THE G-MAN DECIDES: SIX IT WILL BE … GAETANI REVEALS OFFICE CHOICE IN WIDE-RANGING INTERVIEW

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY JULY 17, 2023) — THE PLANET‘s good friend and candidate Craig Gaetani had a choice to make before July 28: the corner office or Ward 6?

In front of the PLANET VALENTI VIDEO (PVV) cameras, Gaetani made his choice at the tail end of the broadcast.

You can watch it below. It will also be found on our YouTube channel, PLANET VALENTI VIDEO.

Six it will be.

He’s got the incumbent, Dina Guiel Lampiasi, on his scope, and you know what? He’s got a realistic if not strong chance of an upset:

  • He’s well-known throughout the ward. Gaetani’s family roots go back more than 100 years on the lower West Side, Robbins Avenue and environs. That may be the key to winning. In the interview, he blasted Lampiasi for never setting set foot in the lower West Side. Gaetani, on the other hand, is known by most everyone.
  • Craig lives in a large house on the Upper West Side, in one of Picklefield’s most affluent neighborhoods. In various enclaves among the brie-and-croissant crowd, he will draw some votes. It’s Lampiasi carpetbagging turf.
  • Gaetani will prevail in the debates. He’s sharp on his feet, not afraid to voice his opinions in a rich baritone, and can handle improv. Lampiasi, on the other hand, hardly says peep during council meetings, shows no ability to wing it, and only has her seat because of backing by The Suits. She has one job: provide another stooge vote for the Administration.
  • He will campaign, including lawn signs, literature, media, coffee hours, and door-to-door.

Of course, he is far from a shoe-in.

  • Lampiasi has a core of support, loyal and influential. “Loyal,” in these Loon Left times, is the polite way of saying “close-minded to questioning.”
  • She presents a pretty face, knows how to utilize her feminine voice and body, and appeals to the ultraLeft element that has a hard time seeing through eye candy or ideology. When the two combine, look out. Pussyhat Warning!
  • She draw the LBTGQRSTUVWXYZ vote, such as it is.

———- ooo ———-

We won’t recap the issues Gaetani brings up. You can watch it for yourself, from his own lips. THE PLANET will, however, say that Craig will campaign relentlessly and in a way you haven’t seen him do before.

One factor already in his favor: He’s not afraid of the PVV hot seat. Throw questions and comments his way, and he’ll return serve every time. His answers, moreover, aren’t just the usual political bullshit — you know, the blathering that eats up words without saying a blasted thing: “We are looking to implement a holistic, strategic approach to budgeting that will emphasize fiduciary bandwidth and buy-in.” Or, “I will take a deep dive into the core competencies. The deliverables we produce will be synergistic game changers”

Remind you of anyone?

Nope. Gaetani speaks in plain English, directly, clearly, with sandpaper tones.

How’s that for a pleasant change of pace?

———- ooo ———-

Hotseatitis” is a condition no public figure has to fear with any other media in the area. Of course, that’s why some politicians, typically the most unsure of themselves, avoid THE PLANET‘s invitations. When we ask, the sphincter muscles get tight, then they let loose. The two most recent and relevant examples would be city councilors Dumpster Earl Persip and Karen “Kal-El” Kalinowsky.

Kal-El notably turned down her solo with Yours Truly, offering no reason.

She didn’t have to supply one. It’s been clear from the get-go, and only made clearer in her debut mayoral debate, that’s she’s a few vowels short of a-e-i-o-u.couldn’t even handle puffball questions Can you imagine what she would do with actual pressers?

Dumpster? We sent him the following invite. You can read his re(s)po(n)se:

Speaks for itself, doesn’t it?

Look, THE PLANET is relieved when they turn us down. First, it tells us we are doing our job as Fourth Estate watchdog. Second, it frees up time so we can enjoy our South County Red Lion-Blantyre-Wheatleigh freebies.

Incidentally, our Right Honorable Good Friend and council VP Pete White has agreed to do an hour with us. That’s manning up, deserving instant respect.

Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski, however, ought to get real pissed at candidates who duck and cover. Dumpster and Kal are essentially telling them, “We don’t give a fuck about you. Give me your vote and bounce.”

Craig Gaetani is the opposite.

He holds the most important office in the land, that of Citizen.

True, It would be very entertaining, but he’s going to get murdered. His antics in city hall (escorted out by the cops) and the car thing on Madison Ave. have not been forgotten. As for Earl the Pearl, can’t blame him. You’ve done nothing but call him names since he started his run for the council. Your reason for taking a swipe at the folks on outer West St. is puzzling. (or upper West St. as you prefer)

I will be voting Gaetani. He’s not a career politician and seems to care deeply for his Ward.I will not be voting the inept phonies currently running at large. Aren’t people in the city aware of their responsibilities to the average home owner? What have they done other than raise taxes and failed to deliver basic services? Craig Gaetani is misguided about Pittsfield politics because the state government in Boston underfunds distressed “Gateway” cities such as Pittsfield. Moreover, the inequitable state government in Boston systemically mocks Pittsfield with its financial shell games, state tax giveaways to the state corrupt career politicians’ wealthy campaign donors that don’t exist in Pittsfield, and (voluntary) regressive taxation schemes such as the multibillion-dollar state lottery SCAM that really allows wealthy people and big businesses to pay less state taxes. Pittsfield has no real political representation in Boston and beyond to the Swamp, but I am sure that Craig Gaetani and blogger Dan Valenti know all of this all too well, of course.

I praise Craig Gaetani for being a voice for the Have Nots and common citizens of Pittsfield. He says that people need to show up and speak out at city meetings, but he omits that Pittsfield politics other name is RETRIBUTION! When a Have Not and/or common citizen shows up and speaks out, he or she faces mudslinging, vicious rumors, having their family members become vulnerable to harassment (institutional bullying), losing their job, being blacklisted from finding a new job, having false allegations made against them to the police, having to move away to a new locale, and on and on.

Craig Gaetani said that the largest employer in Pittsfield is the City of Pittsfield, the city and (Level 5) public school managers received pay raises of up to 8 percent on July 1st, 2023, the underclass, and low- to moderate-income residents are paying taxes to subsidize the city and public-school highly paid managerial employees, and that while Pittsfield’s population went from being over 60,000 many years ago now to around 40,000 in 2023, Pittsfield’s current municipal operating budget is over $205.6 million, Pittsfield has around $100 million in municipal debt plus over $400 million in OPEB unfunded liabilities, and so on.

Blogger Dan Valenti said that when it comes to constrained discretionary income, the people who pay local taxes in Pittsfield are the highest taxed residents in Massachusetts. Both Craig Gaetani and blogger Dan Valenti pointed that the managerial level city and public-school employees are retiring with 6-figure public pensions plus perks (for life).

Overall, I enjoyed listening to blogger Dan Valenti interview Craig Gaetani. He is a public advocate for the Have Nots and common people who live in Pittsfield.

Chaz, You are right. Craig Gaetani is a voice for common sense. He is not Peter Marchetti saying, “One Pittsfield” (but what about the theoretical multiverse where there are infinite universes with infinite Pittsfields? Good grief!). He is not John Krol saying that every campaign promise that he is making is not questionable, including his grand promise to revitalize the inner city’s many empty storefronts, social services agencies, parking kiosks, daily shootings, violent crime, and all of the other amenities that keep rational people away from North Street into a utopia whereby he pastes wings on pigs and watches them fly around Pittsfield. He is not Karen Kalinowsky who openly does not favor Mayor Linda Tyer and her half-dozen rubber stamp City Councilors and Level 5 School Committee members, which seems to really be a political strategy to win votes.

Craig Gaetani said he is wealthy, and he recently announced his candidacy for Ward 6 City Councilor. The aforementioned three “Pickleballs” running for Mayor stand to financially benefit from a would-be 6 figure mayoral city public pension plus perks. Peter Marchetti said he would have to take a pay cut to serve as Mayor, but that would-be 6-figure city public pension plus perks for life would more than compensate for his marginal loss in income. John Krol could serve two or more 4-year terms as Mayor and then retire with the coveted mayoral pension. Karen Kalinowsky already has a city pension as a retired Pittsfield Police Officer. She could greatly add to her existing city public pension plus perks with a would-be mayoral pension, which, in 2010, is what critics said Dan Bosley was really doing when he unsuccessfully ran for the excessively highly paid elected position of Berkshire County Sheriff.

Common sense tells me that Peter Marchetti, John Krol and Karen Kalinowsky stand to financially gain from being elected as the next would-be Mayor of Pittsfield politics. That spells a recipe for DISASTER for the common people, families and taxpayers!

Charles Kronick
Charles Kronick
Reply to  Jonathan A. Melle

I seriously doubt Kalinowsky is running for Mayor, a hard race to win, for the sake of a pension, when she could run again for councilor and easily win. Your conclusions don’t follow from your assumption which is that the only reason to run for Mayor is financial.

Might be nice to see some sort of map of ward 6. Many people get wards five and six confused. What are the boundaries and where do ward six voters vote? Craig’s followers need to mark the day and place on their calendars.

His opponent will now be getting heavy added GOB financial backing as her rubber stamp has been a crucial cog for the machine.

Each ward gets about 7,000 residents (today.) I don’t see gerrymandering happening in lines that shift very little over the decades. Ward 2 fought Ward 1 for the traffic triangle on Dalton and now I own the pole and a nice patch of grass and concrete. I expect the next councilor to make good use of those votes.

Forgive me if this is the second note. I think the Russians/Chinese/N,Koreans have hacked your account Dan because they shut my computer right down. I know this site talks of all the deep secrets and solutions so they are always monitoring!! I just wanted to wish Mr. Gaetani good luck but be careful for what you wish. The people on the council are the most foul smelling group that have sold their soul. They don’t care about the little guys but only themselves, Dan you just have walk NON and check all the Dumpsters if you want to interview Earl the Pearl. He is a big dude so he should be easy to locate. Another issue I almost ran into these past week is on West St, What is the city trying to do cause cars to sideswipe each other?? How is that improving traffic?? Oh and this weekend a friend received a response from the city. They hit a crater during the winter and needed a new tire, The city said they weren’t responsible because no one complained about the street and they didn’t know about the crater. Now this street has been one that is continually bad (cut through from Jodi’s to Lanesboro) that I seem to recall Eagle articles written years ago about the poor condition. I personally wouldn’t drive that road because of all the potholes that were on it over 5 years ago. And I did inform my counselor but they are no longer on the council so who knows what good it would do. This city is for the birds….to do their business on!!

“Scohol” was the spelling. 9/15/22. Made national news.

Rumpass‘es City crews grammar “correction” came up with “Sciiiiol”

“Talk about a lot of wasted paint and even more confused students!
The Berkshire Eagle reports that a painter in Pittsfield, MA was hired to paint the word “SCHOOL” in bright, white lettering on East Street so motorosts know they’re in a school zone — but they clearly needed spell check.
After completing the task, Pittsfield High School officials noted that the contractor spelled it as “S-C-O-H-O-L.”
“I immediately sent them the photo saying we’re not paying until this is fixed,” said city commissioner Ricardo Morales, who hired K5 Corp to do the painting. Morales was more amused than upset, noting the company came back with black spray paint to fix the error.
Unfortunately, the way they spray painted the first “O” and following “H” transformed the word to “S-C-I-I-I-I-O-L.”
Morales said K5 Corp is also seeing the humor in their mistake and have offered to repaint the road at their own expense.”

There were also people thrown off walls by jackbooted goons – hiding behind a wall of anonymity, an african american woman who was stomped to an inch beyond her life by police – far from the Capitol steps, and others. But, Babbit suffered the most outrageous act of bloody butchery that day.

Rosie Boyland:
Rosie Memos on Twitter: “My God @CapitolPolice were beating Rosanne Boyland and they told us all she died of a drug overdose. They won’t even let her family have access to complete autopsy. What is @January6thCmte doing to investigate her death? Nothing. https://t.co/dq4cpsWbOY” / Twitter
Derrick Vargo:
Derrick Vargo: Pushed off Capitol Staircase by Police – YouTube

They broke Vargo’s back. Being police, not military (who are not instructed to restrain violence) the correct response would be to secure Vargo on the other side of the parapet and cuff him. He was left with broken legs and a broken back.

That’s a partial count for the day. You see it your way, fine. But I see it as another 4/19.

(Sidepoint: I am not very impressed by the apparent behavior of Vargo – idiocy and menacing). I am shocked at the action of the jackbooted goon who shoved him to a certain death.)

Sir Chaz, when did state ethics law ever stop anyone in Picklefield?

Just think back to the ARPA grift handout.

The husband of Flat Tyer’s secretary and the Cultural Competency Coach (city employee), both received large sums of taxpayer money.

One even flaunted it in our faces, by taking an all-expense (taxpayer) paid family and friends vacation to a foreign country.

When I see suppressed report, after suppressed report, after suppressed report, about the Xiden Crime Cartel and it’s nexus to Ukraine, yeah, I tend to trust Putin over a bought and CCP paid for installed Pedo Pete.

Putin wants to expose those gain of functIon bio-weapons lab in Ukraine, that government sponsored media (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN) told us “didn’t exist.”

Lo and behold, we find out that only REALLY DO EXIST, Prof. Care to comment on this?

It’s why Crimea and Georgia didn’t matter to Barry/Ciden/Gates/Soros. No bio-weapons labs there Prof.

Are you waking up to the lie yet Mr. PhD.?

What? No free firearms to protect the family?

Massachusetts Calls on Citizens to Take Border Crossers into Their Homes (breitbart.com)

**For the Kapanski’s be cautious of any free money or tax breaks you might be offered. Under MA law, after that person(s) have been in your house for 30 or more days, you will need to go through the courts and LEGALLY EVICT them. That takes months and costs money. Can’t just toss them out.

Kindergarden, you told The Planet you have adult children, which means you more than likely you are an empty nester.

You preached your “great white hope” philosophy for many years to young minds in an attempt to bend them towards left leaning views. You state otherwise, but your left leaning posts and fail to ever back up your statements with a link (facts), tell me differently.

Now practice what you preach. How many illegal alien families and/or military aged men, are you taking in your home?

You can “teach” them about the horrors of white supremacy and its current destruction of the US.

Think of the illegal aliens as a clean slate Prof.

You can easily manipulate people with maybe an elementary school-level education. You’ll make the leaders in Picklefield and Boston proud.
