PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY APRIL 17, 2023) — Just another Patriot’s Day in the Bay State.

After another dude from Africa wins the Boston Marathon and the Red Sox lose their 11 a.m. game. When it reduces to the rest of the day, however, THE PLANET must have a word with young Mr. Jack Teixeira, 21, a pineappled Beavis with Top Ultra Secret Triple Double Security Clearance in Today’s U.S. Military, in this case, the Air National Guard.

Authorities busted Airman at his parents house (of course) in North Dighton, Mass., about 35 miles outside Boston.

Yeah, he’s a local!

———- ooo ———-

Beavis Teixeira is a fine example of the unfit recruits to be found in this woman’s Army: an entitled lot of youngsters brought up on the belief that the world owes them a living.

In case you missed it, Beavis, an IT geek, released a huge set of military secrets that reveals Pentagon strategies with respect to Ukraine as well as a harvest from the spying Uncle Sam does on our ALLIES.

As the saying goes, with friends like that …

Our overseas “friends” are mighty hot.

If this geek did so because of some worthy motive — transparency, for example, or even money — THE PLANET might be able to add a small helping of mitigation. But this isn’t Julian Assange or Eric Snowden. This is a kid born in 2002 who did it to impress the chuckleheads and Buttheads in a social media chat room called Discord, another of those endless tech platforms that specialize in intellectual inbreeding, the product of which is the type of protean blob seen in Teixeira … and in America’s public schools.

———- ooo ———-

Problem is that in today’s all-volunteer military, there are MANY Jack Teixeiras, kids (largely, still kids) who have been raised on social media, can’t live without it, and game day and night. Walk into a recreation room at any military base, veterans tell you, and you will see loads of gamers on taxpayer-funded gaming systems, playing superhero or slithering around into the incredible darkness and negativity of today’s more perilous games.

They inhabit a world of fantasy, which they carry over into what THE PLANET (and The Kapanski’s) experience as “reality.” This “real” world is a far too unfriendly place for them, having been raised to expect a trophy, a medal, and a certificate every time since their first finger painting in pre-school.

These are the lads (primarily) and lassies occupying the digital trenches the United States Cyber Defense Operations — the ones who have Top Security clearance and who game with other robots around and the world. These “others” are anonymous and could as easily be a North Korean agent as a school kid on a farm in Nebraska. Hackers and IT squads the world over are picking our pockets clean, and our “leaders” haven’t a clue on how to stop it.

———- ooo ———-

Teixeira obtained his Top Secret clearance at the ripe old age of 20. He first had to sign a binding non-disclosure agreement that spelled out the criminality of spilling.

THE PLANET repeats, for this is a crucial distinction. We’re not talking about a journalist exposing the military’s creep-ops (Assange) or a civilian employee releasing info on America’s duplicitousness in dealing with allies or its own people (Snowden). This is a clueless slacker playing big shot to impress his group of 50 on Discord.

Funny thing about the internet, though. Once you release something to one person, it’s fair game to everyone in the world.

The blame for this? In the specific case of Teixeira, trace it back to The Buck Doesn’t Stop Here, that is, the desk of Syracuse Joe.

———- ooo ———-

THE PLANET finds it phunny in a tragic way that when officials learned of Teixeira’s actions, 46 was appearing with that 21-century H. L. Mencken, happy-dippy Al Roker. Big Al asked Biden biting questions about the White House Easter egg hunt. The President couldn’t even handle those softballs without stumbling. And you wonder why our Commander-in-Chief doesn’t do press conference or appear before reporters on-the-cuff?

While Biden is being grilled by Roker, French leader Emmanuel Macron is going head-to-head with China’s Ji Jinping. Think about that.

Meanwhile, Biden pours countless billions into the sinkhole of Ukraine, which, THE PLANET is obliged to add, does not belong to NATO.

It’s a very strange world we live in, Master Jack.

His motive may not have been noble. But He exposed the farce that is “The War in Ukraine”.

It’s a big embarrassment for the people running our government (the string pullers, nobody who holds office or was elected), and the fake news MSM.

Americans have been fed a shit sandwich for 1 1/2 years by Traitor Joe and the MSM, as to: the the hows and whys of the war, the war’s progress and reporting itself, and the wholesale looting of the US Military’s equipment and Treasury’s (really American peoples) wealth.

The money and equipment given to Joe’s buddy, er installed (installed just like a toilet, and that goes for Biden too) transvestite Zelensky, is not accounted for. It never will be.

Various bad actors in the US Government have visited Ukraine, not out of concerns for/about the war, but so they will get their share of the graft/loot/plunder. Who? To name a few……Romneys, Kerrys, Pelouseys, and of course Hunter and the rest of the Biden crime family.

The accounts of the war in the “news”, is mostly fabricated.

How the 20 year old NG soldier got this information, tells us a lot about our new “woke” Military. A military which is more concerned with: “correct pronouns”, CRT, and diversity, than being an effective force to defend our nation.

Very well said Trap. When I was in the military, I held a Secret clearance my entire 4 years.

I had to jump through many hoops to get that level of clearance. The scrutiny my buddies who held TS clearances went through was much more detailed, to include a home/neighborhood visit.

How a low ranking National Guardsmen got ahold of what he had, would have NEVER happened years ago. To many security measures in place. No social media. I do get that. Nobody in our day wanted to be a media ‘influencer.’

Luckily I got out before Clinton made it acceptable for a couple of guys to get comfy in a foxhole together.

Today’s military agenda is a further example of what woke politics have done to our once proud military.

Can’t steal the elections no more. Only WWIII will ensure the Xiden/Sotero regime keep their reign.

All over Ukraine.

TSC, JM, Mr Worldwide, be ready to volunteer your services to patch up our wounded soldiers. You helped install this.

Our proxy involvement in Ukraine is different from, say, our direct involvement in Vietnam. I had a TS in VN. The VN war (or, American war) was more of a civil war than a hegemonic territory grab. The $$ spent on Ukraine is justifiable because we are trying to halt Russian annexation of portions of a sovereign state.

How come Crimea didn’t matter than Wanna? That happened in 2014 under Barry Sotero.

We didn’t care about Russian annexation then. So why do we care now? Well besides money laundering to the DNC and the corrupt Xiden family of course.

Will you care when China starts moving on Taiwan soon?

Good point. I think wannabe shares JM’s historical ignorance. Wannabe: this is the result of calling ‘knowledge’ the combining of mNSB and CNN. You are multiplying zeros. Multiplying Zero always yields Zero. Zero is undesirable as it implies a quantity – you must aspire to null: empty set that wants a value.

The Russians and Ukrainians are in a perpetual state of war with Crimea as the prize. Every 50 years, the Russians mass a massive army and march on the Ukrainians, killing hundred of thousands of both them and their own. It’s clockwork!

This is the nature of an atavistic organism that tends to revert to an archaic form. The Russians in particular are an atavistic species always reverting to a failed past.

Makes good math and captures an abstract value – the value of no value, but in logical applications, it is often confused with ‘NULL’

And it really is sad what they are doing over there. It’s unreadable.

Would be better if we gave more theoretical assistance and the Euro’s gave concrete.

“”The trend across the board in European armies has been cutting, cutting, cutting,” according to Christian Mölling, a defense expert at the German Council on Foreign Relations. “But, at the end of the day, many were on the same track as Germany: War is a theoretical thing,” he told The New York Times in late February. “So we have theoretical tanks.”

We give them our weapons, Euro’s give them their refuse.

You just are not very smart at all.
All three men exposed the lies of various administrations about wars.
The lies about preparedness, civilian deaths, military doctrines that are outdated.

The war in Ukraine, he showed how all that money was sent over there and how it was stolen by Zelenskyy and how part was recycled back to “the big guy”.
Zelenskyy’s wife can fly to Paris in designer clothes while begging for more money for the “war”.
Taiwan and Biden can claim readiness but we now know biden is setting up Taiwan to be fed to the Chinese.

Poor Dan has to claim a lack of logic in my argument because he’s too dumb to understand the context.

The comment is both valid and logical much more so than the word salad Dan craps out.

U.S. Civilian turned Traitor Edward Snowden was only 19 years old when he released national security intelligence information and data to the world. U.S. Army National Guard Soldier Jack Teixeira is 21 years old, and he is facing federal criminal charges of espionage for releasing national security intelligence information and data to the world. The U.S.A. has and still is foolishly entrusting teenagers and young adults in their early 20s with national security intelligence information and data. Edward Snowden fled to Putin in Russia, where he now has a family over there. The U.S. Government is losing its influence in most of Europe because the European overseas countries are dependent on Russia’s energy supplies and China’s manufacturing supplies. The U.S. Government protects most of Europe with its almost $1 trillion per fiscal year military budget. Joe Biden if facing the reality of OPEC’s cut in oil production that will begin in 2 weeks on May 1st, 2023, when U.S. demand for travel will be heading towards in peak months. How much money will U.S. citizens pay at the gas pump to travel during the late-Spring and Summer months of 2023? I hope it won’t be $5 per gallon per gas again like it was for a time during that same period of time last year 2022, which led to candidate Joe Biden breaking his 2020 campaign promises to stand up to MBS and Saudi Arabia’s notorious record of Human Rights abuses and role in the terrorist attack on the U.S.A. on 9/11/2001 when the sitting U.S. President traveled to Saudi Arabia and fist-bumped MBS on the world stage before meeting with the Saudi dictator to beg MBS for increased oil exports on July 15, 2022. In 2020, then challenger Joe Biden took then sitting U.S. President Donald Trump to the mat for Trump’s favoritism with MBS and Saudi Arabia, but the 2022 midterm elections that turned the U.S. House of Representatives by a margin of 222 – 213 in the Republican’s favor and kept the U.S. Senate 51 – 49 in the Democrat’s favor proved far more important than Joe Biden’s campaign promises.

JM:

Admiral Piondexter, convicted emeritus of the Reagan Administration, commissioned the surveillance machine that spied on every American’s every conversation. Snowden blew the whistle. Yes, he defected to Russia, and I grant him that because that would be the only state that is beyond the long reach of Federal assassins and bounty hunters.

That you, who despises the Founding Fathers, would take Poindexter over Snowden is not surprising.

I do NOT despise the Founding Fathers. I do, however, point out that most of them, including the classical U.S. Presidents, owned Slaves. There were other nations that outlawed Slavery during the era of so-called classical liberty. The Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War writings blamed British Colonialism under King George III for Slavery in the 13 American Colonies turned States. France, which outlawed Slavery and treated black people and other minorities as equal citizens back then, came to the Founding Fathers’ aid in the name of Classical Liberalism. The Founding Fathers used the writings from French agrarian philosophies to bring the French People to their favor against King George III of Great Britain. The Founding Fathers won the Revolutionary War, and then they kept Slavery in the new Republic, which they said would stand for Liberty and Justice for All, but the new U.S.A. also stood for the exact opposite of those lofty ideals. Moreover, when Massachusetts rebelled against the British Crown, it was because the Founding Fathers in Massachusetts went bankrupt. They asked King George III for a bailout, but instead, he told them to raise taxes. At that time, 247 years ago, Massachusetts taxpayers only paid two weeks of their yearly income in taxes. Fast forward to 2023, and Massachusetts charges state taxpayers way more than two weeks of their yearly income in state taxes. In 2023, Beacon Hill lawmakers are a bunch of corrupt career politicians who only do DISSERVICES to the people of Massachusetts, while they secretly use state funds to enrich themselves and their wealthy campaign donors at the public trough to the tune of tens of billions of dollars in state tax breaks per fiscal year for the top 1 percent, which means that most regions of the state have no real representation in their state government in elitist Boston, especially the four counties that make up Western Massachusetts. So much for no taxation without representation, Massachusetts politicians! Lastly, please remember that it wasn’t until 1833 when most of the Founding Fathers were long gone that the Jewish residents of Massachusetts became equal Citizens under state law. I am only writing facts here about the real historical record of the Founding Fathers and Massachusetts government.

As I said, you have no respect nor knowledge of the conflict between American colonist and the Imperial tyrants.

Of course you consider Snowden to be a criminal. He blew the whistle on the tyranny of the surveillance state.

“Moreover, when Massachusetts rebelled against the British Crown, it was because the Founding Fathers in Massachusetts went bankrupt”

Bullshit. The rich merchants were tories.

Bailouts? Anachronism to say the least.

“So much for no taxation without representation,”

That’s like a footnote in the Declaration of Independence – another piece of history you haven’t acquainted yourself with. Very few people were concerned about tax policies of the Crown. It was a non-issue until some people in the latter part of the century decided that the Revolution was an economic complaint, not one based on religious and civil liberty. The financial stress, however, was real. They were upset about the Crown demanding all payments in silver/gold at a very unfair exchange rate (which keeps them poor and the crown rich) and their control of intercolonial trade and finance.

” Lastly, please remember that it wasn’t until 1833 when most of the Founding Fathers were long gone that the Jewish residents of Massachusetts became equal Citizens under state law”

A dubious claim given it means absolutely nothing. But for comparison, in which century did Jews become ‘equal citizens’ in any European country? Have we reached it yet?

” I am only writing facts here about the real historical record of the Founding Fathers and Massachusetts government.”

Laughable. You haven’t even a clue about any history of the Commonwealth (let alone Pittsfield), and if you did you would choose a different day of the year to post this hateful nonsense.

JM: If you do not appreciate my response, then show a little respect for the wise and courageous men and women, white and black, who understood what they were about and left you the little of what remain of religious and civil liberty.

Teenagers are out of control everywhere. In Chicago today they were causing unbelievable destruction. Attacking tourists, shooting children, terrorizing anyone they could, destroying property, and pulling people out of cars and beating them up. A woman’s husband was beaten up in front of her and it was all planned on SOCIAL MEDIA. Terrified tourists were escorted back to their hotels while hundreds of police and SWAT were called in to control these wild animals. The new mayor of Chicago is all about allowing violence. This is what these cities get when they vote for this and unbelievably it was the school unions who voted in this soft on crime mayor. The school unions are enabling this youth violence.

Yes and now the Democrats are calling for gun control. Why not children being controlled and taught by their parents on how to behave with civility? Teach these kids(?) the basics with proper behaviors added in. Teach them that nothing is given in this world but it has to be earned. Can’t wait for this summer when it gets hot and the country has a bunch of third world brown outs….way to go Brandon!! In 2 short years you took the number one country in the world and screwed it over so bad that we aren’t even in the top 10!

Violent Teen Takeover brings chaos in Chicago, Chicago Mayor-elect condemns ‘Teen Takeover’ Chaos, but says it’s ‘not constructive to demonize youth’

Juvenile Delinquency is nothing new. 1950-60’s Drive-ins showcased ultra-violent youths with movies such as, The Delinquents -1957, Hot Rod Girls – 1956, Reform SCOHOL Girls – 1957, High SCOHOL Confidential – 1958, Hell SCOHOL Hellcats – 1958, So Young So Bad – 1950, Blackboard Jungle – 1955, Los olvidados – 1950, The Violent Years – 1956, Young and Wild – 1958, Girl Gang – 1954, Gun Girls – 1957, Girls in the Night – 1953, The Flaming Teenage – 1956, Sorority Girl – 1957, Dragstrip Riot – 1958.

And in addition to all of this normal entertaining schlock, with the exception of less than a handful, every dysfunctional family home in the suburban neighborhood where I grew up, had bars full of alcohol, and weapons of mass destruction/handguns/shot guns, rifles, and boxes and boxes of ammunition, all unsecured. In addition to that, the bathroom medicine cabinet and kitchen cabinet over the sink, had a bottle or three of paregoric, which was regularly used for teething in babies, and upset tummies of toddlers to teens. The family medicine cabinet also had a goodly supply of Mother’s Little Barbiturate Helpers, for those restless nights. And if you were coming down with a chill, these little helpers were usually given with grandma’s elixirs which consisted of hot tea, lemon, honey, ginger, cloves and Old Grand Dad or Old Mr. Boston Rock & Rye. And somehow, none of us kids went on a Molotov cocktail firebombing vandalizing rampage of smash and grab looting of North Street businesses, Zayer, or the Big N, or a killing spree of classmates or shoppers at shopping centers. And dinner was served every day at 5 p.m. And on summer weekend nights we went to the drive-in theater. After which someone usually came home with an upset tummy after too much soda, hot buttered popcorn, hot dogs, French fries, ice cream, candy and spinning around on the roundabout in the playground during intermission. But no one went out marauding just for hell of it.

Why didn’t AG Garland order THE FIB (pun intended) to raid his house?

Back to the balloon……Why would Biden order it shot down when it was running cover for him? Joe let it drift for at least a week over sensitive military installations, even though it was armed with spy equipment.

Besides, Mr Xi is Joe’s good friend, who he has been “doing business” with, for many years now.

The buck stops with Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and Chucky Schumer who all refused to have beefed up security at the Jan. 6th event even though they knew there was a chance of violent people attending. They had fair warning and ignored those warnings. The question is why. Nancy and Chucky maybe just wanted trouble to brew so they could blame it on Trump which they are now doing and McConnell is just clueless.

You were right in that Donald Trump went on stage and encouraged it. If it were not for him it would never have come about. He owns it lock stock and barrel. 100%.
All the FOX news spin, double talk and alternative facts does not change the reality. But they, like the Scientology folk, have gotten inside the brains of some people and yanked out their ability to use logic and what they see before them.

Trump actually tried to take down the Church of Scientology, at least revoke it’s tax free status. No president or governor before him lifted a finger to stand in their way. Listen to his speech though. I doubt you’ll hear anything provocative in it. Otherwise, what’s the point of a demonstration if you aren’t challenging something?

Actually, he did say that. He quoted scriptures, to support an evil project – satanic behavior – to ensure that they would face deadly wrath.

Schumer delivered on his promise, and an armed assassin was apprehended at Kavanaugh’s residence. Waters likewise urged her mob to assault elected officials.

Even Manchin’s henchman in arms is also quite the coupster, a minor coupster, calling for assassinating Pres. Trump to end his political career.

Cold Civil War – this is what it looks like.

Gulags are where tyrants store their prisoners. Some are enemies, others are hapless victims who wind up there by virtue of clerical errors. There are no courts to distinguish between a hapless victim and an enemy. A court could easily make a mistake and invalidate the gulag-master’s handiwork.

Prisons are where courts, governed by case law, precedents, and jury trials, and defendends protected by Bill of Rights, store theirs. We are a lucky people, Shir, we have gulags for the enemies and prisons for the undiscovered enemies; the best of both worlds.

MT, do you know that the most effective method used by far right groups to keep their followers in line is paranoia? They keep you all in a line marching forward, eyes straight ahead, not allowed to ponder other viewpoints by instilling fear of all sorts of boogie men lurking in the shadows.

Curiously enough, that is exactly how all cults operate as well. Please ponder my post before giving the programmed knee jerk response. Love yourself enough not to give control of your brain to outside interests.

The white supremist are after you people catagorized by the government as black because they want to keep you down. The Orange man is coming for you and he is evil!! The Berkshire DA needs to go back to the plea agreement where –

https://www.masslive.com/news/2016/03/sheffield_police_well-being_ch.html

This woman stole her daughters identity to get off these charges. The wellbeing check was requested by the daughter because of the disabled man who was inside the house all alone during this overdose. Woman stole the disabled man’s money for drugs.

The district attorney office made an error in dismissing these charges.

Same exact woman here-
https://www.masslive.com/news/2016/03/sheffield_police_confiscate_17.html

And there are more on this female individual who repeatedly gets a plea deal.

Young people DIE – because of people like this WOMAN, GETTING PLEA DEAL, AFTER PLEA DEAL.

WRONG PERSON WAS FORCED AND ANSWERED FOR THE CHARGES – FIGURE IT OUT THIS IS THE THIRD DA.

Just before entering Superior Court for the ceremony, he spoke with WAMC about key staffing appointments in his administration, his interest in continuing a data-sharing program with Duke University about the office’s plea agreements, and his relationship with retired Judge Daniel Ford- his mentor and a former Berkshire prosecutor whose record has faced criticism. Shugrue spoke with WAMC about his early goals.

SYSTEMIC RACISM is when a poor person gets unjustly called to ANSWER FOR HER MOTHERS CHARGES. MOTHER STOLE DADS MONEY, NEVER EVEN TOLD HIM THAT HE WAS AWARDED A SETTLEMENT.

So did the mayor have a press conference warning kids using scooters to watch out for the potholes? No? How about a robo call? Did she acknowledge the problem? Was it in any media? NO? I wunner why.

Her big thing now is to spend a few million on fixing up the city sidewalks. She will have spent more money than the last five mayors combined but the roads will still be in poor overall condition. Same for the schools. Sad. But the people are helpless with a weak city council and a leader of same who is confused about his job description.

By the way, could someone, anyone, get a copy of the Pittsfield city council presidents job and post it here? Mr krol might like to do that if no one else but it might be most interesting to see if Pete came remotely close to abiding by any of it.

And why, when taxpayers have been and continue to be OVERTAXED, resulting in excess of over $17M in just the FREE CASH account of over taxation, are there dangerous decrepit city-wide sidewalks. I’m sure taxpayers have been repeatedly raped for the costs to repair or replace at least some of these dangerous sidewalks now in need of immediate attention. I seriously doubt that citizens/taxpayers just all of a sudden became aware of the serious condition of their neighborhood sidewalks. Obviously, tree roots bulging through concrete sidewalks didn’t happen overnight, cracked broken crumbling concrete didn’t happen overnight. City officials want citizens to turn in their own neighbors if for some legitimate reason a sidewalk isn’t cleared of snow, but the city officials force elementary SCOHOL children to risk traumatic head injury every time they navigate Pittsfield’s treacherous sidewalks enroute to Pittsfield’s Level 5 SCOHOLS.

And, again, I witness a fat dumpy woman riding on one of those traumatic head injury scooters with what looked to be a 3-5-year-old helmetless child in tow. I thought these scooters are not suitable for children. E-SCOOTERS aren’t for Kids. Companies like Bird and lime require users to be at least 18, Both Lime Scooters and Bird Scooters confirmed that you have to be 18+ to ride their scooters.

Peter M. Marchetti is ‘rolling up his sleeves’ for this year’s Pittsfield mayoral campaign. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Peter M. Marchetti called for Pittsfield to come together as one on Monday night as he kicked off his campaign for mayor.

“Pittsfield is a great city made up of many historic neighborhoods combined with many diverse new neighbors, but at the end of the day we are ‘One Pittsfield,'” declared the four-term councilor at large. “As your mayor I will show that we can combine politics and leadership to make decisions with scarce resources among competing priorities for the greater good of all … Why? Because we are ‘One Pittsfield.'”

Tyer has been mayor for almost 8 long years and with one foot out the door she all of a sudden sees a mega million dollar need of sidewalk repair? On top of all the other mega million dollar projects she has/is initiating?

Once again, if your child is going to stay in Pittsfield when they mature they will be paying for all her extravagance for much of their lives. Because her mess is stacked upon the mess that was there when she flew in. And that will be money they won’t be putting towards a home, car or vacations. They will go to work, come home and view the world from their back yards while they cook non beef hot dogs on the neighbors borrowed grill. If you plan to stay in Pittsfield you will have signed onto a long term subservient relationship with the city money managers. They will own you.

90 miles out of 144 miles of city sidewalks are so dinged up, overgrown or cracked that they could only be classified as poor, very poor, serious, or failed. NINTY MILES OUT OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR MILES! That’s in addition to our poor, very poor, serious, or failed city road rage roadways. But there’s more, because city officials have also managed to clutter up our failed potholed roadways with dangerous obstacles. e. g., hazardous barrels, cones, plungers, concrete barriers, that’s going to hurt if you hit one of them, bump-outs, electric scooters, jaywalkers, bicyclists, and a bum at every corner. But with all this failure, city officials are hell bent on ramming Pump Balls and Pickle Parks down the throats of taxpayers. You just know there’s something very wrong with these officially ignoble morons. It’s more than just not being right in the head, they’re corrupt cretins.

I didn’t believe krolchetti 12 years ago, and nothing has changed, for the better. During the toxic reign of krolchetti taxpayers were ripped off for more than $2M plus the cost of luxury seating for the Beacon. Taxpayers had the additional PICK POCKET Tax rammed up their butts. Taxpayers also got roped into feeding the voracious Albatross known as the “At Home in Pittsfield” program for homeowners in the Morningside and West Side ghettos of Pittsfield. Taxpayers paid for Shirley Sharpton Edgerton family trip to Africa to get in touch with her roots when all she had to do was to take a walk on wild side of any of Pittsfield’s many violent jungles filled with fine young armed and dangerous cannibals. And as if Pittsfield isn’t enough of a shithole, the tyerkrolchettirufferrubertobianch gang want the taxpayers to build a shelter on West Housatonic Street to attract even more houseless derelicts to Pittsfield, MA.

Hello blogger Dan Valenti,

I strongly disagree with your praise of Mayor Jimmy Ruberto (2004 – 2011), who you wrote served the City of Pittsfield, Massachusetts with “authenticity”. You are correct that his costly efforts to revitalize downtown Pittsfield failed. People sarcastically wrote that “the Ruberto Renaissance” rivaled Paris, London, NYC and L.A.’s arts and cultural venues – more like their homeless shelters. Jimmy Ruberto spent millions of public dollars on downtown arts and cultural venues, while Pittsfield lost hundreds of living wage jobs and thousands of residents moved away.

You criticize Mayor Sara Hathaway turned schoolmarm who was fired from her public-school teaching position but reinstated after litigation. She deserves a lot of criticism, of course, but she was right in 2001 and again in 2003 that Jimmy Ruberto was a snake oil salesman. We should have listened to Sara Hathaway’s warnings about Jimmy Ruberto back then. Moreover, many of Mayor Sara Hathaway’s ideas and initiatives were coopted by Jimmy Ruberto back then.

Jimmy Ruberto used to say that he has a Rolodex that he would use to bring living wage jobs back to Pittsfield after GE pulled out of the city. His Rolodex only had Good Old Boys in it, such as the disgraced: Angelo Stracuzzi, Carmen Massimiano, Jr., and Andrea Nuciforo, Jr., and the like. While the worst economic recession since the Great Depression hit Pittsfield (and beyond) in 2008, Mayor Jimmy Ruberto still raised municipal taxes well above the rate of inflation. The only economic growth in Pittsfield during Mayor Jimmy Ruberto’s eight year tenure was the City of Pittsfield’s spending.

Mayor Jimmy Ruberto’s failure on PEDA is consistent with Gerry Doyle, Sara Hathway, Dan Bianchi and Linda Tyer’s failures. Polluted PEDA will turn 25 years old this upcoming Summer 2023, and it has millions of dollars in always growing debts and other liabilities. If Mayor Jimmy Ruberto was any good as a public manager, he would have shut down PEDA and turned it over to the federal government as a Superfund site. Why PEDA will turn 25 years old soon is beyond my comprehension of rational economics, but “this is Pittsfield”.

Jimmy Ruberto never owned or rented a property to live in as a resident of Pittsfield. He retired from his job as a Plastics Salesman in Texas in 2001 and moved into his mother, Edith’s, home in Pittsfield in 2001. Within two years, he put his mother, Edith, in a nursing home, and then he went onto oust Mayor Sara Hathaway in 2003. When he was the Mayor of Pittsfield, he really lived in his upscale condo in Naples, Florida, where he would go for weeks at a time. After his mother, Edith, and his wife, Ellen, passed away, Jimmy Ruberto ended up selling his mother’s Pittsfield home, and he used the money to pay cash for an upscale condo in upper class Lenox, which is his second home.

Why am I frustrated by Jimmy Ruberto’s legacy? The answer is because he put the financial burden of his failed leadership in Pittsfield on the (shrinking) middle-class taxpayers, who used their limited financial resources to invest in their properties and city, while he did NOT do the same. Mayor Jimmy Ruberto proved to be a snake oil salesman who promised to revitalize a distressed postindustrial city, but at the end of the day, he made Pittsfield even more distressed and expensive. My most despised memory of Mayor Jimmy Ruberto was when he had “Luciforo” swear him into his third term in early-2008. The best thing Jimmy Ruberto did for Pittsfield was move away from the city!

Best wishes,

Jonathan A. Melle

Mother was living at State Road in Brenner’s Father’s Home – Ally was the drug runner. Mother was the only person with access to money. Think about it.

July 22, 2016 Great Barrington, MA 01230 Telephone: (413) 528-0306 Fax: (413) 5286342 TOWN OF GREAT BARRINGTON MASSACHUSETTS __________ POLICE DEPARTMENT A local woman out on bail for drug offenses was arrested again his morning by police for having 29 bags of heroin in her possession. Alexandra T. Brenner, age 29, of State Road was spotted by Officer Samuel Stolzar driving on Main Street. Stolzar knew that an active arrest warrant was outstanding after being issued yesterday when Brenner failed to appear in Pittsfield District Court for a trial stemming from an arrest in March of 2015. In that incident she was also arrested by Stolzar for possession of heroin. She was pulled over and placed under arrest and Stolzar and Officer Adam Carlotto. An inventory of her purse found in the car revealed several packets of heroin. One baggie was field tested and tested positive for heroin. A small amount of cash and three cell phones were also confiscated. Brenner was charged with one count of possession of a class A substance with the intent to distribute. She was transported to Southern Berkshire District Court and is being held without bail on the default warrant. On Monday she will appear in Great Barrington court to face that charge and the new narcotics charge.

Gasoline prices expected to rise again soon, but Traitor Joe Biden can’t tap our strategic oil reserves again to “lower the the prices” (he said so!!!).

He already emptied our reserves. Instead of for America/Americans, Traitor Joe sold OUR oil reserves, to his Chi-Com handlers at less than value, and Americans got……SCREWED!!!!

BTW, POTUS Trump was filling the reserve when crude oil was very cheap.

Who got the profit on Joe’s giveaway????
