A. On Nov. 4, America will wake up to a new president-elect, Joe Biden. Here’s why:
- Democrats have $85 million more in reserved ad time.
- Polls are holding up for Biden.
- Biden holds the lead in a majority of swing states.
- Debates: Trump blew a fuse in debate one and pulled out of debate two (now canceled entirely).
- Trump just spent time fighting COVID-19, taking him off the campaign trail.
- Trump’s recent criticism of AG Barr and Secretary of State Pompeo shows the president’s volatility. Americans want calm and stability in the White House.
- Trump has been unfocused lately, all over the place.
- Two-thirds of those requesting mail-in ballots are Democrats.
B. On Nov. 4, America will wake up to four more years for President Trump. Here’s why:
- People are discounting the “shy” Trump voters who will do their speaking on Election Day.
- The Real Clear poll of polls shows that Biden’s perceived lead is less than Hillary Clinton’s at a similar point in the campaign. We know how that turned out for Democrats.
- The “enthusiasm” factor. Trump draws crowds. Biden draws crickets.
- The Bloomberg poll shows that both Republicans and Independents are far less likely to reveal their voting preferences prior to Election Day.
- Trump fought and beat COVID-19 and is back on the campaign trail.
- Trump, far from being all over the place, is tackling numerous issues in presidential fashion.
- Trump did the right thing skipping debate 2, which would have been virtual. And now C-SPAN has suspended its would-be moderator, Steve Scully, indefinitely.
- He’s planning an the Mother of all October Surprises.
C. On Nov. 4, America will wake up not knowing who will be their next president. Here’s why:
- We won’t have a declared winner on election night.
- Slow in-person balloting will jam up the polls, leading to a delay in ballot counting.
- In key states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (others also), the tallying of mail-in ballots won’t begin until Nov. 3. In those states, votes won’t be counted until the polls close. Then poll workers (1) have to confirm the identity of the voter with registration rolls to make sure the voter is eligible. (2) The outer addressed envelope has to be opened to (3) get to the envelope inside with the actual ballot. (4) The ballot is examined to make sure it satisfies formal voting requirements. (5) Mismarked ballots are thrown out. (6) The ballot envelop with the voter’s preference is then tallied. It’s a slow process ripe with opportunities for things to go haywire. Primary voting in Wisconsin, for example, saw 23,000 ballots disqualified because of marking errors. That is more than Trump’s margin of victory in 2016.
- Short of an obvious landslide one way of the other, the order of the day will be for the “loser” to take the results to the courts.
- There will be unprecedented civil unrest, with mobs taking to the streets with no good in mind. In fact, there will be no mind at all, as is the case with mobs.

Kids are not in school because of obstructionist school teacher’s unions. MA – possibly the most liberal state in the country – had to kick the butts of lazy Pittsfield teachers to get them back to work. Pittsfield teachers are a disgrace, hang your heads in shame. You fail. F for effort and F for results. They only get an A++ in salary relative other Berkshire Co workers. DeFund the teacher’s unions today.

Not one person under the age of 20 has died in MA from COVID. Trump isn’t the reason kids are not in school, it is the teachers union using COVID as a crutch to justify not going to work since March. This whole learn from Zoom at home crap isn’t working for anyone, especially the kids. Parents can’t work, kids (especially minorities and those in poverty) are suffering from a widened achievement gap, and employers cannot find help.
If the parents cannot work and are expected to stay home to teach their children then it is time we start paying them instead of the teachers.

You really hate Trump. I get it. But here are a few stats for you to ponder as you bang the drum of fear.
-So far 448 deaths have been under age 25.
-In 2018 there were over 6,800 suicides in that age group. By all indications that number will be off the charts this year. An increase measured in thousands of lives.
Stop fear-mongering. If for no other reason than it is causing massive harm to our kids. Anyone who claims we have “protected” kids through our actions is delusional.
The good news is that people will likely be held accountable. Human rights attorneys are all over this now. The next few years will be interesting.

I think there will be civil unrest with all 3 scenarios. If Trump wins either by a landslide or by a slim margin, there will be civil unrest by the same groups that have been causing trouble all summer. In a Biden victory, still more civil unrest because the system still needs to be broken down to make way for this radical form of government, more police defunded, criminals will run amok. If no clear winner, the media and Democrats will be broadcasting victory anyway for Biden and will silence all voices who say otherwise and will use the same violent groups to stir up trouble. With such radical extremism in our country, I don’t have a lot of hope for a peaceful transfer of power. I will, however, hope and pray for a good outcome.
I’m hoping that no matter who wins, and my hope is clearly Biden, that they win by such a clear margin that evening, that the yet to be counted mail in results won’t even matter. Unfortunately it’s more likely we’ll go to bed on election day not knowing.
The irony about Trump is, when he was running four years ago he bragged about how presidential he would be if elected. If he only actually did act presidential the last four years, he probably would have been a shoe in, but he just has no impulse control.
Considering how wimpy Republicans have acted for the past 20 years or more, President Trump is exactly the right person for the presidency. He isn’t acting presidential, he really is presidential and a great leader who has accomplished more good for the country than any president in recent history. He is passionate about our country because he loves our country and will fight for it. Fair enough, JD. My affinity, as you call it, steps from the fact that he’s a true Washington outsider. That badge of honor is claimed by many but few can wear it having earned it. Trump is many things, but the one thing he is not perhaps trumps anything he COULD be, and that is (holding my nose) a “politician.”
I always thought he was a charlatan but hoped I was wrong. I really do think if he could have controlled himself and utilized being an outsider as a way to bring people together and get things done, he could have been pretty successful. But the truth is that he’s petty, narcissistic, and lacks leadership qualities. That can work when you’re running your own business, but not when you’re running the country.

Look at the enthusiasm he has generated – thousands show up and stand in line for hours, even in inclement weather, to attend his rallies. Hundreds and sometimes thousands participate in boat parades, tractor parades etc. to show support for Trump. Often at Biden appearances, more Trump supporters show up to heckle him than Biden fans. Biden is the most corrupt VP in American history. A vote for Biden is an anti-American, globalist vote – as the Democrat party seeks to morph this country into a socialist “utopia” in order to usher in one-world government.

The other factor in play for Biden is “Trump fatigue.” The President is a whirlwind, tornado, walking soundbite, and parade all in one. Great Town Hall last night for President Trump. The moderator attempted a hit job against him, attempted to rattle him, but he was great. Even people who said they were not sure who they would vote for or might vote for Biden, seemed to really like him, even one complimenting President Trump on his great smile. Everyone, except the moderator, was respectful.
Joe Biden’s Town Hall, on the other hand, showed Joe at his worst and he was not interrupted by the moderator every 20 seconds like President Trump was enduring at his Town Hall. No rapid fire questions for Joe. The moderator kept it toned down and easy.

The Town Hall was great for President Trump despite a nasty Democrat moderator firing off questions like rapid gunfire. She seemed to be debating Trump rather than questioning him. Compare that with the ever so slow Town Hall of Joe Biden. Joe would not have been able to keep up with the rapid fire questions of President Trump’s moderator, but the country deserves to see Joe’s feet put to the fire. The contrast between the two debates couldn’t be greater. One coddling Biden and the other being completely disrespectful to President Trump.
It was a strong performance. I did notice that Biden drew a friendly moderator while Trump drew an interrogator. Actually, I prefer to see the interrogator. The job is to put the candidate in the hot seat. Biden got softball after softball.

What do Pittsfield State Senator Adam Hinds and Lenox State Representative Smitty Pignatelli and their vacationing Beacon Hill colleagues do all day? The answer is that they all do NOTHING! Why are Beacon Hill’s state Legislators being paid when they are not doing their jobs for nearly 70 straight days in a row and counting?
Governor Charlie Baker’s revised fiscal year 2021 Massachusetts state budget proposal, which is over 3.5-months late and counting), has 118 policy riders, and his $171 million assistance initiative or homelessness, rent, and foreclosure diversion program is being called insufficient to meet low income and no income people’s needs to prevent a housing crisis. The Boston Statehouse leaders are leaving it to Governor Baker and the over-worked state Courts to deal with the Commonwealth’s eviction crisis.
The people of Massachusetts want the eviction and foreclosure moratorium in place until one year after the COVID-19 state of emergency ends, freeze rent during that time and create a fund to help distressed small landlords. The Boston state Legislature is allowing Governor Baker to unilaterally enact the expiration of Massachusetts’ moratorium on evictions and foreclosures this weekend.
These are life and death policy decisions. The only person doing anything is Governor Charlie Baker. The Boston state Legislature is doing nothing. What happened to our Democracy? This is a political nightmare!
