GOVERNOR, STATEHOUSE ‘STORMIES’ FOLLOW BIDEN’S LEAD IN DESTROYING BAY STATE’s CITIES AND TOWN; MAYPO IS DOING THE SAME IN BITCHFIELD

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY MARCH 18, 2024) — Last week, Boston Herald veteran columnist Peter Lucas wrote a story detailing how Gov. Maura Healey was punishing the Town of Milton (pop. 28,000) for not obeying a state directive to change its zoning to accommodate more “affordable housing.”

You can trace the directive  back to a law passed in 2021 by the the State Legislature and signed by  Gov. Charlie Baker. That itself was the effect of Joe Biden’s disastrous decision, his first as president, to open America’s southern borders, the ones that Donald Trump secured.

Milton put the matter to a referendum, and taxpayers voted against the draconian measure, 5,115 to 4,346. It mattered not to statehouse totalitarians, aka Democrats, to take action.

State Sen. Lydia Edwards, chair of the Senate Housing Committee, said “The state has to crush Milton.”

That’s what it’s doing. First, Healey ordered state funding cut off from the town. Second, State AG Andrea Campbell launched a lawsuit against Milton. So much for local rule. So much for the sanctity of the vote. So much for “democracy.”

———- ooo ———-

At least Milton allowed locals to have a vote, not that it mattered to the Boston stormtroopers. The situation perfectly illustrates why The Vote scares to death the “stormies” in Bay State cities and towns, officials who trash and devalue its citizens. Spineless local officials succumb to state dictates from state dictators.

Mayor Markey Maypo, seen in one of his petulant fits.

Yes, Bitchfield, THE PLANET‘s talking about you. Do you think for one second Mayor Markey Maypo and his 11 adoring disciples on the city council would EVER allow a citizen vote on, ahem, “affordable housing.” We clear our throats and put the phrase in quotation marks because for taxpayers, such housing isn’t “affordable.” They will be stuck with the tab.

Never has “affordable housing” been so urgent. That’s the trickle-down effect of Biden’s dissolution of the border dissolution. In Bitchfield, Maypo and the council have been quiet, too quiet, about the current situation of illegals in the city. The anecdotal evidence, however, tells THE PLANET and others we talk to, including store managers and clerks, that the illegals are showing up in greater numbers, demanding their “freebies.”

When they arrive in Bitchfield (and elsewhere) without a valid passport — among them criminals, rapists, thieves, gangs, and murderers — here’s what the Commonwealth gives them, for “free” …

  • A loaded EBT card.
  • housing
  • $64 per day per person meal money
  • laptops, tablets
  • smart phones
  • transportation
  • laundry (picked up in the morning, delivered by 5 p.m. same day.

———- ooo ———-

Women often show up with children, and if they’re not pregnant when they arrive here, they will be soon thereafter to give birth to little “Americans” who will not be expected to assimilate and therefore will not.

Of course, this will pose no problem whatsoever for Bitchfield’s failing schools. What problems could these unwashed rug rats possibly cause? They can’t speak English, they usually come from households where neglect and abuse are rampant.

That’s okay with Jumping’ Joe Curtis. It’s a form of job security, the extension of the crutch he’s been using since the nationwide search that led to his hiring. How can THE PLANET, parents, or anyone else expect the superintendent and his administration to be effective when three of every four students is either from an impoverished household and/or illegal and on the take. Joe’s crutch has been extended so long by the school committee he’s practically on stilts.

The situation is so dire that it has no answer or solution, at least not as long as ruinous Woke Politics keep the state and cities like Bitchfield hostage. Besides, if we outlined the proper response, it would puncture their fragile egg-shell egos.

Brace yourself for Bitchfield’s upcoming FY25 budget talks. Spendthrift city officials too feeble and greedy to do the right thing by taxpayers: What could possibly go wrong?

Actually, I thought the Eagle provided a mostly reasonable slate. Certainly it is a good starting point. Minor adjustment: instead of teacher/para cuts nail a few principals. Always cut from the top first. Productivity is driven from the floor.

Don’t forget no ‘bonus pay’ to saturate the automatic 5% ‘COLA’.

Think it is now safe to propose cutting the ‘business manager’ from the DPW. He didn’t manage much last two years with tons of unpaid invoices, no purchase orders. Put the DPW back in the room with finance and purchasing.

Seriously? It’s propaganda and you’re losing your edge Chas. How long will the Eagle keep carrying water for Marchetti? Are taxpayers still covering 90% of city employee health insurance premiums? How does Pittsfield compare to other cities and towns?

Slow down, Gemini!

I think that everything that the Eagle list for cuts could be cut. They miss a lot of fat, but it does serve as a baseline. I’d go much farther into the departments: bonus pay, extraneous and ineffective positions in DPW management, HR.

This attack against a city trying to decide how they want their community to be is disgusting. Just another case that proves my earlier point that we are living in a communist state/country. I wonder how much of Pittsfield’s properties are nonprofit(paying no taxes) or are totally supported by government funds(subsidized housing/sect 8 waivers), I won’t even go to the TIFs properties(funny how Allegrone’s moved out of Pittsfield over a decade ago). If we are ever to get back to democracy and capitalism we need to go to in person voting on voting day with an ID.

Ah, Haven’t we been waiting for this!!! The shiny object of budget cuts is dropped to change the public and online conversations away from mysterious year old $50k contractor bills for work given out outside of normal procedures and likely state purchasing laws. Get us all fighting and worried about how many cops, firefighters and teachers we might not have and helping to swell the diversion is the Diversity Officer salary which will only add fuel to the distraction. Their hope is we all chase the shiny object and stop talking about the $50k before someone figures out they can call the State Auditor and make a complaint and God knows how many other things would be found if that ever happens.

New York city is spending just over 10 million dollars PER DAY to feed, house and clothe immigrants. So far…..WITH NO END IN SIGHT

OH YAH IT IS TRUE!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13197815/migrant-crisis-cost-nyc-taxpayers.html

How much are Pittsfield taxpayers paying per day. No one involved will speak to it and this administration probably isn’t even keeping a score card but rumors suggest it is in the thousands and climbing with more arriving each week. Look for ever increasing taxes, fees and fines on everything imaginable. Water, sewer, trash, food, lodging, parking, excise taxes etc. Also look for less services like line and crosswalk painting, trash along the city roadways and building upkeep.

All the while handing out tax rebates to highly successful business folk who do not need them at all. The Petes are going to stick it as far up as they can. It is what they do.

Are you sure you want to raise you family in Pittsfield? Are you sure?

Putin just won 92% of the vote and he made sure he would win by using all kinds of tricks to keeping competition off the ballot and those running against him didn’t even run a campaign. Wow. Sounds like what Biden is trying to do with Trump by trying to imprison him before the elections, but Americans are the good guys, right?!? Our politicians are using dictator tactics like Putin is doing. Chucky Shumer is trying to interfere in Israel elections by saying Netanyahu needs to be removed from office. Biden agrees with Schumer that a leader who is not as mean to the terrorists is needed in Israel.

Oh, please stop repeating far left lies. He was talking about it being a bloodbath financially if Biden is re-elected NOT an actual bloodbath. Look up the definition in the dictionary and you will see that it refers to a financial situation.

bloodbathnounblood·bath ˈbləd-ˌbath  -ˌbäth

Synonyms of bloodbath

1

a great slaughter

2

a
a notably fierce, violent, or destructive contest or struggle
the campaign has become a bloodbath
b
a major economic disaster
a market bloodbath

Being a businessman, it’s obvious that Trump was referring to a financial bloodbath especially since he was talking about business at the time. Are Americans this stupid?!?

But don’t even try to talk to SS because he is not equipped to listen.

I believe that he has not watched the proper, nor enough of it in general entertainment. It is my firm belief that no one can critique a culture, society, or even its brief period, perhaps not even an ant!, without watching a ton of TV entertainment. I would direct S to Walt Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, episode: Rabbit establishes LOTS of RULES for EVERYONE (including ADHD Tigger) but Winnie the Pooh Discovers the REASON they are NOT NECESSARY and DECIDES it’s OK to BREAK one.

It’s really sad that the left-leaning posters on here don’t see the writing on the walls. It’s happening on the local and national front. The illegal alien invasion that China Joe Xiden (Bathhouse Barry) allow to take place every day.

It’s starting in Iowa and will soon spread like a virus across the blue states. If you don’t think Berkshire Health Systems wouldn’t love to replace their “lazy American worker” who calls in sick every Friday and/or Monday like clockwork, with illegals, keep dreaming…..and reading.

Replace American workers with illegal aliens?

*Companies can pay illegals less in hourly wages.
*Little to no medical/retirement benefit contributions by the company.
*Illegals already have govt medical healthcare.
*Government gets to keep the income tax, because they are illegal after all and won’t bite the hand that (literally) feeds them.

***An absolute WIN for the democRATS/RINOS (Uniparty), Companys/Stake Holders (Rich People), and Illegal Aliens.

****A big LOSS for the average American worker. But hey, we’ve already seen the democRATS have no problem kicking US war veterans out of THEIR housing in favor of illegal aliens. So, does this really shock anybody with an IQ above a used tennis ball?

Fact is, if you have a family member on Medicaid, absolutely consider leaving the Commonwealth. Either you pay out of pocket for your own care, and since you escape their long reach they just tax you $3500/year to get what they think is theirs. If you rely on Medicaid, they can come after your estate, the home you were paying off for 20+years, for nursing home expenses, medical services, and even prescriptions. “Can”, in the conservative risk adverse mind means “shall”.

It is a cruel practice, for it forces the most vulnerable to swap family treasure which is the work of generations for the crap medical care of Medicaid Farms and hellish nursing homes not even witnessed in the Third World.

That’s what is so frightening. The people trying to take over this country are using every trick in the book to gain power. They are trying to overwhelm the voting system by the invasion, playing around with the voting system, and indoctrinating Americans to believe they are all victims of their race and gender, and playing on our baser instincts of laziness and wanting something for nothing. Many people who are now voting are not doing so with the best intentions for this country. It’s all personal reasons for them without looking at the big picture of what is happening around the world with globalism and how these same forces are trying to take over this country. If they paid attention to the rest of the world, they would see that far left socialism and globalism isn’t working out for the rest of the world.

Hello blogger Dan Valenti,

On my way to the VA Medical Center today, I drove by a highway sign that said Litchfield (NH), which rhymes with Bitchfield (Pittsfield, Mass.).

Anyways, instead of being called Governor Healey, we should call her “misguided Maura”. She cut $375 million in state funding for social services to the underclass, which Pittsfield has in spades, but she is punishing municipalities who vote down her proposals for “affordable” housing. Misguided Maura’s fiscal year 2025 state budget proposal cuts additional state funding for various social programs, but she wants to double state funding for the marketing budget for gambling in Massachusetts, which on a policy level is really regressive taxation that allows the greedy lobbyists in Boston to get their big business clients even bigger state tax breaks that have no real benefit to many regions of the commonwealth because there are little to no big businesses in these areas.

Mayor Peter Marchetti’s upcoming fiscal year 2025 municipal budget proposal will increase city and public school spending by between 5 percent – 10 percent. In his municipal budget proposal, he will have to account for the city’s large underclass population’s increased demand for social services that misguided Maura keeps cutting state funding for. During the public hearings on the Mayor’s municipal budget proposal, a few fictional Kapanskis will show up and speak, but it will be a done deal from day one. The city plays financial shell games with the state, while the local taxpayers will pay for it.

Joe Biden averages around $2 trillion per fiscal year in federal deficit spending. I read that his annual deficit spending levels are really way above what the federal government reports. U.S. inflation is still rising well above the benchmark rate. The government on all levels is growing, while the common people’s financial accounts are shrinking in real value. The states are starting to run annual budget deficits (again) due to the influx of illegal immigrants and the always growing larger underclass population.

Lastly, let us note that Joe Biden has and is raising more money from Wall Street and K Street corporate lobbyists than any other politician in U.S. history. He has and is buying the White House by over-spending our federal taxpayer dollars to benefit the financial, corporate and ruling elites, while the rest of us pound sand. The rich are still getting richer, while the poor are still getting poorer with old man Joe Biden in the White House!

Communism is not just a economic model, it is obsessed with control of the mind and pen.

Justice Jackson on the First Amendment: (Bold font my emphasis)

My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods,” she told the lawyer representing Louisiana, Missouri and private plaintiffs.

“And so I guess some might say that the government actually has a duty to take steps to protect the citizens of this country, and you seem to be suggesting that that duty cannot manifest itself in the government encouraging or even pressuring platforms to take down harmful information,” she continued.

“So can you help me? Because I’m really – I’m really worried about that because you’ve got the First Amendment operating in an environment of threatening circumstances from the government’s perspective, and you’re saying that the government can’t interact with the source of those problems,” Jackson added.

What is disturbing is the the Bill Of Rights is designed to be immutable and free from relativistic manipulation. It deliberately restricts government, and it does not use words such as, “except for important times [like elections]”, “sometimes”, “if,” or “when”.

Economic growth in Pittsfield = the excessive Underclass population

Financial growth in Pittsfield = the always growing bigger state and local Government

Educational growth in Pittsfield = Level 5 public schools that cost a lot of MONEY

Social growth in Pittsfield = Moving out of Pittsfield or getting stuck in the ditch

Job growth in Pittsfield = Marijuana, Alcohol, Tobacco, Lottery Tickets, etc forms of (voluntary) regressive taxation that greedy lobbyists such as Dan Bosley love to hate

Tax and Fee growth in Pittsfield = Kufflinks’ secretive Slush Funds and Cooked Books

Political growth in Pittsfield = Mayor Peter Marchetti always increasing city spending because residents enjoy city services

Journalism growth in Pittsfield politics = The Twilight Zone of praise and persecution

The Governor in Pittsfield = Misguided Maura dumping illegal immigrants in Pittsfield while she cuts state funding for social services – the WORST of both worlds

The Gated Community neighborhood in Pittsfield = Linda, Luciforo, & all of the Latte Limousine Liberals

The Rolodex in Pittsfield = Jimmy Ruberto living in Florida and Lenox, but how about that Rolodex?

Honestly I think the mayor should set up a relocation fund for people who want to leave. He could use free cash, the marijuana money or some of the TIF money to fund it.

And I think there would be a line out the city hall door on the first day he implemented it. And he knows, based on the hundreds who have left in the last five years alone that this is true. No telling what the real number of people living in the city now is because the “census” was more of a for show thing than a real effort to gather accurate data.

What they do seem to be admitting is that most of the citizens are poor and poorly educated and will be needing help from others. (as will the more well to do peeps)

If you’ve been paying attention, he somehow drove WILLIAMSTOWN (Mt. Greylock School District) into a massive hole and they are on the verge of cuts. There is currently a fine letter (a very rare find!) in the Eagle from Mrs. Wied. It is probably the finest writing in both form and meaning that I have seen inked in that paper. Send the entire editorial board home; I want more of her writing.

To the editor: I add my voice to those asserting that the Williamstown Select Board should not support the proposed cease-fire resolution.

I have asked the Select Board on numerous occasions to cite the sources from which they have authority to comment as a board on articles not strictly related to Williamstown issues. Does the authority come from the Williamstown Charter? The Massachusetts General Laws? Case law? Where? If the Select Board or anyone has responded to my inquiry, I have missed it.

Should not the authority issue be settled before we get to the merits of the resolution?

In recent Williamstown history, two articles appeared on the warrant by way of citizen petitions. They were touted by proponents as being “passed unanimously.” “Passed unanimously” (at the end of a very uncomfortable town meeting when many participants had already left) can be factually translated as “222 votes out of a population of many thousands.” Would these articles have passed if put to a vote in the privacy of a voting booth? This is democracy?
Furthermore, petition proponents interpreted the passage of these articles as a mandate. The result was a huge expense to support institutions and promote programs that many townsfolk found morally offensive and even seriously at odds with their religious beliefs. This is democracy?

Those who recently reviewed the Williamstown Charter deserve our thanks and appreciation for a grueling task well done. But particularly in light of vast improvements in communicating electronically, more can be done to ensure that many voices who wish to be heard are indeed heard.

Monday’s Select Board meeting was replete with words of passion, such as “I will never forgive you.” Speaking and acting “from the heart” was encouraged. Should feelings trump thought, even in local politics? Passion certainly has a place in our lives, but should passion without prudence guide us?

Many opponents of recent Williamstown policies and practices have been strangely silent. Do we want a small group of officials to speak for us on matters of morality, even religion? Is solidarity a good thing? Can there be room for diversity in solidarity?

And to those fearful to speak, please know you have support to freely speak your minds. You might learn that your silence has been and is unwarranted because you really are the majority.”

I found an obituary of her late husband, a true Renaissance man.

So true Teecha. I believe McCandless is also on the board of Lee Bank. Scary isn’t it? Another leader who can’t manage money.

Hello Governor (misguided) Maura Healey,

Kelly Ayotte denounced your comments about a disabled teenage 15-year-old girl who was raped by a 26-year-old migrant housed by the state. Kelly Ayotte said that former Manchester (NH) Mayor and Democratic candidate for Governor of New Hampshire Joyce Craig should denounce your words about the situation.

I live near Nashua (NH), and people told me that Kelly Ayotte is an executive a BAE Systems in Nashua, and that she makes over $500,000 per year at BAE because she is a politically connected former U.S. Senator who gets big defense government contracts for BAE systems. In 2024, she is running for Governor of New Hampshire in 2024, and her tagline is that she will prevent New Hampshire from becoming another version of Massachusetts.

After the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in New Town, Connecticut, then U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte was the only U.S. Senator in the entire Northeast region of our country to vote against gun control reform legislation. Her vote was unforgivable, and it showed her to be a true career politician who is only interested in her own success.

While it is tragic that a migrant housed by the state raped a 15-year-old disabled girl, we should all be condemning Kelly Ayotte for her aforementioned vote that left school children vulnerable to school shootings since mid-December, 2012. Kelly Ayotte’s political career is far worse than your – misguided Maura’s – political career ever will be, but hopefully you will change for the better soon.

In closing, Kelly Ayotte is cashing in at BAE Systems by using her political connections, she put her own political ambitions before the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and she is using you, (misguided) Maura Healey, and the state you run as her 2024 campaign tagline to try to win the Governor’s Office in Concord, NH.

Compared to Kelly Ayotte, I would support you any day, month, season, year, etc. Please take Kelly Ayotte’s criticisms of you with a grain of salt because all you have to do is look at the source.

Best wishes,

Jonathan A. Melle

Sorry, but I see some calibration needed here.
