THE CIRCUS IS IN TOWN: TRUMP INDICTMENT GUARANTEES TUESDAY WILL NOT BE A SLOW NEWS DAY!

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY APRIL 3, 2023) — They get the mug shot and the perp walk.

That’s all the Democrats want. Their indictment of Donald Trump in an orchestration worthy of Arturo Toscanini and Seiji Ozawa.

It may doom the Trump candidacy in 2024 and give Rick DeSantis the inside track, or, as many observers think, it could be just the ticket for The Donald’s second stint if the Oval Office. For example, in wake of the indictment, his fund-raising dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree … or Ted Williams‘ instrument panel on his Panther F9F that crash landed in Korea. Trump raised a record 44 million Saturday alone. Money’s pouring in; have they tripped the alarm on a sleeping giant?

One Dem consultant worried that the effect would boomerang so badly that Trump would have to declare the indictment as an in-kind contribution to his presidential bid. THE PLANET won’t go that far. Impossible to say at this point.

The move by George Soros‘ Uncle Tom, NYC D.A. Alvin Bragg, exemplifies the Democrats’ strategy of “pick a target [Trump], invent a crime.” Nearly every legal expert we read agreed the case is flimsy, with a conviction unlikely … unless the judge and jury, too, are bought off. How would that be for the Trump-fixated Dems. the exploding cigar that would be a not guilty verdict?

THE PLANET isn’t a lawyer. We don’t play one on TV. We have, however, watched a ton of Perry Mason (Raymond Burr era), and we see the charges as a stretch worthy of  Willie McCovey picking a ball on a bang-bang play at first.

———- ooo ———-

Why did Bragg bring these charges? For taking countless millions in kickbacks from his son for the boy’s shady dealings with Ukraine biggies, the way Syracuse Joe, aka “The Big Guy,” evidently did with his lad Hunter? For inheriting a great economy with low inflation and killing both? For criminally playing up the pandemic for political purposes?

No.

Anyone who knows anything about indictments knows a seal usually indicates a case so weak that the prosecution doesn’t dare reveal it. Nothing there, folks, except more of the pronoun/gender obscessed Leftist Loon politics that are destroying The United States of Amnesia even as we write.

Amazingly, we still do not know the specific charges. Can you spell “w-i-t-c-h-u-n-t?”

After day is done tommorow, Democrats will have what they’ve wanted all along, the mug shot and the perp walk. That same night, Trump will speak to ratings probably rivaling the Super Bowl. Reminds THE PLANET of the old caution of being careful about the things for which you wish.

———- ooo ———-

Here are a few excerpts from other commentary:

From The National Review:

The idea of going after a former president, with all the political consequences involved, on such a piddling charge was so self-evidently absurd that no minimally self-respecting prosecutor would do it.

From 1440 Daily Digest (“Fact, Not Motives”):

A Manhattan grand jury indicted former President Donald Trump yesterday on charges related to alleged hush money payments to adult film star Stephanie Gregory Clifford, also known as Stormy Daniels, and a potential second woman. Trump has denied the charges since they were first made; see his statement from yesterday evening here. … The central allegation in the case is that Trump violated campaign finance laws by reimbursing his former lawyer Michael Cohen for a $130K payment to Daniels to stay quiet about her relationship with Trump in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election. See an overview of the case here.

From an AP report:

Reports suggest New York officials are negotiating with the former president’s legal team over specifics, with an arraignment possible Tuesday. Trump, who becomes the first former president to face criminal charges, has said the case wouldn’t impact his 2024 presidential campaign.

Harvard Law prof emeritus Alan Dershowitz: “When you’re going after the man who is running for president of the United States against the incumbent president, you better have a strong case, and this is about the weakest case I’ve seen in 60 years of law practice,” he said. “It’s banana republic time.”

———- ooo ———-

One thing for sure about tomorrow: The circus has arrived. It won’t be a slow news day.

Why would you want to throw water on an oil fire?” — Sir Donald Turpentine, Knight of the Bath.

The globalist Marxists may think they are helping Trump to be the Republican nominee and they think this will weaken him enough so Biden wins, whatever these drunk on power crazy people are doing, they are attempting to interfere with an election. Biden is distancing himself to avoid any taint of knowing what is going on with this persecution of Trump, but it’s a far left district attorney doing this so Biden is completely aware of what was going to happen because it all benefits him in 2024. These far left Soros backed district attorneys have been stirring up trouble across the country and now one of them in New York is trying to help Biden win a 2nd term. Leticia James, another Soros backed New York District attorney has been attacking Trump on another front with his taxes. Is anyone seeing a pattern here?

Stop watching MSNBC, CNN, Rachel Maddow and the View. They lie repeatedly about Trump while portraying Biden as Mother Teresa. Anything the far left does is perfect and not to be questioned. They are only out to help people is the lie they are pushing while they continue to tighten the noose around each American with their economic policies and climate hysteria. Banks may collapse next and Biden wants to get rid of the dollar. He wants globalists from across the world to control us over here in this country. Trump and his policies or somebody like DeSantis who also wants to keep Americans free from government oppression are the only hope for this country.

What case is the worst one:
1. Donald Trump’s alleged hush money payment to a porn star?
2. Hunter Biden bringing the half of his age mother of his unwanted 4-year-old girl to an upcoming bench trial on July 24th, 2023, over his monthly child support payments?
3. The ICC issuing an arrest warrant for Putin, and then Putin responding in kind by escalating the threat of nuclear war against the West?
4. Mayor Linda Tyer’s third husband Barry Clairmont suing Melissa Mazzeo because she accused him of corruption in Pittsfield politics and Melissa Mazzeo not agreeing to apologize to him over the most trivial of matters from over 3 years ago?

Please let us not forget that Bill Clinton, who is a Democrat, is a twice Convicted Felon for perjuring himself in Paula Jones’ Sexual Harassment case against him whereby he ended up settling the civil case with her because he had his penis exposed to her wanting her to give him a blowjob when she entered a room for a job interview when he was Governor of Arkansas. Bill Clinton’s second Felony conviction was for Suborning Perjury for directing Monica Lewinsky to write a false legal Affidavit that they never had sex. In the end, Monica Lewinsky admitted to giving U.S. President Bill Clinton up to 9 blowjobs, including the sleazy Prez putting a cigar in her vagina and then smoking it while he was receiving Monica Lewinsky’s blowjobs in the Oval Office, which was sarcastically called the “Oral Orifice”.

Lastly, whether it was Bill Clinton or Donald Trump, the real issue here is “Moral Hypocrisy”! Over one-half of the Members of U.S. Congress were having sex love affairs with their staff during Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Over one-half of the Members of U.S. Congress were settling sexual misconduct cases with hush money – NDAs – and running for reelection just like Donald Trump allegedly did with Stormy Daniels. In NYC, billionaire now former-Mayor Michael Bloomberg paid more hush money to his love interest ladies over the years/decades than there are floors on the Empire State Building, which ended up sinking his presidential campaign in 2020 and his disgraced political career.

As much as I didn’t care for President Clinton, he didn’t pay hush money. He ,as you stated, paid a settlement. He was sued by Jones and her settlement ($850,000) was made in the public and on record. Clinton paid half of the settlement out of his own pocket and the other half was paid by an insurance company he had a deal with.

That is true. Bill would travel with this strange guard retinue that would scope out women and solicit them on his behalf in motels etc… “The governor is sleeping upstairs and would like you to join him. I’m not allowed to accept No for an answer.”

Today, that behavior would look like intimidation and coercion. Come to think of it, it would look and feel like coercion back then too.

Bill Clinton didn’t need to pay hush money – he had full control over his mistresses. But, then there is Gennifer Flowers. Clinton advises her to lie if asked whether she talked to him about accepting a job from his connections. “In a subsequent conversation, Clinton specifically counsels Flowers to say “no” if she is asked about whether she discussed the state job with him.”

He says he did it because he’s a mensch. Just being considerate.

And there is this gem, “Flowers never sought to go public. Her name was put out there against her will when former Clinton insider Larry Nichols, who claimed he was improperly dismissed by Clinton from a state job, mentioned Flowers in court documents. In a lawsuit, Nichols alleged that Clinton diverted state funds to engage in extramarital affairs with five women, and he named Flowers, and four others, including former Miss America Elizabeth Ward Gracen and former Miss Arkansas Lencola Sullivan.”

Transcript/copy from Breitbart: Turns out he is an expert on Bill ability to suck a tennis ball through a hose.

Check him out – it’s fun!

““If they ever asked if you’d talked to me about it, you can say no,” Clinton can be heard saying in the audio.

Clinton was referring to news media inquiries about Flowers’ alleged affair with Clinton and Flowers’ concern that the media could raise questions about how she landed her job as administrative assistant for the Arkansas Appeal Tribunal.

Clinton can also be heard advising Flowers on how to handle a grievance filed by a woman who applied for the same position and alleged that she was more qualified that Flowers. The complainant implied that Flowers was only hired because of her alleged relationship with Clinton.
From December 1990 to December 1991, Flowers famously recorded a series of conversations with Clinton during the period he was Governor of Arkansas and considering a run for the presidency.

On October 1991, Clinton announced his bid for the Oval Office, with rumors of extramarital affairs threatening to derail his campaign.
Flowers recently provided this reporter with complete original cassette recordings of her taped conversations with Clinton, recordings that take on renewed significance as the issue of Clinton’s alleged treatment of women has reemerged during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The sections of the audio recordings related to the state job are not exclusive to Breitbart News. Those excerpts were played for the news media in 1992, one day after Bill and Hillary Clinton appeared side by side on 60 Minutes, where Bill denied a relationship with Flowers.
Clinton later admitted to one sexual encounter with Flowers in a 1998 deposition for the Paula Jones lawsuit.

The audio segments about the state job were widely reported by the news media in the 1990’s. However, the details may warrant revisiting amid numerous Clinton financial scandals that have since surfaced alleging pay-for-play, including those tied to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative.

In one section of the audio, which can be heard above, Flowers discusses the grievance filed against her and informs Clinton that she was being questioned about how she obtained the position.

Clinton says “Good for you,” when Flowers tells him that she found out about the job from a newspaper advertisement and pursued it from there.

Here is a transcript of that part of the audio:
GF – But anyway, then Wednesday, there was a grievance filed in my office when I got the job by a girl who felt like she should have gotten it, a black girl named (deleted). And they called me as a witness. So I go in and uh, nothing big came of it. It’s just that they were questioning me about how I found out about the job. And I said, “Well, that personnel said it that it was a possibility there would be a position,” and then uh, “they told me that it would be advertised in the newspaper. And it was and I pursued it from there.
BC – Good for you.
GF – Well, it caught me off guard ‘cause I… at first I just didn’t know… I just didn’t expect that for some reason. I thought about a whole lot of things about my qualifications and all that business, but I didn’t think about that.
BC – Yeah.
In the next section of the audio, Flowers expresses concern that the news media, which was asking her questions about the alleged affair, could find out about the state job.
GF: Yeah. We had a little bit of a scare recently because she had a spot on an X-ray. And she went and had it checked again and it wasn’t cancer. And it’s been almost, it’ll be two years in May that she’s now diagnosed cancer free. My stepfather has been through two angioplasties, but he’s doing good. And I am, I’m really, Bill what I’m afraid of is that if somebody in the press finds out that I’m working for the state.
BC – Yeah.
GF – They’re going to make a big deal of it.
BC – Yeah.
In a subsequent conversation, Clinton specifically counsels Flowers to say “no” if she is asked about whether she discussed the state job with him.
Here is a transcript:
GF – Well the only thing that concerns me, where I’m, where I’m concerned at this point is the state job.
BC – Yeah. I never thought about that, but as long as you say you’ve just been looking for one, you’d uh, check on it. If they ever asked if you’d talked to me about it, you can say no.

GF – Well and I would. But I’m… here is the thing I’ve got to consider, too, is I’ve gotta go in there to work every day. You know what I mean?
BC – Yep.
GF – And if, and if these people start talking or someone in the press…
BC – Well, have they been nice to you there?
GF – Yeah they have been. But I don’t, you know, I mean, I just want you to know what’s going on. And I’ll be glad to hang in there.
BC – Has the, has the…
GF – But if it gets real…
BC – Has the grievance committee ruled yet?
GF – No. Not that I am aware of. Uh, I forget the guy’s name that appeared to be the head of it. Dudley or Dewey. Is there a Dudley or a Dewy or somebody? Do you know?
BC – I don’t know.
GF – Don Barnes was there. And of course…
BC – Is he happy with you?
GF – Well sure. (Laughter.) I’m good. I’m good at what I do, Bill.
BC – I know.
GF – But Don was, you know. He… He pretty much… When this guy was trying to beat up on me a little, said, “hey, I don’t see the relevance of this” and dadada. And then the head of the grievance committee said “I don’t either and I think we need to go on and you know go, not go along with this line of questioning.” And then that was about it except for just some other minor questions. But I found that curious that he would ask me how I found out about the job.
BC – Yeah.
GF – Now maybe at this point I’m paranoid but I mean no one has mentioned anything about it to me at all but I just found that, that I found interesting.
BC – Yeah.
In another conversation, Clinton tells Flowers that he will “nose around” to see if he can find out more about the issue, and he asked her whether the person who filed the grievance was being represented by a lawyer.
BC – Alright. I’m gonna nose around, if I find out anything I’ll call you. And meanwhile, uh, I can understand this grievance thing. I’ll, I’ll run that down.

F – Well I don’t think there’ll be any problem there from what I understand, you know, that her deal was to either have my job or for them to create a position equal to mine.
BC – Uh huh.
GF – But it’s my understanding that then it’ll go to… even if they say yes, created position for her.
BC – Uh huh.
GF – That’s the same as Gennifer’s. Don Barnes can always say, “No, I won’t” and period. That’s it.
BC – That’s right. I mean that’s my understanding. So…
BC- Yeah. And then she could sue, but I doubt if she will. Was she there with a lawyer or a representative of any kind?

GF – She had a guy that works for the tribunal represent her which I thought was very inappropriate.
BC – Uh huh. Well, I guess maybe they do that for people…
Contacted yesterday by Breitbart News, Flowers explained why she says she turned to Clinton for help securing the state job.

She stated:
I found out my Mom had cancer and decided I wanted a regular job so I would have my weekends to spend with her. I was performing six nights a week and wouldn’t of had time. I asked to get me the job and he did.
In her deposition for the Paula Jones case, Flowers detailed Clinton’s alleged involvement in helping her secure the state job.

Here is her affidavit on that matter:

In early 1990 I told Bill Clinton that I wanted a job with the state. Bill Clinton told me to contact his assistant Judy Gaddy who would assist me with the application for employment. I met with Judy Gaddy in her office and she provided me with the details of what needed to be on the application. Judy Gaddy also told me to contact Clara Clark who set up a job interview for me. I was eventually employed by the state as an administrative assistant for the Arkansas Appeal Tribunal.

Shortly after I was employed by the state, another woman who had applied for my job filed a grievance or some sort of complaint in which she alleged that she was more qualified and implied that the only reason I got the job was because I had had an affair with Bill Clinton. I was called to testify before a panel in connection with this proceeding. When I learned that I would have to testify, I did not know what to do, so I called Bill Clinton. I told him that I had been called to testify and asked what I should say. He told me to deny that we had ever had an affair. During the proceeding, when questions came up about my relationship to Bill, Don Barnes, his appointee and head of the commission, stopped the questioning.

In 1992, Michael Isikoff reported at the Washington Post that Clinton’s office admitted that it helped Flowers obtain the job in June 1991, while denying allegations that Flowers was Clinton’s mistress. Clinton’s office maintained that Clinton only helped Flowers because the politician felt bad that she was being hounded by the media over the sex allegations.

Isikoff reported:

Gov. Bill Clinton’s office said today that Clinton assigned a member of his staff to help Gennifer Flowers find a state job in September 1990 after she asked for his assistance.
Michael Gauldin, Clinton’s press secretary, also released two handwritten notes he said Flowers had written to Clinton. The first, in 1986, said she would appreciate his help in finding a job. The second, dated Feb. 23, 1991, complained that the assistant assigned to help her was not being very “successful.” …

Gauldin said Clinton was interested in helping her in part because he “felt responsible for all the women” who were being hounded by reporters after they were named in an unsuccessful 1990 lawsuit in which a state employee alleged the governor had used state funds in furtherance of extramarital affairs.

In the 1986 letter, Flowers enclosed a resume, said she “certainly enjoyed speaking with you by phone,” and said “anything you can do” to help with employment would be “appreciated.”

In the 1991 “Dear Bill” letter, Flowers complained that the staff aide Clinton assigned to the matter, special assistant Judy S. Caddy, “has not been very successful in the job hunting area.”

“Bill, I’ve tried to explain my financial situation to you and how badly I need a job,” Flowers wrote. She said she was enclosing “some correspondence that will be of interest to you” – a letter written by a lawyer she had hired threatening to sue a local radio station for repeating the 1990 allegations. The letter, which had previously been released by Clinton, said the allegations were untrue.
“Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to pursue the law suit to hopefully, get some money to live on until I can get employment,” Flowers ended the note. “Please be in touch.”

In 1998, the Washington Post again reported on the matter:

Flowers said her affair with Clinton had been over for at least a year but that about the time of the Nichols suit, she was looking for a job and turned to the governor.

Clinton agreed to help find her a position at an Arkansas state agency, Flowers said, and enlisted a political appointee named Don Barnes. Efforts to contact Barnes last night were unsuccessful.

“I don’t know Vernon Jordan, and I don’t know whether he is or is not telling the truth,” Flowers said. “But it reminds me of [1990] in regard to a position that Vernon Jordan supposedly arranged for Monica Lewinsky.”

Flowers was hired by the Arkansas Appeal Tribunal, a state agency, after an interview Barnes arranged and sat in on, according to Flowers’ 1995 written account of her relationship with Clinton.

It’s a transcript of a phone conversation that Flowers recorded. He is coaching her on how to conceal his securing employment for her in exchange for her silence as he prepares his public life.

In this case, Clinton engages a third party to secure the gig. The catch is that he does not get extorted by Flowers – no one ever dared to cross him. Now Clinton does say that he felt sorry for his mistresses and just wanted to compensate them for the public scrutiny. Sure. That sounds just like a Clinton.

Whether we want to vote for Trump or not, that’s not the point. This is political persecution and many Americans see this as unfairness on so many levels. Two sets of justice for the political parties since the left gets away with everything. Many Trump voters may think that DeSantis would be the better candidate, but the far left keeps intentionally pushing Trump into the spotlight with all of these investigations which is why I think THEY want him as the 2024 Republican candidate.

I suppose 38% are chomping at the bit to fight a war over Taiwan and funnel our entire GDP to the a war machine feeding Ukraine. Senator Gillibrandt NY, the Daddy Warbucks war profiteer is certainly a happy lady.

Dan, I do not believe Biden will run again. I think he is playing with y’all. There are a dozen democrats who will toss their hats in the ring when Biden announces he will not run again. And he will be chuckling when he says it because he will have never intended to run in the first place. If the democrats can get the republicans to focus on Biden they might miss what is coming up behind them.

Just sayin…

I agree Dan that Tuesday will be a circus. Bring on the clowns. I think the far left really wants Trump as the presidential opponent for Biden. They think Biden will do a repeat of 2020 so they won’t hurt Trump enough to keep him out of the election just enough to keep up the public opinion working against him they hope. Biden hasn’t said he is running yet which I believe is intentional so nobody can say that Biden is attacking a political opponent and yet Trump is a political opponent and Biden is going after him with these attack dog DA’s.

I disagree with your analysis Pat. I believe the left is terrified of running anyone against Trump as he has massive support especially since the Dems are completely tanking and surrendering our country to the globalists. Even tho the Dems have mastered voting manipulation, Trump commands enormous support & respect of the American public. Reports are that the D.A. will put a gag order on Trump to prevent him from campaigning.
Biden cannot hide in his basement for another election cycle. He belongs in a nursing home.

I would vote for Trump if he is the candidate, but I would also vote for DeSantis or really anyone opposing the far left agenda. Who is the best candidate to go against Biden is the question. Who can win? I think the left has decided that Biden could more easily beat Trump. I think they are wrong, but that’s what they believe.

I thought it might be DeSantis as well. But he is bending over backwards alienating the gay folk and the black folk which carry a large number of votes in Florida. Also has mentioned messing with social security and he runs a state loaded with senior citizens. Did not make a lot of friends when he went after Disney either and then they made a fool of him. His numbers started high but have sunk low in the last two months. There are much better candidates back stage ready to announce as soon as the Trump debris field is cleared away.

But just imagine that AG’s from Red States commence indicting Democrat politicians: Biden for crimes against the border & human/drug smuggling, Jpe for money laundering CCP cash via Hunter’s fake art, Hillary for illegal communication of state business on secret servers (and destroying all traces after subpoena), Bill for trading jobs for silence to squelch testimony, Obama for trading with Putin withdrawing Eastern Euro military support for election help, Pelosi for insider trading, Swalwell for espionage just to scrape the surface. You don’t have to agree any of this happened, there is sufficient probability to earn indictments. It could easily become a populist road to election for reds too.

Say hello to the new Cold Civil War, started yet again by the Democrat Party. Yet again, ‘Northerners’ and ‘Southerners’ – beware of stepping into a hostile State.

Maybe we are entering an era of “you indict one of ours, we’ll indict ALL of yours” detente to keep the peace. Once it begins, you really can’t stop it.

Hasn’t ignited yet. But, the talk is beginning. They are wrong to rejoice this indictment – it can’t be that different from the eagerness the Southern boys showed to go to war in April 12, 1861. They sure got the date right for this.

Despite what Bonner & FH say, people see persecution in the D.C. gulag where there are 1000 people dead to rights with no charges and therefore, no lawyers. That perception, accurate or not, won’t be fixed by adding another 1,000 to their ranks.

Did you see/hear hMarchettis rollout speech at Berkshire Hills? I thought Steve Colberts comedy writers must have put that one together because it was hysterical in its absurdity. But if he really believes all that praise he heaped upon himself he has bigger problems than being a woefully inept city council president. Kinda scary actually.

He has a vision of “One Pittsfield”? Really? Why did he not do anything to create a “One Pittsfield” while he had all the power of a city council president? Answer me that Peter!

I have been waiting to see if anyone else would have noticed but I see a parallel between the current Democrat Party and the 1930 Nazi Party. The government is politicized and armed. As Chuckie Schumer stated on tape Trump pissed off the CIA and you don’t do that because they will get you one way or another! Why is there such vindictiveness towards this one person? How much money has the government spent illegally spying on him, investigating him, taking him to court? If I was a Democrat I would be very embarrassed, however my history with them makes me think they don’t know enough to feel embarrassed even though they are making fools of themselves and ruining our county and country!! People should start becoming Libertarians and force a smaller more responsible government!

One notable absence is Helen “Handgun” Moon and her band of low IQ ‘defund the police’ followers. You know, the cultural competency coach, OB, and Denny.

If she and the gang show up at Lover Boy Krol’s kick-off event, better choose wisely if these two are the only options.

From the Berkshire Eagle:
City Council President Peter Marchetti kicks off his campaign for mayor with vision of ‘One Pittsfield’
PITTSFIELD — One Pittsfield.
That’s the rallying cry of Peter Marchetti, the longtime City Council president, who officially kicked off his second mayoral bid on Monday. The local banker took out nomination papers Monday afternoon before hosting a crowded kickoff event at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.
Marchetti is one of two announced candidates. Former City Council Vice President John Krol, who is also seeking the mayor’s office, will host his own kickoff event at the Italian-American Club on Tuesday night.

Standing at the center of the country club’s dance floor, Marchetti promised to use what he said is his proven dedication and leadership in Pittsfield to guide the city through its next chapter.

“Pittsfield has built a great foundation and it is time to build on that foundation — a foundation that I was proud to help build,” Marchetti said. “As Pittsfield enters its next chapter, it’s imperative that we develop and target a course that will provide assistance to all in a post-pandemic era. I will lead with a management style that places communication and collaboration at the forefront.”

Marchetti’s contributions to city life were an integral part of his campaign kickoff.
To introduce the candidate, City Council Vice President Pete White gave the crowd a run-down of Marchetti’s resume.
Highlights of Marchetti’s career include 16 years on the council — eight of which were as president — a longtime role as the president of the city’s parade committee, board seats with Pittsfield Community Television, Berkshire United Way and Downtown Pittsfield Inc., among other organizations. and more than 30 years as a youth bowling coach. “When people tell me I’m involved in a lot of things, I think I have tons of time compared to Peter,” White said.
“We’re at a point in Pittsfield where we need steady, consistent leadership that knows that listening and communication are key to our future success,” White continued, “leadership that Peter will give us.”

Marchetti spent much of his speech talking about how he’d continue Pittsfield on its current path, rather than lobbing many pointed critiques at prior administrations. Though that’s not to say the longtime councilor didn’t see room for improvement. “We need to continue our work to improve government efficiency,” Marchetti said, adding the city can’t neglect its responsibilities related to parks, schools, public buildings, water and sewer services, trash, roads and infrastructure issues. “We must find ways to stabilize tax burdens to make the government work smarter and not harder and provide more for less,” he said. Part of Marchetti’s plan to make city services more approachable and responsible include a commitment to a “public and transparent process” in the selection of the next police chief, the creation a liaison for “all aspects of the tourism and hospitality industry” and the creation of two quarterly roundtables on the topics of business and education.
Marchetti’s vision is beginning to show signs of support. His campaign reported $6,583 on hand to the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance as of the end of March. Campaign members said just over 200 people attended the campaign event Monday, which included a suggested donation of $50. Among them were Rep. Tricia Farley-Bouvier, Mayor Linda Tyer, city councilors Pete White, Kevin Sherman, Ken Warren, Earl Persip III, Patrick Kavey, Dina Lampiasi; School Committee member Mark Brazeau; Licensing Board member Dick Stockwell; Community Development Board member Floriana Fitzgerald; Zoning Board of Appeals member John Fitzgerald; several local union officials and a multitude of former city officials.
To a room full of city leaders, Marchetti committed to a mantra: “I can lead, I will lead and together we will
accomplish great work.”

Biden smiling like a Cheshire Cat today when asked about the Trump indictment speaks volumes about his involvement in this. He’s got all of these corrupt players on his side, the media and these corrupt DA’s, and he is just grinning from ear to ear as he watches his competition go through this. Democratic Socialist: uses democratic elections to secure victory and makes certain that being the last election. Bernie’The Burn’ is a self-declared democratic socialist and he means what he says.

During the 1930’s, the socialists broke up – the winners called themselves socialists (subdivided into marxists, leninists) and the losers were called fascists as a way to explain the germans alliance with the fascist party. They are and remain socialists, but you may call them fascists if you like.
