Lack of Fire Power: In Bitchfield, of course, there will be NO FIREWORKS. This makes Lumpyville one of practically nonexistent number of the 12,000 cities, towns, or villages in the United States that won’t have such a show. On the 250th. Keep in mind that Mayor Lumpy is Mr. Fourth of July Parade, head of a creepy committee that in the past could at least make for fireworks. No more. What a lump! Healey after our Matriarch concluded her visit and got in her chauffeured limo for the ride back to Boston. On the way, she dropped another $2 million at the BIC, soon to add Myrias Optics. The news was so big at the company that its website didn’t even mention it.
Commanisn: Have to laugh at the socialist lean of the once-proud Democrats, who have fallen for the exotic promise: “From each according to ability, to each according to work.” Except that they dropped the “work” and substituted it with “need.” That’s pure communism, that Cold War bugaboo. Communism is another of those economic theories, like “social credit,” that promises a classless society but delivers yet another method for greedy oligarchs to amass power and riches. As for the proletariat? Better hope that Big Government gives you enough crumbs to survive. Forget about living, unless you’re an illegal alien. Then you got it made. If you want to see it in action, visit New York City. The idea is to spread poverty to foster more reliance on government “freebies”–the ones paid for the Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski.
Safe: So far this year, Boston is averaging four shootings a week, with countless other stabbings, beating, and lawlessness. Mayor Wu still says Beantown is “the safest city in America.” Wu, of course, is a blow-in from crime-infested Chicago, where politicians ignore reality. Violence up, police manpower down. Wu as city councilor led a defund-the-police fad taken up by her successors. It has reduced the Hub’s force from 1,800 to 1,200. The chaotic results are evident everyday. Mayor Lumpy, following his idol, has pulled a complete disappearing act as illegals, mentally ill, druggies, and other assorted riff-raffles make downtown a nightmare.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: An amazing thing happened this week. Council President Dumpster Earl found “someone who looked like himself.” He looked into a mirror.

If Lumpy puts stickers of fireworks on his BIG beer belly and walks around shirtless, and the 15 to 25 empty storefronts on North Street reflect his image on the window panes, and Pete White loudly bangs on his Voltron mask, and Earl opens the empty dumpsters for echoes, and Tricia Country Buffet holds up lighted sparklers, then there would be no need for real fireworks in Pittsfield (Mass.) on the 4th of July.
I heard that Sara Hathaway told Boston Mayor Michelle Wu to use her “crime in Pittsfield is an aberration” line on Boston’s fictional Kapanski’s. She even told her that her quip that “Pittsfield is a Junkie for state aid” would make them forget about the past 2 years of double digit local tax increases in Boston.
As for Governor Maura Healey, at least she shows up in Western Massachusetts with state funds for BIC and other worthwhile programs. In fact, she has proposed increasing state aid to and new local revenue options for local governments, which would have helped areas such as Berkshire County.
But it is actually the Massachusetts State Representatives who are the ones who are most responsible for under-funding local aid and leaving financially constrained local governments without new local revenue options. Where are the Berkshire State Representatives Tricia Farley-Bouvier, Leigh Davis, and John Barrett III?
President Donald Trump is accusing the Democrats of supporting Communism in the 2026 midterms season that looks to be in the favor of the Democratic Party. Nobody wants Commie Oligarchs who make pseudo-promises of economic equality, but the Billionaire Oligarchs in America are not doing us commoners any real favors either when it comes to economic equality in the 21st Century.
Why are politics going to such black and white styled extremes? If the billionaires cannot have it all, then the Democrats will bring about Communism in America. Is there any in between in 2026?

ShIttsfield has certainly gone one way, down the shitter, over the past few decades, and the mayors not only let it happen, many of them, particularly Marchetti and Tyer, facilitated the flushing. What the city lacks in fireworks, it will make up for in gunshots over the weekend.

Re: Kelly’s CRINGE cards
My reply is that Kelly Ayotte plays her CRINGE cards against Democrats such as Governor Maura Healey and her friend in Manchester, NH, Joyce Craig, along with her campaign tagline of “Don’t MASS Up NH”.
Let’s take a look at Kelly Ayotte’s public record.
She used to sit on corporate boards of multi-billion-dollar companies. Her priorities are millionaires and billionaires in BIG business and BIG government.
After the school shooting tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, she was the only U.S. Senator in the entire northeast region of the U.S.A. who voted against gun reform legislation that after 13.5 years still has NOT passed in the U.S. Congress.
Since the aforementioned school shooting tragedy, there have been many additional school shootings in the U.S.A. Career politicians such as Kelly Ayotte are only about BIG Money and Power. They do not care about protecting the innocent lives of children in schools across the U.S.A.
Kelly Ayotte says that she is pro-life, but she is also pro-GUNS that are anti-life.
Kelly Ayotte should NOT be the Governor of New Hampshire. She does not support the state government fully funding public education in NH. She favors millionaire families who use state funds to send their privileged children to the best private schools. She even supports Donald Trump who is dismantling the U.S. Department of Education.
Kelly Ayotte is the WORST Governor in the history of New Hampshire. The working class population is seeing negative net wage and net income growth. In conclusion, it is frustrating for me – Jon Melle – to witness Kelly Ayotte’s CRINGE politics because she is no better than her opposition. Furthermore, I believe that Massachusetts (my home state) is a beautiful state (like NH), and that Governor Maura Healey supports and stands for good causes that I support.

#new 8-10 million gallons of sewage water has been pouring into the Merrimack River in Gov. Maura Healey’s Massachusetts every single day since June 27

Swimming has been banned at North Shore beaches along with shellfishing and possible Fourth of July celebrations because Healey’s administration hasn’t been able to fix a broken sewer line over the last five days.
The breaks happened during a severe thunderstorm.
A 42-inch sewer force main near Haverhill’s South Mill Street Pumping Station failed in two places.
Wastewater that should have reached the city’s treatment plant instead overflowed directly into the Merrimack River downstream of downtown Haverhill.
A second break was identified the next day during inspections.
Haverhill Department of Public Works Director Bob Ward confirmed the amount of raw sewage:
“Eight or 10 million gallons a day, you know, there’s no way to put it; it’s just constant.”
Merrimack River Watershed Council testing found unsafe bacteria levels at multiple sites, with E. coli in one location reaching 40 times safe limits.
Health risks include gastrointestinal illness, infections, and in severe cases organ damage or death in both humans and animals.
Conservatives say this is another example of what Democrat policy and priorities gets its
Critics, say that the democrat’s excessive spending on services for illegal migrants and progressive social programs has diverted focus and resources from infrastructure upkeep and predictable failures from aging infrastructure.
The phrase “Democrats destroy everything they touch” reflects widespread frustration from people who see one-party governance producing repeated disasters in basic public services despite sky high taxes and spending.

Only in Pittsfield do they celebrate the 4th of July on the 8th of July. The once shining star of the Berkshires is now the outhouse of the Berkshires. Nothing but druggies, social services, corrupt politicians, beggers and other forms of the walking zombies.
Why is it that when people beg you to vote for them and elect them to be your mayor because they want to contribute to making the city a more wonderful place, they seem to totally disappear after their term? Do they not care anymore or is it that they feel they have milked it for all they could get out of it and no longer have any use for the place?

I don’t know what was worse, the actual parade or the TV coverage of the parade. Bob Heck and Rebecca Brien did not shut up babbling for the whole 2 hours, and anytime a actual band would start playing, they would cut away to thank their sponsers, I also felt it was more of the Pride Parade. Did notice when our do nothing City politicians marched by there was complete silence from the crowd. I am sure their egos are so inflated they did not notice. Found it strange that Police Chief Maddalena marched with them, don’t ever remember Chief Wynn marching with them, was the Chief there to protect Lumpy? Also, saw some comments on Facebook from Rebecca Brien the current head of the parade, that the committee is falling apart due to bullying and negative comments regarding new ideas. Also the financial condition is not good at all. It was stated they almost didn’t have enough money for balloons. Why did she and the remaining committee not plan some fundraising during the whole year? No thought process, Is Pittsfield going to lose it’s parade next?
As far as choosing July 8th for the fireworks, wouldn’t it have made more sense to promise a big fireworks show on Labor Day weekend to make up for their error on the 4th weekend. At least we would be celebrating something, instead of having it on a week night. Once again, no thought process of the Administration.
Also, read that the crappy newspaper known as the Berkshire Eagle is ONCE AGAIN raising the prices. Cracks me up that the thinner the paper gets the more it cost. Most of the news hits IBerkshires, Albany and Springfield news days before the Eagle puts out their lousy paper.

Amazing fireworks in Washington DC last night. So much color and beauty in these fireworks. The military band sounded as good as the original singers of the songs during the fireworks. It was the longest fireworks display according to Guinness world records. The military planes sending out streams of red, white, and blue. The gorgeous tall ships from around the world that traveled a great distance to celebrate our birthday. The speech by President Trump reminding us that America is a very special country with freedoms not found anywhere else in the world. Freedoms that we should never take for granted. It was a beautiful celebration of our 250th birthday.
