INVOKING THE 25th WON’T DO AND WON’T HAPPEN, WHICH IS BEST FOR AMERICA

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY JAN. 11, 2021) — Who woulda thunk that Donald Trump — developer, magnate, magnet, shyster, tycoon, typhoon, icon, con man, human volcano, walking archetype, precedent of the United States of America — would go down as a great teacher of constitutional government?

That’s one conclusion THE PLANET offers with this discussion about Impeachment 2.0 and the 25th amendment.

This amendment provides direction for succession upon vacancy in the White House. The 25th contains four sections. In the case of President Trump, only the fourth applies. Before THE PLANET continues, here’s the full text:

———- ooo ———-

Twenty-Fifth Amendment

Section 1

In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

Section 2

Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

Section 3

Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President.

Section 4

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

———- ooo ———-

In the aftermath’s of last week’s riot, Democrats have taken up the 25th while Trump has taken to the 19th. Suddenly, VP Mike Pence has become a VIP. Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer have called on Pence to trigger the 25th.

He won’t, of course, because it would be bad for everyone — Republicans, Democrats, every citizen, and the country itself. The reality is that Trump’s presidency has less than 10 days. To throw America into further chaos with the removal of a sitting president this close to the Inauguration would serve purpose than political revenge — something Democrats will have plenty of time for in the next four years. Despite the bluster, Democrats won’t pull the 25th. It would cost them too much political capital, given they don’t have a mandate. They have 50%. That leaves an entire other half. With this kind of division, pussy hats will never become a fashion statement.

Syracuse Joe Biden, of course, still talks of being a unifier, his comparison of Ted Cruz to Josef Goebbels notwithstanding. That gaffe was VP-elect Kamala nagging into his earpiece. At a press conference two days ago, Biden said, “We need a Republican Party. We need an opposing party that is principled and strong.” We here in the Bay State know what he’s talking about, with Dems commanding 81% of the House and 93% of the Senate. That’s one-party rule. We know how that’s worked out for Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski.

Joe did get off a good line. He noted that on his way to the press conference, someone informed him of Trump’s decision not to attend the Inauguration: “That’s the only thing he and I ever agreed upon.”

Best now just to ride out these 10 days, get Joe sworn in, and, like THE PLANET, get get ready for the ride.

To explain my reasons more – I would agree if you said pardon Snowden. Snowden was the leaker and was careful about not risking assets or putting other leakers unwittingly at risk. Assange was like a leaker broker – not caring who he trashed along the way. If you know people in intelligence they will say lots of assets compromised by Assange – maybe you don’t think that matters. I think if we don’t want to be like europe with bombs and knife attacks every year we may want a strong intelligence community. obviously it’s a balance. But Assange was directly responsible for making the choices that made that risk to people happen and it it came from pure ego.

Now we learn that Facebook, Twitter google and Amazon all gave money to Biden and stopped any bad news against the swamp, why….230

I believe that Trump is an alleged criminal who is allegedly guilty of insurrection against the U.S. Government. Trump praised Nazis on several occasions during his presidency. Tomorrow (January 11th, 2021), the U.S. House of Representatives will begin the second Impeachment of Donald Trump for his role in the far right mob’s breach and riot on Capitol Hill on January 6th, 2021. I hope that Trump will be impeached for a second time.

I believe Joe Biden and his “crime” family, who are now all worth enormous amounts of money without reasonable explanation, will enrich himself and his family and his campaign donors first. I believe that the Biden “crime” family needs to come clean about their wealth, Hunter Biden, and the business contacts overseas and money laundering that Hunter Biden is being investigated for by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies. I believe that Joe Biden may owe White House favors to authoritarian and adversarial countries such as China. I believe that Joe Biden may not be president for long if any or all of these allegations are true. In fact, I am unsure if Joe Biden should even be sworn in as the 46th U.S. President.

So, President Donald J.Trump is The Best President ever for Jewish people!
Trump recognized Jerusalem as Capital of Israel.
Trump normalized relationship between Israel and 4 Arab countries! Farshteist? Kapish?
Trump’s daughter –Ivanka Trump converted to Judaism–married a Jew- Jared Kushner!
Trump abolished Iran’s nuclear deal, which threatened Israel.
But you are right about Joe Biden—those are not allegations, but facts.

Those arrangements in the middle east could have been a fantastic legacy for Trump. It is a shame that America pays huge huge amounts to Israel so that they can afford to have healthcare as a right, almost free education and paid maternity leave but Americans who pay for this get bubkus. It’s like paying for your best friend’s dinner and letting your family starve.

Babylon Bee
WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a recent statement, President-elect Joe Biden has promised to move quickly the moment his term as President begins. He announced that immediately after his inauguration, the first order of business will be to impeach and remove Donald Trump from office.

“Listen, folks, here’s the deal: If I’m going to be your President, then first thing’s first. We’re going to have to impeach this orange one-horse donkey kicker,” President-elect Biden explained.
He continued, “Now I know you’re all excited about erasing the Electoral College and packing the Supreme Court, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Trump has got to go!”
As President, Biden has committed to doing everything within his power to remove Donald Trump as President of the United States.
“Every moment I spend in office will be dedicated to impeaching this baloney-poking flapdoodle.”
Many laughed thinking Biden must be joking, but he fiercely replied that he’s “serious, Jack,” and “not gonna let this stand, not while I’m President”!

As much as the emotional side of me would like to see them invoke the 25th, the logical side of me agrees that it would probably do more harm than good at this point, and I can’t see how it would ever happen anyway. That being said, I believe censure or something should be done, as his behavior was so egregious, it can’t be left unchecked completely.

I do take some comfort in the fact that he has personally blown up both his political career and his business empire. He was leaving office with a huge war chest and the position of kingmaker, but the days of the republicans kowtowing to him are over. And on the business front, it wouldn’t surprise me if he winds up filing for bankruptcy again. The Trump brand has been his greatest asset. Most of the Trump hotels are owned by others, and he has licensed his name to them. I can’t see anyone looking to do that going forward. After all, why would you want a hotel named after a guy half the country despises. Sure he can license his name in Saudi Arabia or Russia, but Western Europe and the US will be out.

25th does not apply. The proper course would be impeachment if one believes he incited the rioters, which is arguable. He would be long gone by the time of a senate trial, which may or may not result in a guilty, but House can impeach quickly.

Trump was a one and done anyhow and business wise, I think he was already half done too.

Trump is a member of the trans national elites chess club. The club does not revolve around a two party system, but it is however, two sided. It’s them vs. everybody else, heads we win, tails you lose. Since many people are scared, angry, confused, or even just mentally checked out at this late hour, it’s obviously the result of bold and desperate maneuvering by them. We’re witnessing the tail end of a phenomenon which is predictable and cyclical in nature, namely, the rise and fall of great civilizations. The lust for wealth and power by certain types of personalities is ever present, and of course, as these self proclaimed rulers of humanity inevitably manage to acquire the reigns of power over society, their lack of wisdom ensures humanities collapse. But of course, there are two sides to the trick coin, and shame on us for not getting hip to the trick. Lust and power, combined with blissful ignorance is and always has been a recipe for disaster.

Many years ago, I watched a movie on TV. I can’t remember the subject but it became so heated in the country that a TV newsman shouted out during his program “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more!”

As time went on it reached a point where apartment windows were opening and people shouting the same words.

“We took the building without firing a shot.”

“I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be”

You have yet to see revolution and insurrection.
– some dude probably someplace.

“You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there’s unrest in our lives.”
– some lady someplace.

“Fear that all you have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
– some other dude probably someplace else.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
– some lady someplace.

“One third of the armed forces and half the police are with us, you marginalized them, you called them racists, you pushed to defund them. They are now our brothers and sisters in the cause.”
– some really scary dudes that are fucking around

“protesters should not let up,”

There is some interesting comments on Facebook regarding a article on how outraged the DA is by current events in Washington, DC. How the f does all this talk help us here?

“Ok so our DA WILL condemn and can join forces with the DAs from across the US condemning the Capital attack. But there are men who shoot people. Attack women. Abuse children. And are mentally unstable. Free in our community SMH CAN WE HOLD LOCAL CRIMINALS ACCOUNTABLE?! The ones causing terror in our own community, who seem to slip through prosecutions and walk everytime!!?!”

“I’m very upset and hurt by this. Being a victim of domestic violence and a witness to the drugs and violence in a our lower end communities.
I always thought this was a focus of hers but I’m noticing now that focus is political. We here in this community in Berkshire County are just a Latter for her success.”

The DA does only what her fellow DA’s tell her to do. She doesn’t have a clue otherwise. Maybe she should concentrate on what a DA is supposed to do- fight crime, even if it means you don’t get your name in the paper! She should also be worried that a very high profile attorney is soon to make a decision on running against her. She thought by now she would be looking at a higher office in the state, doesn’t look like that will happen.”

Here is the evidence that Trump caused the trouble at the Capitol……this is from 18 minutes into the speech

Donald Trump: (18:16)
We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity of our elections, but whether or not they stand strong for our country, our country. Our country has been under siege for a long time, far longer than this four-year period. We’ve set it on a much straighter course,

Trump’s campaign harnessed the Timothy McVeigh types and the capital events show where that leads you. I doubt any of those jacked up ‘patriots’ in Kevlar will get executed on tv like McVeigh because we have become softer and more tolerant of domestic terrorism. They are lucky though that all that is happening is that they get shamed and lose their jobs and Trump gets a meaningless impeachment. Good riddance to all that garbage.

Now all fifty states will have Trumpers in major city’s inauguration day to cause more mayhem.

Republicans and bloggers on here? Are condoning the trump speech before the mayhem and attempted coup and Murders? Republican Senators are disgraceful. They are wrong. Impeach him otherwise we have no democracy.

Put in is laughing every minute at this one. China? China is sitting in the catbird seat.

People have asked in here multiple times what Trump said that you think constituted incitement to riot, invade, or whatever you want to call it, the Capitol.

Well?

Are you familiar with the logical fallacy of POST HOC ERGO PROPTER HOC?

You’re committing it.

Perfect example of a rush to judgment on the Capitol thing.

Almost like it was a setup, like the Reichstag fire, to unconstitutionally suppress freedom of speech and start the line for Dachau.

Just about everything I’ve been talking in here for a while is coming to pass before our eyes:

–the New Stalinism
–Axiom #1: Left = Liar
–no such thing as “news”
–no such thing as “journalism”
–totalitarian penchant of the Left
–BLMPOSANTIFAPOS = the NSDAP Sturmabteilung/Brown Shirts

Glenn Beck did a good job this morning comparing the Dimorats with the Reichstag fire/Nazi takeover in 1933.

Had a guy on named Edwin Blake, author on eugenics, IBM and the Holocaust.

Scary stuff, which we’re now living.

It wasn’t a coup. All those senior citizens were looking for a lunch buffet.
Capitol got over run by 70 year olds now the idiots are hiring white supremacist security companies to protect Biden.
Half the Secret Service is loyal to Trump.

I received an email this past evening from Act of Mass about the Massachusetts State Legislature’s closed door and rushed passing of legislation that most of our lawmakers had no time to review. Moreover, many bills were left to die in committees or sent to study. The public had no opportunity to participate in Beacon Hill’s proverbial secretive sausage making. This means that most Beacon Hill lawmakers did not fully understand what they were voting on, and the public had no opportunity to understand and/or participate in the legislative process of passing bills into state law.

There’s a Ponzi scheme brewing in Dalton. Be careful how you manage your money in the Berkshires.

In all seriousness, if the water man has a plan to save us from a third mortgage I want to hear it and the City should listen also. This Fussing recent bill I received is going to throttle any investments I’ve recently made on my properties. The fussing tenants aren’t paying rent either?where the hell do I go? Let’s hope it is true the n y ers are buying. Because I’ll be selling with these rates. I have no choice.

This man child was able to get a bullet proof vest and riot shield in the Capitol building.

What an embarrassment for the USA that the security is so lax this was a threat.
You should be thankful they didn’t do real violence.

“Coup.” “Insurrection.” “Sedition.”

The Left loves to butcher the English language.

You can do that with no weapons in six hours? And leave the premises?

Take, harm, or kill not one government official? Make no statement at all? With no apparent purpose at all?

This was a setup by BLMPOSANTIFAPOS.

Dersho continues to make a lot of sense. He is NOT a Trump guy–and he’s a Dimorat:

This “woman” took over at Schumer’s presser in NYC. When security moved in, she told them to back off and they did. They went to touch “her” and she told them to “stand down” and they did.

Six days after an attack on the Capitol. If that “woman” had a bomb in “her” bag, they’d all be dead.

This “woman” isn’t a Trumper but “she” did get “sexually excited” over seeing the riots at the Capitol, “her” words.

Politicians better wise up and start taking security seriously. They can’t let people that close to these people.

Dachau:

During the first year, the camp held about 4,800 prisoners. Initially the internees were primarily German Communists, Social Democrats, trade unionists, and other political opponents of the Nazi regime. Over time, other groups were also interned at Dachau, such as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Roma (Gypsies), homosexuals, as well as “asocials” and repeat criminal offenders. During the early years relatively few Jews were interned in Dachau and then usually because they belonged to one of the above groups or had completed prison sentences after being convicted for violating the Nuremberg Laws of 1935.

Nanzi and Shummie working on their own Nuremberg Laws right now, I’m sure.
