———- ooo ———-

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY APRIL 5, 2023) — No one mentioned it yesterday, and it’s a shame. April 4 marked 54 years since Martin Luther King was gunned down on a motel balcony in Memphis, TN. After enduring JFK’s assassination in 1963 and Malcolm X‘s in 1965, King’s murder shook us up tremendously. And when Bobby Kennedy was silenced a couple months after King, our 16-year-old countenance realized for the first time: We were losing America.

THE PLANET yesterday realized we have lost America when NYC D.A. Alvin Bragg went through with his trumped-up indictment of President Donald Trump. Kangaroo courts and show trials are more at home in gulag-dotted dictatorships ala the Soviet Union under Joe Stalin. Sadly, we saw “justice” Soviet style yesterday in a United States of Amnesia disintegrating under our own Joe — Syracuse Joe, whose political party is more concerned about personal pronouns, gender-affirming brainwashing of our young, and bathroom use. Pretty sad.

From an AP wire story: “[Making hush-money payments] never been successfully prosecuted,” said Brett Kappel, a Washington lawyer who specializes in election law cases. “There are a couple of novel aspects of this case that will insure there will be quite a bit of litigation before a trial.”

Nor is it clear that Bragg, a New York state prosecutor, can seek to prosecute a federal campaign law violation in the first place or that New York state election law would even apply to a candidate for federal office. In short, the case is flimsy and likely to be found without merit.

There was a huge irony just after yesterday’s courtroom drama, as reported by The Hill:

Former President Trump was awarded about $121,972 in attorney fees from adult film star Stormy Daniels just hours after the former president appeared in court Tuesday for the first time in connection to hush money payments made to Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ordered Daniels to pay Trump for attorney fees endured during a 2018 defamation lawsuit that she filed against him. The lawsuit … was dismissed later that year.

Our country is now “The America We Have Lost.”

———- ooo ———-

Peter Marchetti makes his announcement.

John Krol addressing his supporters. Wife Cara can be seen in the background, middle.

On a different note, Pittsfield (and THE PLANET) witnessed on successive evenings the official launchings of Pittsfield mayoral candidates Peter Marchetti (Monday) and John Krol (last night).

Such events are not exciting, but they are meant for the excitable, that is, the respective candidates’ political core — the supporters, the True Believers, the choir, if you will.

In substance, not much is to be gleaned from these rah-rahs. In symbolism, however, one can begin to read the tealeaves. We say that with the note that only the campaign itself will prove who has the stamina, the determination, and the smarts to win in November.

The Marchetti and Krol events were in some way mirrors of the two interviews THE PLANET did with each man on March 28. Those shows can be watched on our YouTube channel, PLANET VALENTI VIDEO. For what it’s worth, as of 11 p.m. last night, Marchetti’s interviewed had 159 viewings to Krol’s 189.

As for the respective campaign launchings, let’s start with the venues: Marchetti had his at spacious but antiseptic Berkshire Hills Country Club event room. Krol chose the more intimate, familial and homey Italian American Club on Newell Street. Each packed their respective venues. Krol had 202. Marchetti did not supply a number, but we eyeballed it as about the same. And that was about the only this the same between these mirror-opposite rallies.

Speaking of food, the Italian American Club out-pasta-ed Berkshire Hills, but then again, what do you expect from the Italian food lineage. Not only was the ITAM’s food of better quality, there was more of it at half price. Drinks were half price at Krol’s events as well. Two soft drinks set you back $6 at Berkshire Hills to $3 at the ITAM. Both events were successful representations of the two opposing camps. Both made money, with Marchetti doubling Krol.

———- ooo ———-

Marchetti’s drew a who’s who of Good Ol’ Boys, Special Interests, and Money Raisers. THE PLANET had a good time. We had the change to talk and catch-up with many long-time familiar faces, including Kevin Sherman, Tom Hickey, Kathy Yon, and Tony Simonelli. We only were asked once why we didn’t bring private security guards, you know, “uh, you know, just in case something were to happen,” and one time only were we met by one hot head who appeared to be in his cups. Let’s just say this bloke had his six cans but was obviously missing the plastic ring that holds them all together. On second thought, he might have been two cans short of a six-pack.  At Krol’s gathering, we got nothing but good vibes from the personal atmospherics in the room.

At the country club, it was a little like Daniel in the Lion’s Den, and we don’t mean at the Red Lion Inn, where we have been known to spend the night darning our socks. At the ITAM, it was more Elton-like, as in “Daniel, you’re a star in the face of the sky,

Peter White, council VP and Chief Foodie, introduced his namesake, reading a script, stumbling a few times, and mostly looking down into the podium. Krol was introduced by Pastor Nakieda Bethel-Smith from Providence, RI, who lives on the West Side in Pittsfield. She delivered an “Amen” stemwinder that had the crowd on its feet. White’s intro was buttoned-down, almost Calvinistic. The pastor’s intro was rousing, pure Southern Baptist Gospel Hour.

Marchetti read from a prepared script. Krol winged it. Pete stood stiffly behind a podium, well distanced from the not-so-cheap seats ($50 a pop). Krol stood up front, in the open, in more advantageous proximity to the crowd ($25 per). A valid generalization: Peter had The Suits. John had ordinary people.

Marchetti was more subdued, even laconic. There’s a sadness at his core that’s hard to fathom. It invokes pathos and gives an impression of resignation. One feels the need to sit with the man and let him try to relax and unburden himself. There’s a searching, “little boy” quality there that one feels the need to befriend. His speech kept coming back to his applause line: “I can lead, I will lead.” He probably said it half-a-dozen times, repeating it to the point where it sounded defensive, as if he was trying to convince himself it was true. Krol “performed” his remarks, shooting them off-the-cuff with energy upon which the crowd fed. Marchetti works the sides. Krol works the room. Pete favored generalities. Krol not so much (mentioning taxes, the closed door to the mayor’s office that he will open if he wins, an “all hands on board” use of city workers during snow removal, police foot patrols for downtown).

Marchetti did not mention taxes, tax rates, or taxpayers once. Krol pledged that some of the $17 million in “free” cash would go directly to lowering taxes. He didn’t say how much. Marchetti shared his overall plan in the form of a slogan, “One Pittsfield.” Krol shared his in the form of what he called a “vision,” a goal-oriented pledge to work making Pittsfield better place. Pete talked of using Pittsfield’s present foundation upon which he would build. Krol talked about opening the three closed doors of city hall.

Moneywise, based on what we saw yesterday, it appears it will be The Suits and Big Lucre vs. the small change of the grassroots. Again, we generalize. There will be some of both with each fellow.

Both candidates have their websites up and running. Krol got his up first, krolforpittsfield.com. A few weeks later, on Monday, in fact, Marchetti got his going: marchettiformayor.com. Marchetti’s site closely mimics Krol’s in appearance. Coincidence? Probably not. Designing websites is part of Krol’s media business, and Marchetti’s IT person seems to have followed “Best Practices.” Smart.

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET went to both events with an open mind, careful to observe and report, without bias. We fully expect some who read this to throw this assertion in our face, but truly, we simply wrote what we saw and heard. Nothing more, nothing less.

Didn’t anyone ever tell you that you can’t have everything? First off, City Hall is an inhabitable toxic environment unsuitable for humans. That was the specious argument in favor of sinking $800,000 plus of taxpayers $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ into the privately owned property at 100 North Street. City Hall employees were allegedly dropping dead from the moldy toxicity in that neglected shithole. So, instead of bringing city hall up to code, because, if I remember correctly, the problems within city hall were beyond fixing, city officials invested in a healthy gym for city hall employees in the unventilated moldy toxic basement of city hall. And you can see the results of that investment in tyer, marchetti, and persip’s enormous figures. So, you will just have to bite the bullet and go out of your way to find a way into the decrepit, decaying, moldy toxic neglected city hall so you can pay your property taxes, water and sewer bills, and your excise taxes so you enjoy Pittsfield’s neglected roads full of potholes. Maybe Kop Kalinowski and Civic Authority Sherman should borrow a couple of those hard hats’ city officials use when posing for photo ops when breaking ground on all the new businesses flocking to Pittsfield. That way they’ll be prepared when the council chambers ceiling comes crashing down on them. It wasn’t by accident that city officials have consistently overtaxed the taxpayers in excess of $17 MILLIONS PLUS.

Good point (as usual!) It’s not about ‘opening doors’ but closing them to special interests that matters.

Open door sounds like an invitation to a crime. Do you have a need for a meeting with the Mayor? I never needed one of those.

Please ask Peter Marchetti and John Krol: Why does Pittsfield politics charges the fictional Kapanski family over $200 million per fiscal year in return for – “a shit sandwich” – Level 5 public schools, the city always being in the top 10 cities in Massachusetts for violent crime year-in year-out, the almost 25-year-old polluted and heavily indebted PEDA debacle, a downtown with 15 empty storefronts that is sarcastically called “Social Services Alley”, a distressed and very unequal local economy plagued by 50 years of significant losses in population and living wage jobs, decades of failed one (Democratic) party insider state and local political leadership, and around 80 percent of voters not even bothering to participate out of fear of the city’s vindictive use of retribution?

What does Peter Marchetti’s tagline “One Pittsfield” even mean? It ranks up there with “It’s Happening”, “Aberration”, “Rolodex”, and “Vibrant and Dynamic”. Why is John Krol promising to be “Mr. Perfect”? He will supposedly do everything that is good and right as the would-be next Mayor of Pittsfield….and when I put wings on pigs, they fly all around Pittsfield. An ideal Mayor of Pittsfield would explain how he (or she) would invest in people, who are the community’s most valuable resource. An ideal Mayor would stand for grassroots democracy (no retribution), economic equality (middle-class families), diversity (equal opportunity), and working hard day-in and day-out on behalf of the fictional Kapanski family.

As for NYC, Donald Trump should be the least of their concerns. He doesn’t even live there full-time anymore, as he is now a full-time resident of Florida. NYC has poverty and homelessness, drugs and overdoses, violent crime and gangs, and a whole lot of political corruption. Former U.S. President Donald Trump is a (controversial) politician on the federal level of government who is running for his third campaign for U.S. President next year 2024. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton, who is a twice Convicted Felon due to decades of his sexual misconduct, has 26 registered flight logs on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet. Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s ring of over at least 200 rich and powerful men – that may be bigger than we realize – sexually abused, exploited and even raped underage women as young as 14 years old. Bill Clinton, who is allegedly part of that ring, still lives in NY State! Why Trump, but not Bill Clinton, NYC prosecutors? At least the porn star and the Playboy model were consenting adult women instead of 14-year-old girls!

Going around Pittsfield yesterday I heard people talking about the Trump indictment and I shouldn’t have been surprised to hear some people saying that this current case seemed weak, but maybe they will GET TRUMP with the upcoming charges for other cases against him which seem stronger. Sadly, it’s many of the people in this country who are willing to look the other way as our justice system is being hijacked to GET TRUMP. They don’t care about the actual law. They will twist it whatever way they need to take down a political rival. This is why other countries are saying America has lost its way and is no longer the beacon of light it used to be. This is part of the globalist plan though to hand over our moral authority to China and other countries and Americans are falling for it.

A potted plant actually pulled papers and ran against her too. It met an unspeakable and unthinkable demise in an office encounter.

Paul ran a write in campaign and Harrington was a dark horse. Odds were not favorable for an upset. Also, the candidate loses the race, not the manager. If a candidate believes his race is damaged by bad management, he replaces her – that’s his job as a candidate.

Mazzeo could have done better on her campaign, but we will never know.

That comes from Quick Take. Point is: Paul had a huge disadvantage by at the close of his primary. Its a matter of dishonesty to claim that he had an easy opponent in that race when his name was not on the ballot and the voters are not checked in to the competition. They are like little robots: they see a name on the ballot and think it’s a test – ‘choose one below’. If there is only one name, they must fill in the oval.

A naked pastor or Pastor Naked? Does Pastor Naked condone adultery & witchcraft? Will the Pope put in an appearance at Krol’s next campaign event? Both candidates are progressive democrats, the likes of which have destroyed Pittsfield.
While on the council, Krol approved every tax increase. Use of free cash to reduce the tax burden requires approval of the CC – Krol does not have the power to solely make that happen. Krol’s conflict of interest is his wife who serves the masters of the Pittsfield School Dept. Will she give up her teacher’s pension so Krol can ethically run? Wait a minute….Krol now has ethics?
Good luck Pittsfield voters. The least stinky of the two candidates is Pete.

Krol already started talking about putting more money into the Pittsfield Public School system. How about holding schools accountable, teachers accountable, and administrators accountable, before tossing more coin their way.

The PPS is failing. More money is not the solution.

Not to mention, Krol wants to have Pittsfield Police Officers walking the beat on North Street. Why? To shag the bums from one vacant building to the next? To strictly enforce that the three bikers who actually use the bike lanes on North Street stay in the bike lanes. No weaving allowed into the vehicle travel lanes.

I agree Fritz. Krol and Marchetti are basically one in the same. Progressive D’s who LOVE to spend YOUR money.

As if Pittsfield doesn’t have enough bad juju. The krolly rollers and their Voodoo Mambo Bethell have further cursed Pittsfield.

Leviticus 20:10 threatened that ‘the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife…the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death, while Deuteronomy 22:22 thundered, if a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die.

And I would like to say, I am not the one who brought religion into this. That would be the Krolly Roller Krols and their Voodoo Mambo. Giving us that Old Time Religion.

BS-Dan was at both events. If he says they weren’t there, I’ll believe him over “word on the streets.”

Flat Tyler is a Ruberto protégé. Not to mention Marchetti was once his lapdog too, if I’m not mistaken.

And the “climate change” expert is just doing a little homework for the Flat Tyer/Marchetti crew. Surveillance, if you will. Who was there was her main objective. They all know what Krol is about. The same thing as Marchetti, but with a different team.

Will either bring any real jobs to Pittsfield? Refuse Tricia Farley-Country Buffet’s (D-illegal immigrants and sex trade workers) grant money* to bring in more “houseless” from the eastern part of the state?

*Grant money from TFCB allows the mayor to pocket a large amount of that unaccounted for “gift,” as a thank you from your Boston leaders for taking in and removing the “houseless” from where they reside.

A win/win for all…..except for us working stiffs.

Hello Blogger Dan Valenti,

On your blog, and for almost the past 20 years now, people who follow Pittsfield politics have questioned me about why I have always supported Linda Tyer as an elected official. It is not because I supposedly like her romantically. I do not even know her on a personal level. My mom told me that she knew her in Lenox many years ago. We both agree that Linda Tyer is very intelligent and knows what she is doing as the Mayor of Pittsfield. In fact, I wish her and Barry Clairmont a happy life together.

The following reasons are why I support Mayor Linda Tyer:

* Her politics and views closely align with mine more so than anyone else in my life
* She has always supported Human Rights for All and has compassion for the poor people and neighborhoods
* She shows a commitment to Pittsfield and the beautiful Berkshires
* She is nobody’s fool when it comes to financial management
* She established financial stability in Pittsfield’s municipal government
* She is committed to diversity and publicly advocates for a tolerant and caring community
* She has received praise from public officials on the local and state level throughout Massachusetts
* She has dealt with harsh realities from the mess she inherited from the Bianchi Bust in early-2016 to the Covid19 pandemic to the daily shootings in inner-city Pittsfield
* She has always supported the arts and cultural venues and events in post-GE Pittsfield
* She has worked on the issues with Pittsfield’s Level 5 failed public school district with well-meaning people such as Bill Cameron, who is a retired Superintendent and Pittsfield School Committee member
* She has given almost 20 years of her life to Pittsfield politics and the community

Please understand that my grade of A+ for Mayor Linda Tyer does not mean that I have not disagreed with her public record at times. I have openly criticized her administration when it was warranted to do so. I believe that overall, Mayor Linda Tyer did a great job given the difficult realities she faced.

Best wishes,

Jonathan A. Melle

You must not have heard from the cultural competency coach about grades Dan.

High grades that reflect a person’s high work level and study habits are racist to children of color.

According to her, if a child of color attends school regularly, it’s incumbent upon the teacher to anoint such child to the honor roll and a mandatory 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, regardless of homework turned in or tests passed.

The Pittsfield school system churns out “honor students” like they were running a production line. And yet, the overall rating for the schools system is level 5. Not sure how that works in real life but in Pittsfield alternative facts are the norm.
This is what happens when a community has zero oversight, no city council check and balance, and as far as I can see neither of the mayoral candidates is indicating they will make sure will happen on their watch.

fizzlehead

Seriously. The local paper lists them and you would think some whole schools are honors. When I graduated there was a fraction of the honor students there are now. And that was when there was discipline, no gangs in the schools, nobody overdosing in the restrooms and the majority of kids showed up for school every day.

So I am curious how under much more difficult learning conditions, much more stress, anxiety, drugs, bad parenting and bullying, so many find themselves on an honor roll. Any teachers out there want to share?

And, which shell is the pea under?

The Charter was changed to increase the mayor’s salary automatically every year so the only thing on the mayor’s mind is how to get taxes higher to fund it. The school union/cartel probably came up with that scheme.

But I agree that elected officials’ finances–assets as well as income–should be fully disclosed. If they aren’t embezzling money or taking bribes and are really so underpaid they have no reason to object…

I agree with School committee on this one. All 3 mayoral candidates should reveal their 2022 income & source. Employers ( that would be taxpayers) should know if candidates’ salary needs are aligned with their employment goal. This can also reflect motivation and qualification for the job. Someone making, say $30,000/year would most likely not be qualified for a $120,000 a year position. I want to see resumes as well.

Looks like I am relegated to the blackhole yet again. Comment “awaiting for approval.”

Some of the students who daily misbehave in school should be sent to a military-style school setting. Is there any such place in Mass.? They are unable to function in school without disturbing other students and the staff trying to maintain order. Learning cannot occur with continual distractions. Get them the heck out of our local schools!

Another problem is the influx of illegal immigrants who do not speak English and need additional staff to help them along. Who’s paying for the increase in teachers of deportment and english as a second language teachers? Got a mirror?

I would also like to know if illegal immigrant students are required to provide medical records, in order to prevent the spread of communicable diseases rampant in the third world countries they come from. Citizens are required to provide immunization records so I would hope the same rules apply to those here illegally.

Where are the independent candidates for Mayor? Neither Krol or Marchetti seem to have what it takes to be a great mayor for Pittsfield. Both are slaves to the school unions in this city just as we saw in Chicago where there is now a mayor even worse than Laurie Lightfoot largely due to the powerful school union in that city. The new Chicago mayor wants to let the social workers handle crime in the most dangerous of areas…domestic violence and let the criminals run wild in Chicago.

I had the opportunity to attend both events. It’s too bad the public can’t see what I was witness to, in the moment I witnessed it.

The difference between the candidates couldn’t be more stark in their approach and their plans for the taxpayers. Marchetti read from a piece of paper that I’m sure he had help with, as it sounded eerily similar to Peter Whites introduction, both standing behind a podium. Krol stood in front of us all, gesturing his desire to make Pittsfield a better place not from a script, but from the heart. The opening statements for Krol were loving and hopeful. I left feeling that for once, I could raise my children in a better place, maybe even my grandchildren. When I left Peters, I felt like it’s Pittsfield as usual.

Krol mentioned the taxpayers (me), but Peter did not.

Whoever is writing on behalf of Marchetti (most likely Pete’s peeps) are stuffed with lies or making up garbage in an attempt to hide the truth from the public. Anyone who wants the “same Pittsfield” should vote for Marchetti. Those who want a better Pittsfield should vote for Krol.

You like downtown with all those empty storefronts? That’s what you’ve had for 8 years. Garbage north street. Want another 4 years of it? Vote Marchetti because he’s part of the problem. He’s been part of Pittsfield’s planning for a long, long time and never bows down to the Mayor. If you like Pittsfield the way it is right now, Marchetti is your man.

If you want Pittsfield to be better, a place to raise your children, grand children, and to bring Pittsfield to the way it used to be, then vote for Krol.

When I left Marchetti’s event I felt depressed. I was hoping I would hear something different because I genuinely like the guy. But It was sterile, safe, and everyone there looked terrified. I didn’t see a single hug take place.

When I left Krol’s event I felt hopeful. There were lots of hugs, it felt like I was in a room full of love, a room full of people. People who want better not only for everyone but for their children and grandchildren.

If you’re someone with a family who plans on sticking around and wants a better place to raise them, vote for John Krol.

If you don’t care and want the rich in our area to keep getting richer and we get stuck with the bills, vote for Marchetti.

My vote is for a better Pittsfield. I’m voting for John Krol.

You are not wrong on the observations. There was definitely something missing in Marchetti’s room that night, his husband, Jeff. The fact that Pete is running without Jeff behind him is bittersweet to say the least. I for one am surprised he’d still running. Jeff was a good man and a solid foundation which lifted Pete up.

I also want to point out that John is a used car salesman. He knows how to work the media to his advantage, between that and his personal practices in life, I have a lot of difficulty trusting his word on anything.

I haven’t decided who I am voting for yet, but I can assure you it will be an interesting race

I agree that Marchetti is a failure upon arrival. But Krol is a trained spin artist/salesman and if you fall for his performance you will pay the price. Barring another credible candidate, a Pittsfield home owners best option is to relocate the family.
This city is so buried in debt that if you are in the third grade right now your children’s children will still be paying for things like Waconah Park, the Pontoosuc recreational district, Bike Tracks, Pickle ball courts and 20 million dollars of neglected road work. Add to that 400 million of unfunded pension liabilities. Remember, no one has been watching the store for a long time now. And no one wants to do an audit to find out just what the damages are and/or how to fix or mitigate them. One can only speculate why.
Smart families who have done their homework have left or are making travel plans and checking out real schools for their kids. Don’t let your children grow up in the toxic quicksand that is Pittsfield, Ma. Offer them hope, not a trap they cannot get out of.

The annual ‘give back’ from Free Cash from 2013-206 (maybe ’17) was $2.5 million. Then it was dropped to $1 million henceforth. In 2020 (rough guess) the mayor offered even less – $750K. She and Kerwood were compelled by City Council, under a motion by Connell, to increase the draw to one million. Krol actually did strongly argue for that motion.

However, as Optimus Prime says, the goal should be reducing taxes: reducing spending starting with payroll. Much of payroll is non-productive – just an empty load of overhead. For Krol to make his case, he needs to separate Free Cash from tax policy.

Beware of the Free Cash argument posing as tax relief. It is not. Since Connell’s debate that prior season, the mayor now dangles Free Cash offset as a grand act of generosity and prudence. However, what it really does now is encourage departments and Finance to overbudget so they can look friendly to their tax payers every november with a padded FC account.

I was watching a podcast in which John could hear a crow cawing where others didn’t. I also hear John playing guitar and harmonica very nicely. G Man plays many instruments also, drums in particular, Marchetti I heard carry’s a mean tune singing. Maybe they could former a band. And let a City Manager come in and replace the Mayor.

I think he might go both ways. Doesn’t he seem to have many female characteristics?

I remember that cozy interview with the airport manager on his morning show years ago. What was her name?

Might want to double check your link. I’m not able to pull up the 2011 story.

Allison is his first wife’s name. Cara is current teacher/spouse and Melissa refers to Mazzeo who is helping with Krol’s campaign.

I’m sure there were lots of hugs at Andrea Harrington’s campaign kickoff when Krol said she would make us proud and touted her “vast experience” as a defense attorney with half a dozen court cases, all lost. She “took the Berkshires by storm with her message” according to Krol. You don’t ever EVER come back from something like that.

As with any job a persons resume and job history is important. I’d like to see John Krol’s work background. Length at each employment and reason for leaving each. We see Pete having a good position for many years in his public life as well as years on the council and I’d like to compare and contrast both. John seems to have emerged only to run for mayor and his words are words that anyone would say who is running but I’d like to know about his dedication and not just to his own ego boosting podcast series which is mostly a self serving endeavor. Where has he worked and when? how long at each job? why did he leave? His personal life is irrelevant to me although like others in other elections he seems to all of a sudden start showing how much of a family guy he is, I mean why not as for him it seems all about image and he needs to try and create one for himself that could possibly be believable and respected.(good luck)

Pete might not want to put his city council experience on a resume. Could backfire if someone checks what he actually did and did NOT do. Not sure he read the actual job description and if he did that is even worse.

Their ultimate goal of the far left is to have male and female blend into one so we have very compliant people who are easy to control.

I think candidates all, who run for whatever should be held accountable for what they say their going to do. Wasn’t it Tyer besides doing nothing for almost eight years, campaign on blight? What we can ask the candidates also is who will be in the administration. Will they keep holdovers like the mayors two assistants? Kufflinks? The city Attorney? Many more.

Makes sense for the brand really. I’m good with it.

Use a person who has no female qualities to sell a beverage that has no quality of beer.

Not good with it. Use a person who has a penis and testicles to play dress up as a woman. A real woman should have got that part. No different than someone wearing black face. Fuck Budweiser.

No matter what one camp says about the other camp’s candidate——it doesn’t help me decide. They’re probably both telling the truth about their opponent.

Unfortunately it just doesn’t matter! It just doesn’t matter! It just doesn’t matter! It just doesn’t matter. A little love to Meatballs. Pittsfield will always be lead by idiots. Unfortunately the small percentage of voters our idiots and they are the largest percentage of voters in the shrinking city. # town government now. # Town Manager!

In response to I Berkshire article about the increase to homelessness in Pittsfield. I believe the increase is because Boston ( State Government) is dumping there less desirables on our gateway city. To make matters worst, our local government is playing there games expanding facilities. First street, West Housatonic and Fenn street, build it and they will come. Dumb asses
