PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY JAN. 31, 2022) — On this last day of January, allow us some housekeeping as we clean out the garage of a few bit-sized items:

  • GENDER-EQUAL PLOWING — We kid you not. With this weekend’s snow, Boston plow jockeys are boiling. Seems that new mayor Michelle Wu has installed a new system of plowing called. Her new chief of staff, Tiffany Wu, said the new DPW plan would be “Equity Plowing.” We kid you not. “It’s about snow plowing, and the concept can be sexist. And the answer is ‘yes’ wholeheartedly: [a] gender-equal plowing strategy.” Which is what, exactly?
  • Chu explains: “Clear pedestrian cycle lanes first, especially near schools and day-care centers, and then, later on, major streets.” Why? Because, Chu explains, drivers on main roads are mainly white men. Some topics defy comment. Their sheer idiocy speaks for itself. Probably be just a matter of time before Gender-Equity Plowing comes to Pittsfield. Bike lanes first, the rest of the city later. Mayor Wu’s phone melted in her hands with hot calls from irate residents.
  • PLOWGATE — In Pittsfield, the snow jockeys had the time of their lives, fighting bump-outs, rotaries, traffic comes and barrels left out in the street, parked cars, obstacles placed in the road because of bike lanes. THE PLANET heard from one private contractor: “I’m scratching my head over the city’s plan for the roads. There seems to be little coordination. I do my best. I even try to raise the plow if I’m passing someone’s driveway, but I know of a couple [contractors] that are using salt from the city to do private work.”
  • My Plow Guy said the city could easily find out who was cheating and who’s not, but there’s no interest, apparently, in accountability. “I just do my routes the best I can.” Idle thought. Was mayor Tyer out with the crews supervising? Fortunately, The Berkshires got off lightly, with, what three to four inches of snow?
  • RICKY’S RUMUS REDUX — THE PLANET wonders: If the city’s inefficient snow-removal plan just and extension of the wildly popular Ricky’s Rumpus, Pittsfield’s version of “Squid Games” that debuted at the wonderful, new Tyler Street/Woodlawn rotary? We invite Ricardo Morales to comment.
  • WIN FOR VOTING SECURITY — News item, from MSN: “A Pennsylvania court on Friday struck down Act 77, the law that established no-excuse mail voting in Pennsylvania, saying it violated the state Constitution. The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court said the state’s constitution requires votes to be cast in-person unless voters meet certain requirements. The ruling will likely be appealed to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which leans Democratic.”COMMENT
  • YOU CAN’T MAKE IT UP, PT. 2 — D.A. birthday post, share with THE PLANET by one of the county’s top legal minds, with the comment: You can’t make this sort of shameless self-promotion up: Andrea Harrington posted: “I share my birthday with the day Auschwitz was liberated. We can never forget the horror of the Holocaust and that regular people allowed it to happen. This is a day to recommit to standing against hate and to be vigilant demanding accountability for anti Semitism.” Tone deaf and clueless in 1,0001 ways.
  • MMA? MAMA MIA– Congratulation to mayor Linda Tyer on her ascendancy to head of the Massachusetts Mayors Association. We think. At one time, the MMA may have served a tangible purpose. Those days are long gone. Today, the MMA is largely a group of 47 hizzoners who gather every full moon when the wolfbane is in bloom, keep their eyes peeled for Lawrence Talbot, and pat themselves on the back for the great job they’re doing. Tyer says she’s going to be talking up Pittsfield. Wonder what parts she will leave out? From what we hear, the city is still “vibrant and dynamic.”

THE PLANET, as always, welcomes your views on these topics and others of your choosing. Try to CONTRIBUTE to the discussion, eh?

I am sure Andrea Harrington was being sincere with her birthday tweet honoring International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
I am sure Linda Tyer will do well with her one-year term as President of the Massachusetts Mayors’ Association.
I am proud of Michelle Wu for serving as the first elected woman Mayor of Boston.
I support voting rights laws that will ensure all eligible American Citizens are able to vote in local, state and federal elections.
I am not surprised by Smitty Pignatelli’s UNDEMOCRATIC vote last week against voting rights laws in Boston. To see Smitty’s vote, please click on the following link:

Lastly, I wish to publicly thank Tom Brady for bringing his talents to the New England Patriots and the 6 championship rings he won for our home football team.

I bought a dozen eggs yesterday and there were only nine. Nine is the new dozen. In 1940 just before WW11 a dozen was 13. You needed an abacus to count them all back then. Even if you buy one and get one free you may not have enough to make enough omelets for everyone who shows up at your barbecue.
There is a moral to this story but I am not currently allowed to reveal it.

That’s because the Democraps and Rinos don’t give a rat’s azz about Americans.

Democrats see criminal as potential legal voters in the future, or as current illegal voters, the coup nov 3-4th 2020 showed that.

Rinos see these criminals as cheap labor.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady has announced his plan to retire from the NFL to spend more time carving little wooden toys for his grandkids. In response to the earth-shattering news, President Joe Biden has announced his commitment to replace the outgoing football star with a woman of color.

“Listen, folks, it’s time,” said Biden to the press. “In the hundred-year history of the NFL, not a single quarterback has ever been a woman of color. That’s racist! We all know that poor women are just as smart and powerful as white kids. As president, I will nominate a new quarterback to replace Tom Brady that reflects America’s diversity.”
When told he doesn’t have the authority to nominate quarterbacks to the NFL, Biden told his staff he would just sign the executive order and let the courts deal with it later.
“There’s no excuse,” said Biden. When I used to play Nine Pins with Jehoshaphat Jenkins and the townsfolk, we always used to let the black women play with us. I was a civil rights hero, darn it! It’s time for the rest of the world to catch up!”
So far, candidates being considered for the empty position include Michelle Obama, Tyler Perry, and Colin Kaepernick in a woman’s wig.

As part of a bold new marketing strategy to promote inclusivity and appeal to less than 1% of the population, Mars, Incorporated has introduced a new M&M character who identifies as a Skittle.

When I played backup QB to Doug Flutie in the CFL back in the 90s it was in our contracts that no wood carving was allowed. Apparently, unknown to even the most ardent fans, George Blanda’s QB career was literally cut short when he sliced the thumb off his passing hand while carving a wooden Indian for his front porch. But since he still had all his toes he was allowed to kick field goals until he was 48 years old when he retired, making a small fraction of what Brady gets to do one commercial.

Wondering if our intelligent leaders will really implement fair and legal voting legislation that insures one vote for all that can legally vote. One where you must show up in person and show a legal ID. One where states check voting rolls of each other so someone can’t vote in 2 or more states. One where counting is done out in the open for all to see. Let’s see if our leaders can make sure everything is done legally without the chance of cheating. Do you believe our leaders will make sure of this? Or will they succumb to the vested interest?

Like Sybil, I have multiple personalities and am allowed (in Massachusetts anyway) to vote once for each of them as each of them is registered independently. On more than one occasion I have voted against myself thereby nullifying votes and wasting gasoline going back and forth to the polls. But all of them did vote for Biden because though all of them have issues none of them was insane enough to vote for Trump.

Trump received many more votes than he did in 2020. His support increased from voters. Who knows how many more he received that weren’t counted. The mail-in ballots, allowing voting to go on for days after the election, and last minute changes in voting laws in Democratic states, gave Biden the advantage.

Read the book Rigged by Mollie Hemmingway:

“It was a devastating triple punch. Capping their four-year campaign to destroy the Trump presidency, the media portrayed a Democratic victory as necessary and inevitable. Big Tech, wielding unprecedented powers, vaporized dissent and erased damning reports about the Biden family’s corruption. And Democratic operatives, exploiting a public health crisis, shamelessly manipulated the voting process itself. Silenced and subjected, the American people lost their faith in the system.”

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the new Supreme Court vacancy resulting from Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement:
Justice Breyer’s surprise retirement seems to have been the result of an unprecedented leftist pressure campaign to force him from the Supreme Court before this year’s election. You can be sure these same radical leftists, who also want to pack the Supreme Court, will require Biden to pick a judicial extremist to replace Justice Breyer. Let me be clear: the Left will use this opportunity to further undermine the integrity of the Supreme Court and the rule of law.
Disturbingly, President Biden seems to have confirmed that he will refuse to consider potential nominees simply because of their race and sex. The Senate must not only reject Biden’s invidious discrimination but must also ensure no nominee moves forward who wants to further politicize the Supreme Court by legislating from the bench.

The elderly are fighting back against people walking into stores and taking whatever they want without paying for it. It’s dangerous for them to approach these people, but they believe that one of the reasons prices are so high is that so many people are looting stores of merchandise and the elderly can barely afford to buy groceries. This elderly woman attacks this looter at great risk to herself.

In between insulting the Jewish community and awaiting her friend DA Mosby’s indictment, Andrea Harrington is busy advocating for the pet project of her supporter TFB on the rights of undocumenteds to have a driver’s license. How do you document someone and give them a passport to a lot of things in America based on who they say they are? How do we know they’re not wanted for crimes around the world? Let’s make our own laws about entering the country. Wrong Way, “We got this,” once again, unable to have an independent thought, playing politics and just incapable of staying in her own lane.

This has absolutely nothing to do with drivers licenses. It’s all about making sure these illegals have ID’s so they can vote. No more, no less.

Like I said on the last post, I’m shocked Tricia Farley Country-Buffet (D), did not launch this bill on September 11th.

And did I call it, in their flyer about how great this bill is, it states that it will allow, “families to take their children to appointments.” Of course, it’s “for the kids.” No mention of how they manage now to get their kids to appointments. Will they be required to post SR-22’s or proof of vehicle insurance first?

I ask out of concern for my kids. I’d rather spend my hard earned money on them and not insurance deductibles to cover for the uninsured drivers that TFCB doesn’t seem to care about who they run into. You know, you, her constituents.
