ADD 1, SATURDAY MORNING — As reaction from the foreign press came in with respect to the Trump-Biden debate, one thing was clear: America’s present state and status under Biden has fallen to a stunning new low. THE PLANET shares this snippet from a story posted by Reuters:
(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION JUNE 28-30, 2024) — The debate has just finished. To underplay the performance of the former president, Trump was Trump. To be overly generous to his successor, President Biden was Trumpled and trampled.
THE PLANET presents first impressions, a critical pastiche of what took place Thursday night in the Atlanta studios of CNN.
The story was how poorly Biden did. He took a week off to prep, and it did little good. Introduced first, the president shuffled stiffly to his podium. In his first two-minute response to a question, he stuttered, slurred, and lost his way. That set the tone for Biden’s share of the 90-minute hoedown. Embarrassing.
We looked on aghast. This feeble, ancient, empty man is POTUS? Say it ain’t so, Joe.
Trump is the middle finger to this country’s petrified politics. He’s the impolitic anti-politician. Biden is the career political hack, a guy who’s been out of, and out of touch with, the Dreaded Private Sector since Woodstock.
Some choice: An octogenarian president who doesn’t know where he is vs. a septuagenarian ex-president who doesn’t care what he says.
Of this choice, however, the clear preference is Donald Trump. If you didn’t watch the debate, go back to a replay and honestly assess Biden’s performance. Seriously, imagine what’s he’s going to be like four years from now.
Democrats commenting on Biden’s performance post-debate were in full panic mode over Biden Alzheimerish performance. Expect the talk now to shift on whether they can afford to keep Biden on the ticket. The Dem convention should prove interesting.

The way to assess a national political debate performance isn’t what the candidates say. It’s how they say it. Anyone who thinks words otherwise might want to check underneath their pillows in the morning. Maybe the Tooth Fairy paid a visit.
In a public speech, how one speaks is as important as what one says. A great presenter can take a weak speech and make it sound palatable. A poor speaker will take The Gettysburg Address and make it sound like gibberish. The first is Trump. The second is Biden.
Trump pounded Biden on immigration, the economy, foreign policy, and other issues. When he didn’t want to answer the question, as he did in questions about the climate and child-care costs, an energetic Trump filibustered with his relentless attack on the president. Biden tried to return in kind, but when you’re outgunned, as the Clanton gang found our at the O.K. Corral, you don’t stand a chance. If there was a mercy rule, the debate would have ended in the first 15 minutes.

An important part of “how” is appearance, or what today is termed “optics.” When not speaking, Biden had a squinty, scrunched face, often with his mouth open and the lower jaw slack. If you’ve been to any nursing home, you’ve seen the unsettling, confused, gaping look. Trump, when not talking, channeled his inner Mussolini, chin out, thrust chest, and head nods.
Most embarrassing for Biden were the many stumbles, mumbles, stutters, and slurs. At least a quarter of what he said was literally unintelligible. At one point, talking about Medicare, Biden “went up,” as they say in the theater, and had his mic cut. Trump jumped on it, saying he couldn’t understand what the president said and that Biden didn’t know what he just said.
As for the shut-off mics, THE PLANET liked the tactic because it worked. We didn’t get the shout-overs that would have otherwise occurred.
Everyone will agree: These two men H-A-T-E each other. There were no handshakes, only head shakes, glares, and Condition Red for Democrats.

President Trump wouldn’t shake the hand of the man who is hitting him with one phony lawsuit after another. Very understandable. Joe did as bad as most people thought he would. Trump is in top form. If the Democrats switch to another candidate at this late time, don’t be fooled. This candidate will be just as far left as Biden. I can’t even imagine them putting VP Harris as the choice, but Gavin Newsom or Hakeem Jeffries have the same policies as Biden just with a smoother delivery of the pain of these policies for Americans. They all favor open borders and big government control, rampant crime because they don’t want police, and out of control spending which will give us more inflation.
I think Gavin Newsom or Hakeem Jeffries would make good replacements for the Joester.

Well, I was wrong, it did happen. Biden’s performance was extremely poor, and I think that the Dems should find another candidate. I don’t think that choice should be Kamala Harris, because she hasn’t shown herself to be an effective leader. This is most evident by her response to Biden’s debate performance. She should have admitted that Biden’s performance shows he is unfit to serve, and she didn’t.
Trump earned many style points with his energy and verbal glibness, but unfortunately his lies and exaggeration do not inspire confidence.
And this is why we respect you so much, OX. You aren’t afraid to revise your views in light of new information. In this case, acknowledging the poor performance of Joe Biden last night.

Traitor Joe stepped up to the podium, his memory on a faulty beat.
His tie askew, his hair a mess, he squinted at the crowd,
And the nation held its breath, wondering if he’d do them proud.
The moderator posed a question, simple as a nursery rhyme,
But Joe’s mind wandered off like a cat chasing time.
“Mr. Traitor,” she asked, “what’s your stance on the economy?”
Joe blinked, then mumbled, “Well, I like ice cream, you see.”
The audience exchanged glances, their brows furrowed in dismay,
As Joe rambled about flavors—chocolate, vanilla, and sorbet.
His cognitive gears sputtered, like an old jalopy on its last ride,
And the teleprompter wept silently, wondering why it even tried.
“Next topic,” declared the moderator, her patience wearing thin,
“Foreign policy—how will you handle the world’s spin?”
Joe’s eyes glazed over, and he whispered to an imaginary friend,
“Let’s build sand castles in the desert, where camels never end.”
His opponent, sharp as a tack, grinned like a Cheshire cat,
Knowing victory was assured—Joe’s brain cells were flat.
“Traitor Joe,” she said, “what about national security?”
He blinked, then giggled, “I once wrestled a squirrel in obscurity.”
The crowd erupted in laughter, their disbelief hard to contain,
As Joe spun tales of squirrel combat, his grip on reality waning.
And so, the debate raged on, a tragicomedy of errors,
Traitor Joe stumbling through answers like a drunk on stairs.
His cognitive glitches became memes, trending worldwide,
And the hashtag #Joe Knows Nothing trended, oh so snide.
As the curtain fell on the debate stage, Joe waved goodbye,
His mind floating in a fog, like a helium balloon in the sky.
And the nation pondered, “Is this the best we’ve got?”
Perhaps it was time to elect a houseplant—a potted forget-me-not.

Biden didn’t even try to defend all of the illegal immigration during the debate. He knows what he is doing with the open borders isn’t good for America. The director of the FBI is warning of terrorist attacks in the future, but Biden doesn’t care. Biden didn’t address any of it except to say that Trump is a liar. After the debate, Jill Biden had their supporters shout out that all of what Trump said was lies. She treated Joe like a child saying that Joe did a good job and answered all of the questions. They set the bar that low. Jill Biden’s attitude toward Trump could be seen clearly during the presidential swearing in ceremony of Trump when Jill keeps whispering to Michelle Obama while sneering at Trump and his wife. Trump and Melania do not fit in with the Washington power club because Trump’s politics are pro-America.

Not buying most of them now being stunned and realize Biden is a mess. They have seen and covered Joe over the last 3.5 years at many functions he attended over that period there. They have seen him in action just like our own press here since the first day he shuffled into the White House after his selection in 2020.
I enjoy listening to an Australian TV personality who plays “Biden Blunders” it’s quite hilarious and I love the accent. I remember when W was in the White House and the press would put out his “folkisms” daily making fun of him. The sad part or outcome from the debate is the people of Massachusetts will see how blinded and corrupt the Democrats are once the voting settles. It’s already in stone that 65% of Massachusetts voters will vote for a man who either has dementia or Parkinsonian dementia to lead the most powerful country on the planet. I hope they understand that he is not running anything but it is his handlers. Watch how Jill had to grab his hand and steer him off stage after the debate. Now is this a ploy so they can drug him up to come out on fire in the next debate to make him look better than he actually is? maybe but all his symptoms suggest a cognitive decline. This was also backed up by the Hur report where it was stated that Biden did not have the mental capacity to understand the crime that he had committed. As someone mentioned previously this seems lie a case of Elder Abuse and should be investigated, although I’m sure the FBI is part of whatever is going on.

Why does anyone care about my (honorable) military service? I am not a career politician. I believe that Governor Maura Healey stands with Veterans, but I strongly disagree with her doing more for illegal immigrants than Veterans in Massachusetts. I believe that the Berkshire-based State Reps. Smitty Pignatelli, Tricia Farley-Bouvier and John Barrett III’s recent vote against giving at-risk homeless Veterans priority to Emergency Housing Assistance in Massachusetts was wrong.
Smitty wrote a letter saying how he supports Veterans, but his public record does not always back up his always lofty words that he bestows upon himself. John Barrett III was the Mayor of North Adams. Isn’t the first thing a Mayor turned State Rep. does is ensure that the people he serves are safe with a roof over their heads? Tricia Farley-Bouvier prefers illegal immigrants on all public policy levels.
Homelessness is a structural assault on a person and/or family. There should be no such thing as homelessness. The huge underclass population in our country is a perfect illustration of how career politicians fail the people they supposedly serve in the government.

He allowed my Enemy #1 in my life named Luciforo to receive a city FREE CASH pot settlement of $341,000, while Pittsfield’s Pot King (Nuciforo) is allowed to stink up residential neighborhoods in Pittsfield with his largest in the region marijuana growing operation on Dalton Avenue. Pittsfield taxpayers pay their city taxes to enrich Luciforo and allow him to stink up their neighborhoods because Pittsfield is in The Twilight Zone.
I am NOT a WINNER in life. I choose to be the opposite of the aforementioned career politicians by simply being a good man in my limited time on Earth. Whatever happened to being a good man? Why does everyone, especially the 60-year-old Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior, have to be so great by picking on the soon to be 49-year-old Jon Melle?
