PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION MAY 27-9, 2022) —  For The Weekend Edition, THE PLANET had promised our latest findings on Scootergate, which may be yet Flat Tyer’s political undoing, but when the slaughter of the innocents in Uvalde, TX, slammed in descending gloom, we reconsidered.

And then we reevaluated our reconsideration. For this propensity toward mass shootings, we have no solutions, no words to offer, no deep analysis. There’s just nothing more to say, for there is a time when words can only make a mockery of something as tragic as this — 19 schoolchildren, most of them in 4th grade, robbed of their futures along with two teachers, and for what? It’s beyond heartbreaking. We decided that the best thing to do is carry on and not let one sane, responsible, and dead 18-year-old upset this tiny corner of the world.

We spit in his face by giving the goods on Scootergate.

The one-line conclusion, based on both the evidence and the missing evidence: Flat Tyer, Ricky’s Rumpus, Deanna Ruffer, and others involved in this rigged game are hiding something. Just what remains to be seen — up and up or down and down — but when tracing back suspected scandals, as proven by THE PLANET‘s career investigating political corruption, we have found one reliable guideline: Follow the money. Does it apply here?

  • Who’s making (and who had made) what on this deal?
  • Is it a money laundering scheme? Is it totally legit?
  • Has the simply suffered from innocent stupidity in a program that never should have begun, or is there something much more nefarious happening?
  • Have unspoken promises involved certain monetary exchanges?

Questions without answers, and citizens need answers. More Kapanski Kash is at risk.

The mayor’s silence as well as Ricky’s nonresponse has only fanned the flames of conjecture.

We don’t know definitively, but the city’s actions in placing a shroud of secrecy over the details of Scootergate give one reasonable cause to believe this is the they’re covering up scandal. Otherwise, why not just come clean with information?

———- ooo ———-

As we wrote on May 10, wherein we revealed the shoddy “contract” (actually, a memo of agreement between Bird scooters and the city, not legally binding), a Freedom of Information request was filed wanting all documents and records involving Bird, the municipality, and any persons involved in the deal.

Through our network spies and Z-Agents, THE PLANET has obtained the city’s non-reply reply.

On May 23, Maura Ennis, Pittsfield’s IT support specialist II, wrote to person who made the FOI request. (S)he wishes to remain anonymous: “We’ve completed your City Of Pittsfield records request. Please use the following link to access the files that were returned by your records request.”

Notice the passive voice, which hides the identities of city personnel who provided the information to Ennis. Her response included a file labeled “Folder 05-09-2022-Graver-Bird shared using Egnyte pittsfield.egnyte.com.”

The file includes an e-mail sent Sept. 21, 2021, from one Fabrizio Rodriguez to (you holding your breath?) Deanna Ruffer. We sensed she had her grubby mitts somewhere in the Bird deal. The subject line reads: “Deanna-2021 Pittsfield Planning.” And who is Fabrizio Rodriguez? Our investigation shows he’s based out of Boston and works at Bird as business development representative. The text reads:

Hi Deanna,

Bird is interested in bringing our scooter business to Pittsfield in 2021.

Are you available Wednesday or Thursday to talk about the program and see if we’re a good fit?

Looking forward to speaking further.

Best,

Fabrizio.

There are no other responses to this email, from Ruffer or anyone else? What, we are expected to believe she or someone acting on her behalf never responded, even though Bird got the deal? Of course there likely was a response, so where is it? Or was the reset of the deal done orally, with no notes of documentation available. That would be illegal, yeah?

Yes, and Fabrizio Rodriguez, who works for Bird, just happens to contact Ruffer out of the blue. There are zero emails after this one from her back to him or from him. We are asked to believe this is the extent of the communication. After this lone appearance, Ruffer disappears. Hmmmmmm.

The second email in the city’s response to the FOI request is dated April 28, 2022, from Ricardo Morales, Ricky’s Rumpus, to someone only identified as rbrien@downtownpittsfield.com. Subject: Bird 2021-City Proposal – Pittsfield MA (002).pdf[.] Attachments: Bird 2021 City Proposal – Pittsfield MA (002.pdf)[.] Rickey responds with all of five words: Please share this with your team.

The city’s FOI information does not included the attachments. Share WHAT with “your team”?

———- ooo ———-

The next message in the file is even more puzzling. It’s dated Feb. 25, 2022. From Morales to jdodds@cityofpittsfield.org and rgrennancityofpittsfield.org. Subject: Bird.

There is no text. Nothing. Nada. Zee Row.  Subject: Bird.

  • There is no proposal.
  • The original email from Bird to the city is not included.
  • There is nothing from the mayor at all anywhere in the city’s response.
  • Responses to the media would seem to have gone unanswered, because no responses are included.
  • There isn’t even one single email from Tyer to anyone, inside or outside the city. We are expected to believe she didn’t type a single word to anyone on Scootergate.

Bottom line to the FOI request: The city does not provide most of the material requested. Label the city as “non-responsive.”

  • Emails and communication do not include the response of staff and the people who received emails.
  • There were no emails to or from city treasurer Matt “Kufflinks” Kerwood on how city money from the Bird deal would be received and used. There’s money being exchanged, but Kufflinks does not make an appearance in the city’s meager data dump.
  • Only a few emails from city councilors to city staff. No responses from city personnel.
  • Though there were emails sent by citizens to councilors about the scooters, no emails or responses were included.
  • There are no emails, communications, police logs from the Pittsfield Police Department regarding Bird scooters.
  • There are no emails from anyone in the city dealing with citizen complaints over use of the scooters. There are “at least four documented” conmplaints. They should have been included in the city’s response, along with the city’s answers.
  • There are no responses from city employees to questions sent in by the local media.
  • There are NO COPIES of any of Tyer’s office emails, notes, or her staff emails regarding Bird scooters.
  • The mayor’s press release was not even included.

Yet, all of this information was requested.

———- ooo ———-

Bottom Line: The city of Pittsfield sent back a non-responsive “response” to the FOI request on Bird scooters. The state Secretary of State has a 90-day appeal period. THE PLANET has learned that the city response will be appealed to that office.

Meanwhile, if there are any whistleblowers working for the city or not who have pertinent information, THE PLANET urges to come forward and share what they know. They may do so with us, with all names and identities protected.

Scootergate has a major flat tire. The buck and the free ride stop with Flat Tyer. Best advice for her is to come clean on what’s going on with this program before the cleaners come to her. If all is legit, what’s the problem?

Have a great Memorial Day weekend, everybody.

Good article Dan. Pittsfield is historically known to not follow the rules or laws. How many committee’s and groups meet without following state law? How many committees have been stuffed with chosen yes people instead of citizens willing to investigate and vote for the Kapanski’s? Where is the city council when you need them?

My guess is that Flat Tyer is going to take the same approach with Bird that she did when she contracted for the city to take in the infected homeless from Eastern MA and house them here in a covid hotel without informing the Kapanski’s, when she just up and left town before we figured it out.
We only found out when our downtown was overrun with hundreds of homeless people, and the problems that we all know arose from that.
Once we began to catch on, and realized that Boston did what it has done to Western MA. for decades, and dumped on us people in need of services with no return tickets to their point of origin, Flat Tyer showed such depth of compassion and empathy for both the Kapanski’s and our out of town visitors that she decided to put on her magic show for us!
How thoughtful to bring her talent to the hoi polloi, almost as good as when the movie studios during the Great Depression produced big musicals to entertain distraught America.
Sadly, Flat Tyer only knows two magic acts, and they are both disappearing acts.
I ran across the flyer for Flat Tyer’s magic show blown into the corner tucked in behind the nip bottles and cigarette butts and one used syringe and in the deep recessed entryway tof the former Jim’s House of Shoes. I recreated it for you below.
The Flat Tyer Magic Co. Presents
Act One: Now you see her, now you don’t!
Act Two: The Disappearing Coin!
Not only does she do disappearing acts, The Flat Tyer Magic Co. also dabbles in illusion!
We here in Pittsfield have the privilege of watching the work in progress that may be the greatest illusion ever performed: The Vanishing Downtown.
It’s Vibrant!!!
It’s DYNAMIC!!!
It’s Dastardly!
Watch the THRILLS of Ricky’s Rumpus!

See 28 horses, FROZEN IN TIME!!!!!

Peter Marchetti, spokesperson for the city council, should address this first thing at the next council meeting. Unless of course the mayor gives him those glaring eyes and he shrinks under his bed with the dust bunnies.
But seriously, there has to be at least 50 people associated with the scooter thing so is it possible for the mayor to zip them ALL up? The mayor pretty much said the Morales brought this scooter program in all by himself after seeing it in other cities. I rather doubt that is true but if so HE must know what is going on. And if so, as a public employee, can he just totally clam up?

And isn’t it rather glaring and telling how the local paper, which wins all kinds of awards for its mundane articles, does not find scootergate at all worthy of a story?

There has to be one conscientious city worker who can leak what is going on in this city. How about Pete White? All this secrecy must bother him as he believes in open honest government. Right?

Wow Dan this is a great story. Thanks to the person requesting the FOI, as the city’s lack of response verifies that this is a big deal. Maybe the state Ethics Board should also be contacted in regards to the city not providing all of the requested data under the FOI.

Yah, I am thinking if the state ethics people have not shown up in Pittsfield yet they are not coming. Might be part of the crew. There are no life boats for the residents of Pittsfield and my guess is that it is by design. Which is why I so often encourage people to check out their ptions of other cities or town in which to reside.

Cops/LEO are not the answer, They dropped the ball again just like Parkland.

SOTUS has ruled LEO “has no duty to protect……”.

Yet liberals are now calling for “gun-control” ,taking firearms from law abiding Americans, for the actions of a deviant pervert.

Who financed the weapons used in this atrocity? This whole thing stinks more the more you find out about it. It seems the MSM fed a bunch of lies to the public, which they are so adept at.

https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-mother-trying-to-save-children-at-uvalde-was-handcuffed-by-federal-marshals

“After it was revealed on Thursday that not only did police delay their response to sending tactical teams into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Tex. amid a school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead but prevented parents from entering, the Wall Street Journal reported that one mother sprinted into the school to get her children, over objections from law enforcement.

Angeli Rose Gomez drove 40 miles to the school upon hearing of the shooting, and she arrived, said “The police were doing nothing. They were just standing outside the fence. They weren’t going in there or running anywhere.”

While state officials said that police were at the school mere moments after the teen gunman entered the school, barricading himself in a classroom and opening fire on young students, they also said that officers were unable to gain access to the classroom.
Gomez said that she was only one of several parents at the school demanding that officers stop waiting around and go into the school. It was then that “federal marshals approached her and put her in handcuffs,” the Journal reports.

The marshals told her she was being arrested for “intervening in an active investigation.” Gomez was able to convince local law enforcement to free her, but said she also saw a father pepper-sprayed, and another tackled and thrown to the ground by law enforcement as he tried to go to the school. His 10-year-old daughter was massacred in the slaughter.
Once freed, Gomez moved away from the crowd, broke into a run, jumped a fence, and ran inside to rescue her children. “She sprinted out of the school with them,” the Journal reports.
The shooter had 40 minutes to an hour before law enforcement went in to neutralize him. He was eventually shot and killed by a border patrol agent who also sustained injuries.
Reports on social media showed footage of other parents trying to urge law enforcement to act, and to try to get into the school themselves. Police kept parents out.

A woman in one clip can be heard yelling “Shoot him or something!”
A man can be heard to say “They’re all just f*cking parked outside, dude. They need to go in there.”
Police had set up a perimeter around the building while the shooter was actively massacring small children.
Children who were in the school at the time and survived the shooting recounted their own stories of horror. One boy hid under a table-clothed table while the shooter killed children in their class. A young girl heard the shooter say “What do I have here?” as he opened the classroom door and began firing.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.”

That depraved LGBTQA baby murdering freak should have been committed to a locked psychiatric facility for the criminally insane before it was allowed to murder a classroom full of innocent children. But instead, these freaks are unleased on the public with public celebration. Berkshire Pride Festival and Parade will be held on June 4, 2022 at the Common Park. CANCEL THIS PUBLIC SHIT SHOW. STOP CELEBRATING THE DEPRAVED AND THEIR INSANITY! The world was much more sane when these depraved freaks were hidden away in the closet, best kept LOCKED.

When I was growing up I didn’t know a single boy who dressed up in his mother’s bra and panties, and every home had unsecured guns, several unsecured weapons of mass destruction. Many of them sharing the same room with fully stocked open bars of liquor, and no one went on a murdering rampage. In my normal dysfunctional suburban neighborhood moms were born female with her own vagina, and dads were born male with their own penis. And there was one of each of them in most of the homes in my normal dysfunctional neighborhood. There was alcoholism, and infidelity, husbands beat their wives, and wives beat their husbands and one or both parents beat their kids in my normal dysfunctional suburban neighborhood where EVERY man, woman and child had access to loaded unsecured weapons of mass destruction. There were alcohol fueled weekend backyard cook-outs, memorial day picnics, 4th of July picnics, with lots of alcohol, dangerous fireworks, and target practice with loaded guns, and labor day picnics. And there were schoolyard fist fights and lots of bullying, and no one got killed by gun fire. And EVERYONE had access to unsecured GUNS. There was the case of the one angry husband who shot and murdered his wife. That was an isolated incident. Kids did shoot each other with BB guns. Suicide wasn’t an epidemic, and I don’t remember even one elementary school age child committing suicide when I was growing up. No one in my neighborhood murdered their grandma, that I’m aware of. And no one was in foster care in my normal dysfunctional suburban neighborhood. Normal Dysfunctional parents raised their own normal dysfunctional kids, in normal dysfunctional homes with unsecured loaded guns, and just about everyone survived their normal dysfunctional childhood and into their normal dysfunctional adulthood to start the cycle all over again.

The mission of the Pittsfield Police Department is to work in partnership with the community, to protect life and property, and enhance the quality of life in our city. Actually, section #6 in its entirety should be removed. Especially that section on Ethics, Integrity, Sensitivity, and Accountability.

Thank Allah that the BP sent the TV terrorvestiterist on his way to paradise for his reward of 72 eunuchs. Otherwise, the terrorvestiterist would be suing the Texas Prison system for its hormone therapy and its sex change operation. It would be demanding, and it would be getting its own designer vagina, with its unnatural penis god made a mistake giving it, turned into a clitoris. Thus, avoiding remedying gods mistake, all at taxpayer expense. The TV terrorvestiterist got what it deserved, just not soon enough. The BP remedied god’s mistake. A better use of taxpayer $$$$$$$$. As for the police, the highly trained heavily armed militarized paid protectors and servers, who did nothing while one of god’s mistakes massacred a classroom full of children, we can only hope they get what they deserve, sooner, than later.

I’m going down memory lane again. I went to a small suburban elementary school with doors in every classroom that opened to the backyard/playground. If the weather permitted, these doors were opened all day long and no one walked in and murdered school children for the 6 years I went to that school. Schools weren’t fortresses with metal detectors and armed cops. This was in a neighborhood were every family home, that I remember, had guns, either/or rifles, shotguns and/or handguns, and even crossbows. In many of the family homes the guns were displayed on a rack mounted above the sofa or in GLASS curio/gun cabinets, unlocked, with boxes of ammunition. If there were 12 boys in the classroom, 10 probably had a pocketknife in his pocket, in the classroom. None of the boys ever came to school dressed in a mini skirt. And I really don’t believe any of the boys or girls in the elementary school I went to thought they were born with the wrong anatomy. There was one boy in the neighborhood who was queer. There wasn’t an epidemic of queers in the neighborhood. He was just a very sweet boy, but you knew he wasn’t like the other boys. I always thought he was like the nice man who lived by himself. His lawn was meticulous, and he had the most beautiful flower gardens. He didn’t have a wife, I’m certain he wasn’t a daddy. He wasn’t like any of the daddies who wore suits to work, even though he did. He definitely wasn’t like the daddies who were roofers, carpenters, bricklayers or construction workers. Families went to church every Sunday. Kids went to catechism classes, and confession, repented our sins, did our penance, so that we might have our souls absolved of our past venial sins and ready for the upcoming sins of the new week, none of which included murder. There were a very few weirdo parents in the neighborhood who believed their kids were angels. Parents weren’t perfect, kids weren’t angels, but they weren’t devils either. Children had the concept of right from wrong drilled into their heads, and even then, they didn’t always choose to do the right thing, all the time. Childhood transgressions had disciplinary consequences. Children today are brainwashed into believing that that being raised by same sex couples, of which neither one is biologically connected to the children sentenced to these abnormal environments, single parents, foster homes/state run group homes are the new normal family units, even though none of it is normal. Children are being raised with deviancy, on a perverted Lord of the Flies Island, and brainwashed into believing this is perfectly normal. We’re witnessing the disastrous consequences of all this new normal deviancy.

Harrington is slinging the BS again. A DA that perpetually bends the truth is a DA that should worry the heck out of the Kapanskis. This guy is coming to the OSHER leaning center to plug his new book. Somehow he is magically her mentor coming to kick off her campaign in Great Barrington. Will people really buy this crap?

Dear friends,

Please join me for a special announcement at Town Hall Park, 344 Main Street in Great Barrington this Saturday, May 28th at 3:30pm (rain or shine).

I will be joined by Jamie Raskin. You know Jamie as the Congressman who led the second impeachment of Donald Trump after the Insurrection on the US Capitol, but to me he is “Professor Raskin.” Jamie has become a friend, mentor and inspiration since I had the fortune of learning constitutional law from him over twenty years ago. I am excited to introduce Jamie to my home and for you to experience his kindness and brilliance for yourself.

Jamie shaped my vision for justice which has had a profound effect on Berkshire County. Throughout my time in office I have made it my mission to move our community forward by instituting progressive justice reform to modernize our county’s criminal legal system. I am energized and ready to continue the work to make our community a safer and more inclusive place to live and raise a family.

Serving as District Attorney for the community where I was born and raised has been the honor of my life, and I cannot do it without you! NOW is the time for you to show your support for forward progress that realizes safety and justice for everyone in the home that we love.

Is Raskin is one of the “kapos” at the DC Gitmo/Gulag where Americans have been held in squalid conditions without due process for over a year?

My mistake, he’s one of the Commandants. He makes Goebbels proud.

Apparently, Nipples adheres to the philosophy of it is better to imprison one innocent white male than to lock up a tribe of guilty crack peddling negro pistoleros. DA Harrington is excited to share this good news. Nipples Harrington is the hero of the families of Daniel Gillis, Stephanie Olivieri, Cassandra Brouthers, Jaden Salois, Miquel Estrella, Asiyanna Jones, Ronald Pinel and the other four people shot and injured in the still unsolved Linden Street 4th of July massacre,, Joseph Brown, Paul Henry, the unnamed man shot and injured and his dead dog in the January 2022 Woodlawn Shooting, Keenan s. Pellot Jr., and the other teenager shot and injured on Tyler Street, James Dominquez, the unnamed teenager shot multiple times on Brierwood Lane, Jeric Black, Stephen Curley and the female who was shot and injured, the unnamed 24-year-old shot on May 22, 2022 and suffering from serious injuries in the shooting on Congress Street, the unnamed person shot near the intersection of Elizabeth and Boylston streets on March 30, 2022, the two unnamed people stabbed on Tyler Street in a violent incident on Sept. 16, 2021. But Nipples can’t be the hero of Berkshire County without your support. Justina Wilber and her 3 children, 7-year-old twins and a 3-year-old would thank Nipples for her dedication to cases of ACTUAL REAL domestic violence, but they’re all dead.

Let’s hope the cops get to pocket all of the OVER $3500.00, how much OVER, who knows, because the cops aren’t saying, in untraceable cash the 16-year-old juvenile boy wearing a black ski-mask had stuffed in his pants along with the unlicensed .40 caliber handgun he had when the cops arrested him on May 5, 2022, on Francis Avenue. Or does the DumbASS DA get her cut of these illegal proceeds? What about the MORE THAN $23K and the LARGE CACHE of ILLEGAL DRUGS which included Cocaine, Heroin, various pills and 12 illegal firearms, the Pittsfield cops seized in June 2021. Did the cops keep it all, or did they share it with Nipples?

October 21, 2020
Law enforcement team seizes 13,500 bags of heroin, multiple firearms in Pittsfield

A multi-agency law enforcement team has seized thousands of bags of heroin, several firearms, and thousands of dollars in cash. In the case the cops didn’t even put an about amount. So, no one really knows how much untraceable cash the cops really seized.

Where did all this go?
Pittsfield Man Indicted on Drug, Firearms and Money Laundering Charges – Friday, May 11, 2018

I understand the passion for exposing the city for its constant corruption but this obsession with the scooters is bizarre.

These scooters are modes of transportation in every big city in the country.

Maybe the lack of revealing scandalous info is actually just indicative of the fact that there’s nothing to see here. I enjoy a Pittsfield shakedown as much as the next person, but this isn’t a real controversy.

AutoP: yes.

Fruitloop rollout of this business not proof the business is crooked or bad. I like the idea – convenient self service transportation. They solve many logistical things. E.G.: wife can drop hubby downtown while she goes off to spend afternoon with boyfriend in Stockbridge. Hubby can buy mousetraps and restless leg prescription and use scooter to get home. But – wow, what a roll-out!

Dan: it’s normal for incompetent people to cover up everything once they are being examined. Also, sociopaths are terrible at their sociopathic dreams. They are an incompetent lot but are really obnoxious all around and do more damage to themselves than others. I sense both happening here.

But there does remain the Penguin Theory which is also very plausible. Otter’s Knife makes it the Penguin.

I think people want to know why the rollout involved all the teens and why they were allowed to create dangerous situations on Norths street. If the policy was under 18 why were they encouraged to be out there? It is a miracle no one was killed. (not that we would have found out about it if there was)
And what is this about $2500 being spent for “passes” for their use and where did that money come from?

And what about the contract with the city that some think exposes Pittsfield to damages?

The fact that the mayor made a huge deal of the rollout, but has now closed up like a clam, suggests a story worth hearing. Also because she is super quiet about many things that the public has a right to know. Very suspicious if you ask me.

And the Eagle, who was pushing the Bird scooters rather heavily, seems to have also lost their interest in talking about them. Does that not make you curious?

Thank you Governor Baker for vetoing the illegal immigrants ability to get a drivers license. This has to top the list of idiocy coming from our Democratic controlled legislature. Hopefully, and I know they won’t, but hopefully our State Reps and State Senator come to their senses and vote no on the override. This just opens the state up to more criminals coming here and leeching off of the state resources, committing illegal acts and just making this state worse off. I could understand this if the leaders were church going people wanting to help God’s children but by the votes and laws they have enacted it’s obvious they aren’t in the church going mindset, besides they preach separation of church and state

Good News

Brittany Bernstein
Fri, May 27, 2022, 5:35 PM

Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker on Friday vetoed a bill that would make illegal immigrants eligible to receive state-issued driver’s licenses, though state lawmakers are poised to override the veto.
“I cannot sign this legislation because it requires the Registry of Motor Vehicles to issue state credentials to people without the ability to verify their identity,” Baker wrote in a letter to the state legislature.
The Republican governor added that the RMV “does not have the expertise or ability to verify the validity of many types of documents from other countries,” as the measure would require.

As for Dumpster Diving Earl I would ask how did he become a councilor living in a $400,000.00 house if he was so disadvantaged growing up in Pittsfield? How is it that his father owns a business and his step-mom a supervisor if color was an issue? Councilor Kronick is also correct in saying the budget is bloated and needs to be cut not increased. Thank you for talking to the silent majority of the Kapanski’s.

I actually did not vote against the social worker. I voted against $75,000 stipend without establishing the credentials, scope, and objectives of the position. Also – why would a municipal gov hire a social worker where a liaison with credentialed providers is more fitting?

I had argued that a licensed social worker – stock issued spat like pits from cherries – is worth $45,000 which is not far from the BLS data Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Workers (bls.gov). A social worker that is credentialed for emergency response with police department training is likely worth more. The burden was on the Mayor to make her case and she refused.

The rest is political speech in the form of money and I call it very poor management. I understand some are upset, and they are free to insult and yell. Their intention is not to persuade, however, but to make others fear speaking their minds, and I also hold as a principle not to cower from that behavior.

If you somehow believe that promoting cops, thus increasing their pay, makes them better cops, you’re wrong. I don’t remember the year, but wynn did assign cops to downtown foot patrols. To the best of my recollection, wynn covered this with overtime. And it wasn’t just any cop assign to this overtime. I actually witnessed a lieutenant assigned to this lucrative overtime, on overtime duty, sitting at Burger King drinking coffee more than once. But I can happily say that he didn’t get to enjoy his lucrative overtime pay for long enough.

I don’t argue that numbers make quality – you are correct to make that challenge. I mean – a deployment of police ought to have a commanding officer present to arbitrate the response.

I wonder about the term ‘trigger happy’ – what exactly does that describe? Do we have officers suffering from trauma, post war trauma, work induced trauma? Aren’t these valid questions too?

By the way, who were the city councilors who voted NOT to use free cash to lower the tax rate? And isn’t it mind blowing that using one million dollars free cash would have so little effect? There are mental health/substance abuse services all over the city. They’re not only located in the ghettos of Pittsfield, but they’ve also infiltrated quiet suburban neighborhoods. Half-way houses for junkies, clean and sober houses for crackheads and drunks, groups homes for the unwanted kids of junkies, crackwhores, drunks and the psychotics. Many of the staff, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s not all of them, are themselves, from one or more of the following categories, foster kids, junkies, drunks, crackheads, crackwhores and psychotics, with their own personal histories of mental illness. All, of course, have recovered from their afflictions.

Current City Council News – Charles Ivar Kronick, City Councilor, Ward 2

This comment is written in the style of ‘speak bitterness’ which was introduced by the Chinese Communist Party in the 1950’s. Party leaders would assemble crowds where renters publicly accuse and castigate landlords. The assaults were moderated by these leaders. Ultimately, the intention of course, was to encourage castigation and reprimands of neighbors and within the home to instill universal fear, caution, and silence.

More press release spin to deceive us courtesy Andrea Harrington. Laquan Johnson was out of jail and free to shoot up our community and murder again because Harrington’s office failed to put a case together and properly get witnesses to court. That’s her job. Anthony Gamache is dead and his family gets no justice because of Andrea Harrington. Stephan Curleys murder happened as a direct result of Andrea Harrington’s incompetence. Now she’s trying to blame the judge and play tough on crime.

I saw that BS on the news several times. And it was nice of the news to leave out the facts that Laquan Johnson (Murder case dismissed after 2 key witnesses fail to testify / AP News) got away with murder in a drug deal gone bad and possession of illegal gun charges before his most recent murder and gun charges. And before Michael Rose officially turned murderer (Pittsfield man gets jail time for slashing friend’s face – 2019) ROSE Held on Mayhem Charges – 2018, Michael Rose is and was a habitual violent criminal from a family of generational habitual criminals. If I’m not mistaken, (Mayor Tyer aims to appoint firefighter with criminal past,) mayor tyer, bent over backwards to hire one of them from that generational family of criminals. A convicted felon gang member/drug dealer, against the wishes of a municipal union. The Pittsfield Professional Firefighters Union Local 2647 sent a memo to tyer and city councilors saying a majority of the members feel Conyers should not be appointed.

What about the Man arrested on a slew of gun charges in Pittsfield May 23, 2022? The suspect had a loaded 9mm gun sticking out of his pants and several baggies containing a substance consistent with the appearance of crack cocaine found in the cruiser where Handy had been seated. And then during his booking police said he was found to be in possession of more of the plastics baggies containing the same substance. Is that defendant being detained, or has he been released so he can murder someone on Nipples watch?

Don’t know why it won’t post working link.
From the article the picture was of Shirley at the da’s announcement of running again.

Shirley Edgerton, a community activist, spoke in support of Harrington, saying she created an equitable and just system in the prosecutor’s office.

“Black people represent 12% of the United States adult population, but 33% of the prison population,” Edgerton said. “While white individuals make up 64% of the adult population, and 30% of prisoners. Mass incarceration is real and represents America’s history of enslavement and racial bias.” Edgerton praised Harrington’s juvenile diversion program. “We need DA Harrington to reduce pretrial jail time where individuals’ lives spiral downward [by] losing jobs
and housing, setting up a scenario of desperation,” Edgerton added.

In the USA Black people also represent 57% of the people committing crime. Should there be more in jail?

It boggles the mind. All those guys being held have jobs? You mean selling drugs, Shirley? And what percent of the Berkshire population is black and in jail, Shirley? Your BS never ends. Why don’t you do something to support the safety of the good people in your neighborhood who are working real jobs, raising kids and not getting arrested? WTF, Shirley.

I imagine all of those arrested were working on turning their lifestyle’s around once again because the first few times they tried didn’t go so well. Maybe this time when they show up in court and mention it to the judge it will finally happen?

Well the da got her marching orders from S.E in her statement above “We Need the da to reduce pre trial time”. .. DA: ok , I’ll add that to the list of things you’ve already given me to secure the votes I need.

You ever notice, Shirley and Dennis Powell, never address the real issue: gun play by young, black, men.

I’m not even talking about Chicago or NYC, but here in Pittsfield.

Here are a few facts from the CDC and data collected by the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. The research shows Black people are more than twice as likely as white people to die from gun violence and 14 times more likely than white people to get hurt in a shooting. Black children and teens are 13 times more likely to be hospitalized for a firearm assault than white children.

Ooof. Ugh. A Maryland congressman: “We need to be putting people in [with] the highest possible integrity and commitment in power, and that’s Andrea Harrington.”

And by integrity we mean absolute loyalty to the political aims that we have.
Disgraceful.

God, it is disgraceful. Raskin doesn’t even bother to have one of his aides vet her before stating she has the highest possible integrity. Or worse, he was forewarned but went ahead anyway. Now I have zero respect for him. Time to write letters to the editor of papers in his district. That’s the only way to shut down this absolute loyalty despite facts that show a candidate to lack integrity and competence.

DA in press release:
Those charged in recent shootings” are in pretrial custody.
She said her office worked to build trust in neighborhoods “most impacted by gun violence and oppressed by a history of systemic
racism.”

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place, and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead.

Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders Fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch: be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies frow

In Flanders’ Fields.

Decoration Day

by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Sleep, comrades, sleep and rest

On this Field of the Grounded Arms,

Where foes no more molest,

Nor sentry’s shot alarms!

Ye have slept on the ground before,

And started to your feet

At the cannon’s sudden roar,

Or the drum’s redoubling beat.

But in this camp of Death

No sound your slumber breaks.

Here is no fevered breath,

No wound that bleeds and aches.

All is repose and peace,

Untrampled lies the sod,

The shouts of battle cease,

It is the Truce of God!

Rest, comrades, rest and sleep!

The thoughts of men shall be

As sentinels to keep

Your rest from danger free.

Your silent tents of green

We deck with fragrant flowers,

Yours has the suffering been

The memory shall be ours.

A story in Forbes Magazine. Can you believe it? It lists Pittsfield, yes, that’s us, as one of the best places in America to retire to. The author of this story is aware of something we don’t know, or he’s a total nincompoop. What do you think?

Every time every taxpayer in Pittsfield opens their tax bill, we’re painfully aware of something the author of that lie doesn’t know. So, the choice is obvious, he’ s a total nincompoop. Also obvious is the fact that the city councilors are totally corrupt nincompoops. The corrupt city budget as presented should not be passed. The city budget should be decreased by double the amount of the bloated rip-off increase. Pittsfield doesn’t need Pickle Ball Courts and Pump Parks. Another rip-off is that tyer’s Pick-Pocket Tax and her At-Home taxpayer rip-off program. Both of these scams on the taxpayers need to be eliminated. Pittsfield does need an independent honest audit. I believe that would be taxpayer money well spent. Taxpayers also don’t need, and don’t want those 4 at-large corrupt city council asswipe votes always supporting the corrupt mayor’s devious plot to further rip-off the taxpayers.

The mayor should think back in time before she hit the big time $ from becoming mayor and marrying into some dough. I guarantee she would be in shock opening her tax bill, water bill etc.. and worried about how to pay for everything and still provide the basics. She forgot quickly about the average Joe she championed when first running for the office of mayor.

This is one of those lies by the mayor minister of propaganda that keeps getting paid to be resurrected.

Last year it was Pittsfield to be featured on ‘Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid’ for cost of $27K / Local News/ Berkshire Eaglr.com July 22, 2021

Pittsfield to be featured in Dennis Quaid documentary series / WWLP -July 28, 2021

Pittsfield Selected to Be on Dennis Quaid-hosted TV Show – iBerkshires.com July 23, 2021

Other quotable ramblings from the minister:

‘Let me control the media and I will turn any nation into a herd of pigs’

‘If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it’

The far left activists will be coming out of the woodwork to vote for her. Watch for them to even hit nursing homes to get the votes of the elderly, many of whom don’t even know who they are voting for. This was done to my aunt during the 2020 presidential campaign and I only found out about it months after the election. My aunt said that a very nice lady convinced me to vote for Biden. I was so angry because she was obviously coached. I have since told my aunt what they are doing and she will know everything about the candidates so she can make an informed decision for the next elections.

Grass

By Carl Sandburg

Pile the bodies high at Austerlitz and Waterloo.

Shovel them under and let me work-

I am the grass; I cover all.

And pile them high at Gettysburg

And pile them high at Ypres and Verdun.

Shovel them under and let me work.

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:

What place is this?

Where are we now?

I am the grass.

Let me work.

So ridiculous that this Manager of the White Sox will not honor the National Anthem in protest over the shootings in Texas. 85% of the country doesn’t agree with the direction that Biden is taking this country, but we honor the National Anthem even when there are terrible shootings.

According to AAA, the national average price for regular gasoline climbed more than four cents on Tuesday to $4.61 a gallon, climbing more than 25 cents in six weeks.
The number is more than 50% higher than the average cost per gallon a year ago. It comes as gas prices have continued to climb during Joe Biden’s presidency and as millions of Americans are poised to travel by road for Memorial Day weekend.”
