MISSING ‘HEALTH INSURANCE’ MILLIONS PROVIDES FITTING FUNEREAL SEND OFF

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY AUG. 19, 2020) — Money comes, money goes. That’s the insight provided by ServiceNet’s Jay Sachetti in NOT explaining why the homeless were kicked out of SJHS and left to rot in Springside Park. Funny that neither mayor Linda Tyer nor community development director Deanna Ruffer have offered any explanations. That, however, is not THE PLANET‘s topic today. Our topic is money coming, and money and a man going … going, mostly as in …

The funeral mass for Gerry Doyle, conducted of late, we were told.

Can’t say for sure. THE PLANET didn’t attend. We had no interest sitting in a crowded church during a pandemic, especially where the sardines packed the can elbow-to-elbow sans masks.

Did anyone cough? Did anyone sneeze?

For working stiffs, funerals must be limited to 20 people. For the elite, the rules don’t apply. Pack the church. Fill the air with viral droplets. Call the pourer of large drafts. We only hope they haven’t reignited an outbreak of COVID-19.

Doyle’s great accomplishment as mayor — next to his nefarious involvement with convicted felon Michael “EV Worldwide” Armitage, next to his selling out the city with the Consent Agreement, next to his failed attempt at a coup during the Civic Authority debacle, and next to a balloting error that invalidated an election — has to be the health insurance scandal whereby the city stopped paying premiums on employee health insurance. Where did the money go? Don’t know that we ever found a satisfactory answer. We DO know that it left taxpayers at least $6.2 million in debt.  We DO know that Doyle  got rid of his pal, finance director David Kiley, sending him out of Pittsfield with $45,000 and a certificate. Kiley resigned in 2001 less than 24 hours after the $6.2 million deficit came to light. Another of those Pittsfield “coincidences.”

To get out of the financial muddy, Pittsfield begged Boston for permission to borrow $10 million. Boston said yes on condition that the Department of Revenue, not the city, control the city budget. What humiliation.

Funny that neither Doyle, Kiley, not anyone else faced the music for these odd happenings. They couldn’t be assumed innocent. That can only happen to a person following criminal charges.

———- ooo ———-

After Sara Hathaway beat Jimmy Ruberto in November 2001 to become Doyle’s successor, former city soliticor Sam Landa and insurance investigator Kenneth Ramsdell sat with Hathway in Landa’s office on North Street to inform her of the breadth of the health insurance scam. The essence was that both Kiley and Doyle were bonded and that the city could go after the bonds to recover the missing money. THE PLANET sat in the room along with then-state sen. Andrea Nuciforo. The meeting ended with Hathway promising to go after Doyle and Kiley as her first official mayoral act. Landa drew up the documents, held in escrow to be signed after the swearing-in ceremonies.

Funny thing happened, however. Nuciforo got on the blower to Boston, and then next thing you know, ol’ Jed’s a millionaire. Hathaway had a “come to Jesus” Damascene intervention, state officials pulled strings behind the scenes, and the new mayor suddenly “forgot” about the whole thing. Nuciforo paid back Hathaway by driving the bus over her when she went after the Registrar of Deeds job, a make-work post Andy coveted.

He got it the job. She got Siberia.

Strange days, indeed. Most peculiar, momma.

The moment “They” got to Hathaway marked the assassination of the city formerly known as Pittsfield. Hathaway should have gone after the bonds. It would have harvested Pittsfield millions in payments and prevented the need for a state take-over. But no. She played ball. After Jimmy came back in 2003 to defeat her in Hathaway-Ruberto II, the city’s fate was sealed.

The Suits have been in control ever since.

We end by saying that THE PLANET puts no faith in the rumor that after Doyle’s funeral, the bill on the bottom read, “Please come again.”

As a fellow human being, I loved the guy.  As mayor, Doyle inflicted the most damaging corner-office tenure in city history.

Requiescat in pacem.

The dead always do.

Oh boy here come the JM lucifaro rants.
Speaking of not living in the city, Hathaway lived in Richmond with her lesbian lover her entire term as mayor.
Where did that money go?

Some of JM’s “Luciforo” rants are well warranted.

Isn’t he involved with the Dalton Ave pot farm? Who evicted Salvation Army and got quick State approval?

In Pittsfield politics, the Good Old Boys are all interrelated and have controlled state and local government for generations. Gerry Doyle and Jimmy Ruberto both had family members who were in charge of City Hall. In closing, it is “All in the Family” when it comes to Pittsfield politics.

I happened to drive by St Charles Church yesterday morning. What’s going on?

At first I thought there was another shooting, as I approached there were several PPD and Sheriff’s car with lights on.

Certainly more than 20 people just milling about outside, didn’t bother to look if they were masked.

Soon realized that Doyle must have been Catholic

Apparently the Doyle family is above the law. My nephew’s wedding scheduled for Oct. has been cancelled, my friend’s funeral was an “immediate family only” event – but for Pay-to-Play Polito and Gerry Doyle there are no restrictions due to the pandemic.

Supposed to have been “live streamed” so all can see who/how many were there.

Why all the LEOs? Was there fear of retribution for what Gerry did to Pittsfield/Berkshire county with the “consent decree”, with GE?

Are the funeral attendees/family members from out-of-town quarantining for 14 days or taking the covid test? Were all names & addresses of attendees taken for contact tracing? Was a meal provided at a restaurant and did the restaurant follow occupancy limits? Since the police were at the church, were they enforcing the church’s occupancy limit, mask requirement and social distancing rules?

I know several churches in the south have gathered together and caused a lot of virus spread. You would think churches would learn that those kind of gatherings go against all medical advice.
Who would put something like this together and be able to get so many others to go along with it? Same with the Proprietors lodge? Don’t they care about their community?

You can have large funerals for the elite, large wedding gatherings at proprietors, march in the streets unmasked under the guise of BLM, but allowing in school instruction to kids? OH NO!

You want to support minority youth and the most at risk children? Open the damn schools. Despite not one child dying in the state of MA from COVID, we are paying for a $125 million dollar school that is collecting dust while parents teach their kids from home and balance work. We have paid teachers and administrators since March to stay home while the rest of us either got laid off, somehow made it work from home, or are still unemployed.

To all the politicians out there who marched and made it seem like they actually cared about minority communities, the most racist thing you possibly could do is widen the achievement gap by going full remote instruction.

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/watch-portland-mayor-ted-wheeler-shamed-by-leftist-mob-after-appearing-at-protest/

Wheeler was fully surrounded by left-wing protestors and rioters and aggressively publicly shamed. The mayor’s attempt to recite a set of pro-riot talking points was quite literally overwhelmed by the curses of the rioters, who made it clear that they see Wheeler as nothing more than a “fascist.”

At one point Wheeler was asked whether he supports the outright abolition of the Portland police. He was brutally shamed after he responded to the negative, in a scene eerily reminiscent of the public shaming of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey at a similar left-wing protest weeks ago.

No police equals lots of violence across the country. It’s that simple. Criminals aren’t suddenly going to decide to become good citizens. Getting rid of prisons?!? That one is really frightening too. The rich Dems will hide out in their mansions watching the violence and eating popcorn surrounded by their expensive security team. The poor Dems aged 18 to 24 who stupidly believed the lies of the far left Progressives will just get used to a world filled with violence and anarchy. Everyone else will be complaining, but the politicians will not be listening since the citizens foolishly and stupidly gave them all the money and power.

It is also untrue that Dems want violence to spread across the country. I know many Democrats, and none of them hate the truth, reality, and sanity, and none of them want violence to spread across the country. NONE of them. Why make such claims that are so patently false? It does not help the situation and only makes things worse to make such statements.

I still lived in Berkshire County when Pittsfield Mayor Sara Hathaway was ousted by Jimmy Ruberto. A political group called WHEN (or Women Helping to Empower Ruberto) was formed and 3 women named – the lovely Linda Tyer, Tricia Farley Bouvier, and Pam Malumphy – were elected to the Pittsfield City Council. WHEN did not make a mayoral endorsement, but they informally backed Jimmy Ruberto for Mayor. Ruberto appointed the lovely Linda Tyer to be City Clerk, and Tricia Farley Bouvier worked in the Mayor’s office for a number of years. Ruberto and Pam Malumphy had a falling out. The lovely Linda Tyer followed in Jimmy Ruberto’s footsteps and is the 2-term Mayor of Pittsfield, while Tricia Farley Bouvier has been a Pittsfield State Representative to Beacon Hill for nearly one decade. Pam Malumphy is on the outs with the lovely Linda Tyer and Tricia Farley Bouvier. WHEN was successful for Jimmy Ruberto (of Naples, Florida and Lenox), the lovely Linda Tyer (of the millionaire gated community), and Tricia Farley Bouvier, but left Pam Malumphy on the sidelines. WHEN has since disbanded. In closing, as blogger Dan Valenti puts it: Pittsfield politics has been controlled by the Suits since 2004 or since the start of the Ruberto regime.

Has anyone heard how the Community Development meeting pertaining to the homeless issue went last night? For some reason, ba! ha! ha!, the Berkshire Beagle has no article about the meeting, wonder why, hiding something again? Tried to watch it last night but once again it was a complete City of Pits ZOOM disaster. Thought I might have heard that they once again delayed the vote but I am not positive as you couldn’t decipher much of what was being said. Between watching the CC ZOOM Hollywood Square meetings and then this meeting last night, I am fearful for the Pittsfield Public School virtual learning. The poor students of Pits. Still wondering why these meetings could not be held in the gym of the taxpayers new high school, or is it too small for 10 or 12 people. But then again our politicians ZOOM from home yet the City allows a huge funeral to go on with multiple police detail yet we have no traffic enforcement on the City of Pit’s streets.

Goodyear has gone way down in quality anyway. Look at a Goodyear tire after a couple years and you can already see cracking between the treads and surface cracking. If your going to spend that amount of money on Tires, get Coopers.

Goodyear stocks have tanked last two days. After this management policy of theirs became known. Americans won’t buy their trash. I’ll NEVER buy from them again.

If Biden wins November, They’ll be soon Chi-Com Owned too!!!

Hunter Biden will be happy, he’ll get another Chi-Com deal Joe brokers, and he can snort up the $$$.

Maybe Hunter could pay his child support to his stripper girlfriend, DEMentias Joe’s grandchild?

BTW, when Hunter knocked up the stripper, he was married to his brothers widow. DemocRAT family values…….

It’s Goodyear mis-management/adminsTRAIORS at fault.

DEMentia Joe don’t know what year it is, or if he’s still running for Congress or President. It’s fact, document by Joe’s own words. 2020

Harris is left of Socialist Bernie Sanders (senate records), that’s who D-s will be voting for. Old Joe won’t last 4 years.

So…….You want a harlot who slept her way into politics (Married SF mayor Wille Brown’s mistress). Who was a corrupt CA prosecutor, who called Biden a “racist” in D-debates, POTUS? She’ll “have advice” from the D-s who hate America, the same ones featured in the DNC circus this week.

The D-s omitted AMERICAN flags at 2016 DNC convention, they can at least learn to be good fakes 2020.

BUT, they basturdized, The “Pledge of Allegiance “. D-s hate Christians and God, they omitted “one nation under God”.

TSC, it was CLINTONS EPA that gave PITTSfield the contaminated SUPERFUND site, for free!

The EPA “cleanup” was brokered by D-s: Doyle, DeVillian, and GE-Welch.

Pittsfield got D-Doyle “Judas money” that was squandered and fed PEDA, run by Tom D-Hickey. Tom did NOTHING except $$$ from PEDA for the WHOLE time he was employed there.

Tom Hickey, let’s hear YOUR side of YOUR accomplishments at PEDA, name ONE? !!!

Babylon Bee

U.S.—A new study has found that far more Americans would trust Dr Pepper than would trust Dr. Fauci.

While Dr. Fauci has made some questionable claims over the past few months, Dr Pepper hasn’t made any erroneous predictions about the virus or recommendations when it comes to masks and other protective measures. So the soft drink has rocketed up the charts as the most-trusted medical professional in America.
“Dr Pepper has 23 delicious flavors that combine into a cool, refreshing taste that’s just right,” said Texan man Greg Bolar. “Dr. Fauci has none of these things. He can’t even give you diabetes, for crying out loud.”
“Dr Pepper has never let me down.” He then cracked open a cold, thirst-quenching Dr Pepper and chugged it in one gulp. “Ahh — that’s good stuff — and it has none of that nasty deep state aftertaste left by competing brands like Dr. Fauci.”
Americans also prefer Dr. Thunder, Mr. Pibb, and Dr. A+ over the medical advice dispensed by Dr. Fauci, according to the study.
This article was brought to you by Dr Pepper.

These are the companies that are going to keep the homeless in the parks and out in the cold.

The homeless are only good if they are far away.
You know being downtown would make it easier for them to walk to services, maybe find jobs, get groceries, get medical care, meet with Squeaky about her free legal aid service.

The owners of Allegrone Companies, B&G Restaurant Supply, Barrington Stage Company, CT Management, King Kone, Lombardi, Clairmont & Keegan, Ann Moore, the Shipton
Building and Hotel on North signed onto the letter sent by Cook-Dubin. The public hearing was continued to September 2.

Matt Kerwood is sitting on a +$10 million slush fund, which means the lovely Linda Tyer (and her millionaire hubby) overtaxed Pittsfield property owners by +$10 million. Matt Kerwood’s infamous and notorious “creative accounting” raised municipal taxes by over $1.8 million in Pittsfield’s fiscal year 2021 municipal budget. Meanwhile over 60 homeless Pittsfield citizens are without an emergency homeless shelter. What is wrong with this horrible situation? EVERYTHING!!!! Pittsfield politics does not serve the people, especially Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski!!!!

You mean Downtown Pittsfield, Yuki Cohen and Cohen Kinne are responsible for depravity against the homeless and the tax payer? Sounds about right. A constellation of shit merchants. Cook-Dubin seems to be on the wrong side of every argument (Beacon BS) and you have to begin to question why anyone supports DPI. If the taxpayers are getting screwed and someone wealthy is getting a handout look for Cook-Dubin. He lost his big Federal Fire Vinegar case – (where they sued little old ladies around the US – so very classy) wonder how much tax payer economic dev money went for that nonsense. Not as smaht as they think they are.

Parks Commission wants you to give the donations to , Service Net, the GOB endorsed/connected creeps who mis-managed the shelter at St Joes. Be a good chance the donations would end up in Service Nets pockets , or in the dumpster at the City DPW.

Do the right thing and direct the donations through the Salvation Army, they really care about the homeless and hungry.

The City don’t give a damm about the Salvation Army. The connected GOBs are running a pot farm on Dalton ave where The Salvation Army Store used to be. That weed store got fast tracked for approval though political connections at Beacon Hill, and The Salvation Army evicted.

In regards to Berkshire Roots pot store, there is definitely political connections being played by allowing the three story monstrosity of a building currently being built right on Dalton Avenue to grow more pot. Definitely zoning laws have been broken/ignored. Can remember when the City gave Price Rite almost a year long fight for them to just post the sign for the store. Have the zoning laws changed? Now heard from two different folks in the past week that these same political connections have purchased Kens Bowling alley to continue to enlarge their pot farm. How sad as hundreds of residents enjoyed bowling during the long Berkshire winters. Feel sorry for residents of this ward. In just a few years they have endured 600 to 700 Spectrum drug addicts driving, staggering, overdosing in their neighborhood every day. They now have two pots shops, another once being built on Merrill Road, the new monstrosity and now another one in Ken’s Bowling. This neighborhood was a quiet family orientated area, not anymore especially with the constant pot skunk odor. All towns around us the residents were allowed to vote on these pot stores, many won in not letting them build yet Pittsfield taxpayers were ignored as usual. Dan, you speak of the Doyle/Kiley missing money issue, what about the Tyer/Kerwood issues with the money coming in from these pot sales? Kerwood doesn’t know how much money has come in? Why, Great Barrington seems to have figured it out? Where is all this money going or being hidden? Will we ever know or will the question still exist 10 or 20 years from now?

“They” don’t necessarily need retail pot shops, they only need grow space – they sell the pot out of the cafe’s etc., raw bud sales out of these commercial real estate spaces they own & manage. Raw bud is where the money is. CCC Regulations decrease the profit. Flower grown at the facilities for sale without the packaging or testing – beautiful buds. Stinking delightful bud with your crepes w/ red eye to go ! Zip, zap. The retail pot shops ain’t it, you wont find any violations there. Or connected names on the Corporate Certification. Ask for bud with your macchiato, or your short ribs & you wont be disappointed.
