DEMOCRATS TWISTING IN THE WIND and PANICKING AT TWIN SPENDING CRISES

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY SEPT. 27, 2021) — The Dems are in a dither. The Republicans are loving it. A financial crisis looms.

Other than that, not much is happening on Capitol Hill.

Seems as if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, ignoring the pleas of the Squad and others in the Loon Left of the party, will go ahead and allow a vote on the bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure spending bill as early as today. For the extreme left, Pelosi’s move has triggered the panic button.

Democrat extremists want to hold off voting on the infrastructure bill. They’re afraid it might pass because it’s one of those rare spending packages that have support of both parties. The Squad and squatters want to use the bill as ransom for the $3.5 trillion expansion of the social services “safety net.” The unprecedented spending would reward the “gimme groups,” penalize businesses and investors with ruinous taxes, and put more squeeze on the bedraggled middle class.

In tying infrastructure bill with the “gimme giveaway” measure, the Libs hope to force centrist Democrats and Republicans to vote for both instead of ditching the former.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer warns that if the radical Dems succeed in linking the two bills and the $4.5 trillion spending, it could not only doom both but also cause an irreparable split in the party.

———- ooo ———-

All this comes as the House wants to raise the debt ceiling yet again to keep the government going. Raising the debt limit will allow the U.S. treasury to borrow more, adding to the already inconceivable $28.43 trillion the country owes. That translates to $86,000 for every American citizen. It’s a classic Hobson’s choice (and we don’t mean Butch): Either borrow more money and increase the debt, or hold the limit on debt and face the economic consequences, not the least of which would be defaulting on loans.

Without the OK for more debt, Treasury cannot issue new bonds. In early August, it began what it calls “cash conservation.” When Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski utilize “cash conservation,” you have to respect that since it’s the only way they can keep their heads above water month-to-month. When Big Government employs the phrase, it loves the words that don’t match the actions.

This program allows the government to pay its bills without having to issue new debt. Obviously, the emergency program doesn’t bode well the the country’s economic structure, and it has a short shelf life, due to expire on Sept. 30, when the national fiscal year ends. Without more borrowing, Treasury has enough dough to last until early November.

———- ooo ———-

Floating the government has just three more days left after today. After that?

You don’t want to know, but THE PLANET must tell you.

The Treasury will implement what it calls “debt issue suspension.” That’s newspeak for:

  • No longer paying interest on the national debt. Look at the amounts for FY21 (source U.S. Treasury)
  • Interest Expense Fiscal Year 2021
    August $57,718,583,454.58
    July $47,815,052,504.07
    June $99,289,765,532.86
    May $45,713,674,667.12
    April $45,537,476,232.37
    March $36,639,451,155.48
    February $32,282,366,545.36
    January $27,265,863,758.68
    December $79,625,002,154.42
    November $32,743,751,593.03
    October $20,075,658,453.93
    Fiscal Year Total $524,706,646,051.90
  • Stopping Social Security payments and pensions to public workers
  • Halting Medicare payments and Medicaid contributions
  • Freezing military spending.

Under “debt issues suspension,” these payments simple cease.

THE PLANET doesn’t have to play out the consequences.

Will this happen.

THE PLANET says no, because it can’t. At the last minute, watch. There will be a temporary reprieve.

To be sure, partisan politics at its worst have been riding this drama since Syracuse Joe took office and the Democrats got control of the White House, the House of Reps, and the Senate. They didn’t heed to old advice of being careful about your wishes.

To act before Sept. 30 and given how slim the majorities are, Dems need the GOP’s help, but Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says forget it. McConnell told Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer not to count on Republican help, saying, in effect, “Hey, you guys control both houses. It’s up to you to find the votes. Not my problem, man.”

Your Government At Work.!

Result: Yet another standoff and an inevitable showdown, with partisan bickering at a zenith.

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET predicts that come Friday, Oct. 1, the warring parties will have hammered out a deal, citing historical precedent. In the past 98 years, Congress has raised the debt ceiling 80 times. What’s one more?

But at what cost this time around? And how can it responsibly done with Syracuse Joe Biden’s proposed new spending that will cost $4.5 trillion at minimum, with an actual cost estimated at $6.5T.?

That, dear friends, you’ll never find out. The actual deal-cutting will never be revealed.

It will be steep, however, and one way or another, the Kapanskis will continue to be keel-hauled, the U.S. will continue its decline, and China will step closer to the crown of World No. 1 Superpower.

Hail Xi.

Inflation.

To Wall Street and the Swamp, federal spending, deficits, and the nearly $30 trillion U.S. national debt is really only a casino-like financial shell game where the rich and powerful move huge sums of money around – most of the money only exists on the Federal Reserve’s computer screens – faster than Matt Kerwood can shuffle around all of the tens of millions of dollars in “Kold Kapan$ki Ka$h” that Mayor Linda Tyer is sitting on. Big Business and Big Government finances are nothing more than a strategy in a financial shell game to make our economically unequal financial system appear stable when it is all really just a facade that hides a corrupt casino where the American People are really only an insurance policy to be cashed in by the Elites in a rigged political and financial system. We no longer live in a capitalist economic system, but rather we live in a corrupt casino-like financial system whose method is Class Warfare where the rich win no matter what happens, and the working class families feel lucky to tread water, and the underclass grows excessively larger and larger as the years pass by. In closing and to be clear, Wall Street and the Swamp are both PREDATORY institutions that are systemically screwing over the American People!

Anyone know how much Pittsfields debt is these days? Dan used to keep track of it when it was super scary high. Wunner if Mr Pete, who goes along joyously with each tax increase, ever talks about such things. I doubt Kerwood is allowed to speak to anyone about the cities finances for fear that some bozo might bring up forensic audits or other nefarious oversight practices that are commonly used in many municipalities but frowned upon by this administration.
Sometime folk wonder which local banks are getting all the interest on Pittsfield’s burgeoning debt. Nobody wants to discuss that either but Pete might know since he is in that sort of business.

This is always great theater when the government gets all the citizens worked up because they can’t do the job they were hired to do. Why can’t politicians just stay focused on the business of running the government instead of trying to be the bully in the sandbox. Work together and remember the people depend on you, no matter if it’s city, state or federal, to act in the best interests of the people who elected you.

Pelosi might as well stand before the country and tear up the constitution with that devious grin on her face if these disastrous bills were to pass. I just heard that the vote has been postponed for today because she doesn’t have the votes she thought she had. She and Chucky will be strong arming people for the rest of the week to get what they want. It’s for the women and children don’t you know? Just like the game the politicians play here in Pittsfield, everything is for the children. What about the people on fixed incomes? Oh, big government will take care of them. Translation: Big government will take care of you, but you will live at a much lower standard of living than you do now. Everyone will be equal, equally miserable. Prices of everything will be sky high.

Speaking of pretending to being responsible with taxpayers money from any of the politicians.
Instead of importing millions of illegals, let’s start exporting millions of welfare dependents back to their home countries.
$138,000,000,000.00 of taxpayers money spent last year on illegals. Also don’t forget billions of taxpayers money sent to these countries in aid where they are coming from.
With illegal immigration up 300% this year just think of the cost! That’s money that could have been spent on our own
citizens.

Many years ago, I had a physics prof at North Adams State, tell the class that the Berkshires only gets about 38% sunshine in a given year. Unless your a major league baseball hitter, a 62% failure rate is not viable. And if “climate change,” is as horrible as the democRATS say it is, wouldn’t that number (38%) be less now?

**Plus, if the “leaders” of Tyerville have anything to do with a project of this magnitude, the failure rate increases dramatically. It could be around the Mendoza line.

In FL or AZ, sure, but not here in the Berkshires.

Absolutely. And the thieves with guns know the dealers have money and dope. If this nonsense ever passed federal law, I’d give it less than one year, before the first shooting took place in close proximity.

Another thing Wrong Way fails to factor in, the studies she keeps referencing are from Canada and Europe. America has a lot more guns, both legal and illegal, than both of those places combined. Not to mention, the leading cause of death of a black male 16-35, is another black male…..oops, sorry. I know that doesn’t fit the narrative. Facts that is.

This isn’t Harrington’s idea. The pro-drug district attorneys are funded by billionaire George Soros. Even though Harrington may not have taken funds from him or his causes directly they provide the cash for progressive DAs and their ideas around drug use. Injection centers aka tax payer funded drug use is something they have been pushing for years with limited success. They can’t get around the problem of heroin, meth etc being illegal federally, as you point out. The bigger problem is defending against the fact that drug injection centers make it easier to do more and more drugs in higher doses. This is not treatment. Ultimately the goal is “normalization” and then legalization of all drugs. It’s too bad Harrington won’t talk to the media so they can ask her about it.

Candidate for At-Large Pittsfield City Council Craig Benoit explains his reasons for running for elected office in Pittsfield Massachusetts:

Mayor Linda Tyer is going to spend $40 million in stimulus cash, but she still charges small businesses full price in city fees after they were shut down during the Covid-19 pandemic. Mayor Linda Tyer’s order to shut down local restaurants was the only city/town in Massachusetts to do so, and restaurant owners had no contact with her about it. Small businesses and citizens have a difficult time trying to communicate with Mayor Linda Tyer. It is tougher to do business in Pittsfield than other communities. Pittsfield politics is getting stagnant and needs new elected officials to change the way city government does its business.

That’s Carver’s next project if he can get $100,000.00 from the CPA and a TIE from the city. The rent at Hess Forest tiny house will only be an affordable $2,500.00 a month but only if he gets the money from the city

If true that Hess property is already in some local millionare developers hands just like the fire station deal done behind the scenes. If it is a clean property there is no way Johnny regular guy can out bid the connected guy who is going to get tax breaks and free sewer hookups. Unless of course the property is toxic and another of Pittsfield chemical dlumps like the one on outer West Housatonic.

What are some of the things in the monstrosity bills that Pelosi and the far left wants to pass? The bills are twice the size of the Bible so that nobody will ever really know everything that’s in them except for friends of friends of Pelosi who have so much tucked away from themselves. Billions for electric cars for the government which Pelosi is privately investing in to make herself even wealthier. Isn’t that illegal? Oh, that’s right, the law has a different meaning for them. The average person will not be able to afford electric cars, but most of us will be on public transportation. Billions to the IRS so they become the enforcement arm of the far left. The banking industry and the government will also be tracking anybody who puts more than $600.00 in their banking account at any time. Just these few items that are in the bill are a threat to our freedom in this country, but the bills are massive. Yet, Pelosi will have us believe it’s all for the children.

Please do not refer to the left as liberal. The origin of liberal is the Latin word liber which means free. There is nothing the left wishes to destroy more than freedom, personal liberties.
Call them what they are;
marxist.

Released, no bail. Another fail for the DA, didn’t have the evidence apparently. “Priortizing” when you can’t prove the case doesn’t mean squat.

Great Barrington residential school staffer charged with the forcible rape of a girl
GREAT BARRINGTON — An employee of a residential school for girls with severe behavioral and psychiatric issues is accused of forcibly raping a girl multiple times. School employees and police say they have seen the alleged abuse on surveillance video.
Douglas Agyeh, 41, of Pittsfield, was arraigned Sept. 16 in Southern Berkshire District Court in connection with the rape of a student who is under the age of 16 at Brookside Intensive Treatment Unit in late August and early SeptemberAgyeh is charged with one count each of rape of a child with force and aggravated statutory rape.
The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office moved for a dangerousness hearing, and Judge John McKenna released Agyeh on the condition that he surrender his passport, stay away from the alleged victim and the school and have no unsupervised visits with a child under the age of 18. McKenna set a pretrial hearing date for Nov. 8.

He fits Wrong Way’s agenda. No bail is needed. Only white males who commit non-violet, offenses get punished to the full extent of Wrong Way’s office.

Just use the black female, who created panic and fear, at Simon’s Rock College, as a reference. She committed multiple felony offenses and wasted tax-payers money, nothing happened to her.

It’s not like the Woman set a few hay bales on fire. Progressives like to cherry pick the laws they want to enforce.

Harrington should fire herself and most of her staff if she cares anything for victims. A brutal rape of a teen girl has gone unanswered on her watch. What a disgrace to that office and it’s all her fault for faking her way into the job.

I’ll flat out say it.. the minorities complained that resource officers instilled fear and were racist, yet all we see are minorities having fights daily.

Makes perfect sense when you think about it
