Curriculareckless — A quick look at the Bitchfield School Department’s “Curriculum & Learning” tab on its official website reserves a prominent two slots for “Cultural Competence” and “Sex Education.” We won’t bother with the details, except to say that these time-wasters come at the express of proven core curricula that emphasize reading, writing, and math. If it comes down to “Making Proud Choices” vs. an in-class essay of 500 words and no AI, THE PLANET knows which one is best. The Socohol Department doesn’t.

Expired — By the bye, the letter to “Dear Parent/Guardian” on the system’s sex education bears the date July 3, 2023. It lists Jumpin’Joe Curtis as superintendent. Like the entire department, the epistle shows the must and mold of “past expiration date.” Sex ed includes a module called “Get Real.” Must be about Latifah Phillips, Queen of Inclusion. When public schools become indoctrination camps instead of centers for learning, a city has a problem.

Book ’em Dano — We see where failed flop Kamala Harris can’t leave it alone. She’s written a ghosted book titled 107 Days. In pre-pub excerpts published by The Atlantic, Kackling Kam throws Joe Biden and his team under the magic bus, blaming them for her loss. The sour-grapes will be sure to spoil the Democrat vintage in the mid terms, let alone the 2028 presidential campaign.

Book ’em Dano II — In other book news, THE PLANET acknowledges prolific author Dan Valenti. His new book on director Stanley Kubrick finished in the money at the 2025 New York Book Festival. Won first honorable mention among the thousands of entries. We hear that Dan has opted to take the prize in Benjamins not Monopoly money. Kick a buck, as he used to say on the radio!

Droning On and On — Have you noticed the Doomsday Clock is now at 89 seconds, the closest to midnight that it’s ever been. It should be set a few seconds closer after Vlad “The Impaler” Putin sent Russian drones over and into Poland for “bombs away.” Vlad says the intrusion was accidental, Right. And Drake Maye will lead the NHL in scoring this season. The ominous part has to be the NATO response, where Poland and The Netherlands sent up jets to shoot down the deadly missiles. It places the world one step closer to war in Europe.

Trans Whirled Hairlines — Did you notice that the indicted accused killer of Charlie Kirk has a male-to-female trans boy-girl-it-friend? The live-in did a good turn by cooperating with the investigation, but why do the transistors keep showing up in these acts of violence? Could it be a sign of the deep warpage that presumably goes on in the mind of a he-she-he-she? If so, why then would society want to normalize such a mental condition?

KY Jelly — Congratulation to Harrodsburg, KY. The town of 9,000 just won a contract for the Corning glass company there to triple its sizeto make the glass for the Apple line of smart phones and computers. That contract was up for bids, and would you be surprised to learn that no one in office for the city of Pittsfield knew about it? If you don’t play the game, you can never win.

BOTH and Neither — The Profiles in Courage on the Bitchfield city council made sure not to vote on Mayor Lumpy’s Ban on the Houseless (BOTH) until AFTER the November election. Must be another of those wild Pittsfield “coincidences.” Our Right Honorable Good Friends kicked that tomato can into the health department, which was the plan all along. They NEVER intended to put BOTH to a vote before the election.
