes to speak if need be.This is the fairest way to alot the time needed for people to speak in the public session. After all the most important people speaking at a CC meeting is the citizens who pay all the city’s bills

I just clicked on the Berkshire Black Economic Council (BBEC) to see what trainings and seminars that my $700,000 tax money are paying for. Guess what? They are offering $7500-$25,0000 awards to “Vibe Up North Street.”

There are no trainings or seminars set up with expert speakers in the business industry. It’s just the usual cast of characters and their “consulting fees.” All this for $700,000.

Alex Blumin found out that white people are ineligible to win and help with the vibing process. He has the wrong vibe.

I think the Cultural Competency Coach should be awarded the $25,000 prize and start and African travel agency on North Street. After all, she does have firsthand knowledge of fraudulently spending taxpayer money on vacations……I mean of visiting Africa and the adventures that await the traveler.

I also think Warren Dews should be awarded the same amount, $25,000. Perhaps then he will be able to finally finish and open his cigar bar/barber shop from 2019.

And finally, Harmony “Hit and Run” Persip, should also be awarded the $25,000 to open a weed bar. It might not quite be the relaxing weed spa in south county, but nothing says “vibing North Street,” like loud rap music, gun play, and the smell of burning marijuana, or “blunts,” as the vibe crowd calls it. Plus, when the Dumpster makes it to North Street, he will “see people like me.”

This way the money never really leaves the BBEC. It’s just a fancier way of laundering it, so YT won’t get suspicious.

Story in the local paper about how GT Barrington has collected 6 million bucks in “impact fees” from the marijuana stores. I wunner if they will do a story about how much the Pittsfield treasurer took in and what is it being used for. Apparently not to offset taxes.
But I am sure Pete the banker is making sure everything is on the up and up and it is being used wisely. Let’s ask him.

Was another story about a guy who stole $230,000 from a charity and spent it at Mass. casinos. These kinds of things seem to happen often but if ya ain’t looking ya ain’t gonna find it. And in Pittsfield we trust everybody so nobody be double checking nuttin.

There used to be a time that if you broke the eye socket of a person over the age of 60, including a 67-year-old grandmother, this would have resulted in a Felony Aggravated Assault on an Elderly Person charge punishable by up to 15 years in prison with a $10,000 fine. But instead, this deranged negro agreed to a plea deal that allowed him to just walk away from a court ordered inpatient treatment center for the criminally deranged just 13 days after being admitted. But right here, in Pittsfield, a violent junkie crackwhore crime wave is on the loose. Included in her long record of theft, destruction, mayhem and violence is that she snatched the purse of an elderly woman in a parking lot and stabbed a 17-year-old girl who came to the aid of the elderly woman and attempted to stab another good Samaritan. And the cops know her well, I’d even say in the biblical sense.

On the subject of cops, wasn’t it Ron who reminisced about the marble lobby at the Pittsfield Police Station.

Just don’t say that Mayor Linda Tyer’s 3rd husband shouldn’t have been anywhere near ballots in City Hall during the 2019 election that his 2nd wife, Linda Tyer, won or else Barry Clairmont will sue you four years later for allegedly harming his reputation and thereby cutting into his CPA firm’s profit margins without any proof of financial losses. Otherwise, go right ahead and knockout a grandmother or two, shoot up the inner-city streets of Pittsfield and beyond, say your only priority in Boston is to legalize “Happy Endings”, stink up residential neighborhoods with a corrupt Pot growing Kingdom on Dalton Avenue, secretly spend over $41 million in “Biden Bucks” and then propose a record high $205.6 million fy2024 municipal budget, and when someone sarcastically calls Affirmative Action policies “DIE”, call everyone a racist or a Marxist or a psycho….

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to write that most of the Founding Fathers owned Slaves, Abe Lincoln wanted to forcibly deport all black people from the U.S.A. after the end of the Civil War, as well as signed off on the executions of many Native Americans in the Minnesota Territory, racist and anti-Semitic eugenics, immigration and Jim Crow laws were the law of the land 100 years ago, FDR refused to sign a federal law outlawing the lynching of black people, the federal government continues to spend trillions of dollars on the military industrial complex that has killed millions upon millions of innocent people around the world since the end of WW2, the Pentagon is the single biggest polluter of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, and the only two real kinds of economic growth in the 21st Century are the huge underclass population and the powerful and wealthy financial, corporate and ruling elites who have turned the rigged system into their exclusive Country Club on their elitist Yacht, while the rest of us have to pay for 40-year high U.S. inflation and are looking at a predicted recession later this year of 2023 into 2024.

Eric Adams, mayor of NYC, is just as bad. He is now housing migrants in NYC public elementary school gyms. How long do you think it will be until, God forbid, an incident happens there? The large majority of migrants are single adult males, backgrounds unknown, now exposed to children –
Utterly despicable what the Democrats have done to NYC!

Did you forget that Biden is being accused of sexual assault along with all of his other corruption? I’m sure you didn’t forget.

Pat,
He didn’t forget!
If DeSantis became the nominee, or any other repub, the marxist dem ravings from the democrats and the people like TSC & JM etc.. would still be identical, they all would just change the name of the repub target, and identify the nominee as the next Literally Hitler, etc….
The target of democrat marxists was never really just Trump, or maga. It was always Reaganite conservatism, and the entire gop. party. After all, Trump did not invent Maga anyway, Reagan did. Trump just invented the acronym and the hat.
And conservatives must never let this become a fight just about Trump vs the rest of the repub party, like both the marxist dems, and some of Trumps repub party hating alt right loons, or some rinos, want to happen. It must always stay a fight between a united conservative party vs the marxist dems.

All the suburban women who believed the Trump Russia collusion hoax baloney are the stupid ones, but if they take another hit of skunk pot they will forget all about it I’m sure. Americans know what the far left is doing including those in the school unions and all the activist teachers who are trying to destroy the children of this country. Trump wasn’t accused of rape and you know it. This woman just lied for her uppity suburban women friends who think they are so superior because they dislike Trump so much. They really just look like fools now.

You can’t truly believe that if Neely was a deranged white man and Penny was the black man hero and Black Penny held White Neely in a 15 minute chokehold resulting in death, there would be no charges. Do you really think that would have played out as such?

…But the town, through its committee that decides how to spend the impact money, has already given away a total of $885,000, and will distribute another $500,000 in impact fees this year. That includes money to schools and nonprofits that provide substance-use disorder counseling services and those that educate teens. But it also has included nonprofits that, however worthy of donations, appear to have a shaky connection at best with problems caused by pot stores. Those include the conversion of an historic Black church into a center for African American culture as well as to the housing nonprofit Construct Inc.***

Brittney Polito is about as neutral as Andy Mckeever was. I notice she spends ample time pointing out (see attacking) Charles’ stance on certain issues. Stances that she clearly disagrees with. Yet, most of the other candidates are maybe given more than a blurb and there aren’t many details other than basic facts and their names. Might as well have Josh Landes write it.
