D.A. CHARGES TEEN IN SLONSKI DEATH … DID HEALEY’S W. MASS. DEI BUST ‘COOK’ FOR THE DANCIN’ DEAN? THE STREET THINK SO
BY DAN VALENTI
PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY
ADD 1, 11/12 — THE PLANET received this from the office of Berkshire County District Attorney Tim Shugrue:
Pittsfield-This afternoon a second individual, Sergio Ponce (17 years old: Pittsfield), will be arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court for the October 26th murder of Brodie Slonski. The Defendant is charged with Murder. The arraignment is expected to take place at approximately 2pm.
(While the Defendant is a minor, Massachusetts General Law states, G.L. C. 119, sec. 74 “[t]he juvenile court shall not have jurisdiction over a person who had at the time of the offense attained the age of fourteen but not yet attained the age of 18 who is charged with committing murder in the first or second degree. Complaints and indictments brought against persons for such offenses . . . shall be brought in accordance with the usual course and manner of criminal proceedings.”)
It’s good to finally have a prosecutor in charge who takes the job seriously. And what’s the job? It’s to act as lawyer for every decent citizen in the county.

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE MONDAY NOV. 10, 2025) — Is there local connection to the big news of the drug arrest of Gov. Healey’s liaison to Western Massachusetts?
The street thinks so.
Healey’s been ladders in selecting members of her wacko administration. The nation’s first lesbian governor has created a sycophantic harem consisting of uber-Loon-Left women (preferably of the ‘correct’ sexual persuasion) peppered with strands of token males (by necessity either gay or black with a previous criminal record). That’s your state government not at work but at woke.
In public service, sex and color matter not in the least to THE PLANET if–we repeat, IF–appointees prove competent. Sadly, however, merit-based has not been the case with Healey, from the plus-sized lieutenant governor who couldn’t manage a team in the Flea League to her Campbell-soupy attorney general, whose sole mission is to file pointless law suits against President Trump. The effect has been to put the Bay State on the federal (s)hit list, politics being what they are.
And thus the hits continue for the Forgotten Berkshires with the recent arrest of LaMar Cook, to whom we dedicate this verse:
He black.
He stoked.
He smack.
He coked.
———- ooo ———-
Cook, need we remind all in Bitchfield and Berkshire County, has been OUR representative to Gov. Healey since 2023, when the guv appointed this fine example of public service to head her Western Massachusetts office based in Springfield. Some “rep.” He’s into “rap”–not the music but “rap sheet.”
Could be that Cook’s time in Bitchfield wasn’t concerned about city issues but working blow with the Dancing Dean himself, Lavante Wiggins, charged by the Feds late last year with running a massive drug dealing operation while he was dean of students at Pittsfield High School. Word on the street insists the two did business in drifting snow across the city.
———- ooo ———-
Last week, state police busted Cook when they intercepted 18 pounds of cocaine addressed to the governor’s office in the Springfield State Office Building. In a separate seizure, police grabbed another 46 pounds of Bolivian Marching Powder intended for Cook. Do you think there’s a link between this pas de deux and the rhumbas of the Dancing Dean, or are street sources having journeys to the center of their minds?
THE PLANET‘s favorite part of this meller-dramer is the nationwide search and exhaustive background check Gov. Healey initiated before hiring Cook. Let’s see. Police had previously nabbed the 45-year-old Cook for what they say was his part in 2001 gunplay in Springfield. Black dude with a mile-long court record? Talk about checking all the right boxes, eh? It probably dwarfed the comprehensive, all-embracing background check official Bitchfield did for Wigigns.
———- ooo ———-
“Cook and two other people were charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a handgun within 500 feet of a dwelling, and unlicensed possession of a firearm,” reads a letter sent to Healey Nov. 5 by Rep. Bradley Jones Jr. (R-Middlesex) and state Sen. Bruce Tar (R-First Essex and Middlesex District). Notice the “R” after the names.
The lawmakers demanded the governor “to publicly disclose the details of the circumstances that led to Mr. Cook’s hiring in 2023, including any recommendations and support he received while interviewing for the position. We also urge your office to immediately conduct a complete and thorough review of the vetting procedures used to hire state employees within the executive branch so that any deficiencies in the existing process can be identified and corrected. These steps are essential to restoring the public’s trust and to help ensure that all future hires are held to the highest ethical standards.”
Naturally, Healey ignored the request. That’s what happens in a one-part totalitarian system, one that in its lack of true representation makes a person envious of fascism.

Ask Marchetti or White. They probably know the whole story. Is that why White was looking to exit stage right?
Coakley, Healey, this new one…
Gangster state.
Hunter Biden received a presidential pardon, but his old man preceded the Orange Jesus.
She smashing the stigma.
I found this on the internet about the hiring of Lamar Cook and Kristen Elechko, from the MA Municipal Association site. It’s the absolute “poster child” of failed gubernor Maura Healey and the left-loon’s DEI hiring practices.
If you look at the picture of these two DEI hires, at least Lamar is professionally dressed.
The Western MA Deputy Director, Kristen Elechko, looks like she took her file photo after winning the MA Arm Wrestling Competition, in the men’s division. Very unprofessional, but it’s what I’ve grown to expect from MA politicians.
Hell, we have Mayor Lumpy who doesn’t wear suits or ties to professional gatherings and CC Prez Wimpy White, who still wears his Chewbacca costume and has light saber wars, outside of his house in the middle of June and thinks it’s fun, adult, entertainment. Enough said.
Administration names western Mass. director and deputy director – Massachusetts Municipal Association (MMA)
With the recent bust of Lamar Cook, shortly after Da Dancin’ Dean, got busted, it makes you wonder if Da Dancin’ Dean, is singing like a canary to try and lesson his prison sentence.
If so and he gave up Lamar Cook, that was a pretty good snitch on Da Dancin’ Dean’s part.
Good work, MARK. Your speculation about the DD possibly “singing” certainly seems plausible.
Dan
No need for the Dean to sing, Massachusetts grabbed up Lamar , to keep him under control.
His future is the same as Epstein’s…Unless he gets to club Fed!
Moron Healey is getting very uncomfortable, look for her mistakes to multiply, as reimbursements are withheld. Taxatwosh^*s is on the sh^*list, and will pay dearly.
Foleys career @ DOJ, is about to end , which courthouse will Moron install her in, as her payoff ? Is only mystery left…

Shoe program.
LOL. It’s called the SHU PROGRAM. Secured Housing Unit.
Noticed the Dancin Dean sold another house in the Pits. This is the second house he has sold since being arrested. It was listed in the Beagle yesterday. How many more properties does he still own in the Pits. Guess he is still raking in the money and singing like a canary.
As far as Lumpy goes, all the latest media pictures of him he looks totally miserable. When is his court case coming up. It’s taking long enough!?
GLUMpy.
Too many golumkys for Glumpy. Pittsfield mayors all seem to eat well don’t they?
And the council as a whole? None of them seem to be starving while serving the city.
Fat of the land, PFD.
Wondering if the feds prove the properties were purchased with any monies at all from his alleged dealings he is charged for could or, would they seek to try and take any of the proceeds?
If done right, Real Estate is a good way to launder drug money and becomes a liquefiable asset if the snow hits the fan. Protection against account seizures.
Would have thought they would have froze his assets.
That’s interesting. His assets were not ceased? I will have to catch up on this case.
Even the Gay guys think beer gut Pete has the style of a hillbilly.
Lamar Cook was making $116,000 per year in his job as Deputy Director for Western Massachusetts. That’s a very good salary not to mention all the government perks. The job opening has just been listed. Job requirement: Never have cocaine delivered to your office. Another example of why Massachusetts government is so corrupt that this man thought he could have cocaine delivered to the state office building.
Was making? Is he not still cashing those six figure checks from the taxpayers along with covered health insurance?
Scott Galloway warns of ‘nowhere to hide’ in markets if the OpenAI story unravels

Your way behind, ever notice how cocaine and barbershops, seem to be connected?
Its not due to the prison to barber pipeline, might be the chemicals cover sent, making dogs ineffective.
You might recall Kameltoes July 27, 2024, visit to Pittsfield, she perpetrated a B&E at a local salon, with an assist by local law enforcement. The colonials bathrooms , must of been broken, sniffff. Who else attended the gathering @ 413? Devil Patrick and Mikey Wynn….
Cocaine in the white house, making more since now? Hint ,its a good antidote to alcohol, …. Secret Service , CIA ,FBI and DEA run on Hookers and Blow ,Columbian Cartels in 2015 threw giant parties, for them ….
Lamars connections to schools ZOOMASS & bright initiative back to school…
and Barbers is pretty well known….
Yet somehow law enforcement defectives, never put it together?
MSP got its cut….
Much the same as Matty Murray …..
Until the feds arrested him….

Speaking of law enforcement does Mandani know that he has a current n y p d commissioner that is Jewish. Tisch had radical views that exceed even Mundami and is also the daughter of multi -billionaire Lawrence Tisch.
And what is a billionaire doing as a nypd commissioner with her money?
Commissioner Tisch revolutionized the 911 dispatch through A I tech surveillance company Carbyne 911 ….
Funded by Jeffrey Epstein..
It’s the beauty of a cash business…would love to see their tax returns, they probably all get welfare checks and SNAP
What I find odd is how long they stay on the payroll. The Dancin Dean, the Chief in Cheshire, the whole lot of the PHS crew, and of course the congress continuing to receive their paychecks without missing a day, On the bright side was happy to see the shutdown end and Chuck Schumer making his plans for his exit even if he wants to stay, it will be curtain time for him.
IT’s odd in the extreme, RK. MY guess is that they do it for legal reasons for fear of later lawsuits. Still, it should not be done. Get charges with serious crimes, immediate suspension w/out pay. If later cleared, back pay. As for the shutdown, a win for the American people, another “W” for Trump, a “W” for moderate Democrats, and a huge loss for the radical Loon Left.
Happy Veterans’ Day.
Our Freedom is not Free.
Financial Security is a big piece of the economic pie.
We should all live with dignity.
I love our country: The United States of America.
As for the Government: FREE SPEECH whether the career politicians like it or not, especially Pittsfield (Mass.) Mayor Peter Marchetti who requested a 90 day grace period free from public dissent, while he publicly stated that he is not a fan of social media platforms, blogs, and the like.
Let us take back our government from the likes of the above politician!
He loves to pretend he’s “above” social media, but trust me — he’s glued to it like it’s his life support. He’s on here every single day, refreshing, lurking, obsessing. And his little puppets? They treat it like a competition to see who can deliver him the next link showcasing just how much his own city can’t stand him.
A loss of health insurance for the loon left for sure but also for millions of maga folk. They will soon be laughing out of the other side of their anuses.
“We’ve got to pass the bill. To see what’s in the bill…” – N. Pelousey.
^^^^^ i.e. over a thousand pages of manure, Congress was given a couple of days to read before voting on.
Q. Why do you vote NO on all these bills? A. “I read them” -Ron Paul
The Democrats/Leftists own Soterocare, and own the insurance subsidy extension set to expire Jan 1st. They passed the extension under the ruse of the Kung Flu. When they controlled Congress and Creepy Joe was their anointed/appointed one.
They just kicked their ball further down the Liberal Highway to Hell.
Ask yourself, is health insurance inexpensive now, even with subsidies?
Still irks me that those people exempted themselves from O Care. O Care wasn’t good enough for them? They have Caddie health insurance.
Congress deserves our finest healthcare, they should be required to use VA hospitals.
Affordable O Care was a pipe dream.

I think Mr. Trump has a big surprise for you sir. If you believe for one second that his cuts are going to select for democrats exclusively you are going to learn a hard lesson. And that is that now that he is elected his maga disciples have no real value to him except to purchase his gaudy China made merchandise. And that is why, in closed circles, he refers to you guys as his “ching ching followers”.
Indeed, it was P. T. Barnum who first credited with saying there was “a sucker born every minute”, but trump gets credit for taking it to the ultimate of heights. And he does deserve a prize for that achievement you will agree.
Health insurance stocks exploded with passage of academic. Pelosi certainly went the bank next morning.
What did we get? Lost health care deductions, IRS penalties, expensive plans with huge deductibles. And couldn’t keep our doctors, even that.
Toter system more flaws. Drivers slamming down and toters fall over. The lidsare left up leaving rain snow in them Snow covers the color coated recycle lid. Paper especially isn’t fully emptied a lot of times.Tote tips over with wind and easily tip over. Pests insects get inside the totes. Not to mention animals. One other thing does anyone think these things are actually easy to roll to the curb?
Another item the totes are picked up at scattered times.
The flaws are all human. People are lazy and stupid. If you cram the paper in to the point where it’s beyond packed it’s not going to come out. That’s just common sense.
People overfill them and then leave the lids open. Idiots. The toters are great and less random trash all over the roads
How long You worked for Cassella?
I have found that by diligent use of a sawzall I am able to save my self a trip to the transfer station or pay someone to haul away a dresser.
Or you can do what Big Earl does and use a businesses trash dumpster as your own trash bin and save a few dollars in the process. Big Earl believes election season is the new spring cleaning when it comes to getting rid of your bulk trash at other people’s expense.
Where is Detective Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle when you need him ? Bet he could shine light on if there’s a connection to the Bitchfield’s Dancing Dean case and the Lamar case.
Three accidents since the new construction on west st. Center area
Ricky Retardo has ruined another Pittsfield thoroughfare.
Will there be “ski jumps” erected on West St like the dangerous one on Holmes rd? The sidewalk work is outlandish and numerous bump outs uncalled for.
On the Holmes rd jump, Evil Knievil could probably clear Elm St and land in Demming park.
Cars flying off the road everywhere. Perfect conditions.
Dan. Cars are going off the road like a video pin ball game. This could have been avoided with any brains at City Hall.
Hancock was predicted a dangerous NARROW road. However after the rollover maybe perspectives will be reconsidered on patrolling it. Once in awhile.. One thing for sure lawn and garden riggs with equipment or trucks is not wide enough. Just the opposite of what the city does with the new NARROWER roads.
I want to send out warm salutations and a great big THANK YOU to all the service men and women who work everyday to keep this country safe and of course a big THANK YOU to all the Veterans on this special day.
One question where are all the Park Square Flags this year?
Dan.Better see the latest public works meeting. Why are questions being asked after they’ve already started building and replacing taxpayer funded project?
The wizard was right about the latest big dig. Morales doesn’t know what it will cost? That’s because they have no proposal because the city has to appropriate it.
And time to start paying for it. For no reason. The Only thing getting bigger, other than the bill is Kufflinks and wrong way Ricky’s waist line. Lot of nodding going on at this meeting. Add Wahconah Park funds while your at it Council. Dopes.
When are they going to widen the Hubbard ave bridge or just dig a new wider tunnel to the left of the existing one? Get those folks from the Innovation Center over there and figger it out huh? In China they do stuff like that in about two hours and that includes paving and lining the new roadway.
Maybe an elevated Round-About to go around and over the tracks? May a new ballroom that you drive into and come out on the other side of the bridge? Help me out here.
China’s new major bridge just collapsed. Think it was built in record time though.
Not sure where all those flags are but it was a stupid idea to put a thousand flags up when six sends the same message and cost a small fraction. Stop stupid waste and vendor grifting in Pittsfield please. Kudos to whomever nixed the overkill display.
Each flag is paid for by family members of veterans.
And each city worker who has to retrieve them from the warehouse, deliver them to park square, unpack them and put them all in the ground in a laid out grid is paid for by the taxpayers. Then they come back later and pull each one out of the ground and pack them up and store them for the next year, also at taxpayer expense. My guess is that this all takes a bunch of hours.
If you were told that they just sprout up like flowers each November 11th you got bad information.
Not sure what Bitchfield does, but other towns the VFW and American Legion put up the flags.
Maybe it was Pete Hegseth. Seems like something he would do, although he would have taken them from a graveyard somewhere first.
He hates Beardos and Fatties so don’t offer to help him if you fall into either or both categories.
Idiots like You have freedom of speech because of our Veterans.
No matter what vile offal You utter.
The Families that buy the flags take them once the display is over. Kiwanis Club is in charge of the Flag of Honor display. Barking up the wrong tree. If you want to see waste watch the municipal Garbage truck drive around to the City Parks 7 days a week, year round 2 people in the vehicle.
So, let me get this straight, a city honoring its Veterans bothers you?
I’m sure most of those people were honored to show a little respect and pride to those who served and maybe lost a friend or fellow soldier in battle.
Stalin, Mao, and Xi, are very proud of you. Spoken like a true liberal-Communist.
Besides the city spending taxpayer money on the entertainment, you and your fellow peers enjoy like “Drag Time Story Hour with Kids” (pedophilia), “Hands Off rally” (TDS), and the “No Kings rally” (TDS), what do you approve the city spend some taxpayer money on?
From what I understand, “The Park of Honor” was always a children of veterans scholarship fundraiser for the Pittsfield Kiwanis Club. The Club used to do all of the storage, installation and removal themselves. However, like many fraternity organizations, the club has fallen on hard times in recent years due to declining membership and the old guard retiring. A change in leadership resulted in the one person who did all of the organizing of the flag event, leaving for another nearby chapter. As the Pittsfield club slowly deteriorated from there, the city offered its assistance in putting up the flags the last couple of years and hoped to do so this year due to the positive response of the display by the community. However, it was determined that the manpower is just not available this year. The Pittsfield chapter of Kiwanis Club disbanded several months ago.
I’m not sure what country has those rainbow flags? But their women sure are ugly!
I believe Mad Magazine did a story about the women in this country in 1976.
I was able to find that magazine on an eBay ad.
In case the link disappears, it depicts a very butch looking “woman” wearing tight shorts and a muscle shirt. The tight shorts show a large package between “her” legs.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/203858165729
And to think, democRATS actually consider this to be a normal way of life for people-Gender Dysphoria.
Also the reporters at the Berkshire Eagle believe a person with a Penis, can be a Woman. Crazy times.
Agree. Why does Ventford Hall in Lenox have a Rainbone Flag? I thought it was a Guilded Age Museum. Where is the tie in? Why not a United States flag. Do they get more money flying the Rainbone flag?
As the whole City of Shitsfield is a sheet of ice, accidents, 4 to 5 car pileups, roll overs, fire trucks unable to even drive on some roads, shortage of ambulances and getting worse by the minute! Meanwhile, Mayor Grumpy Lumpy and all the City Councilors are sitting in City Hall chambers totally oblivious as to what the state of the City is currently. To think they were all voted in again.
What will Mayor Grumpy Lumpy and Bump out Morales’s excuse be this time. What are we paying taxes for?
Dan, just curious as to why it takes 17 hours for a short paragraph to go through, yet others can post “novels” we all know who I am referring to, and there are no issues with that?
Nothings perfect. It’s his prerogative. Merry. But I love your meat and potato’s posts. What is there to say?
Watch the public works meeting on water. Ya follow? Tar do knows nothing and neither does the city clowncil. The new plant will operate with Krofta floatation?
Holy Flocculation Batman…The Big Dig begins taxpayers….
Newspaper downplaying it saying none of them were serious. The one on its roof off Hancock might qualify in some areas where officials were willing to take responsibility.
Good one. A car on its roof is never serious.Hancock is very dangerous and has dead trees. Said many years ago it’s only a matter of time and there’s been a lot of accidents since I’ve said that it’s an accident waiting to happen
Go to police log only 24 accidents. What’s the big deal?
They were not including all the ones that slid off the road. Only the ones that plowed into something and required a report. But police on the scanner sure seemed concerned. If it had been a school bus day and not a holiday guaranteed they would not have been able to downplay it.
I agree. Roads were horrible yesterday. The road crews must have been watching the weather and seeing how bad it was getting or were they? Yesterday was a holiday. Did all city workers have the day off including those responsible for road safety? Not much traffic on the roads for much of the day until rush hour so there was no excuse for not putting down some road treatments for ice. The temperature never made it out of the twenties for most of the day on terrible Tuesday. It was so dangerous around BMC especially Charles Street where cars could barely make it up the hill.
What happened to Warren’s and Earl’s new brine trucks they bought to solve icy roads?
They’ll be back for more.
……To NARROW!,,,,To many BLIND spots. Dumas.
Just read an article out of Boston. Not one of the Massachusetts Congress contingent want the Government shutdown to end. They are are voting to keep the SNAP benefits from going to the people in need, they are voting not to pay the TSA. military, or other government employees. They do not seem to care about the pain they have inflicted. They just want to keep people starving and not getting the pay that the working people have earned.
Again this is the DEMOCRATS from Massachusetts and the rest of them from the USA that are trying to starve people!!
The Democrats/Leftists were all holding out to ensure free benefits for CRIMINAL ALIENS.
How is MA D-Gov Healey going to fund the CRIMINAL ALIENS now that she can’t use Federal Taxpayer’s money? Isn’t that looting already almost $1 Billion?
Trap,
Healey will use the Three-card monte approach with the federal funds she does get and not supposed to use on them in order to get around not supporting them.
Pittsfield Tax Rate Drops, But Bills May Rise

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The administration has presented a split rate that would increase the average single-family home’s annual bill by about $220.
On the agenda for Thursday’s City Council meeting is a hearing for the fiscal 2026 tax rate: $17.50 per $1,000 of valuation for residential property and $36.90 for commercial, industrial, and personal property. This rate uses a residential factor of 0.8299 at a shift of 1.75.
While the rate is 44 cents cheaper than the year before for residential properties and more than a dollar cheaper for commercial properties, bills will rise.
The FY26 levy limit of $119.5 million includes more than $2 million in new growth, and there is about $389,000 in excess level capacity. Pittsfield’s real and personal property valuation is $5,650,879,534, more than $380 million higher than the previous year.
The average single-family home has increased by more than $20,000 from $295,291 last fiscal year to $315,335 in FY26, and with the proposed tax rate, would pay $5,518.36 in taxes per year. This represents a $220.84 increase.
The median home price increased at a similar rate, from $256,500 in FY25 to $275,150 in FY26. Commercial property increased by more than $15,000, the median property valued at $224,250 in FY25 and $239,500 in FY26. The median commercial property would see a $327.42 annual increase in its tax bill.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, there are 11,330 single-family homes in Pittsfield this fiscal year, four new parcels added from the previous year, and the assessed value of this property type rose by $226,274,900, totaling $3,572,750,000. There are 1,733 two-family homes, four fewer than the previous fiscal year, and that property type is assessed at $387,638,100.
There are 712 commercial properties with a total value of $428,856,000, 242 industrial properties with a total value of $139,218,000, and 15 industrial power plants.
In FY26, 16,374 of the city’s properties are residential, 818 are commercial, 260 are industrial, and 1,820 are personal property.
Thanks for posting this. Amazes me that my little four room house is increasing more than $26,000 in one year. Just another crock of crap from the Marchetti Administration. Meanwhile he is taking in more money and the City is getting worse by the minute, especially the school system along with crime and terrible streets.
Make Bitchfield Unaffordable Again….MBUA
In reading this story something REALLY stuck out to me. I quote from the news story, “Ponce was already in jail on a totally separate assault charge. He is accused of pulling a gun on someone on Halloween during a prade. Officials said Ponce has a very long criminal record, with 22 past juvenile arraignments, including a conviction that involved a firearm.”
Juvenile or not, how is a person with 22 past arraignments including a firearm charge, allowed to walk the streets freely?
That means he’s been arrested and to court almost two dozen times as a juvenile.
I can only imagine this scholar fits a certain DEI profile that our former “Social Justice Warrior” DA Andrea “Wrong Way” Harrington, failed to prosecute when she was in office.
