- Pull down your trousers.
- Take a deep breath.
- Try not to complain as Two-Pete government sticks it in once more, another 5%.
- They don’t even lube it.
THE PLANET gets it. Our readers get it. Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski get it. Taxes pay for necessary public services. What they don’t get but what they have to swallow is the continued corruption of Bitchfield government, its lack of reliable services, its lies and duplicities, and its continued growth of an already bloated government. What makes it worse? Having these added costs imposed on them by selfish, porcine politicians who lack integrity, who feed only the Special Interests and themselves, and who, by doing so, perpetuate the breathtaking fraud that daily costs citizens their livelihoods, their homes, and their peace of mind.
As we articulate in the phrase we have coined, the only thing worse than “No Taxes Without Representation” is “Taxes WITH Representation.”
Costa-Plenty, esteemed city councilor. Your tax dollars at work.
The Kapanskis, too, have to budget. First they estimate how much money they will make. Second, they will plan their spending accordingly. If the moolah is tight, they tighten the belts and, if necessary, make do and even go without. Bitchfield government does it in reverse. First, They decide how much they want to spend. Then they will raise taxes to cover it.

Mayor Lumpy has submitted a spending plan that will burn $226,246,942.
Yup. The typical, eternal 5% hike. It’s easy for the Administration. Lumpy asks Kufflinks Kerwood to call up the previous year’s budget figure, multiply it by 5%, and–Presto!–instant cough-ee.
Oh yeah, Lumpy and Kufflinks also want another $17 million on top of that in capital spending. This is for vital, necessary, obligatory, requisite, compulsory, imperative, needed, essential, indispensable, incumbent, of essence projects such as more unmarked envelopes for kickbacks, a cleaner slush fund for bribes, pipe cleaners and ping pong balls for the airport runway, and a 50-foot gold statue of a trans, illegal alien child rapist from Venezuela.

The proposed budget includes $86,450,942 for the school department + 35% to cover three items that will be hidden on the city side of the slate: cost of running, maintaining, and parking the fleet of school buses; costs of health care for 1,500 employees, with the Kapanskis picking up 85% of the fee; the cost of maintenance. Add it all up, and it comes to almost $117 million–more than 1/10 of a BILLION with a B.
That’s for the great job turned in by the retiring Jumpin’ Joe Curtis, the PSD Admin, the slxowhoo kummmiteeee, and other dunces. Apparently, the cost of presiding over an ongoing scandal and associated whitewash has, like everything else, gone up.
Of course, when Lumpy’s spending plan gets to the council, our Right Honorable Good Friends on the dais will wring there hands, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth, then council prez Voltron the Porkchop will get out the rubber stamp. The minions will “play ball.” Roll call, doctor:
- $lurpy Warren will drool. Later, city hall maintenance will find the saliva all in one piece.
- Brittany Cimoleon$-No Doz will reach into her bandini and enter into orgiastic bliss.
- Wrinn Tin-Tin will think he has a bit part in the new action film, “The Man Who Masqueraded As a Cumquat.”
- Conant the Barbarian will not wake up. He’ll set his alarm for “automatic approval.”
- Kow Plop Kavey will remove the black fritter on the top of his head to reveal … absolutely nothing.
- Dizzy Dina will LBGTQ+ the fine print. Openly Gay, Hoo-ray.
- Help, Help Me Rhonda will nod her head like a 1963 bobblehead of Y.A. Tittle flicked by a seven-year-old.
- Dumpster Earl will still be looking for people who look like him.
- Aspenda Co$ta-Plenty will step on the scale, the indicator will go as far right as it can, and will break. Oreos.
- Kathy Amu$ing will finally get smaller and smaller before vaporizing into a money-green mist.
Budget approved.
John Kiley on the nightly Wurlitzer will play “The Night They Invented Champagne,” the dancing girls will high kick on a cliff in France, and all will be well for The Suits and their grease-balled minions.

Is it true that one of the reasons the suits are absolutely refusing to do a forensic audit is because it would highlight and perhaps be ever so critical, of how the COVID money was distributed and question why so many benefactors were high profile politically connected types?

Pittsfield’s operating budget costs taxpayers tens of millions of dollars more per fiscal year than similar small cities, such as Westfield. That additional money adds up to hundreds of millions of dollars extra per generation. Many thousands of residents and small businesses have moved away from Pittsfield over the past decades.
There is nothing more predictable than Pittsfield politics annual 5 percent spending increase with the rubber stamps on the City Council.
This is another article of proof that the 2-Pete’s Pittsfield politics have NOT changed anything for the better in the corrupt small city also known as Bitchfield.
White bitched about going over the three minute time allotment at open Mike last night and they did not listen. When one speaker violently clapped his hands at White,White ignored him.
I can tell you that any disruption that occurs like that the individual would be asked to leave, forcibly if necessary. This didn’t happen.

All leadership ever gives the taxpayers in return for their mandatory 5% yearly budget increases is more filth, more crime, higher taxes, higher fees, more poverty, failing schools, and drug dependency programs in Bitchfield..
For at least over the past 40 years now, no matter if there is a recession, an economic boom, an average economic year, and so on, Pittsfield politics ALWAYS increases city and public school spending by 5 percent without fail.
If you are on a low- to moderate- fixed or otherwise income in Pittsfield, then you are facing a severe financial struggle to pay the city an average of a little less than $7,000 per fiscal year from July 01st, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
If you are a political insider who cashes in on Pittsfield politics, you are doing really well for yourself.
I thought that the government was supposed to serve the people by investing our limited taxpayer dollars in the people and the community that they reside in. But it is the exact opposite in “Bitchfield”.
Well at least they are going to do North street over again spending many millions of dollars of taxpayer money so that construction companies have work to do.
Read an article not too long ago about what an abysmal failure the last redo was and guess who was the oversight guy on that? Morales or something was his name and guess who has oversight on this one? Yup, same guy and is this his third North street renovation? Maybe not the best choice but at least he does not buck the system and marches in a very straight line as instructed.
The arrogance by City Clowncil President White was totally uncalled for at last night’s meeting during the Open Mic. How dare he say that us taxpayers should be grateful that the City Council ALLOWS us to speak about issues for 3 minutes. He appears to not even listen to what is being said by the speaker. He gets his jollies by counting the seconds until he can bang his damn gavel. He made the above comment several times and also threatened to have the police clear the room. You wonder why so many taxpayers choose to not attend meetings, why bother. Taxpayers are basically told to shut up.
Also, during the Open Mic. Conant was sprawled out like he was missing his recliner at home. Persip and Lampiasi were having a secret conversation laughing while speakers were voicing their concerns. Many other councilors were texting and laughing. During some past meetings the “ladies row” have chosen to turn their backs on a speaker, many others have left the room. I have never seen this egotistical behavior in all my many years following city politics.
The most blatant issue I have seen in this present City Administration is how Mayor Marchetti keeps leaving the City Council Chambers when he doesn’t want to listen to what a speaker is saying, especially when they are suggesting that Marchetti do his job. Where does he go, does he go to kick a wall, grab a nip in his desk, is he that much of an angry man that he can’t curb his anger in public. We all know he needs anger management, it was brought to the forefront by his previous employer Pittsfield Coop Bank.
What a very sad group of losers. They are certainly showing their true colors, name one thing this present council has done to help the taxpayers. We need to vote them all out.
And when a brave young woman Pittsfield High School (PHS) student spoke to her local elected officials, Sara Hathaway chuckled when she stated to her constituents: “You kids with your anxieties.”
And Bill Cameron called the Planet Valenti blog commentary on the public school district’s scandals: “Synthetic”.
And the Pittsfield public school district HR bureaucrat called the state’s mandate to release the taxpayer-funded legal report: “An invasion”.
And the 2-Pete’s Pittsfield politics cowardly remain SILENT about the aforementioned school scandals.
Conclusion: There in NOBODY representing the fictional Kapanski’s in Pittsfield politics, but they use the Kapanski’s to collect as much state administered, federal aid funds as possible in return for….I won’t write it.
I’d say the most unproductive council in city history, and that says something!

Dan. My aunt who was one of the nicest woman I’ve ever known recently passed away. She wasn’t taking a certain medication because she couldn’t afford it directly due to the money she had to pay to the city (taxes rates)…we didn’t know she was strapped for money t pay and we would have helped her if we knew.
All she wanted was to live in her home.

I knew they would pick the candidate that had the least experience of the 3 because of her skin color and sex. The other 2 candidates had numerous years of being a superintendent at different schools. Their choice has never been a superintendent. Reminds me of the Patriots picking Mayo as head coach. Mayo had no experience, was only a linebacker coach. Kraft thought his DEI hire would get him in the HOF, not! He should have stayed out of that Massage Pallor .

I just finished listening to the following online public radio news story about Pittsfield Mayor Peter Marchetti’s controversial proposed ordinance to outlaw homeless (“unhoused”) residents of the small city from sleeping outside.

Pittsfield resident Shannon Stephens is an advocate for the homeless (“unhoused”) residents of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She stated that the mayor gave no alternative option for the homeless (“unhoused) residents of the small city.
More than 30 people spoke at the open mic portion of the Pittsfield City Council meeting on Tuesday evening, May 13th, 2025. Residents who spoke said that the mayor’s proposals are unconstitutional, cruel, [structural] violence, discrimination, bullying, and wondered how the mayor and his rubber stamp votes on the City Council are able to sleep at night.
It is clear that Mayor Peter Marchetti is a failed leader. He failed with the city’s public school district’s scandals. He failed with his anti-panhandling ordinance proposal that was voted down. He failed with his anti-homeless proposed ordinance. He failed with his predictable operating budgets that always increases city spending by 5 percent per fiscal year, raises local taxes and fees above that level, and is named in a federal sex discrimination civil lawsuit by Victoria May from her time at the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank.
If Mayor Peter Marchetti had any integrity, he would resign his elected office due to the above noted failures. Also, I believe that former Pittsfield Mayor Sara Hathaway, who serves on the Pittsfield School Committee, should resign after her unconscionable response to a young woman Pittsfield High School student who publicly spoke by Sara Hathaway chuckling and saying “You kids with your anxieties”.

Did I call it, or did I call it? Not that it was a tough prediction to make, but the Bitchfield Pubic Scohol Department went with a DEI hire, Latifah Phillips, for the superintendent position.
Latifah, has been in her assistant superintendent of diversity and inclusion position for 6 years and has never been offered a promotion, or promoted. until now. We’ll save her qualifications for another day.
I wanted to point out how tone deaf the BSD scohol comite is, in particular, William Garrity. In Garrity’s fawning review of Phillips, he used “spreading racism” concerning Lavonte Wiggins, when he was arrested, as being a key reason why he chose Phiilips. His quote below:
“When I met with PHS students in January, the racism that was spreading in the community was hurting them, and I still believe that is the case,” Garrity said. “I believe Phillips’ experience working with diversity and equity initiatives will help to restore a sense of belonging in our schools and help combat some of the racist narratives going on in our community.”
I guess William Garrity didn’t read the executive summary released by the DEI Law Firm concerning Da Dancin’ Dean. I’ll refresh William’s memory:
*Da Dancin Dean, an adult administrator, making numerous sexual advances towards juvenile female students.
*Da Dancin’ Dean ignored a court ordered (mandatorily enforced) restraining order (209A), against another student who had sexually assaulted her.
*Da Dancin’ Dean tried to pay another student to physically assault another student. This is also known in the criminal justice community, as conspiracy to commit a crime.
I’m curious if William Garrity ever met with any of the above students or their parents, when forming his opinion?
At a time when President Trump, with the OVERWHELMING SUPPORT of the USA, is cutting federal funding to public school districts defying his order to END RACIST DEI PROGRAMS, this was the last thing Bitchfield needed.

He wasnt elected. There was an empty uncontested seat which he took. Minimum age for office is Constitutional, and definitely needed for seats governing public education and spending.
At least at the end of his term, he should be able to claim 3 course credits in Sociology at whatever college he may get into. He’s got the mumble jargon down.
