CITY MURDER LIKELY WOULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED IF JUDGE HAD GRANTED BAIL SOUGHT BY D.A.

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, JUNE 3, 2026) — As one of our posters noted, it isn’t even summer, but crime in the city has already spiraled out of control. Here’s the kick in the head to the most recent city murder. The accused assailant was free, walking the streets, because a judge refused D.A. Tim Shugrue office’s request that he be held on bail following two arrests on assault charges in July and August 2025.

Murder Aided by the Judge

Judge Jennifer Tyne denied bail for an obviously dangerous man. Consequently, another man died. The press release from Julia Sabourin of the D.A.’s office did not name the judge. THE PLANET inquired. Sabourin wrote back: “I believe Judge Tyne was on the bench but I can confirm with the attorney who handled the August arraignment.”

Bleeding heart judges, a specialty of the Commonwealth, love to coddle criminals. As we have seen again, misplaced leniency can prove fatal. We wonder: If Tynes could go back to that August 2025 arraignment, would she have acted differently knowing what she no knows?

  • May 29, a fatal stabbing at 10 Hall Place. That little known byway lies in the quadrant bordered by Danforth north, Center Street on the east, Linden south, and Dewey at the west–the heart of Bitchfield’s version of the Wild, Wild West, appropriately known as the West Side. The murder took place shortly before 10 p.m. Zyrus Jaynes, 24, killed Jesse Gray after Gray drove in the Hall Place driveway at high speed, scraping bottom with his 2009 Toyota Camry. That angered Jaynes. Gray exited the car, threw a punch at Zaynes, which led to the fatal stabbing. How Bitchfield is that, a murder over a parking car?
  • May 31, 17 shots fired into two homes at Memorial and Doyle Drive. The shooting took place at 1:19 a.m., a time when the only folks hanging out are bad actors.
  • THE PLANET shan’t include the murder that took place in Sheffield’s Ashley Falls enclave on June 1, although it wouldn’t surprise us to learn that it, too, has a Bitchfield connection.

———- ooo ———-

Of course, neither Mayor Lumpy nor the new police chief bothered to hold a press conference if for nothing else than to calm jittery nerves of decent citizens who realize that the mean streets aren’t safe. That includes downtown, where honest folks get regularly hassled by the various deadbeats and walking dead who roam North Street like extras in a zombie film. If you escape them, be on the lookout for speeding motor bikes, on and off the sidewalks. Let it be said that only D.A. Shugrue manned up, appearing to the press after the Gray murder.

Great work by the Pittsfield Police, who nabbed Jaynes the next morning, about 12 hours later.

Zyrus Jaynes

Shugrue wasted no time arraigning Jaynes, charging him murder. This time, he is being held without bail. Jaynes lives at 41 Lester Ave., Springfield.  Buried in the turn of events is that Jaynes had outstanding charges against him. In July last year, police charged him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The following month, authorities again charged him with assault and battery in a separate case.  In August, Shugrue’s office asked that Jaynes be held without bail, but Judge Tynes ruled against the Commonwealth’s request. .

Following the arraignment, Shugrue said, “At this point it appears that Zyrus Jaynes and Jesse Gray had no prior connection before Friday’s stabbing. This senseless act led to the death of Jesse Gray and forever impacted the families of both Mr. Gray and the Defendant as well as the community. My thoughts are with all of those impacted by Mr. Gray’s murder. … This is an incredible tragedy, over this? For what? It’s just very, very sad. It’s just senseless. In this case, it’s extremely senseless.”

THE PLANET wonders how many thugs are loose on the streets because judges released them without bail.

What’s a liberal judge’s excuse for letting dangerous criminals loose?” — Sir Donald Turpentine, Knight of the Bath.

“OPEN THE WINDOW, AUNT MILLIE.”

“Pigs have Wings and they can Fly” SARCASM:

Violent Crime in Pittsfield (Mass.) attracts small businesses; so does Pittsfield having the 2nd highest Commercial Tax Rate in Massachusetts (Holyoke is 1st); so does Pittsfield’s Level 5 public schools that 679 students per academic year 2025 – 2026 choice out of to neighboring public school districts; so does downtown’s North Street’s Social Services Alley with its 15 to 25 empty storefronts; so does the Mayor’s record-breaking close to one-quarter-of-one-billion-dollar municipal operating budget proposal that will be voted on by the Pittsfield City Council next week on June 09, 2026; so does Pittsfield’s capped leaky landfills full of GE’s PCBs.

More SARCASM: If I were a middle-class family and/or a small business, I would look at Pittsfield’s downward spiral and institutional corruption, and I would say: NIGHTMARE(S) with the illusion that “Pigs have Wings and they can Fly”.

Pittsfield’s downward spiral existed prior to former Berkshire County District Attorney Andrea Harrington (2019 – 2022), and the progressive Judge(s) that do not always follow Berkshire County District Attorney Tim Shugrue’s recommendations on holding dangerous suspects/criminals without bail.

Mayor Peter Marchetti and the new Pittsfield Chief of Police should be publicly addressing Pittsfield’s Violent Crime. The Judge should have held the suspect/criminal without bail, too.

Mutual combat- IE self defense, Gray initiated a confrontation- got dead.

That Timmy the fixer, now try’s to spin, a judge following trial court guidelines, for his offices, failing to timely &properly prosecute Jaynes.

The Planet , must be angling for a position as Timmy’s press secretary, or is too inept, to ask any questions, which may again lead to his being silenced.

Let’s expand;

1) Why did the distracted attorney, claiming dangerousness, fail to bring Jaynes to a speedy trial?
Because both cases were weak- and they were attempting to extort a plea with public pretenders assistance. Plea would of most likely resulted in Jaynes , getting 3 months,

2) If Commonwealth would refrain from attempting dangerousness holds , to extort plea agreements,

Judges might take petitions seriously.

3) commonwealth , seemingly has a license to lie!

Timmy the fixer has been systematically violating defendants due process civil rights, by withholding Brady exculpatory evidence, providing false testimony and evidence, in many cases- again with public pretender and colleagues assistance.

4) As a capital murder case, Jaynes will receive a fair, public and speedy trial.

Most likely resulting in not guilty verdict, as he wasn’t the primary aggressor, self defense is an affirmative defense.

5) Timmy using this tragedy, to deflect, from his mismanagement of Distracted Attorneys office, further exposes his lack of character and intelligence.

Lumpy and Chief Madalina , used proper judgment , in waiting till facts were known, before making a statement. The 72 hr rule, Batory broke … better to be right than first.

6) Until Timmy cleans out the rats at 7 North street, public safety will only spiral downward. But no self respecting attorney will work for him, so status quo will remain.

Garbage in, garbage out…

Why Dan glosses over real stories, is another question, I have repeatedly asked.
The silence is deafening and speaks volumes.

Dan, what’s your take on Henry Novak murder by cops, and outrage by British citizens.

A)Is this Tommy Robinsons fault for exposing the threat of Muslim extremists , they being allowed to rape and murder
, by politicians prosecutors?

B)Or is it the fault of the politicians, for importing a voting block of third world immigrants, to garner a voting block?

C) Please keep in mind, Tommy Robinson also a victim of political persecution and weaponization of government. How’s that working out?

Seeing the pattern yet?

Noble cause corruption, by political elitists, who are being dug out of their holes &replaced by patriots .

Tell Timmy to look in the mirror, he will find the problem.

Jenifer Tyne is not the problem, it’s the institutional incestuous rot in America’s courts and prosecutors offices, political theater with an exorbitant price.

D) How long did Nipples last after attacking The honorable Judge Tyne?
Timmy is racing to replace Harrington as second shortest serving Distracted Attorney,
Thankfully, his tenure is over this year.

Final Question

IS IT BAD ENOUGH YET?

The judge denied bail? Or Do you mean he was released and not held? Confused

Why can’t we hold Judges accountable for NOT upholding the law? They put a man in jail years ago for setting fire to freaking hay

Not really. A judge in MA cannot be sued in the scope of their duties, both good and bad. It’s called Judicial Immunity.

About the only thing you can do is file a complaint against them with the MA Commission on Judicial Conduct:

Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct | Mass.gov

I, personally, wouldn’t waste my time. Even if they began to look into your (my) complaint, a quick phone call by the MA Illegal Aliens Rep, Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (d-illegal aliens), would shut it down.

I’ll use the PHS Pedophile Report as my example.

The state board stated the report could be released but suddenly changed their minds. The DEI law firm was not involved yet.

It doesn’t take Sherlock Homes to figure that out. In fact, I believe even former heavyweight boxing champ Larry Holmes figured it out.
