PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, THE WEEKEND EDITION JULY 28-30) — The NFL camps have opened, baseball heads into its dog days, and THE PLANET moves off the map. Changes, as well as magic, is afoot.

As we said on Wednesday’s post, starting with this entry, THE PLANET goes dark for two weeks so that during out disappearance our IT gurus and tech masterminds can do some tweaking (not twerking) backstage.

We shall be ingressus mango silentio ad bonum omnium.

We can say no more.

Be back on Aug. 7. Maybe.

Be well … and fall in love!

Only female mosquitoes bite people and animals to get a blood meal. Female mosquitoes need a blood meal to produce eggs. Mosquitoes get infected with germs, such as viruses and parasites, when they bite infected people and animal

I am happy that: Blogger Dan Valenti will have some time to relax, that Beacon Hill lawmakers will soon be on their month-long August recess, and that the Swamp will soon be on their month-long August recess. We the common people are better off when the career politicians are not in formal session than when they are in the Boston Statehouse or the Swamp spewing HOT AIR. Just as when we start having more terrorist attacks in this country, the public who supported all of this illegal immigration, will be demanding protection and wishing they had not been so willing to not question Biden bringing in so many potentially dangerous people who may or may not assimilate into our society. Particularly when they find out what their kids will be taught in the schools and how they will have abortion pushed on them. Kamala already let the cat out of the bag on that when she said in her kindergarten school teacher voice that we must reduce the population for climate change. She never mentioned how the far left intended to do that, but abortion is one way and convincing females that they are really males is another way so they become unable to reproduce. I’m sure they have many other tricks up their sleeves, none of which are good for the people of this country.

Justin Trudeau is blaming American Republicans
for the problems that Canada is having assimilating Muslims into their society. Trudeau can’t figure out that the culture clash is very difficult to overcome for these Muslims what with the LGBT and gender transitioning that is being taught in the schools. He and the rest of the far left globalists think you can just bring Middle Eastern people over here and they will accept extreme liberal policies that even many Canadians think are crazy. America will soon have the same problem and other countries too that now have open borders. Look at what has been happening in France.

Canada is no longer sweet tolerant Canada, but under Trudeau has gone very heavy handed over the people and Trudeau tolerates very little. During the trucker strike, he did unbelievable things to make the truckers stop their protests including freezing their bank accounts. Trudeau is a big globalist in tight with Soros, Schwab, John Kerry, Biden, and all the other very intolerant globalists.

George Soros and his son and the other globalists want an Open Society and this is what all this forced mass illegal immigration is all about, in America and in European countries. The masterminds of this group know there will be problems with assimilation meaning violence, but they push forward anyway with their dystopian plans.
“The Soros clan also played a major role in the vandalism that swept across the United States in 2020, known as the BLM wave of protests. There are many parallels between the riots overseas and the current French migrant revolt. As in the USA then, so today in France, the vanguards of progress blame the police as a whole for the situation” from the article.

Yes, they are handsome and airbrushed, but they are the puppets of George Soros and the globalists. Newsome is always rubbing his eyes when he talks about the far left agenda like he knows it’s so much baloney, but it keeps he and his wife in their mansion so he will go along with it. Biden was visited in the White House at least 21 times by Alexander Soros, the son of George Soros so they are all in on this Open Society to have countries without borders to achieve their globalist agenda of One World Government. It’s all an experiment that they know will involve lots of chaos.

They could try to put out the fires and do forest management so this wouldn’t happen in the first place, but the smoke creates poor air quality so they can try to convince everyone that this is all due to climate change and not their own incompetence.

Hillary Clinton was yelling at everyone “Are you hot enough yet?” as she ran into her air conditioned mansion. She really means are you hot enough yet to give big government complete control over your life? Because this is what the globalists want to accomplish using climate change as the excuse.

Interesting to read about the resignation of Shirley Edgerton as Cultural Proficiency Coach from the Pittsfield Public Schools.

The resignation comes just a year after Edgerton received more than a half million dollars in free ARPA money to use as she sees fit in her ROPE organization.

The announcement also comes just after the recent announcement that ROPE has started a North Carolina chapter – “Rope NC Chapter”.

Did we really give her Pittsfield’s Biden bucks intended to help the poor and economically distressed people of Pittsfield to take to NC and spend on their citizens?

Vladimir Putin stole my Superball ring. I was with George W Bush, in the Oval Office and we were talking about 1964 Mustangs and other BS. Laura was there too! Then this thin obnoxious blonde guy comes in, doesn’t say hello, and George just forgets that I’m even there. They start talking. George just lit up. They talk about sumo wrestling. Judo. The great cossack horsemen for heaven’s sake. (Yeah, I said cossacks – the poor white trash of the caucuses. Murdered half my family in Klevitz (Minsk village) in a pogrom.) Then sports – fencing, soccer, and of course football. “Chuckster! Show Vlad your fancy-schmancy ring you got!” Like a fool, I take it off and Vladimir takes it, puts it on and says, “Thank you.”

Then they go back to their BS and ignore me some more. Since there were now three of us, Laura having had left to go shopping saying she suddenly got a fancy for a bright yellow porsche, Putin announces “Troika!” and out come the vodka. Did they serve me? No. They drank it all, and then Putin left, with my ring!

Charles: “How are we going to get my ring back?!”

Bush: “Ring? Forget about it. Pretty dumb of you to give it him, I said ‘show it’ not ‘hand it.’ Such schmuck you. Not gonna make it into an international nuckular circus-f*ck”

Correct! The Constitution says very little on how one gets elected. Much is written on the rights of citizens and the balancing of powers within government. And as a Constitutional Republic – the protection of individual states from a overly powerful central government.

Today: we live in a bizarre America where a Berk Eagle cartoonist ridicules a Supreme Court justice because he bristles at congressmen who assert they should have control over the the Third Branch of government.

Will the Biden Sleaze ever end?

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/07/furious-judge-noreika-issues-order-prohibiting-hunter-bidens/

“Furious Judge Maryellen Noreika ordered the lawyers representing Hunter Biden, who had deceived and lied to a court clerk into removing a legal document by falsely claiming to represent GOP lawyer Ted Kittila, to cease all direct communications with court clerks.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Hunter Biden’s legal team is facing possible sanctions after they lied about their identity to have the testimony of IRS whistleblowers removed from the docket in Hunter’s tax fraud case.
Judge Maryellen Noreika had demanded an explanation from Biden’s lawyers by 9 pm ET Tuesday night. This controversy happened on the eve of Hunter Biden’s plea of guilty to misdemeanor tax charges on Wednesday, while he is expected to avoid jail time on a separate gun charge.

A member of Biden’s legal team misrepresented herself when asking for amicus materials to be removed. According to reports, she called the clerk and requested that the information be sealed due to its sensitive nature, including grand jury, taxpayer, and social security details.”

I read the Arabic translation and I found it a bit contradictory. The part where he talks about how fire ants would sometimes eat away at the trunk of an Acacia tree but then some of the ants might not partake during the holy season. I mean which part is true and are Acacia tree stumps even a good diet for ants in the first place?

The stock market just had its best performance through July in 26 years.
The benchmark S&P 500 index closed last month with a boost of about 21% for the year. That’s its largest gain through July in 26 years, according to data from S&P Dow Jones Indices.
Along with the Nasdaq Composite, the S&P 500 notched its fifth winning month in a row in July, marking the broad-based index’s longest monthly winning streak since 2021.

So you can blame Trump for that if you want to be fair about it.

Charles Kronick

No, that actually isn’t the reason. The reason is that there is lack of confidence in the stability of US Treasuries over next five years.

Dispute over budget appropriations combined with overspending yield two strikes against the dollar. If you want to be fair, you would say that there are lots more strikes for the dollar to take. AA+ is less than AAA but more than AA. The dispute over the budget is driven by lack of liquidity. You should start buying kroners.

From Forbes article

TrumpGolfCount.com estimates that Trump’s golfing trips have cost American taxpayers $142 million so far. That total includes $59 million worth of trips to Mar-a-Lago on Air Force One, along with a long list of other items such as bills for Coast Guard security at the Florida property. The creators of the website have stated that they are tracking Trump’s golf count in the wake of a promise he made back in August 2016 when he said “I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf”.

I am a registered Independent for 45 years. I recalculated after I voted for Nixon. I did vote for Biden last time because he was the far better choice at that time. Trump proved me right when he tried to destroy our democratic election process when he did not like the outcome.

I feel fortunate to be one of those who did not have my psyche co-opted by the intense propaganda machine and feel badly for those who have, because their are a couple in my own family. And the weird part about it is that Trumps values are juxtaposed to the values my family was brought up with and those of true Christians, who believe in working together for the betterment of all.

I would say voting in a new mayor who is their own person and not obligated to special interest forces who backed their campaign. The people must except that they need to vote outside the usual box or their taxes will continue to spiral upwards. That is a fact.

The sad part is that they are so high now that many of us cannot afford to live in our own homes. And the city debt is so high, thanks to people like tyer and marchetti, that they cannot be lowered as that debt must be aid. It has become an undeniable shitshow for the Pittsfield middle class as well.

Charles Kronick
Charles Kronick
Reply to  snark shark

I think that argument would yield results. Local issues are what one unite and two MATTER*. But, it is also impossible to not discuss national ones – they are omnipresent and seductive.

As for the debt issue as a permanent problem causing high taxes, I would disagree. When a person is deeply in debt, the first step is to cut expenses to stabilize the debt. Then a long term reduction can take place at the same time building wealth. We need a budget that builds debt service directly into the lines and corresponding cuts and efficiencies to make that happen. We are solvent – not facing immediate bankruptcy – so this remains on the table.

What issue beneath the Trump Biden argument, which is always ad hominem, is a bedrock question that can be debated?

Could or can?

A joke is only funny if it can’t be true in spite of its ‘logical truth’ (example: logical to imaginine pigs flying, but it is not possible, therefore it’s funny.) I tried to explain that fact to the Council President who resisted filing a joke a couple months back.

ACT I: Submitting an Argument:

Honorable Members of the City Council:

In the January 10, 2023 meeting, I had submitted a request to rebuff the pending argument that the City ought to purchase MgCl2 and related equipment. This request was fully argued and supported by professional input from a MassDOT employee and relevant weather data. The motion failed primarily on account of ill-timing with the DPW report scheduled for the 1/24/2023 meeting and for lack of clarity of execution.

I therefore make the following request to be adopted by the City Council. Subsequent to hearing the report of the DPW, I request a vote to authorize the printing of the following statement no smaller than 11” x 14” and no larger than 48” x 96”. Additional specifications:

Paper: card stock, orange
Font-Size, Family, Color: Helvetica (first), Arial (second). Minimum 25pt. Black
Copy:“Per the City Council of Pittsfield, Massachusetts:

No New Salts!

No New Salt Equipment!”

This placard shall be affixed by sturdy means upon the door at the office of the DPW and remain there until July 1, 2023.

Respectfully signed, _______________________ (Charles I Kronick, Councilor Ward 2), upon this day, _______________

ACT II: Disposal of Argument:
Council Prez: “What am I supposed to do with this??”
Councilor: “I suggest filing it. Obviously it is not to be taken literally. One would have to be totally insane to actually go and paste a giant sign to the Commissioner’s door.”

John Krol would appreciate that joke. He’s seen graphical work orders. Of course, it was not really a joke though. It was a rhetorical ‘WAKE UP!!!!” presentation to a starstruck council.

We ended up spending heavily on new trucks, special equipment for brining, and salt in spite of the fact that if we just laid down salt two hours earlier we would have had clear roads.

and for me, that just sums up what this administration has been all about. In a normal city, the city council would have been able to hash this out to see if it was reasonable. But the puppet leader, as per instructions from above, apparently, shut it down. And this negligence is why the city budget has absolutely exploded under Tyer and Marchetti. Facts are facts and even though no one is going to ever be able to see the detail in the books, we can see the total budget, and it does not lie. We can see all the new toys the city has purchased. And we can see the mega million dollar projects Tyer and Marchetti have burdened the taxpayers with.

Did Pittsfield seriously need all this stuff RIGHT NOW while tyer was/is mayor? None of it could have waited, even if it was actually needed?

If the city of Pittsfield was a business, and the tax payers were investors, each and every one of them would lose their shirt. (and they kinda are)

New York Mayor Eric Adams is saying there is no more room at the inn for illegal immigrants. New York City is at full capacity and he regrets being a sanctuary city. He said something has to be done about the open borders because every area of the country will soon be overrun. Too bad it took Mayor Adams so long to arrive at the truth that globalist George Soros has his claws in every aspect of our society right now and Joe Biden is his puppet. Not just America either. European countries have been turned into Open Societies without borders because the super wealthy Soros clan is pushing this insanity across the globe.

The illegal immigrants are not being screened for disease and all kinds of new diseases are appearing in the country. The politicians know that many of them will not assimilate into our country because their beliefs are so different. Biden is such a train wreck and so corrupt that the far left has to keep throwing indictments at Trump to keep Biden as a viable candidate for president. Biden should be impeached for the border crisis which endangers the safety and health of Americans and for pushing gender confusion on our youth. Just these 2 issues alone are enough to remove this president, but there are so many others. Jill Biden supposedly cares so much about young people, but not a word from her about the despicable gender surgeries being done on young children. Even far left European countries will not go as far as America has gone and they have banned many of these gender surgeries as being inhumane.

Gavel Man talk about cutting taxes? No way in hell he goes there after not doing anything himself to help cut taxes ever. He was a player to raising taxes. Water etc. on the taxpayers. He let the current mayor spend just about every last nickel from the $42 mil on everything but relief for the taxpayers. Krol would have probably done the same. Both are not what Pittsfield needs to move forward.

And would I would not believe him if he did say he would be more responsible financially. He is what he is and he is still what he has been for the last ten years. His job was to go to bat for the taxpayers and reign in reckless spending. He did nothing of the sort.

He knows his own senior years are going to be financially comfortable and he has also shown that he could care less about the Pittsfield elderly, middle income or fixed income home owners. That is not going to change no matter what words he may utter during a campaign. Do not be lulled into forgetting about what he has already NOT done.

It would have been at least a nice gesture if he said something like, ‘well, lets talk about knocking a few dollars off the capital vehicle purchasing plan.’ It would have been diplomatic and constructive. Really, who can take as a personal affront a reduction in municipal steel?

Seriously, the next time you are on the roads in Pittsfield just check for the light blue municipal license plates. I see ten or twenty every time I cross town. City Maintenance use to be almost all red but now they may be white, yellow, red or whatever. There are little cars and big cars and vans and pickups etc. It is like when the prices were especially high Pittsfield decided to go shopping.
Would be curious as to how it came about that the city needed so many new vehicles during tyers administration, who got the contracts and how much the taxpayers will pay and for how many years the debt.

Not that any of this information would ever see the light of day on purpose.

  • Congressional Republicans’ long record of working to cut Medicare, Social Security:Senator Mike Lee said: “One thing that you probably haven’t ever heard from a politician: it will be my objective to phase out Social Security. To pull it up by the roots, and get rid of it.”
  • In November, John Thune, the number two Senate Republican in leadership, declared that Social Security and Medicare benefits should be slashed.
  • Florida Senator Rick Scott is championing a plan to put Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security on the chopping block every five years, which would put the health and economic security of 63 million Medicare beneficiaries, 69 million Medicaid beneficiaries and 65 million Social Security beneficiaries at risk. Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin proposed sunsetting these laws every year.
  • The Republican Study Committee – which includes a majority of House Republicans – released a formal budget that, according to Politico, included “raising the eligibility ages for each program, along with withholding payments for individuals who retire early or had a certain income, and privatized funding for Social Security to lower income taxes.”
  • And in 2015, most House Republicans, including Speaker McCarthy, Rep. Scalise, and a host of others in current leadership, voted to raise the retirement age to 70, which would cut Social Security benefits for tens of millions of seniors who paid into the system for years.

Republican Members of Congress have proposed making health care and prescription drugs more expensive:

Last week, Republicans in the House proposed repealing the Inflation Reduction Act, including its health care provisions. And, just yesterday, Republicans on the House Budget Committee floated a proposal to repeal the health care provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act. Here’s what that would mean for working families across the country and in Florida:

  • A 62-year-old in Tampa earning $55,000 would see their premium increase by $7,000 per year.
  • 14.5 million Americans nationwide will pay higher health insurance premiums and see a tax increase.
  • Everyone with Medicare will see higher drug prices if Medicare cannot negotiate the price of drugs.
  • Tens of billions of dollars will go right back to Big Pharma, which will increase the deficit.
  • 3.3 million Medicare beneficiaries who use insulin will no longer have the peace of mind of knowing that their insulin is capped at $35.

Doesn’t Shugrue have authority to determine if a case should proceed or not proceed? Authority to cease prosecution in a case if the charges are out of line?

You know, criminals work for the SIG’s doing their dirty work, they carry guns and drugs knowing in advance they will be bailed out of all consequences.

The land owners have property managers; have career criminals; have slaves.

You know like someone’s younger brother runs drugs but is immune to charges – organized crime.

They even own the medical buildings, hospitals etc.

Crime is an industry. Drugs are an inside operation.

You already know it.

Why still questioning it.

Around here if a child gets raped, a man get beat to permanent paralysis, I guarantee everyone will not give a flying fuck. The prosecution has no idea what the word rape, assault means. Nor the impact rape has on the psyche.

Take it for the team, don’t start a pandemic/ civil war.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT GRANT MONEY. That is when we talk about equity and rape, when there is a GRANT. Otherwise it’s just opens them up for liability. They do not care about citizens- they care about acquiring more wealth.

Sarcasm: Billionaire John Forbes Kerry’s climate change statements:
“In early-2021, I – Jonn Kerry – owned millions of dollars in stocks in the oil and gas industry. But then I sold them to become Joe Biden’s first every climate envoy of HOT AIR!”
“The U.S. Government is the single largest polluter of greenhouse gas emissions in the world due to its huge military industrial complex.”
“Joe Biden surpassed all previous U.S. Presidents in arms sales exports, including to authoritarian regimes and countries. Military industrial complexes around the world are the leading cause of human caused climate change.”
“China is the biggest polluter of greenhouse gas emissions due to its huge military industrial complex and that 60 percent of its energy supply comes from the burning of coal. The U.S.A. is the second biggest polluter of greenhouse gas emissions due to its huge military industrial complex and 20 percent of our energy supply comes from the burning of coal. Combined, China and the U.S.A. account for a little less that 50 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions.”
“Climate change is an important issue, but the only thing that really matters is that Wall Street makes trillions upon trillions of dollars off of the military industrial complex, the Swamp makes billions of dollars from arms sales exports, and Joe Biden’s administration not signing peace treaties with Russia or China because it would cut into war profits. So much for the Green New Deal LIES!”
“Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry all voted for the second Iraq War over 2 decades ago. Saudi Arabia has the largest oil and gas reserves in the world. Iraq has the second largest oil and gas reserves in the world. I, John Kerry, spew the most HOT AIR of any person in the world!”
“When I, John Kerry, go around the world in my private jet and I speak to foreign people at climate conferences, most of them roll their eyes at me because I am the poster child for “Do as I say, NOT as I do!”

Recently on my news hour show I stated that zero dollars would be needed for updates To the two krofta built water treatment plants. City consultants aecom have stated that the updates would be 84 million dollars. Many have questioned me as to how could this be possible. Consider that I brought the city’s cost of 150 million dollars down to 32 million dollars in the 80’s one should realize that I have a record of bringing total project costs down by 75% as compared to other types of technologies. Going from 84 million to 0 dollars is customary for me and I see this project as being very doable. I can’t convince the CC of this so I will join them and work from inside to bring this figure to reality. Being ward 6 councilor will aid me immeasurably in pulling off this project. Please help me win the ward 6 position. I’m all about saving tax and ratepayers dollars.

You have insulted and demeaned so many before that even if you are correct about an issue or that you are an expert in that field, those you have wronged will not forget and they do not want to see you succeed. even if you haven’t insulted a particular person, you have insulted people they know and respect and therefore collectively they will be against you. As mayor I do believe you could have made some changes if you were able to garner enough public support during a campaign. I believe you chose the election you thought you could win and if you do I do believe you will try to make changes, but my prediction is that you will not be able to make the changes that you see fit and that you will become more combative and ultimately quit mid term.

Re: In memory of former Pittsfield State Rep. Tom Wojtkowski

I had dinner out with my dad, Bob, tonight (Thursday, August 3rd, 2023), and I told my father that Tom Wojtkowski passed away and that his obituary was online, which I showed to my dad on my smartphone. I apologized to my dad for complaining about the Nuciforo/Wojtkowski family and the mean-spirited and vindictive conspiratorial political retribution they did to us over the past over 27 years now.

I told my dad that Tom Wojtkowski was a good man who did a lot of good work in politics. I do not want to go down to my enemies’ level. I want to live at my own level of dignity in the short time of my life on Earth. My dad said that he went through some of that, too, and he understood why I complained to him.

My dad said that he had a good relationship with the first Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Senior when he was a Pittsfield State Senator and then a Probate and Family Court Judge many years ago. My dad said that he served on the Pittsfield School Committee with Tom Wojtkowski’s wife, the late Anne Everest Wojtkowski (2014), who later was the first woman Mayor of Pittsfield. My dad’s career in the Pittsfield District Courthouse (late-1970 to early-2002) for a little over 31 years included seeing Attorney Tom Wojtkowski serve as a Defense Attorney many years ago now.

My dad’s 3.5 years as an elected Berkshire County Commissioner from 1997 to mid-2000 included him serving along with the second Pittsfield State Senator Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior (1997 – 2006). It was during the time when my dad, Bob, and the second Andrea Nuciforo Jr. served together when things became ugly for us in Pittsfield politics all the way east to the Boston Statehouse.

I understand that Tom Wojtkowski’s sister married the first Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Senior, and that the second Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior is Tom Wojtkowski’s nephew, and that his family came before my family in politics. I wish that Tom Wojtkowski would have stopped the Nuciforo/Wojtkowski political family from persecuting me beginning when I was only 20 years old during the Spring 1996, which is over 27 years ago now in August 2023. The Nuciforo/Wojtkowski political family never stopped hurting me, even after I relocated from Pittsfield (Massachusetts) to Amherst (New Hampshire) a little less than 20 years ago now.

I do not know what kind of people the Nuciforo/Wojtkowski political family really are, but I have felt the dark side of the aforementioned Pittsfield political family for a majority of my adult life. I am 48 years old, and my dad is 79 years old now. Both Tom & Anne Wojtkowski are passed away now. Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior is 59 years old now. I wish all that I have spoken out about, written about, and blogged about with the Nuciforo/Wojtkowski political family persecuting me and hurting my dad, Bob, many years ago now never happened. Life is too short for people to engage in abusive conflict and political vendettas.

I wish to thank Tom Wojtkowski for all of his years public service. I write this tonight in memory of former Pittsfield State Representative Tom Wojtkowski (1926 – 2023). May he and his predeceased wife Anne both Rest in Peace.

Food for thought:
The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. That gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate. ~Noam Chomsky

Re: Smitty Pignatelli is not “a better lawmaker”!

Lenox State Representative Smitty Pignatelli wrote a letter praising the late Tom Wojtkowski, who was a Pittsfield State Representative on Beacon Hill many years ago. Smitty Pignatelli’s letter is flawed because he is not “a better lawmaker”!

Smitty Pignatelli has been a corrupt career politician in the Boston State House of Representatives for over 20.5 years now. He has always voted down Sunshine Laws that would open the state’s “cooked books” to rules reforms. He has even stated that he openly supports the closed-door corruption and secrecy led by the top-down State House Speaker(s) because it efficient.

Smitty Pignatelli has happily accepted countless public pay raises plus perks. In early-2017, Smitty Pignatelli voted for the outrageous 40 percent state legislative pay raise bill. Also, Smitty Pignatelli voted for House Speakers Tom Finneran and Sal DiMasi, who later became convicted Felons due to their corruption in state government.

Smitty Pignatelli supports GE’s misguided proposal to supposedly cleanup the polluted Housatonic River from Pittsfield down south to Great Barrington, which includes GE putting a capped “leaky landfill” full of industrial chemicals called PCBs in Lee. Capped toxic waste dumps are time limited. After a period of time, the caps always all fail, and then the PCBs will again spread in the Housatonic River in the future. Capped landfills must be monitored from day one.

GE’s proposal is to put its capped “leaky landfill” inside of a watershed in the Housatonic River in Lee that borders Lenoxdale. The capped toxic waste dump is too close to the October Mountain aquifer. The people who live in the area are protesting Smitty Pignatelli’s support for GE over his constituents.

Smitty Pignatelli’s college degree is in Finance. GE has not made a financial commitment to its proposed cleanup of the Housatonic River, which will cost at least $576 million and take 15 years to complete once it starts after years of litigation in federal court. Shouldn’t GE’s unfunded promise to his legislative district be a red flag to this “financial genius” who has long enriched himself at the public trough?

Smitty Pignatelli writes op-ed about the Berkshires’ shrinking tax base with the past 50 years of thousands of lost living wage jobs and diminishing population numbers while the local tax burden increases without ever once looking at himself in the proverbial mirror as a failed corrupt career politician who voted for hundreds of millions of dollars in state tax breaks for Boston area big businesses that has nothing to do with his mostly rural legislative district in the beautiful Berkshires.

Smitty Pignatelli writes lofty op-eds in Western Massachusetts newspapers that belie his real failed public record in Boston, which is being a rubber stamp bureaucrat for the corrupt State House Speaker on Beacon Hill. Smitty Pignatelli’s real public record in Boston is one of doing many DISSERVICES against the common people and taxpayers.

Smitty Pignatelli writes that then Pittsfield State Senator Andrea Nuciforo Jr.’s Uncle Tom Wojtkowski had a desk in his Boston Statehouse office back in 2003 when Smitty Pignatelli began his political career in the State House. But 3 years later in 2006, Nuciforo had to step down from his State Senator elected position because he was allegedly illegally double dipping as the Chair of the State Senate Finance Committee while at the same time serving as a private corporate Attorney for Boston’s big banks and insurance companies under the Boston Law Firm named Berman and Dowell. That is not something to omit!

Smitty Pignatelli represents the WORST in state government! Smitty Pignatelli is a phony!
