(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE WEDNESDAY JAN. 14, 2026) — This evening, Bitchfield citizens will be serenaded by the dulcet sounds of the city’s Sochol Committee, whose No. 1 hit “I Wanna Hold Your Scandal” still tops the charts of this $125 million exercise in educational futility. This hullaballoo will be the new SC’s first regular meeting of the calendar year.
You’ll recall at the initiating session, the board “elected” Mayor Lumpy, also known in civilian life as Peter Marchetti, its chair. They’d have been better off choosing Lumpy for the walls or even the ceiling. The floor in council chambers, where today’s meeting will be at 6 p.m., has too many scuff marks.
KATHY “LADY BOOTS” YON
To provide the appearances of legitimacy, newcomer Sara Muir, who gaveled the inaugural outing, received a nomination for chair. She promptly delivered her lines, having done a fine job of memorizing, and declined. She said she didn’t feel ready. Reasonable. Muir then nominated Lumpy. Unreasonable. The mayor should not be a member of this committee.
The constituting documents of the city specify three coequal governing boards: the corner office, city council, and SC. The first of these puts together a budget for the entire muni operation. To give the mayor power of the school budget represents a moral conflict of interest.

The mayor is an ex officio member. Dusting off THE PLANET‘s 9th-grade Latin, ex officio designates an appointment only because the person holds another office. It has nothing to do necessarily with qualifications. Given his mismanagement through obfuscation, Lumpy is clearly unsuited to be ON the SC let alone chair of it. At best (worst?), he or she should be a non-voting member only.
How did Lumpy’s ascension to the throne occur?
Simple. Through that shop-worn Bitchfield device known as an Open Meeting Law violation. Word has it that Lumpy met secretly with three other members (making four in total … a violation). A school department source tells THE PLANET they were Muil, Lady Boots Yon, and a third. Speaking of Lady Boots, she’s many moons past her expiration date. Gumming her words in that inaugural session, she spoke in a barely audible, gravely croak that would tax the hearing of the Greater Wax Moth. She’s obviously on the dais to give Lumpy via mumbles a pocketed vote.

If word of the secret meeting is true, then we have another sham, a classic orchestration likely designed to keep lid on a steaming mountain of departmental corruption. One gets the feeling that the recent scandals represent only the tip of a Titanic-sized iceberg. Could that also be why the outgoing SC made sure to put in as acting superintendent Queen Latifah Philips?
Newcomer Ciara Batory, who moments after being sworn in and seated called for the committee to release the (ahem) “independent” report on the school department’s recent game of footsie. You’ll recall that the Administration put severe pressure on the school board to keep Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski in the dark about the report. Even though the report would be redacted. Even though it would also in all probability be a whitewash. And yet …
CIARA BATORY
… and yet, Lumpy and Co., still tiptoe in mortal fear that the paying public, i.e. taxpayers, should not be privy to the document’s contents. What are they hiding?
Not to be outdone by her ballsy petition, Batory then nominated herself for SC chair. In her statement, she putting Lumpy in the driver’s seat would set the Sochols off the cliff without a parachute leading to decisions and practices that the public would not be able to trust. She said this mistake would guarantee “more of the same.”
Trust THE PLANET and Judge Crater, “more of the same” will continue the $130 million educational joke whose punch line the city’s public schools.

If Good really loved her children more than her ’cause’, would she have ambushed an officer with a weapon at her hands? A loving parent would not want to orphan her child.
Technically a bruise is internal bleeding. So are stomach ulcers. It seems like there’s enough video of the shooting and of the officer afterwards and the following day that the internal bleeding story is a flex more than a fact.
It’s one of my officers had internal bleeding I would remove them from duty for enough time for it to heal because that’s the type of injury that makes LEO really vulnerable in terms of being hurt more or actually killed on the job.
There are plenty of those guys on the ground out there already; they’re not going to miss one guy.
I do not believe, after watching so so many angles and videos on a variety of news outlets, not just the liberal ones, that Renee Good’s vehicle cause any injury to the officer other than to maybe his pride after the fact, but probably not even that tonight.

The issue is not whether injury happened, but that the woman effectively ambushed the officer. Boxing in an officer is considered to be both an ambush and a threat to injure.Boxing in a civilian is considered taking a hostage*.
A reasonable person has the option of using a gun to defend in those situations, and an officer is often obligated to do so.
*I draw on my experience on the craft show circuit. A friend packed to leave a craft fair held in a public park early, before scheduled close. The promoter blocked his truck with his own. So, thanks to the new age of cell phones, the artist called 911 and declared a hostage crisis. Next came the SWAT team. Imagine what could have happened if the unhappy promoter chose to blast out of there instead of complying withorders to remove his vehicle? Lesson: really think twice before using your vehicle for purposes other than transport.
Also, Outfox – I agree with you about the internal bleeding – that is a pretty easy diagnosis to give if you been hit by just about anything – it’s a sub-integumentary bruise.
Close to home I think, is the memory of MOVE 1987 (?) incident under Mayor Goode of Philadelphia. As a young self-described moderate liberal socialist Jeffersonian Democrat communist (I had a lot to work through then) I argued to a teacher (also very left wing) about the violence of action taken by the Philadelphia Police (dropping a bomb on the building, storming the roof bunker, resulting in the deadly fire that scorched an entire urban block. She (the teacher) responded: “You have to understand that these people (MOVE) are not just nice people. They march all through the day and night with firearms, shout on bullhorns, and really are a problem for those living on Osage Ave.”
To me, I don’t see a large distance between the actions taken by the current crowds on city streets today and those taken by MOVE. In the end, the actions taken on Osage resulted in firings and probes faulting the strategy of dropping a bomb on the building and letting the fire roast to force an evacuation. However, no one argued that the PPD should have not responded.
So I actually witnessed MOVE as it happened, as I was a student at Temple in my very first apartment in Center City Philadelphia and we watched the whole thing unfold on my little 13-in b & w Zenith passed down from my parents, and as I was on the 11th floor of my apartment building we would run down the hall to the fire escape when we knew the helicopter was in the air and we saw that suitcase drop and fall onto the buildings while standing on the landing of the building fire escape looking west.
Sadly we lost an entire neighborhood that took years and years to rebuild and the rebuild construction was so shoddy that the homes were almost unlivable.
Worse than that UPenn took possession of the remains, and kept them for their museum. That was f***** up, on top of so many other things that went wrong.
What I do remember really clearly though is the fire chief I think his name was Gregor Sambor ( I always get his name mixed up with the name from Kafka’s Metamorphosis so I probably have it wrong but it was close to that) )going on live TV that evening and in the following day saying he took full responsibility for what happened and then back pedaling once lawyers got involved.
As for MOVE, it was easy to be sympathetic towards them as the fire burned uncontrolled, just as it is now some 40 plus years removed.
But that was not Philly’s first go round with MOVE.
I think it was Mayor Frank Rizzo’s cops, who were notoriously brutal, who first took on MOVE. Protesters did not stand a chance against his mounted Police and their horses.
Rizzo was racist and that I know for fact because my first wife was a Rizzo, and I will never forget my mother-in-law talking about the first MOVE incident by the city of Philadelphia, and describing how “filthy” the compound was and how dangerous it was for the rest of the neighborhood, and it was the same on Osage.
Filthy here however was the dog whistle word the city and my in-laws used instead of the n word.
There are some significant differences between MOVE and Minneapolis; you note superficial similarities but present inexact analogy.
One of the differences is that MOVE was also heavily armed, whereas the Minneapolis protesters so far are not or are at least not visibly, yet.
Anyway I will never forget walking past Wilson Goode( no relation to Renee LOL) in 30th Street station long after he was mayor and being shocked at how small he was.

Well, it looks like the CMP (Communist mASSachusetts Party), also known as the democRATS, are looking for new ways to tax the working class out of existence, limit their mobility (vehicles), and try and keep the climate scam alive and grifting.
MA democRAT Senator Cynthia Stone Creem (d-useless), wants to reduce how much you drive your car, all in the name of “climate sca… change.”
This bill is the called the “Freedom to Move Act.” You’re free to walk, bike, or take public transportation, according to Creem. You’re not free to drive. That’s going to cost you. Not now, but the CMP is setting up another future tax down the road to penalize you for driving a gas-powered vehicle.
You wonder if the cities and towns police forces will be exempt? If not, WOW!! Talk about a double tax. Both at the state level and local level to pay the state passed on to the common folk.
When I open the picture of the article below, I can’t help but think to myself, WTF is in the water in Boston that these female politicians are drinking? Creem, failed MA gov Maura Healey, and the MA illegal aliens rep, Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (d-illegal aliens).

Why does the City of Pittsfield need a new 100 +Million $ new elementary school? Crosby should be closed and their 245 students put in our other elementary schools. Full disclosure, I got my data from Department of Education site and Barry Architect sites. According to those sites the capacity of the 5 Elementary schools that were renovated in early 2000’s has a 612 student deficit. Allendale for example has a 409 student capacity with 226 students enrolled. Also there are 339 incoming 5 graders who will not be attending Elementary schools. That’s almost 1,000 students that could fit in our schools. Seems they could close more than just Crosby and Conte. We already pissed away 2 million plus on a study. Did they study enrollment?

It does NOT need one. And the whole process moving forward, with hardly any resistance, is further evidence that special interests run the government and that having elections in Pittsfield is more comedy than substance.

My early research shows those afflicted with TDS believe you are a “far-right,” MAGA extremist if you:
1. Have full-time, steady employment.
2. Are literate
3. Can form your own thoughts and opinions without being given them by DNC/MSM.
4. Loves his/her family.
5. Loves America
6. Has Common Sense
7. Obeys the law
8. Believes in legal immigration
9. ID required to vote
10.Job qualifications mean more than skin color does.
I believe it’s a good beginning.
Any thoughts or additions to the TDS symptoms are appreciated.

My mother and her family were severly aflicted with Musolini Derangement Syndrome (MDS), but escaped by emigrating into this country from Italy with her parents and sibs in the 1930s. I’m sure many here also had parents and grandparents affectated with SDS (Stalin Derangement Syndrome), KDS (Khaddafi Derangement Syndrome), HDS (Hirohito Derangement Syndrome), TDS (Tito Drrangement Syndrome), KDS (Kruschev Derangement Syndrome), FDS (Franco Derangement Syndrome), CDS (Castro Derangement Syndrome) and MDS (Mao Derangement Syndrome), and emigrated into the US as a result.
Those who emigrated from Khrushchev (very few probably back then who could) would suffer KDS. Most Soviet emigres are GOP, came here in the 1980’s, and hold Reagan in high regard. Those most come here having scratched their way out of the SU with no hold on the English language, they generally are English literate and have good jobs. I am skeptical that many Serbs or Croats were infected with Tito for similar reasons. However, I’m certain there are tons of FDS, MDS infested people and other similar caterpillars munching away in their native environments.
