PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY MAY 18, 2022) — Hump day. Isn’t that what it’s called, that day named after the lass in the Adams Family? THE PLANET seems sure — as sure as we are that, here on the verge of “hot time, summer in the city” — Pittsfield’s mayhem is about to pop. The phun aspect is that with a minority of notable exceptions, the elected and appointed officials Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski once trusted don’t care.

As Confucius said, “May you live in interesting times.”

Well, Con man, we do.

THE PLANET presents two items today, both worthy of comment — YOUR comment, because, unlike so many phat cats you pay to do so, we care. And we care for free! This board continues to resist call to go to subscription mode. We shall never put profit before people.

———- ooo ———-

Our first item comes from the Pittsfield Police Department. It’s an update on the shooting late last month at Brierwood Lane. THE PLANET shares because it illustrates (a) how the PPD IS doing its job and (b) how out-of-control that job is becoming because of the horde of bottom feeders who have flocked to the city after the present administrations took office. We speak of the mayor’s office and the D.A.’s office. The first ladles out the goods to the inner circle. The second brought Berkshire Country “restorative justice” and basically have assigned police to the dust bin. When hard-working officers get a case of “why bother?” when it comes to arrest, you got bad news. That type of bad juju can spread so quickly.

Our second item points to some strange doings with respect to the disastrous roll-out (pun intended) of the e-scooters. Still no official word either from the mayor or her public works commissioner, but something fishy appears to be going on. Sponge Bob fishy. Yeah, seriously fishy. Is a coverup in the works? THE PLANET‘s initial attempts to poke and prod for good information have produced seeds and stems. It looks like official word has gotten out for anyone with knowledge to “CLAM UP,” especially if a certain muckraking investigative writer sends out feelers. Fortunately, THE PLANET‘s Fortress houses The Secret Squadron and its famed Z-Agents.

We share this report, from Z-16, originally posted as a comment attached to Monday’s post. You may have missed it.

THE PLANET broadcasts this request: Anyone who knows what’s going on behind closed garage doors, you’re welcome to give us a nod. As always, with our sources, we are like the confessional. The information is sacred and the source remains anonymous unless they tell us otherwise.

———- ooo ———-

TEENS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH GUNPLAY

On Tuesday 4/26/2022 at approximately 5:00pm members of the Pittsfield Police Department (PPD) responded to Brierwood Lane in Pittsfield for a reported shooting.  Well over a dozen shell casings were discovered on scene.  The subsequent investigation revealed that an 18 year old Pittsfield resident had been shot multiple times and was seriously injured.  He was transported to Berkshire Medical Center and treated for gunshot wounds that at the time were considered life threatening.  The victim survived and is still recovering from his injuries.

As a result of the ensuing investigation, PPD detectives applied for and received multiple arrest warrants for individuals who were involved in the shooting.  On Tuesday 5/10/2022 members of the PPD Anti-Crime Unit placed a 16 year old juvenile male under arrest on an outstanding warrant related to the Brierwood shooting.  At the time of his arrest, the juvenile was found to be in possession of a loaded .32 caliber handgun.  In addition to the warrant, he was charged with additional firearm offenses based on the discovered weapon.  The juvenile is a resident of Pittsfield. A photo of the weapon is attached:

On Thursday 5/12/2022 members of the PPD Anti-Crime Unit arrested 19 year old Pittsfield resident Keyondre Taft on an outstanding warrant related to the Brierwood shooting.

On Monday 5/16/2022 members of the PPD Patrol Division arrested a 17 year old juvenile male, also a Pittsfield resident, on an outstanding warrant related to the Brierwood shooting.  Members of the PPD are actively pursuing additional suspects who are also believed to have been involved in the incident.

During a three-month span from February 1 through April 30, there were eleven confirmed shooting events in the city.  This does not include suspected gunfire or unfounded calls for service, but rather confirmed shootings with recovered ballistic evidence.  The eleven shooting events have resulted in six victims; four injuries and two deaths by gunfire.  It should be noted that this three month window did not occur during what many consider the “busy season” typical of warmer months.   Some of these incidents were brazen daytime shootings occurring in broad daylight in residential neighborhoods.

Members of the Pittsfield Police Department will not tolerate indiscriminate gunfire in our city’s neighborhoods.  We will patrol, investigate, and charge those individuals who are responsible for inflicting violence in our neighborhoods.  We can’t, however, do it alone.  We need the cooperation of the public.  We would encourage witnesses of violence to provide information to the investigating officers.  We would also hope that our citizens and community leaders take a strong stance against gun violence and condemn the possession and use of illegal firearms.  Individuals involved in gun violence, many of them juveniles, need to know that these acts will not be tolerated by their community.

If you have information on recent gun violence or the illegal possession of firearms, we would strongly encourage you to contact the Pittsfield Police Department Detective Bureau at 413-448-9700.  Information can also be provided anonymously via the Detective Bureau Tip Line at 413-448-9706, or by texting PITTIP and your message to TIP411 (847411). Thank you.

———- ooo ———-

THEN THERE’S THIS ONE

Morales got his ass chewed out about something that’s going on. Someone sent a freedom of information request for all the emails and info on the Bird program. The message was it’s for a lawsuit, so they [the city] are trying to cover their ass. A bunch of the scooters are not being put out, maybe half of them, and they’ve moved them to other locations in the city. They put some up at BMC, moved some out to by the UPS store, by Deming park — as my boss put it, “less urban” areas. They want to slow the complaints about them downtown, I think because so many people have complained. Also they are not bringing in the revenue they thought they would. Too many freeloaders, so move them out of the “urban areas” to boost paying rides.

On a Tuesday afternoon drive through Dead on North (DON), THE PLANET saw one, exactly one, scooter. It was in front of the First Aggie building at 100. North Street. Unused.

There’s also been no — zero, nada, zip — information forthcoming from the city about the role the corporation operating out of an 800-sq.-ft. condo off Tyler Street is playing in all this.

We sense and sniff something slippery afoot, slithering now and trying to hide. We could be sensing nothing more than Ain’t Bee’s apple pie and nothing more slippery than a cow pie.

But we doubt it.

Inquiring minds not only want to know, but are trying to get around the stone wall the municipality has erected to keep The Kapanskis in the dark.

Folks, with budget hearings coming up, isn’t it time for a massive gathering in front of city hall of the Howard Beale kind? Who wants this? And who wants to step up to organize? Who wants to become Pittsfield Lech Walesa?

——————————————————————————-

Beyond a reasonable doubt, blogger Dan Valenti is totally WRONG that Berkshire County District Attorney Andrea Harrington disregards to police when it comes to violent crime in Pittsfield. She has not “assigned [the] police to the dust bin.” I am not writing that she should get all A+ grades, nor are her “restorative justice” policies helping to solve Pittsfield’s longstanding problems with violent crime. But the claims being made against her tonight are off base. Don’t tell me that Attorney Tim Shugrue’s campaign promises to solve Pittsfield’s violent crime have merit. There have been many Pittsfield politicians over the years/decades who have promised to solve Pittsfield’s violent crime problems, but they have all failed over and over again. Blogger Dan Valenti’s specious claims against the sitting D.A. are about as honest as Kufflink’s cooked books and the lovely Linda calling Pittsfield a vibrant and dynamic city.

Hey “smoke stack Melle,” quit worrying about Pittsfield politics. There are more important things in life to worry about.

Instead you should worry about having to decide between chiefing a zeppelin or enjoying a THC infused brownie.

Stop by Roots and we’ll chop it up buddy. We can even get into Pittsfield politics. Plus, I think TFB really likes you. She thinks your cute and enjoys your posts. You lucky dog, you.

I think there will plenty of competition from the street dealers as well. They luv luv Third Thursdays in Pittsfield.
How much of the new tax increase is for all the cops needed for Third Thursdays? How about city personnel setting up? Big bucks? Originally third Thursday was to help North street business s but looks like even the mayor has given up on that hopeless effort.

Will scooters be allowed on the grounds? How about gang bangers? Will the parking ticket lady be out making money for Kerwood?

I don’t know about the parking ticket lady, but if past behavior is an indicator of future behavior, party goers can look forward to more Third Thursday Melees where cops are outnumbered in fist fighting teen girl brawling in the streets. Pittsfield street fight turns into Melee during ‘3rd Thursday Street event – May 22, 2012

If teen girl fights in the streets aren’t your thing, 3rd Thursdays in Pittsfield also offers pedestrians the opportunity to be struck by a moving pick-up truck driven by a licensed, or if you prefer, an unlicensed juvenile, in an area where moving vehicles are prohibited. This 3rd Thursday Family PHUN events is open to all ages. But the PHUN doesn’t end there. Pittsfield’s vibrant and dynamic mayor, linda tyer and her hand selected acting chief, michael wynn, the collaborators of FAMILY PHUN 3rd Thursdays guarantee that if you’re struck by a moving motor vehicle in a restricted area for pedestrians ONLY, your chances of being pinned underneath the vehicle will result in serious bodily injuries, OR YOUR MONEY BACK. In this Family PHUN event your loved ones can watch, for FREE, as several members of the PFD attempt to extricate your seriously injured body from underneath a big truck. The Kids will LOVE IT!

Fizz, they are not called Street dealers anymore. We’re supposed to refer to them as “legacy” sellers.
And a quick internet search turns up the information that there is still a street market for weed because the prices are cheaper and the quality is as good as the dispensary stuff.
Even though weed jobs are supposed to be provided for black and brown men who were overly affected by incarceration and long-standing US weed policy, which is cognitively dissonant, because we just punished you for decades of your life and now the only thing we’re offering you in terms of re-entry is selling weed to white people??? Yeah, no.— the legal weed industry still shuts out minorities.

Clock Cleaners is a 1937 American animated short film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The cartoon follows Mickey MouseDonald Duck, and Goofy working as janitors in a tall clock tower. The film was directed by Ben Sharpsteen and features original music by Paul Smith and Oliver Wallace. The voice cast includes Walt Disney as Mickey, Clarence Nash as Donald, and Pinto Colvig as Goofy.[2][3][4] It was the 97th short in the Mickey Mouse film series to be released, and the eighth for that year.[5]
Clock Cleaners is one of Disney’s most critically acclaimed short films. In 1994, 1000 members of the animation field voted Clock Cleaners as the 27th greatest cartoon of all time.[6] This cartoon was released two months before Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).

I’m horrified by this post, as everyone should be. It smacks of a vindictive, spiteful, vengeful and biased prosecutor and is absolutely against the standard of professional excellence and respect of any attorney. A person who would choose words like this while holding herself out as exemplary in the very important work of plea bargaining is editorial worthy at the very least.

Surely the Eagle knows all about the scooter subterfuge but why would they let on to the general public? If and when the mayor submits her version of what blew up and why it blew up, they will report on it. Love all the Transparency we are receiving from our current may! She did state as a candidate how transparent her administration would be, she seems to be keeping her pledge like cleaning up the blight. Why do the politicians feel so brazen where they don’t have to inform the public, who they are working for, all the ins and outs of what is going on. I agree there needs to be a forensic audit. I hope they find how the parking meters are doing towards keeping our parking garage in top shape, also where is the drug money going and now the scooter escapades. I would also love to know the plans for the infrastructure and what in the name of ARPA is the secret committee doing with all the federal dollars? Also would love to know where are those dang greenhouses? Aren’t the gobsigs done growing their pot through the winter? This budget that they propose should be sent packing for a rewrite. Look around you, with the population decline the Catholic Church has closed half their churches, the hospitals shed half their programs, so shouldn’t the schools follow suit?

Springside Park is at City Hall – City of Pittsfield.o
  · Pittsfield, MA  ·
Despite previously being opposed by 9 park organizations, over 550 residents via petition, and a 7-4 vote in the city council in 2019, the Tyer administration has just indicated to the council tonight that it intends to spend $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Funds in the coming fiscal year to install new pickle ball courts. The intent is to locate them in the same previously opposed site, in the small remaining wildlife corridor to the northeast corner of the park.
In 2019, a coalition of 9 organizations involved with Springside Park and the Morningside neighborhood outlined several reasons why the project is inconsistent with the existing park master plan, which among other points calls for the city to address badly-needed existing components of the park (like the POND) before it contemplates funding large new initiatives and pet projects the neighborhood has not asked for (and loudly opposed).

Hey, ya’ll, I took on the law enforcement establishment and am so very proud of everything I accomplished. Here’s my selfie of me with my black person of the day (BPD) so you know I’m woke to the plight of racist attacks by police on our citizens in Berkshire County. PS Don’t worry about me. I watched a bit of the usual shitty city budget farce last night. transparent tyer, as usual, was unbelievable, as usual! wynn was just as unbelievable, as usual! The persip, followed, as usual! As wynn was making his usual case for MORE MONEY for his department, he had the usual excuses for why the PPD always needs to be over budgeted and understaffed, as usual! He presented his usual specious answers when it comes to retaining PPD cops. Not once did he mention that PPD Officer Michael McHugh was separated from the PPD because he’s a convicted violent offender. Not that that would excludes McHugh from the PPD, because there are more of them in the PPD. Wynn also didn’t touch the subject of PPD Dale Eason’s premature, but profitable departure from the PPD. Wynn also neglected to mention the reasons for the loss of PPD Jeff Coco, a convicted PPD career thief, or the short lived PPD career of married with very young children Nicholas Cabral, and PPD Nicholas Cabral’s wife, PPD Lucia Cabral, the PPD’s First-EVER Latina PPD officer. Another loss for the PPD was PPD officer Miles Barber. PPD Miles Barber was allowed to retire early, pension intact, allegedly to take care of his minor daughter after she allegedly shot herself with her cop father’s unsecured loaded service weapon, after he tormented her. It matters not though, because I don’t believe she shot herself. Wynn, of course had nothing to say about trigger-happy PPD officer Marty Streit or his trigger-happy twin PPD officer Christopher Colello moving on to greener pastures. And while I didn’t watch this farce to the end, I seriously doubt the question was asked and wynn divulged the answer to where Dominique Streit, 18-year-old daughter of departed trigger-happy PPD officer Martin Streit, got her hands on the loaded handgun she took along with her on her crime spree, a crime spree that she got away with.

On the two topics today, you have to feel for the men and women at PPD. If the violence in the spring is any early indication of what’s to come for the summer months, look out. It’s going to be a warzone out there.

We do have our “social justice warrior” to help protect the LOC in Berkshire County from all of the “racial biased policing” that law enforcement does.

In fact, the LOC are starting a blue ribbon committee to thank her for her tireless mitigation work for other LOC’s and dropping the hammer on YT’s who commit petty offenses in comparison to these same LOC’s. The committee will be headed up by Warren Dews, Shirley Edgerton, and Denny Powell. The rest of the committee members are as follows:

Laquan Johnson
David Moody
Keyondre Taft
Anthony Robertson
Jamel Nicholson
Efrain Miller

In order to part of this special “blue ribbon” group, you must meet the following criteria: (1) be an LOC, (2) shot and maimed and/or killed someone in since 2020, (3) scam artist or race hustler.

If you know someone who fits into this “blue ribbon” group, let them know about it. It is a vibrant, dynamic, and very inclusive group, that is always looking to add new members.

As far as the scooter issue goes, I’m simply making a guess here, but after reading what DPW posted about Ricky Rumpus getting his a$$ chewed out, concerning a request for information (FOIA) about the Birds and then reading how Timothy Lanfair, left North Adams and people in a trail of his debt, it makes me wonder if it’s a debt collector looking for Tim?

I’m sure all that Flat Tyer and Eddie Muntser-Kerwood saw were dollar signs and how many of those dollar made their way into each’s wallet. Flat and Eddie didn’t do their homework on Lanfair and now the cows are coming home. Rumpus is/was just the stooge to play along.

Again, I could be wrong, but unless a serious injury took place on a scooter in Pittsfield and none of us know about, this just seems a little fishy on Tim Lanfair’s end. Especially if talk of a lawsuit is on the table this early into the rollout.

The Eagle has been instructed to lay off negative reporting about Pittsfield.
Unless it’s a glaring problem, no reporting.
Even if it’s a glaring problem, like the scooters or the roads or OPEB, it’s supposed to be handled with kid gloves. The Tamarack article is a perfect example, they let this whopper slide;

“Commissioner of Public Services and Utilities Ricardo Morales said when he looked at his department’s files on the road, he couldn’t find any sign of repair work to the roadway for more than 20 years”

Ricky either can’t read or forgot what he said to the Eagle last year. He must have missed all the hubbub about the Bagela BA 7000 asphalt recycler and how it was used on Tamarack. They had it up at the airport, that was 2011-2014. Tamarack has been repaired EVERY year, in some form or another dating back to 1998.
I found those records in the asphalt reports and scheduling logs in under 15 minutes.
Ricky doesn’t know his asshole from a pothole.
He could also check the “detail logs” for the city when they paid out detail funds for police and sheriffs deputies. Each project is billed to a project and the road is listed.

The Eagle is now cherry picking stories about other towns to make things look better for Pittsfield.

There has been a coordinated public misinformation campaign since Tyer took over. She campaigned on openness in government but has done the exact opposite. She has co-opted most of the media and filled key positions with loyalists hoping to grab a piece of her municipal pie. It almost looks like she does not spend big money unless it can be directed to special interest benefactors.
This Pickle Ball bullshit will benefit very few people but connected consultants and contractors will reap rewards. And my guess is they are the real reason this project was even invented, like so many others. We are having the worst inflation in 50 years and it is projected to get worse. Yet Mayor Tyer is focusing on the la di da shit. Totally unnecessary things as if she was Kim Kardashian with a bottomless pot of cash.
Where is the Berkshire Eagle calling her out on this? Where is Peter Marchetti (a banker no less) city council president? What self entitled world is he living in? And the other lap dogs who took councilor positions who are now shitting on the very people who elected them? A city with no oversight, no check and balance system. What could possibly go wrong Petes? Do you give a shit? Sure does not look like it but as long as your own pockets are full all is well.
They say that politicians who allow their own hands to get dirty are then useless to the people who elected them. Is this Pittsfield s problem?

Might be viable for state/federal support, Tesla driving, donkey mouth AOC would approve it for the little people…

Berkshire Green Donkey Rentals, “for “green transportation” that can handle Pittsfield’s most treacherous paths, even Tamarack rd”……

The City could fund a stable/livery at the Airport using some of Flat Tyer’s stashed away loot.

Teenagers could gallop up and down North street, sidewalks, front yards, parks, ……..they wouldn’t even be hampered by having to use roadways anymore.

The donkey poop could fertilize the neglected planters lining the street sidewalks……….the city could expand Timothy Lanfair’s Birdy contract to include stall cleaning and being head pooper scooper……….. “an economic engine” of the first order!

And when you’re riding your llama in January to “save the planet,” be sure to wave to Flat Tyer, as she sloshes by you in her new, expensive, gas-powered vehicle. I forgot to mention not only the car will be heated, but so will the seats.

So Tyer campaigned on violent crime and when it got worse under her than Bianchi, she held court and professed she wouldn’t tolerate it, and now it’s worse than ever, and now the cops say they “won’t tolerate indiscriminate gunfire”, and yet they are, and have been, to the tune of hundreds of shootings. They do a great job solving violent crime but neither they nor the shitspotter can prevent it! The barn door was left opened too long!

MT: agree that Covid is mild for 99%. But there is also the 1%. The virus specifically targets the opening to air sacs which when comprehensive is quickly fatal or produces an insidious pneumonia. Kind of like hantavirus. We are lucky it got out before the critters figured out how to make it hit the 30% effective range.

A zinc ionophore (HCQ, ivermectrin, or quecetin), zinc, and Vit D helps prevent and treats Kung Flu.

MSM/NIH/CDC knew this since March 2020, while people died and were treated with deadly remdesivir.

The reason ivermectin was not permitted is because it is inexpensive and generic. No money in it. A ‘all in’ approach to the China virus would have resulted in an explosion in treatment options for respiratory infection.

The sole focus on vaccine treatment is a lost opportunity and furthers dependence on a treatment (vaccine) that in time will result in stronger viruses and weaker immunity.

If you live in Pittsfield, you have no choice but to pay for dangerous violent crime-filled streets, Level 5 public schools, the almost 24-year-old PEDA debacle, skunk-like pot odors, old scratch tickets and nip bottles littered everywhere the underclass roams, Social Services Alley surrounded by distressed neighborhoods called “The Ring of Poverty” that surrounds North Street’s dozens of empty storefronts, and Pittsfield politics’ “Business as usual” failed leadership. “Why is my Pittsfield water and sewer bill suddenly so high?”
By Lindsey Hollenbaugh, The Berkshire Eagle, May 17, 2022

PITTSFIELD — City residents who opened their most recent water and sewer bill were, well, shocked.

“I got my water and sewer bill today. What?!” one southeast Pittsfield resident posted on the Nextdoor App. More than 100 commenters chimed in with similar sentiments.

Pittsfield homeowners are footing the bill for what city officials call a “structural problem” in the funding of water and sewer services. In early March, City Council voted in a split 6-4 decision to raise rates for water and sewer services by 10 percent and 12 percent, respectively, this year and the next.

That means, for a typical two-bathroom home in Pittsfield without a water meter, the increase in rates will mean an additional $77.20 in water and sewer fees over last year’s bill, according to city calculations.

For the average metered home in Pittsfield — which consumes about 220 gallons per day — the rate changes will mean an additional $64.69 in water and sewer bills.

The vote was originally reported on by Eagle reporter Meg Britton-Mehlisch in March, but the rate hike seemed to hit many residents by surprise, causing many to take to social media to complain about the increase.

Residents who call Pittsfield’s Department of Public Works customer service line are met with a recorded voicemail, which includes this information: “Water and sewer rates have increased retroactive to January 2022.”

Three CC meetings ago there was suppose to be 3 new police officers announced but it was tabled and referred back to Flat Tyer. Wonder what has become of these officers, are they on the job or not on the job? Believe it was tabled due to Officer Courtney’s past arrests. If his past arrests are the issue, why should the other two officers be held up in his mess. Is Courtney a Pittsfield Police officer or not? Of course his mommy was Mayor Doyle’s administrative assistant, so I am sure the good ole boys are pushing for him. Crime is so out of control, the City most certainly could use 3 more officers but as usual Flat Tyer and her ex-boyfriend Mikey Wynn are completely silent. This issue seems to have disappeared from the CC Agenda. What are they hiding this time? This Administration is so crooked.

Isn’t that so weird? The Berkshire Eagle had a spread a few weeks ago bragging about how it had just won 42 (fourty two) awards for its journalism. And not just 42 but 42 MORE awards. Tuesday May 3rd Section A page 3.

And yet some of the most basic stuff is ignored as if they are clueless as to what newspapers do. Lots of advertisements disguised as “newsy” articles. Lots of diversion and “look over there not over here” stuff when it comes to negative stuff going on in Pittsfield. i.e. a big story on horrific drug overdose numbers in America without mentioning that Pittsfield is one of the worst places of all. There will be a shooting in Pittsfield and they will run a story of someone shot somewhere else type stories. That type of misdirection used mostly in political arenas where some guy definitely does NOT want to answer the question he was asked so he starts talking about something totally different.

Where are your 42 awards Dan? Guess you need to step it up huh? They have set the bar pretty high.

Covid supposedly is running rampant in Pittsfield again. Very strange that it seems to be so blatant in Pittsfield. Flat Tyer and her boy toys Ricardo and Andy constantly spend their time and our monies testing hardworking taxpayers sh** for Covid. Can’t help but wonder if Health Department Andy ever ventures out to some of the filthy dirty stores in Pittsfield, such as Walmart, Dollar Store in Coltsville, Dollar Store on North Street, Merrill Road Stop & Shop, Harry’s Supermarket just to name a few. Does Andy ever venture out and check out the cleanliness of the restaurants and bars? Other Administrations had Health Department employees checking these establishments constantly and would shut them down until they were cleaned. Flat Tyer’s City has turned into a sh** hole, no wonder people are sick!

Hello journalist Meg Britton-Mehlisch,

I have followed predictable Pittsfield politics for decades; I will turn 47-years-old this upcoming Summer of 2022. You wrote that Mayor Linda Tyer’s proposed fiscal year 2023 municipal budget has “a 4.8 percent increase over this fiscal year’s budget”. I have observed that Pittsfield politics always increases its yearly municipal spending by 5 percent. I request that you please ask Matt Kerwood why it is always a 5 percent hike? Also, please ask Matt Kerwood how many millions of municipal dollars are in his secretive Slush Fund accounts? Also, how many millions of “Biden Bucks” ARPA dollars are left in the city’s coffers? Combine the Slush Fund and Biden Bucks financial figures, and then ask Matt Kerwood why he is raising municipal spending by 5 percent beginning on July 1st, 2022, which is less than 1.5-months from now? Also, what is the total municipal public debt financial figure? What is the estimated OPEB public debt financial figure? What is Matt Kerwood’s financial plan to payoff Pittsfield politics’ hundreds of millions of dollars in municipal public debts and other liabilities? Does he even have a plan in place? If not, why not? What is the ratio of Pittsfield’s municipal public debts and other liabilities per population, and per household? How do Pittsfield politics’ finances compare to other municipalities similar in size and demographics to Pittsfield? If Matt Kerwood cannot and/or does not furnish this financial data to you, then he should resign and finally get himself a private sector job and join the ranks of struggling working-class taxpayers!

Best wishes,

Jonathan A. Melle

Your so good with finances and numbers, why can’t you work at a cash register? Let me guess, standing and thinking at the same time taxes you mentally? Do you know how to start and run a lawn mower? At the last shitty meeting of the chalatans PEE PEE marchetti yelled at a fellow councilor for saying that we know what we are when we are born. Those born with a penis are usually identified as males and those born with vaginas are identified as females. But I have read that some hospitals are no longer “labeling” babies male and female at birth. Instead, it’s being left up to the parents to choose the sexual identity of their offspring regardless of what they were born with. Newborns are being designated “X” on their birth certificates. And just as absurd, there are parents who are raising their babies without a sexual identity thus allowing their toddlers to decide what sex they want to be. Mommy doesn’t have to be a female anymore, and daddy has a vagina. Medical questionnaires now include questions that ask if you identify with and if you are the same sex you were assigned at birth. What has happened to sanity!

Look at what happened to TSC. He was kidnapped by aliens and every orifice of his body was probed by very large carbon-rods. He loved it so much, rumor has it, it was akin to the rat experiment. In that experiment, the rats developed such an addiction to cocaine, that the eventually chose lethal amounts of cocaine over food.

After TSC, the aliens traveled many galaxies away from Earth. His posts aren’t proof positive?

I registered by phone at Mass Gen. I’ll post the transcript maybe but I recall telling the guy to use his common sense. Then came “race?” Me: “Human! Just like you!” He: Heh…really though. Are you like Irish Serbocromagnon.polish?” Me: ” hmm
So many choices. I’m confused. I”ll take Swiss. Geezer this form of yours is driving health care through the roof. How it cost each time you make a change?”
That ended a twenty five minute DIE hospital registration

Jonathan Melle has significant metal issues and continually shits up this board. I am asking Dan to give Melle a two week ban to see if the quality of the board and traffic improves.
This isn’t about free speech, this is about mental illness and how one person can really ruin things.

His continued off topic ego posting is detracting from some good conversations.

Dew Drop Your Money Into My Pocket is at it again, this time sharing an invite via FB to a soft opening of The Firehouse restaurant in Adams and asking people pre – register.
Okay that’s fair, to get an idea of how many people might show and to help determine food cost BUT when you open the registration link, it’s another one of the Dews money grabs, asking people for big bucks in return for perks like having your photo on the wall of the restaurant permanently as well as being able to attend this soft opening.
The top tier or whatever he’s calling it is a $2500
donation, then, $2000,, working its way down the numbers with varying alleged perks attached.
That’s not what I think of as a soft opening at all.
The restaurant business is notoriously difficult, and the pandemic is making it that much harder for restaurant owners to survive
If you can’t afford to open a restaurant then you shouldn’t be in the biz to begin with.
So… How much of the almost 3/4 of a mill in ARPA funds for the proposed nonexistent business is about to be laundered through this scheme?

I believe Auto Phil posted a couple of days ago on The Planet, “business mogul” Harmony Persip just came into $250,000 to invest into her and Warren’s future “LOC pot spa.” So, that still leaves $450,000 unaccounted for.

Remember too, Shirley Edgerton was part of that award. She hasn’t announced her “business” yet.

Speaking of Shirley, a few years ago, didn’t the city pay her travel and business expenses to go to North Carolina to recruit black teachers? How much was she paid and more importantly, how many black teachers did she recruit? And are they still employed in Pittsfield school system?

When will this nonsense end?

Yes, we have discussed Dews’ newest “pay me now, I probably won’t give you anything in return in the future” scheme.

This Firehouse scam is on top of the larger “partnership” he has with Harmony Edwards-Persip, the New Eatonville Resort and Spa, which they are asking for investments in and that which we have determined doesn’t actually exist.

Someone also posted here that the Mayor’s Assistant, Dews’ wife Roberta, sent the “exclusive” invite to her city-hall contact list. It claims to be by invitation only but the Facebook event calls it public and open to anyone.

I also noticed that the Berkshire Eagle posted this “news” of the Dews’ event with the link to register on their Facebook page two days in a row. Yes, two different posts. Wonder who made that call.

I read the $250,000 interest-free loan was from family in 2020 allegedly for the Barcelona Tapas & Bar at 87 Wahconah St. that never opened or the 137 NORTH STREET UNCORKED Speakeasy that never opened or reopened, or for neither one of them. And this predates tyer’s $700,000 welfare reparation for the negros scam. The information on that $250,000 interest-free from FAMILY was there 2 days ago.

So is Persip-Edwards holding a pocket license for Uncorked? That bar closure pre-dates the pandemic. What happened to the liquor license?

The CDC has identified what is called the scooter spread variant of Covid. It is regular old Omicron B11-666 but has a teenage cootie thug attachment. This latest Covid explosion occurred in Pittsfield just a week after the scooters showed up confirming the CDC theory that when young thugs congregate and travel all over a city sharing motorized scooters the result is inevitable. So now you know.

One of the side effects of this variant is that people just make shit up like I just did and now I am going to quaranteen myself for an hour and then go to the Third Thursday event and shake hands with as many people as I can.

Most food is not locally grown and must be shipped. Farmers also use a lot of fuel. It would be a good time to fill up the:pantry, freezer, and root cellar.

Why would his numbers go up while the country is sinking to the bottom? Between wanting to buy dirty oil from Venezuela and enemy countries while we sit on a goldmine of it, to skyrocketing food and gas prices, indoctrination of our children with the insane sex and gender beliefs of Joe and his far left globalists, ESG scores which are forcing companies out of business, illegal immigrants pouring into the country, babies getting sick from a shortage of properly prepared baby formula, being on the brink of nuclear war with Russia, climate fanatics taking over the country, “you will own nothing and be happy” being the mantra of Joe and his fellow globalists, why would anyone give Biden a thumbs up?!?

Except when counting ballots. As your opponent gains, it’s perfectly normal for you to gain an equal number. One can extend vote counting for weeks and watch the graphs prove this.

The gas price is bad enough but every time it goes up the cost of a can of beans goes up with it. Everything that gets delivered goes up with it. We are heading for a bad place where basic necessities are so costly. And this is what makes mayor Tyers spending millions on entertainment venues so incredibly ignorant. Is she clueless or just lost?

Berkshire County has the 2nd highest number of COVID cases in the United States, second only to a Connecticut county according to an article run in the BB today. We just recently topped the country in talking about and using booze during the pandemic, and we have always been at the top for drug use.

If you love college football. or any college sport, this is for you. Former great Univ. of Florida football coach, Steve Spurrier, is upset and says so, because Texas A & M has recently enrolled a group of freshmen football players who are strong,.fast, and brainless..Nothing about receiving a C or B in any subject. These kids are there to play football and fill the stadium to make money for the university,. What has happened to our collages that allow this to happen.? I hope we don’t allow our advaced schools to become a “minor league” for professional football. That’s where we’re heading. Maybe we’re there now. Schools make enough money now on gate receits and TV dollars. They don’t have to prostitude themselves to receive TV rights or fill a football stadium. It seems the top honchos have forgotten – it is for the kids at your school.

I wish he never left the Univ. of Florida for the pros. If he had stayed I believe he would have set the record for most wins ever for a college coach.

This is why universities have created Finger Painting 101 type courses for a specific group of people. They keep them eligible academically and reap the bucks from doing so. I enjoyed watching Spurrier playing with the Niners some years back.

This post is for Dan and all of the older Planet posters, who remember Pittsfield of days gone past. Certainly not the current vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive city that it is.

The question: When you were growing up in Pittsfield, how many guys looked like Luis Delvalle-Rodriguez did you know or go to school with?

**Just a quick hint, in addition to Ricky’s Rumpus, this is what another large portion of the state’s “grant money,” that Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (D) always seems to fast track Linda “Flat” Tyer into.

If this link doesn’t work, just click on the Eagle’s front story featuring the newest member of Warren, Shirley, and Dennis’ new “LOC Blue Ribbon Krew,” I introduce Luis Delvalle-Rodriguez.

Audio evidence indicates Luis Delvalle-Rodriguez fired a gun the night of Nick Carnevale shooting | Crime | berkshireeagle.com

Nothing screams future CEO of a Fortune 500 company, than obliterating your face with tattoos. Look at his hand. Notice the 666 tat? The last guy who had the “666” tat, was that crazy freak (killer) Caius Veiovis.

It really is sad. Back in my day, if a guy felt “wronged” by an ex-GF and he wanted to fight her new BF, they fought with fists and fists only. And not to the point the loser was taken to an ER.

Today, these fine LOC’s just blast away for the silliest of reasons. This crew maimed that poor kid for life-over an ex-GF.

I’d love to ask Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (D) or DA Wrong Way, how many of their kids friends look like Luis? I’m betting ZERO.

But those two “social justice warriors” fight like he11 for (1) DL’s for guys like Luis, (2) no bail or lowball bail on serious felony cases for people who “look like” Luis.

It really tells me, how little TFCB and DA WW think of the people of Pittsfield. In particular, the people (LOC) they advocate for.

Guys like Luis do not live in my neighborhood.
